1Deep Reinforcement Learning for Power System Applications: An Overview显示文摘Due to increasing complexity, uncertainty and data dimensions in power systems, conventional methods often meet bottlenecks when attempting to solve decision and control prob- lems. Therefore, data-driven methods toward solving such prob- lems are being extensively studied. Deep reinforcement learning (DRL) is one of these data-driven methods and is regarded as real artificial intelligence (AI). DRL is a combination of deep learning (DL) and reinforcement learning (RL). This field of research has been applied to solve a wide range of complex sequential decision-making problems, including those in power systems. This paper firstly reviews the basic ideas, models, algorithms and techniques of DRL. Applications in power systems such as energy management, demand response, electricity market, operational control, and others are then considered. 3Design and experiment on intelligent fuzzy monitoring system for corn planters显示文摘When sowing summer corn without tillage,it is necessary to ensure that the furrow opener is free from straw congestion and that the spacing of the sowing can be adjusted according to the breeds of corn and the preset seeding rate per acre.On the basis of the structural features of newly developed no-tillage corn fertilizers,an intelligent fuzzy monitoring system for corn planters was developed in this study.The system facilitates automatic control of the spacing adjustment and the status monitor for the fertilizer tank,seed tank,and seeding orifice.According to the preset number of rows,line spacing,number of plants per acre,and seed germination rate,the control rate can be calculated through designing in surveillance software.The control rate is output to the fuzzy controller through the digital output module of the CAN bus.Fuzzy control is applied to the DC motor for stepless adjustment of the spacing.A system for video surveillance of the working status of a planter is developed for displaying a real-time video image of the planter operation and achieving an anti-congestion status monitoring of a no-tillage planting operation in a dusty environment.Through field trials,the detection accuracy was 91.4%.The seed-clogging fault-alarm accuracy was 96.0%.The entire system remained stable and reliable.Du Ruicheng Gong Bingcai Liu Ningning Wang Chenchen Yang Zidong Ma Mingjian 2013International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2013,6,3:16

5Controlled synthesis of single cobalt atom catalysts via a facile one-pot pyrolysis for efficient oxygen reduction and hydrogen evolution reactions显示文摘Metal-nitrogen doped carbon catalysts(M-N/C) with abundantly accessible M-Nxsites, particularly single metal atom M-N/C(SAM-N/C), have been developed as a substitute for expensive Pt-based catalysts.These catalysts are used to increase the efficiency of otherwise sluggish oxygen reduction reactions(ORR) and hydrogen evolution reactions(HER). However, although the agglomerated metal nanoparticles are usually easy to form, they are very difficult to remove due to the protective surface-coating carbon layers, a factor that significantly hampers SAM-N/C fabrication. Herein, we report a one-step pyrolysis approach to successfully fabricate single cobalt atom Co-N/C(SACo-N/C) by using a Co2+-SCN-coordination compound as the metal precursor. Thanks to the decomposition of Co2+-SCN-compound at lower temperature than that of carbon layer deposition, Co-rich particles grow up to larger ones before carbon layers formation. Even though encapsulated by the carbon layers, it is difficult for the large Co-rich particle to be completely sealed. And thus, it makes the Co atoms possible to escape from incomplete carbon layer, to coordinate with nitrogen atoms, and to form SACo-N/C catalysts. This SACo-N/C exhibits excellent performances for both ORR(half-wave potential of 0.878 V) and HER(overpotential at 10 mA/cm2 of178 m V), and is thus a potential replacement for Pt-based catalysts. When SACo-N/C is integrated into a Zn-O2 battery, battery with high open-circuit voltage(1.536 V) has high peak power density(266 mW/cm2)and large gravimetric energy density(755 mA h/gZn) at current densities of 100 mA/cm2. 7Fabrication of pure copper rods containing continuous columnar crystals by continuous unidirectional solidification technology显示文摘Pure copper rods containing continuous columnar crystals were fabricated using the downward CUS (Continuous Unidirectional Solidification) equipment. When the technological parameters were set as the ranges of mould temperature 1100-1300℃,cooling distance (the distance from the exit of the cast mould to the start point of cooling) 10-20 mm, casting speed 0.2-2.5 mm/s,cooling water (20-25℃) volume 1000-1320 L/h, and when these parameters matched reasonably, the CUS process was performed stably, and pure copper rods containing continuous columnar crystals with bright and smooth surface were produced. The dendritic arm spacing of the crystals in copper rods decreased with increasing the casting speed. 8Continuous unidirectional solidification of QAl9-4 Cu-Al alloy显示文摘A continuous unidirectional solidification equipment with the advantages of electric slag remelting, induction heating, continuous casting and unidirectional solidification was built to study the QAl9 4 Cu Al alloy. 9Hierarchically porous nitrogen-doped carbon as cathode for lithium–sulfur batteries显示文摘Porous nitrogen-doped carbon is an especially promising material energy storage due to its excellent conductivity, stable physicochemical properties, easy processability, controllable porosity and low price.Herein, we reported a novel well-designed hierarchically porous nitrogen-doped carbon(HPNC) via a combination of salt template(ZnCl_2) and hard template(SiO_2) as sulfur host for lithium–sulfur batteries. The low-melting ZnCl_2 is boiled off and leaves behind micropores and small size mesopores during pyrolysis process, while the silica spheres are removed by acid leaching to generate interconnected 3D network of macropores. The HPNC-S electrode exhibits an initial specific capacity of 1355 mAh g^(–1) at 0.1 C(1 C = 1675 m Ah g^(–1)), a high-rate capability of 623 m Ah g^(–1) at 2 C, and a small decay of 0.13% per cycle over 300 cycles at 0.2 C. 10Targeted Double Negative Properties in Silver/Silica Random Metamaterials by Precise Control of Microstructures显示文摘Te mechanism of negative permittivity/permeability is still unclear in the random metamaterials,where the precise control of microstructure and electromagnetic properties is also a challenge due to its random characteristic.Here silver was introduced into porous SiO_(2) microsphere matrix by a self-assemble and template method to construct the random metamaterials.Te distribution of silver was restricted among the interstices of SiO_(2) microspheres,which lead to the precise regulation of electrical percolation(from hoping to Drude-type conductivity)with increasing silver content.Negative permittivity came from the plasma-like behavior of silver network,and its value and frequency dispersion were further adjusted by Lorentz-type dielectric response.During this process,the frequency of epsilon-near-zero(ENZ)could be adjusted accordingly.Negative permeability was well explained by the magnetic response of eddy current in silver micronetwork.Te calculation results indicated that negative permeability has a linear relation with ω^(0.5),showing a relaxation-type spectrum,diferent from the“magnetic plasma”of periodic metamaterials.Electromagnetic simulations demonstrated that negative permittivity materials and ENZ materials,with the advantage of enhanced absorption(40dB)and intelligent frequency selection even in a thin thickness(0.1 mm),could have potentials for electromagnetic attenuation and shielding.Tis work provides a clear physical image for the theoretical explanation of negative permittivity and negative permeability in random metamaterials,as well as a novel strategy to precisely control the microstructure of random metamaterials.Peitao Xie Zidong Zhang Zhongyang Wang Kai Sun Runhua Fan 2019Research2019,,1:6
11Microstructure evolution of in-situ nanoparticles and its comprehensive effect on high strength steel显示文摘A novel steel strengthened by nanoparticles was investigated in this study. A Fe-based high-strength steel was developed by the trace-element regional supply method during deoxidization to generate in situ nanoparticles with a high number density in the matrix. The results show that the endogenous nanoparticles are aluminum oxide (AI2O3) and titanium oxide (Ti3O5) formed in the liquid melt. Al2O3 functioned as a heterogeneous nucleation site for MnS during solidification;the size of the resultant complex inclusions was approximately 1-2 jjim. Furthermore, 13 nm Nb(C,N) precipitates grew with the Ti30 5 during the tempering process. These in situ nanopartides strongly affected refining of the grain and inclusions. 12DFT study of difference caused by catalyst supports in Pt and Pd catalysis of oxygen reduction reaction显示文摘Based on an experimental phenomenon that catalytic activity of Pt and Pd for oxygen reduction reaction (ORR) changes with catalyst supports from C to TiO2, density function theory (DFT) was used to elucidate the cause behind the difference in catalysis caused by catalyst supports. First, factors closely associated with the first electron transfer of the ORR were assessed in the light of quantum chemistry. Then intermediate (atomic oxygen, O) adsorption strength on the catalyst surface was calculated. The results show that, in terms of minimum energy difference, the best orbital symmetry match, and the maximum orbital overlap, TiO2 does bring about a very positive effect on catalysts Pd/TiO2 for the first electron transfer of the ORR. Especially, TiO2 remarkably expands the space size of Pd/TiO2 HOMO orbital and improves orbital overlap of Pd/TiO2 HOMO and O2 LUMO. The analysis of deformation density and partial density of state shows that the strong interaction between Pt and Ti leads to a strong adsorption of intermediate O on Pt/TiO2, but the strong interaction between Pd and surface O causes positive net charge of Pd and a weak adsorption of intermediate O on Pd/TiO2. Thus, the ORR can proceed more smoothly on Pd/TiO2 than Pt/TiO2 in every respect of maximum orbital overlap and rate delay by intermediate O. The research also discloses that several factors lead to less activity of TiO2-supported Pt and Pd catalysts than the C-supported ones for the ORR. 14Pinning controllability of autonomous Boolean control networks显示文摘Autonomous Boolean networks(ABNs), which are developed to model the Boolean networks(BNs)with regulatory delays, are well known for their advantages of characterizing the intrinsic evolution rules of biological systems such as the gene regulatory networks. As a special type of ABNs with binary inputs, the autonomous Boolean control networks(ABCNs) are introduced for designing and analyzing the therapeutic intervention strategies where the binary inputs represent whether a certain medicine is dominated or not. An important problem in the therapeutic intervention is to design a control sequence steering an ABCN from an undesirable location(implying a diseased state) to a desirable one(corresponding to a healthy state). Motivated by such background, this paper aims to investigate the reachability and controllability of ABCNs with pinning controllers. Several necessary and sufficient criteria are provided by resorting to the semi-tensor product techniques of matrices. Moreover, an effective pinning control algorithm is presented for steering an ABCN from any given states to the desired state in the shortest time period. 15Enhanced Photocatalytic Activity of Nanoparticle-Aggregated Ag–AgX(X=Cl, Br)@TiO_2 Microspheres Under Visible Light显示文摘Ag–AgX(X = Cl, Br)@TiO_2 nanoparticle-aggregated spheres with different mass ratio of R = TiO2/Ag(X) from 35:1 to 5:1 were synthesized by a facile sol–gel technique with post-photoreduction. The photocatalytic activities of both Ag–Ag Cl@TiO_2 and Ag–Ag Br@TiO_2 under visible light are effectively improved by ~3 times relative to TiO_2 NPAS under the simulated sunlight for the decomposition of methyl orange(MO). Ag–AgBr@TiO_2 showed 30% improvement and less stable in photocatalytic activity than that of AgCl@TiO_2. The role of Ag and Ag X nanoparticles on the surface of Ag–Ag X(X = Cl,Br)@TiO_2 was discussed. Ag on these samples not onlycan efficiently harvest visible light especially for Ag Cl, but also efficiently separate excited electrons and holes via the fast electron transfer from Ag X(X = Cl, Br) to metal Ag nanoparticles and then to TiO_2-aggregated spheres on the surface of heterostructure. 17Position tracking and attitude control for quadrotors via active disturbance rejection control method显示文摘In this paper, a trigonometric-saturation-function-based position controller is designed for the quadrotor system with internal and external disturbances. Furthermore, in the attitude control problem, a dual closed-loop structure is put forward. Specifically, a nonlinear extended-state-observer(ESO) is employed to provide an estimate for the so-called total disturbance. Then, based on the estimate provided by the ESO,a nonlinear composite control strategy is designed for the purpose of angular tracking. Some sufficient conditions are established to guarantee that the position and attitude subsystems are stable. The contributions are mainly as follows.(1) A trigonometric-saturation-function is used in the position control which could guarantee that the studied system is fully-actuated.(2) The nonlinear ESO is implemented in the attitude control-loop which could enhance the anti-disturbance property. 18Consensus control of stochastic multi-agent systems: a survey显示文摘In this article, we provide a review of the consensus control problem for stochastic multi-agent systems(MASs). Recent advances are surveyed according to the method of occurrence of the stochasticity of the MASs. First, the consensus problem is discussed for MASs, wherein individual agents are corrupted by random noises, i.e., the dynamics of agents involve stochasticity in process and/or measurement equations. Both additive noises and multiplicative noises are surveyed in detail and special attention is paid to the MASs whose dynamics are governed by It?o differential equations. Moreover, particular effort is devoted to presenting the latest progress on the consensus problem for a special type of stochastic MAS with Markovian jump parameters. Subsequently,the relevant research is summarized for MASs with noisy communication environments and stochastic sampling.Further, we provide a systematic review of the consensus problems for MASs whose communication topology varies randomly in the process of data propagation among agents. 20A DFT study on PtMo resistance to SO_2 poisoning显示文摘Pt is a catalyst in proton exchange membrane fuel cell (PEMFC), and its activity will be degraded in the air due to the existence of SOx impurities. On strategy is introducing of Mo into the Pt catalyst because it can improve the SOx -tolerance capacity. Based on the aforementioned phenomenon, a density function theory (DFT) study on SO x adsorbed on Pt(111) and PtMo(111) was performed to enhance Pt catalytic activity. The adsorption energy of adsorbed species, the net change, partial density of state (PDOS), and d-band center were calculated and analyzed comparatively. The results show that the presence of Mo-atom weakens the S-Pt bond strength and reduces the adsorption energies for SO2 , S and SO3 on PtMo(111).
