1Fundamentals of phase-only liquid crystal on silicon (LCOS) devices显示文摘This paper describes the fundamentals of phase-only liquid crystal on silicon(LCOS)technology,which have not been previously discussed in detail.This technology is widely utilized in high efficiency applications for real-time holography and diffractive optics.The paper begins with a brief introduction on the developmental trajectory of phase-only LCOS technology,followed by the correct selection of liquid crystal(LC)materials and corresponding electro-optic effects in such devices.Attention is focused on the essential requirements of the physical aspects of the LC layer as well as the indispensable parameters for the response time of the device.Furthermore,the basic functionalities embedded in the complementary metal oxide semiconductor(CMOS)silicon backplane for phase-only LCOS devices are illustrated,including two typical addressing schemes.Finally,the application of phase-only LCOS devices in real-time holography will be introduced in association with the use of cutting-edge computer-generated holograms.Zichen Zhang Zheng You Daping Chu 2014Light(Science & Applications)2014,3,1:25

3Research on Direct Yaw Moment Control Strategy of Distributed-Drive Electric Vehicle Based on Joint Observer显示文摘Combined with the characteristics of the distributed-drive electric vehicle and direct yaw moment control,a double-layer structure direct yaw moment controller is designed.The upper additional yaw moment controller is constructed based on model predictive control.Aiming at minimizing the utilization rate of tire adhesion and constrained by the working characteristics of motor system and brake system,a quadratic programming active set was designed to optimize the distribution of additional yaw moments.The road surface adhesion coefficient has a great impact on the reliability of direct yaw moment control,for which joint observer of vehicle state parameters and road surface parameters is designed by using unscented Kalman filter algorithm,which correlates vehicle state observer and road surface parameter observer to form closed-loop feedback correction.The results show that compared to the“feedforward+feedback”control,the vehicle’s error of yaw rate and sideslip angle by the model predictive control is smaller,which can improve the vehicle stability effectively.In addition,according to the results of the docking road simulation test,the joint observer of vehicle state and road surface parameters can improve the adaptability of the vehicle stability controller to the road conditions with variable adhesion coefficients.Quan Min Min Deng Zichen Zheng Shu Wang Xianyong Gui Haichuan Zhang 2021Energy Engineering2021,118,4:1
4Pd@Ir-LOD multienzyme utilizing endogenous lactate consumption cooperates with photothermal for tumor therapy显示文摘Lactic acid(LA)plays a major role in the occurrence,development,and spread of cancer.Enlightened by its high accumulation in tumor site,a novel lactate oxidase(LOD)conjugated two-dimensional Pd@Ir nanoplatform(Pd@Ir-LOD,PIL)was fabricated to combine cascade reaction with photothermal for tumor therapy.In detail,the overexpressed LA in tumor microenvironment(TME)was a key factor to activate the PIL-based cascade reaction:(1)Plenty of H_(2)O_(2)could be generated from LA by the catalysis of LOD with O_(2);(2)potent·OH was produced from H_(2)O_(2)due to the peroxidase(POD)-like activity of PIL;(3)meantime,PIL’s catalase(CAT)-like activity could decompose part H_(2)O_(2)into O_(2)to achieve the purpose of LA cyclic oxidization.Moreover,the reduced glutathione(GSH)scavenging capability of PIL might protect the produced reactive oxygen species(ROS)from being cleared to further improve the cascade therapeutic effect.More importantly,PIL had excellent photothermal conversion efficiency(37.35%)and manifested a surprising temperature rising effect in tumor.Taken together,the decreasing LA concentration,accumulation of high-toxic ROS,the depletion of GSH together with the higher intra-tumoral temperature potently enhanced in vivo antitumor therapy.Therefore,a promising therapeutic tactic based on PIL integrating endogenous LA consumption,chemodynamic therapy(CDT),and photothermal therapy(PTT)has been put forward.Zichen Ye Yun Li Jingchao Li Xinyan Hu Jinyang Zheng Gongxin Zhang Sijin Xiang Tianbao Zhu Zhide Guo Xiaolan Chen 2024Nano Research2024,17,1:0
5Ultrasensitive room-temperature geranyl acetone detection based on Fe@WO_(3−x) nanoparticles in cooked rice flavor analysis显示文摘In the assessment of food quality,geranyl acetone plays a crucial role as a volatile organic compound(VOC)biomarker for diverse agricultural products,while the ultralow concentration detection meeting application requirements has been barely studied.Herein,an iron(Fe)-doped WO_(3−x) gas sensor was employed for greatly sensitive,selective,and scalable geranyl acetone detection.The results proved that precisely-regulated oxygen vacancy(OV)and sophisticatedly-active electron transition of Fe-doped WO_(3−x) nanoparticles were fulfilled by modifying the doping amount of Fe^(3+),leading to the prominently enhanced sensitivity(23.47 at 6 ppm),low limit of detection(LOD)(237 ppb),optimal selectivity,and outstanding long-term stability.Furthermore,the enhancing mechanism of gas sensing performance was substantiated through density functional theory(DFT)calculation,while the practical application for the evaluation of spoiled cooked rice was conducted as well.This study demonstrates a reliable method for detecting a VOC biomarker in cooked rice,which can ensure food security and improve palatability of cooked rice.Zichen Zheng Kewei Liu Yiwen Zhou Marc Debliquy Chao Zhang 2023Journal of Advanced Ceramics2023,12,8:0
6Targeting LncRNA LLNLR-299G3.1 with antisense oligonucleotide inhibits malignancy of esophageal squamous cell carcinoma cells in vitro and in vivo显示文摘Accumulating evidence has indicated that long non-coding RNAs(lncRNAs)play critical roles in the development and progression of cancers,including esophageal squamous cell carcinoma(ESCC).However,the mechanisms of lncRNAs in ESCC are still incompletely understood and therapeutic attempts for in vivo targeting cancer-associated lncRNA remain a challenge.By RNA-sequencing analysis,we identified that LLNLR-299G3.1 was a novel ESCC-associated lncRNA.LLNLR-299G3.1 was up-regulated in ESCC tissues and cells and promoted ESCC cell proliferation and invasion.Silencing of LLNLR-299G3.1 with ASO(antisense oligonucleotide)resulted in opposite effects.Mechanistically,LLNLR-299G3.1 bound to cancerassociated RNA binding proteins and regulated the expression of cancer-related genes,including OSM,TNFRSF4,HRH3,and SSTR3.ChIRP-seq(chromatin isolation by RNA purification and sequencing)revealed that these genes contained enriched chromatin binding sites for LLNLR-299G3.1.Rescue experiments confirmed that the effects of LLNLR-299G3.1 on ESCC cell proliferation were dependent on interaction with HRH3 and TNFRSF4.Therapeutically,intravenous delivery of placental chondroitin sulfate A binding peptide-coated nanoparticles containing antisense oligonucleotide(pICSA-BP-ANPs)strongly inhibited ESCC tumor growth and significantly improved animal survival in vivo.Overall,our results suggest that LLNLR-299G3.1 promotes ESCC malignancy through regulating gene-chromatin interactions and targeting ESCC by pICSA-BP-ANPs may be an effective strategy for the treatment of lncRNA-associated ESCC.LI TIAN YONGYI HUANG BAOZHEN ZHANG YI SONG LIN YANG QIANQIAN CHEN ZHENG WANG YILING WANG QIHAN HE WENHAN YANG SHUYONG YU TIANYU LU ZICHEN LIU KAIPING GAO XIUJUN FAN JIAN SONG RIHONG ZHAI 2023Oncology Research2023,31,4:0

8Eu^(3+)/Tb^(3+)-doped whitlockite nanocrystals:Controllable synthesis,cell imaging,and the degradation process in the bone reconstruction显示文摘Whitlockite(WH,Ca_(18)Mg_(2)(HPO_(4))_(2)(PO_(4))_(12))is an important inorganic phase in human bones and has positive significance for participating in the bone reconstruction process.In this paper,we report different doping strategies to prepare WH and WH-Ln(Eu/Tb)nanocrystals,and have successfully synthesized WH-Ln(Eu/Tb)nanoparticles(NPs)with bright red or green fluorescence based on ions exchange doping by two-step hydrothermal reaction.WH-5%Ln(Eu/Tb)NPs with the best fluorescence properties were successfully applied to live cell imaging,and WH-5%Eu NPs were implanted into the bone defect site in rabbit femoral condyles to visually observe its degradation process.The related results would help us understand WH nanocrystals and further expand their potential applications in tissue engineering and related fields.Zichen Yang Tianyu Yao Xiaoyan Zheng Junfeng Hui Daidi Fan 2022Nano Research2022,15,2:0
