1延长奶牛使用年限的重要性显示文摘奶牛福利工作未做好,会引起疾病或繁殖问题而造成奶牛场的被动淘汰率增高,进而影响奶牛场效益。消除高被动淘汰率的主要诱因,可以提高动物福利及增加牛场收益。尽管全球奶牛养殖业的被动淘汰率都很高,但仍有一些优秀的生产者通过改进饲养管理而减少了牛场的发病率和被动淘汰率。犊牛疾病和死亡率,犊牛管理,都会影响奶牛使用年限。研究表明舍饲情况下一些主要风险因素会导致奶牛跛行、伤害和疾病,但让生产者使用这些信息是一个挑战。建立一个明确的、主导产业的奶牛福利标准,并充分利用科学的生产性能评估指标,可增强生产者知识水平、提高奶牛舒适度及降低被动淘汰率。Jeff Rushen Anne Marie de Passille 黄鸿威 邹杨 曹志军 2014中国奶牛2014,,8:4
