2CSRm Ultra-High Vacuum System显示文摘The new accelerator project (HIRFL-CSR) constructed at the Heavy Ion ResearchFacility in Lanzhou (HIRFL) is approaching completion. It is a multipurpose cooler-storage-ringsystem[1], consisting of a maim ring (CSRm), an experimental ring (CSRe) and two transferbeam lines. The UHV system of CSRm is the most representative subsystem in the project. Tominimize the beam loss due to charge exchange of the heavy ions with the residual gas molecules,the pressure of the CSRm vacuum system should reach 3.5 × 10-9 Pa (N2 equivalent) and thepressure of 8 × 10-10 Pa is expected for very heavy ion such as uranium to make its lifetime longerthan 50 s in the ring. Now, the vacuum system of CSRm has been completed and a pressure lessthan 5 × 10-10 Pa has been obtained. 6CSRm束流累积阶段闭轨校正系统设计显示文摘为测量兰州重离子加速器冷却储存环主环(CSRm)束流累积阶段的闭轨畸变并进行闭轨校正,开发了闭轨校正系统,该系统由轨道测量系统、闭轨控制系统和校正磁铁系统构成。轨道测量系统实现对束流轨道的实时监测;闭轨控制系统读取束流轨道信息,然后进行闭轨校正计算,并将计算后的校正值传输给校正磁铁系统;校正磁铁系统通过改变校正电源的值,改变校正磁铁的强度,实现对束流轨道的调整,完成闭轨校正。模拟测试结果表明,束流轨道水平方向的最大畸变由校正前的3.37mm减小为校正后的0.39mm,垂直方向的最大畸变由校正前的4.21mm减小为校正后的0.31mm。该系统能够实现响应矩阵的自动测量和束流轨道的自动校正,满足设计要求。李维凯 张玮 殷达钰 安石 2019强激光与粒子束2019,31,3:1

94-8 Dielectronic Recombination of 112Sn35+ Ions at the CSRm显示文摘The total recombination rate coefficient of Phosphorus-like 112Sn35+ have been measured at the main cooler storage ring (CSRm) employing the electron-ion merged-beams technique. 106-24 Study of Heavy-ion-stimulated Gas Desorption Rate in CSRm显示文摘There is a definite requirement of high vacuum degree in synchrotron accelerator. According to a study[1], the static LEAR vacuum pressure was about 510?12 Torr, but local pressure bumps up to 10?9 Torr occurred during continuous injection of about 108 ions/s. A dynamic pressure increase was attributed to the outgassing of vacuum equipment due to the impact of lost ions. 14Estimated Maximum Luminosity for Pellet Internal Target at CSRm显示文摘A pellet target facility with global detectors will be constructed at CSRm, Lanzhou for hadron physics research. The pellet diameter ranges from 25 to 35 μm, and thus an effective target thickness of 1015 - 1016 atoms/cm2 is expected. The number of stored particles in CSRm is estimated to be 1×109 particles per cycle with the existing accelerator(s) as the injector. With the aid of a planned booster as the injector, the maximum stored particles per cycle can be elevated to 1×1012. The revolution frequency is typically in the order of 1 MHz for the present CSRm ring with a circumference of 161.0 m. 15Pellet Target- a novel internal target at CSRm显示文摘The internal targets used in the storage ring are quite promising targets due to the well defined reaction vertex, low background and undisturbed reaction products. Light-isotope targets, such as hydrogen and deuterium, are the most favorite candidates for hadron physics study. For physical experiments, the figure of merit is usually the luminosity, and it is found that the frozen micro-spheres (called pellets) could provide a high luminosity which is comparable to that of an external target, whereas the conventional gas targets can not reach this criterion because of the heavy gas load in the reaction chamber. A global detector with nearly '4 configuration can be arranged around the pellet target. 16Lifetime Measurements of Thin Carbon Stripping Foils显示文摘Carbon stripping foil with long lifetime is very important in the proton or heavy ion accelerators with high intensity beam. At CSRm ring in Lanzhou, thin carbon foil with 1μg/cm2 or even less is also possibly used as an internal target. The carbons foils were made by carbon arc-discharge vapor-deposition technique. 18Side-effects of the space charge field introduced by a hollow electron beam in the electron cooler of CSRm显示文摘An electron cooler is used to improve the quality of the ion beam in a synchrotron;however it also introduces a nonlinear electromagnetic field to the accelerator,which causes tune shift,tune spread and may drive resonances leading to ion beam loss.In this paper the tune shift and the tune spread caused by the nonlinear electromagnetic field of a hollow electron beam is investigated,and the resonance driving terms of the nonlinear electromagnetic field are analysed.The differences are presented compared with a solid electron beam.Calculations are performed for ^(238)U^(32+) ion of energy 1.272 MeV stored in the main Cooler Storage Ring(CSRm) at the Institute of Modern Physics,Lanzhou.It is found that in this situation the nonlinear field caused by the hollow electron beam does not lead to serious resonances.汤梅堂 杨晓东 冒立军 李杰 马晓明 晏太来 郑文亨 赵贺 吴波 王耿 阮爽 沙小平 2015Chinese Physics C2015,39,12:0
19Elementary Application of Schottky Probe in CSRm Commissioning显示文摘Schottky signal analysis plays an important role in the HIRFL-CSR beam diagnostic system. The beam dynamic characteristic in the cooling storage ring is measured with the schottky probes.
