2Effects of disinhibition on spatiotemporal pattern of neuronal first recruitment in neuronal networks显示文摘The propagation of neuronal activities is a key feature to understanding information processing in networks. The analysis based on first-spikes of bursts in turn plays an important role in the research of neuronal activity propagation. Our focus here is to investigate how spatiotemporal patterns of neuronal first-spikes are affected by disinhibition. Multi-electrode arrays were used to record stimulation-evoked bursts of multiple neurons in randomly cultured neuronal networks. Both the precise timing of and the rank relationships between first-spikes were analyzed. Compared with evoked bursts in the network's native state, the precise first-spike latencies in its dis-inhibited state are more consistent and the propagation of its bursting activities is much faster. 3Fast-growing procedure for perovskite films in planar heterojunction perovskite solar cells显示文摘A fast-growing procedure(FGP) to fabricate perovskite films with large grain sizes is described in this article. In the FGP method, the perovskite precursor solution is coated onto the substrates at a temperature of 240 8C. The solvent in the precursor solution evaporates quickly in about 2 s, resulting in the rapid formation of a perovskite film without further annealing process. Millimeter-scale perovskite grain clusters are obtained in the film. 4Synergistic Effects of Solvent Vapor Assisted Spin-coating and Thermal Annealing on Enhancing the Carrier Mobility of Poly(3-hexylthiophene)Field-effect Transistors显示文摘Poly(3-hexylthiophene)(P3HT)thin films,obtained by normal spin-coating and solvent vapor assisted spin-coating(SVASP)before and after thermal annealing(TA),and the corresponding devices were prepared to unravel the microstructure-property relationship,which is of great importance for the development of organic electronics.When SVASP-TA films were used as the active layers of the organic field-effect transistors,a hole mobility up to 0.38 cm^(2)·V^(-1)·s^(-1)was achieved.This mobility was one of the highest values and one order of magnitude higher than that of the normal spin-coating films based transistors.The relationship between the microstructure and the device performance was fully investigated by UV-Vis absorption spectra,grazing incident X-ray diffraction(GIXD),and atomic force microscopy(AFM).The impressive mobility was attributed to the high crystallinity and ordered molecule packing,which stem from the synergistic effects of SVASP and thermal annealing.Xiao-Lan Qiao Jie Yang Lian-He Han Ji-Dong Zhang Mei-Fang Zhua 2021Chinese Journal of Polymer Science2021,39,7:3

6Copolymer-assisted Polypropylene Separator for Fast and Uniform Lithium Ion Transport in Lithium-ion Batteries显示文摘In lithium-ion batteries(LIBs),separators play a vital role in lithium-ion(Li+)transport,and thus affect rate performance,battery life,and safety.Here,a new kind of multifunctional copolymer poly(acrylonitrile-co-lithium acrylate-co-butyl acrylate)(PAAB-Li)is synthesized through soap-free emulsion polymerization,and is used to form homogeneous-covered separator based on PP matrix by a simple dip-annealing process.Compared to the bare PP separator,the modified separators with PAAB-Li enable higher ionic conductivity,higher lithium ion transference number(increased from 0.360 to 0.525),and lower interface impedance(reduced from 155Ω to 34Ω).It has been indicated that PAAB-Li functional layer significantly promotes the fast transport of Li+and improves the compatibility of the separator/electrolyte-electrode interface.The LiCo02/graphite cells with the PAAB-Li-assisted separator demonstrate excellent cycle stability and rate performance.In addition,the Li symmetric cells with the modified separator stably cycle over 800 h,indicating the functional layer effectively suppresses the lithium dendrite growth.This facile strategy can be easily applied to LIBs requiring high safety and even be scalable to Li metal batteries.Moreover,the possible mechanism of the PAAB-Li functional layer promoting fast and uniform Li+transport is discussed in this paper.Yan Yan Qing-Ran Kong Chuang-Chao Sun Jia-Jia Yuan Zheng Huang Li-Feng Fang Bao-Ku Zhua You-Zhi Song 2020Chinese Journal of Polymer Science2020,38,12:2
7Zinc finger factor ZNF121 is a MYC-interacting protein functionally affecting MYC and cell proliferation in epithelial cells显示文摘MYC is a potent oncoprotein that modulates multiple cellular processes including proliferation,apoptosis, differentiation, stemness, senescence, and migration. Functioning primarily as a transcriptional factor, MYC interacts with a large number of proteins, and identification and characterization of MYC-interacting proteins are important for understanding how MYC functions. In this study, we used different systems to demonstrate that a novel zinc finger transcription factor, ZNF121, physically interacted with MYC, and the interaction involved their N-terminal regions. Overexpression of ZNF121 increased, while its knockdown decreased, the expression of MYC in multiple epithelial cell lines, and MYC had similar effects on ZNF121 expression. An expression correlation was also detectable in a panel of epithelial cell lines and a cohort of human breast cancer tissues. Functionally, knockdown of ZNF121 in several breast epithelial cell lines attenuated the expressions of MYC and its target genes(e.g., EGR1,CDC2, and nucleolin) and slowed cell proliferation, accompanied by cell cycle arrest in the G1 phase and expression alteration of cell cycle regulators(cyclin D1, p14 and p21). Analysis of publically available databases showed that ZNF121 expression is up-regulated in human breast cancer, and the up-regulation significantly associates with worse patient survival in the luminal A subtype of breast cancer.
