| 2 | Energy-Based Prediction of Low Cycle Fatigue Life of High-Strength Structural Steel显示文摘Energy-based models for predicting the low-cycle fatigue life of high-strength structural steels are presented. The models are based on energy dissipation during average of cycles, cycles to crack propagation and total cycles to failure. Plastic strain energy per cycle was determined and found as an important characteristic for initiation and propagation of fatigue cracks for high-strength structural steels. Fatigue strain-life curves were generated using plastic energy dissipation per cycle (loop area) and compared with the Coffin-Manson relation. Low cycle fatigue life was found similar from both methods. The material showed Masing-type behavior. The cyclic hysterisis energy per cycle was calculated from cyclic stress-strain parameters. | 3 | Preparation of Pt/K_2La_2Ti_3O_(10) and its photo-catalytic activity for hydrogen evolution from methanol water solution显示文摘A layered perovskite-type oxide K2La2Ti3O10 was prepared with high-temperature solid-state reaction, and characterized with X-ray diffraction (XRD) and ultraviolet-visible diffuse re-flectance spectroscopy (UV-Vis DRS). Platinum was loaded onto K2La2Ti3O10 as a co-catalyst with different methods. The dispersion of platinum on K2La2Ti3O10 was determined with HOT method. The photocatalytic activity of Pt/K2La2Ti3O10 was studied. This catalyst showed much higher activity in hydrogen evolution reaction than Ni/K2La2Ti3O10. The effects of different amounts of loaded platinum and several preparation methods were evaluated. The best achieved hydrogen evolution rate was 233.88 μmol·h?1 by Pt(2%)/K2La2Ti3O10. | 9 | Analysis on Variation Characteristics of the Precipitation in Zigong City in Recent 50 Years显示文摘[Objective]The research aimed to analyze variation characteristics of the precipitation in Zigong City in recent 50 years.[Method] Based on daily precipitation data at three observation stations in Zigong City from 1961 to 2010,linear tendency method and accumulative anomaly method were adopted to analyze climatic change characteristics of the annual,seasonal,monthly rainfalls and rain days in Zigong City in recent 50 years.[Result]The annual rainfall overall presented a decreasing trend at the variation tendency rate of-28.0 mm /10 a in Zigong City.The annual rain days obviously declined at the variation tendency rate of-5.6 d /10 a.The decline of rain days was more obvious than that of the rainfall.Decline of the light rain days was especially serious.Not only trends of summer,autumn and winter rainfalls were all negative,but also trends of the four-season rain days were all negative.Reductions of autumn rainfall and rain days were the most remarkable and the largest in magnitude.Monthly rainfall presented single-peak type distribution,and monthly rain days presented double-peak type distribution.Days of each-level precipitation within one year in each area of Zigong City were nearly consistent.Moreover,rain days decreased as magnitude increased.An obvious characteristic of the precipitation variation in Zigong City in recent 50 years was synchronal decrease of the annual rainfall and rain days.[Conclusion]In general,the natural rainfall resource in Zigong City was tending to reduce,and autumn drought was obvious. | YUAN Li-xin Zigong Meteorological Bureau in Sichuan Province,Zigong 643000,China | 2011 | Meteorological and Environmental Research2011,2,11: | 0 |
| 10 | Targeting UBE2C for degradation by bioPROTACs based on bacterial E3 ligase显示文摘UBE2C(Ubiquitin conjugating enzyme E2 C), a key regulator of cell cycle progression, is a promising target for discovery of antitumor agents. However, it is challenging to develop inhibitors of UBE2C owing to its lack of “druggable” pockets. Bio PROTACs(biological proteolysis targeting chimeras) are a kind of protein-based degraders by fusing an adaptor to a subunit of E3 ligase for ubiquitination and subsequent proteasome-dependent degradation of target protein. We report herein the design and biological evaluation of a UBE2C-targeting bio PROTAC based on the NEL(novel E3 ligase) domain of bacterial E3 ligase Ipa H9.8 and the UBE2C-binding WHB(winged-helix B) domain of APC_(2)(anaphase promoting complex subunit 2). The in vitro ubiquitination test and Mass Spectrometry analysis showed that the bio PROTAC could transfer ubiquitin to surface exposed lysines on UBE2C and catalyzed the formation of polyubiquitin chains.
