Effects of IAA and ABA on the Immature Peach Fruit Development Process显示文摘Peach(Prunus persica cv. Dajiubao) was chosen as a model to clarify the roles of IAA and ABA during the fruit ripening process. Seventy days after flowering(DAF), the fruits were treated with IAA and ABA(0.1 mmol·L-1 and 1 mmol·L-1, respectively) and with the IAA transporter inhibitor(NPA) and the ABA biosynthesis inhibitor(NDGA). IAA decreased the fruit ABA concentration, and increased ethylene concentration, leading to fruit(70 DAF) softening and coloration. NPA had the opposite effect. ABA decreased IAA and ethylene concentrations, leading to fruit hardness and lack of color. NDGA had similar effects as with IAA application. A q PCR analysis indicated that in immature fruits, the expression levels of ethylene biosynthesis and signaling genes(PpACS, PpACO, PpETR, PpERF2), anthocyanin biosynthesis genes(PpCHS, PpDFR, PpF3 H, PpUFGT), cell wall softening genes(PpEXP1, PpEXP2, PpPG2, PpPME), and auxin biosynthesis genes(PpPIN, PpTIR1) were upregulated by IAA application but were inhibited by NPA. In contrast, these ripening-related genes were downregulated by ABA application, but upregulated by NDGA. Generally, the immature fruit ripening process requires a high IAA concentration to generate a large amount of ethylene. ABA appeared to modulate ripening through interference not only with ethylene and cell wall related genes but also with auxin-related genes. | Nana Liu | 2019 | Horticultural Plant Journal2019,5,4: | 13
Invasion, expansion, and control of Bactrocera dorsalis(Hendel) in China显示文摘The Oriental fruit fly, Bactrocera dorsalis(Hendel), is among the most destructive fruit/vegetable-eating agricultural pests in the world, particularly in Asian countries such as China. Because of its widespread distribution, invasive ability, pest status, and economic losses to fruit and vegetable crops, this insect species is viewed as an organism warranting severe quarantine restrictions by many countries in the world. To understand the characteristics and potential for expansion of this pest, this article assembled current knowledge on the occurrence and comprehensive control of the Oriental fruit fly in China concerning the following key aspects: invasion and expansion process, biological and ecological characteristics, dynamic monitoring, chemical ecology, function of symbionts, mechanism of insecticide resistance, control index, and comprehensive control and countermeasures. Some suggestions for the further control and study of this pest are also proposed. | LIU Huan ZHANG Dong-ju XU Yi-juan WANG Lei CHENG Dai-feng QI Yi-xiang ZENG Ling LU Yong-yue | 2019 | Journal of Integrative Agriculture2019,18,4: | 11

The chemical treatments combined with antagonistic yeast control anthracnose and maintain the quality of postharvest mango fruit显示文摘During the storage and transportation of the mango fruit, the major source of disease is anthracnose, caused by the fungus Colletotrichum gloeosporioides. The objective of this study is to find an appropriate method that not only reduces mango decay but also maintains its postharvest quality. The effects of chemicals, the use of the yeast species Metschnikowia pulcherrima and their combination on storage quality, focusing on the enzyme activity related to disease of Tainong mangos was studied. By immersing the mangoes in M. pulcherrima suspension(1.0×10~8 cfu mL^(–1)), salicylic acid(SA) solution(50 mg L^(–1)) or calcium chloride(CaCl_2) solution(1.0 g L^(–1)), the lesion expansion and decay of the mango fruit caused by C. gloeosporioides could be significantly delayed. These treatments also delayed the changes in quality traits(a~* value, firmness, contents of total soluble solids(TSS) and vitamin C(Vc), while the activities of anti-disease enzymes such as polyphenol oxidase(PPO), phenylalanine ammonia lyase(PAL), chitinase(CHT) and β-1,3-glucanase(GUN) were enhanced as compared to the control treatment. Furthermore, the combination of SA solution, CaCl_2 solution and M. pulcherrima suspension presented an additive effect, increasing the efficacy in controlling the disease and maintaining the storage quality of mango fruits. Taken together, our data suggest that the integration of chemical treatments combined with M. pulcherrima could be an alternative to the use of fungicides in postharvest treatment of the mango fruit, specifically for improving storage quality as well as the control of the anthracnose. | SHAO Yuan-zhi ZENG Jiao-ke TANG Hong ZHOU Yi LI Wen | 2019 | Journal of Integrative Agriculture2019,18,5: | 8
Simultaneous Determination of Plant Growth Regulators in Fruits Using a Modified Qu ECh ERS Procedure and UPLC–MS/MS显示文摘Six plant growth regulators frequently used in fruit were detected using UPLC–MS/MS including chlormequat chloride, GA3, forchlorfenuron, paclobutrazol, thidiazuron and 2,4-D. A modified Qu ECh ERS method was used in pretreatment: each compound was extracted with acetonitrile containing 1% acetic acid and cleaned with a mixture of ostade-cylsilane(ODS) and Mg SO_4. The detection was performed using electrospray ionization(ESI) and multiple reaction monitoring mode(MRM) and quantified using the external standard method. Results indicated that the calibration curves of six plant growth regulators were linear within the range of 1–100 μg·kg^(-1) with correlation coefficients over 0.999. The recovery at four spiked concentrations, 1, 20, 50, and 100 μg·kg^(-1), ranged from 60.77% to 119.43% and relative standard deviation(RSD) were between 0.18% and 32.94%. The limits of detection(LOD) and limits of quantitation(LOQ) were 0.01–0.14 μg·kg^(-1) and 0.02–0.46 μg·kg^(-1), respectively, for apples, 0.01–0.18 μg·kg^(-1) and 0.03–0.59 μg·kg^(-1) for grapes, 0.01–0.08 μg·kg^(-1) and 0.04–0.28 μg·kg^(-1) for kiwis, 0.003–0.110 μg·kg^(-1) and 0.01–0.38 μg·kg^(-1) for peaches, and 0.01–0.08 μg·kg^(-1) and 0.03–0.25 μg·kg^(-1) for oranges. | YAN Zhen NIE Jiyun XU Guofeng LI Haifei LI Jing LI Zhixia WU Yonglong KUANG Lixue | 2016 | Horticultural Plant Journal2016,2,4: | 8
Fruit and vegetable consumption, cardiovascular disease, and all-cause mortality in China显示文摘Evidence about the response patterns of fruit and vegetable consumption with the risk of cardiovascular disease(CVD)and allcause mortality was inconsistent. These associations were examined using a large-scale,population-based Chinese cohort comprising 100,728 participants.A food-frequency questionnaire was used to assess fruit and vegetable consumption.Outcomes were ascertained by interviewing individuals or their proxies and checking hospital records or death certificates.Cox proportional hazards regression was used to calculate hazard ratios(HRs)with 95% confidence intervals(CIs).At the 736,668 person-years of follow-up,3,677 CVD cases and 5,466 deaths were identified. The multivariable-adjusted HRs for CVD across increasing quartiles of total fruit and vegetable consumption were 1(reference),0.94(95%CI=0.85-1.04),0.89(95%CI=0.80-0.98),and 0.85(95%CI=0.77-0.95).Moreover,participants in the highest quartile displayed a 13% lower risk of all-cause mortality(HR=0.87;95%CI=0.80-0.95).A nonlinear dose-response relation was found for CVD,without additional benefits beyond a consumption of600 g d-1,whereas the all-cause mortality risk decreased along with higher consumption, with a linear trend. These associations remained significant for fruit consumption but not for vegetable consumption. Our findings indicated that greater fruit and vegetable consumption was significantly associated with a lower risk of CVD and all-cause mortality.Increasing fruit and vegetable consumption, especially fruit,in the general population would prevent CVD and premature mortality. | Jun Wang Fangchao Liu Jianxin Li Keyong Huang Xueli Yang Jichun Chen Xiaoqing Liu Jie Cao Shufeng Chen Chong Shen Ling Yu Fanghong Lu Xianping Wu Liancheng Zhao Ying Li Dongsheng Hu Jianfeng Huang Dongfeng Gu Xiangfeng Lu | 2022 | Science China(Life Sciences)2022,65,1: | 8
Dynamic characteristics of dwarf Chinese hickory trees under impact excitations for mechanical fruit harvesting显示文摘Mechanical vibration is an effective fruit harvesting method. To evaluate the dynamic characteristics of dwarf Chinese hickory(Carya cathayensis Sarg.)trees and the influence of the tree structure on transmission and attenuation of dynamic response,a new method was proposed based on acceleration admittance measurement on dwarf Chinese hickory trees in orchard environment under impact excitation. The primary resonance frequencies of the tree can be determined based on the acceleration admittance measurement. The effect of the tree structure on the vibratory transmission was quantified using the attenuation ratio of the acceleration admittance.A 5-year-old dwarf Chinese hickory tree sample was tested. The responses at three resonance frequencies(5,9 and 12 Hz)were analyzed because they were identified as the most effective bands of excitation for the main part of the tree specimen. The results reveal that the variation of the dynamic response along the testing tree is greatly related to the Chinese hickory tree structure. The attenuation ratio of the acceleration admittance at the branch crotches indicates the leader top crotch may amplify the acceleration admittance no matter what the crotch angle and the branch diameter is.Unlike the crotches, the branch chain nodes generally have negative influence on the acceleration admittance along the branch chains which heavily depend on the branch chain configuration. The branch chains with a chain angle no less than 150°and a wood diameter ratio close to 1.0 could produce little influence on the vibration transmission. For those branches with chain angle less than 150°,the vibration was generally attenuated at their chain nodes at three resonance frequencies. To impose impact excitations on the tree, high mechanical harvesting efficiency could be achieved on those branch chains which are almost straight and uniform. | Du Xiaoqiang Wu Chuanyu He Leiying Tong Junhua | 2015 | International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2015,8,1: | 8

Effects of different color paper bags on aroma development of Kyoho grape berries显示文摘This study investigated the influence of red, green, blue, and white paper bags on the free volatile compound development of Kyoho grape berries from green to harvest.Seven functional groups of volatiles were identified during the development of Kyoho grape berries including esters, aldehydes, alcohols, terpenes, ketones, acids, and hydrocarbons.Esters and aldehydes were abundant in Kyoho grape berries, mainly represented by ethyl acetate, ethyl butyrate,and(E)-2-hexenal.They accumulated quickly after veraison and slightly decreased toward maturation.Red,green, blue, and white paper bags promoted the accumulation of esters and inhibited the accumulation of aldehydes, also inhibited the accumulation of alcohols, tepenes, ketones, and acids.Their effect from strong to weak was green, blue, red, and white paper bags. The expression profiles of genes in the lipoxygenase-hydroperoxide lyase(LOX-HPL) pathway were also analyzed and the results indicated that the regulation of red, green, blue, and white paper bags on aldehydes, alcohols, and esters volatile aromas was at transcriptional level. The results expanded our comprehension in grape aroma biosynthesis and berry bagging technique in table grape cultivation. | JI Xiao-hao WANG Bao-liang WANG Xiao-di SHI Xiang-bin LIU Pei-pei LIU Feng-zhi WANG Hai-bo | 2019 | Journal of Integrative Agriculture2019,18,1: | 7
Kiwifruit Genome Database(KGD):a comprehensive resource for kiwifruit genomics显示文摘Kiwifruit(Actinidia spp.)plants produce economically important fruits containing abundant, balanced phytonutrients with extraordinarily high vitamin C contents.Since the release of the first kiwifruit reference genome sequence in 2013,large volumes of genome and transcriptome data have been rapidly accumulated for a handful of kiwifruit species. To efficiently store, analyze, integrate, and disseminate these large-scale datasets to the research community,we constructed the Kiwifruit Genome Database(KGD;http://kiwifruitgenome.org/).The database currently contains all publicly available genome and gene sequences, gene annotations, biochemical pathways, transcriptome profiles derived from public RNA-Seq datasets, and comparative genomic analysis results such as syntenic blocks and homologous gene pairs between different kiwifruit genome assemblies.A set of user-friendly query interfaces, analysis tools and visualization modules have been implemented in KGD to facilitate translational and applied research in kiwifruit, which include JBrowse,a popular genome browser, and the NCBI BLAST sequence search tool.Other notable tools developed within KGD include a genome synteny viewer and tools for differential gene expression analysis as well as gene ontology(GO)term and pathway enrichment analysis. | Junyang Yue Jiacheng Liu Wei Tang Ya Qing Wu Xiaofeng Tang Wei Li Ying Yang Lihuan Wang Shengxiong Huang Congbing Fang Kun Zhao Zhangjun Fei Yongsheng Liu Yi Zheng | 2020 | Horticulture Research2020,7,1: | 6
Role of pomegranate and citrus fruit juices in colon cancer prevention显示文摘Colorectal cancer is the second leading cause of cancer-related deaths in the United States.Recent studies prove that though chemotherapeutic agents are being used for the treatment of colon cancer, they become non-effective when the cancer progresses to an invasive stage.Since consumption of certain dietary agents has been linked with various cancers, fruit juices have been investigated for their consistently protective effect against colon cancer. The unique biochemical composition of fruit juices is responsible for their anticancer properties. In this review, the chemo-preventive effect of fruit juices such as pomegranate and citrus juices against colon cancer are discussed. For this purpose, the bioavailability,in vitro and in vivo effects of these fruit juices on colorectal cancer are highlighted. Moreover, there is a scarcity of studies involving human trials to estimate the preventive nature of these juices against colon cancer. This review will support the need for more preclinical tests with these crude juices and their constituents in different colorectal cancer cell lines and also some epidemiological studies in order to have a better understanding and promote pomegranate and citrus juices as crusaders against colon cancer. | Saravana Kumar Jaganathan Muthu Vignesh Vellayappan Gayathri Narasimhan Eko Supriyanto | 2014 | World Journal of Gastroenterology2014,20,16: | 6
Expression of ipt gene driven by tomato fruit specific promoter and its effects on fruit development of tomato显示文摘Fruit specific promoter (2A12) from Lycopersi-com esculentum and cDNA of isopentenyl-transferase (ipt) from Ti plasmid of Agrobacterium tumerfaciens C58 were cloned by PCR procedure respectively. Two plant expression vectors with 2A12/gus or 2A12/ipt were respectively constructed. These two chimeric genes were transferred into tomato by Agrobacterium mediated procedure. The results of Southern hybridization showed that the fusion genes had been integrated into tomatoes. The result of gus histochemi-cal staining showed that 2A12 had high fruit specific expressive capability in transgenic tomato. The ipt expression resulted in accumulation of high level of cytokinins (CTKs) in fruit lead to developmental changes in fruits and seeds. The fruit of ipt transformed tomato had the hyperplastic placenta with very few seeds or even seedless. The shelf life of transgenic fruits elongated for 1-2 weeks. | 14 | Combined genomic, transcriptomic, and metabolomic an alyses provide in sights into chayote (Sechium edule) evolution and fruit development显示文摘Chayote(Sechium edule)is an agricultural crop in the Cucurbitaceae family that is rich in bioactive components. To enhance genetic research on chayote,we used Nanopore third-generation sequencing combined with Hi-C data to assemble a draft chayote genome.A chromosome-level assembly anchored on 14 chromosomes(N50 contig and scaffold sizes of 8.40 and 46.56 Mb,respectively)estimated the genome size as 606.42 Mb,which is large for the Cucurbitaceae, with 65.94%(401.08 Mb)ofthe genome comprising repetitive sequences;28,237 protein-coding genes were predicted.Comparative genome analysis indicated that chayote and snake gourd diverged from sponge gourd and that a whole-genome duplication(WGD)event occurred in chayote at 25±4 Mya.Transcriptional and metabolic analysis revealed genes involved in fruit texture, pigment,fl avor,fl avonoids, antioxidants, and plant hormones during chayote fruit development. The analysis of the genome, transcriptome, and metabolome provides insights into chayote evolution and lays the groundwork for future research on fruit and tuber development and genetic improvements in chayote. | Anzhen Fu Qing Wang Jianlou Mu Lili Ma Changlong Wen Xiaoyan Zhao Lipu Gao Jian Li Kai Shi Yunxiang Wang Xuechuan Zhang Xuewen Zhang Fengling Wang Donald Grierson Jinhua Zuo | 2021 | Horticulture Research2021,8,1: | 6
PbGA2ox8 induces vascular-related anthocyanin accumulation and contributes to red stripe formation on pear fruit显示文摘Fruit with stripes, which are generally longitudinal, can occur naturally, but the bioprocesses underlying this phenomenon are unclear.Previously,we observed an atypical anthocyanin distribution that caused red-striped fruit on the spontaneous pear bud sport“Red Zaosu”(Pyrus bretschneideri Rehd.).In this study, comparative transcriptome analysis of the sport and wild-type“Zaosu”revealed that this atypical anthocyanin accumulation was tightly correlated with abnormal overexpression of the gene-encoding gibberellin(GA)2-beta-dioxygenase 8,PbGA2ox8.Consistently,decreased methylation was also observed in the promoter region of PbGA2ox8 from“Red Zaosu”compared with“Zaosu”.Moreover, the GA levels in“Red Zaosu”seedlings were lower than those in“Zaosu”seedlings, and the application of exogenous GA4 reduced abnormal anthocyanin accumulation in“Red Zaosu”.Transient overexpression of PbGA2ox8 reduced the GA4 level and caused anthocyanin accumulation in pear fruit skin. Moreover, the presence of red stripes indicated anthocyanin accumulation in the hypanthial epidermal layer near vascular branches(VBs)in“Red Zaosu”.Transient overexpression of PbGA2ox8 resulting from vacuum infiltration induced anthocyanin accumulation preferentially in calcium-enriched areas near the vascular bundles in pear leaves. We propose a fruit-striping mechanism,in which the abnormal overexpression of PbGA2ox8 in“Red Zaosu”induces the formation of a longitudinal array of anthocyanin stripes near vascular bundles in fruit. | Rui Zhai Zhigang Wang Chengquan Yang Kui Lin-Wang Richard Espley Jianlong Liu Xieyu Li Zhongying Wu Pengmin Li Qingmei Guan Fengwang Ma Lingfei Xu | 2019 | Horticulture Research2019,6,1: | 5
Isolation of the promoter of a cotton β-galactosidase gene (GhGal1) and its expression in transgenic tobacco plants显示文摘β-galactosidases (EC 3.2.1.23) constitute a widespread family of glycosyl hydrolases in plants and are thought to be involved in metabolism of cell wall polysaccharides. A cDNA of the cotton (Gossypium hirsutum) β-galactosidase gene, designated GhGal1, has previously been identified and its transcripts are highly abundant at the elongation stage of the cotton fiber. To examine the temporal and spatial control of GhGal1 expression, a transcriptional fusion of the GhGal1 promoter region (1770 bp) with the β-glucuronidase (GUS) reporter gene was introduced into tobacco plants by the Agrobacterium infection method. The resulting transgenic plants showed higher GUS activity of fruit in the transgenic plants than that in the negative and positive controls. Histochemical localization of GUS activity demonstrated that the expression of the GUS gene could be found in the meristem zones of roots, cotyledons, vascular tissues, fruit and trichomes in transgenic tobacco plants. Additionally, se-quence analysis of the regulatory region also revealed several conserved motifs among which some were shared with previously reported fruit/seed-specific elements and the others were related with trichome expression. These results indicated the temporal and spatial expression characterization of the GhGal1 promoter in transgenic tobacco plants and provided an important insight into the roles of GhGal1 in cotton fiber development. | WU Aimin LIU Jinyuan | 2006 | Science China(Life Sciences)2006,49,2: | 5
Difference of a citrus late-ripening mutant (Citrus sinensis) from its parental line in sugar and acid metabolism at the fruit ripening stage显示文摘‘Fengjiewancheng’(FW) (Citrus sinensis), a bud sport of‘Fengjie 72-1’navel orange (FJ), ripens one month later than its parental line. Differences in sugar and acid content and the transcript level of su-crose- and citric-metabolic enzymes for the two cultivars were investigated during fruit ripening. Re-sults showed that both sugar and acid metabolisms of the mutant were affected by the mutation. In the pulp of FW, sugar content was significantly lower than that in FJ before 227 DAF (days after flowering) and higher at 263 DAF; the mutant’s gene expression of one isoform of citrus sucrose synthase (CitSS1) was delayed, and its gene expression of citrus acid invertase (CitAI) was stronger than that in its pa-rental cultivars at 207 and 263 DAF. In the peel, only the sucrose content in FW was significantly lower than those in FJ at the early periods of fruit ripening (165 and 187 DAF); however the transcripts of the sucrose-cleaving enzymes in the mutant were higher than those in FJ at different ripening points. As regards acid accumulation in the two cultivars, it was observed that in the pulp of the mutant, the malic acid content was significantly lower than that in its parental cultivars from 187 to 263 DAF, and in the peel, remarkably higher during the whole fruit ripening period. The citric acid content in both the pulp and the peel of FW was higher than that in those of FJ during the early ripening period and lower during the late ripening period, which were correspondingly associated in part with the higher transcript level of citrus mitochondrial citrate synthase (CitCS) and with lower or undetectable transcript level of citrus cytosolic aconitase (CitAC). Hence, it could be concluded that the mutation in FW affected sugar and acid metabolism, which might be related with other late-ripening phenotypes. | LIU YongZhong, LIU Qing, XIONG JingJing & DENG XiuXin National Key Laboratory of Crop Genetic Improvement College of Horticulture and Forestry Science, Huazhong Agricultural Uni-versity, Wuhan 430070, China | 2007 | Science China(Life Sciences)2007,50,4: | 5
Effect of Nitrogen on Apple Fruit Development in Different Loads显示文摘The experiments including soil application N, thinning and priming leaf treatment, using eight -year-old apple trees (M. domestica Borkh. cv. Red Fuji/M. hupenensis Rhed) as materials were carried out to study the effect of N on fruit development. The main results were as follows: on heavily thinned trees, SS activity was independent of N and priming leaves treatments. The results show that the carbohydrate restriction of source to sink activity did not exist, and N application did not stimulate fruit growth rates relative to those on nonfertilized trees; however, N fertilization resulted in a longer fruit development period and increased the growth potential of individual fruit by 20.8% (fresh weight) and 14.1% (dry weight) vs. controls; in unthinned trees, SS activity was increased by N fertilization but decreased by priming leaves treatment, so the carbohydrate restriction of source to sink activity existed, N fertilization increased the average single fruit weight both by extending the fruit development period and by increasing fruit growth rate, and the increasing rates were 28.2% (fresh weight) and 19.4 % (dry weight) compared to the unthinned nonfertilized controls. Fruit soluble sugar and pericarp anthocyanin concentration was decreased by N fertilization. | PENG Fu-tian, JIANG Yuan-mao, GU Man-ru and SHU Huai-rui( Department of Horticulture, Shandong Agricultural University, Taian 271018 , P.R. | 19 | Data-Driven Anomaly Diagnosis for Machining Processes显示文摘To achieve zero-defect production during computer numerical control(CNC)machining processes,it is imperative to develop effective diagnosis systems to detect anomalies efficiently. However, due to the dynamic conditions of the machine and tooling during machining processes, the relevant diagnosis systems currently adopted in industries are incompetent. To address this issue, this paper presents a novel data-driven diagnosis system for anomalies. In this system, power data for condition monitoring are continuously collected during dynamic machining processes to support online diagnosis analysis. To facilitate the analysis, preprocessing mechanisms have been designed to de-noise,normalize,and align the monitored data.Important features are extracted from the monitored data and thresholds are defined to identify anomalies.Considering the dynamic conditions of the machine and tooling during machining processes, the thresholds used to identify anomalies can vary.Based on historical data, the values of thresholds are optimized using a fruit fly optimization(FFO)algorithm to achieve more accurate detection.Practical case studies were used to validate the system, thereby demonstrating the potential and effectiveness of the system for industrial applications. | Y.C.Liang S.Wang W.D.Li X.Lu | 2019 | Engineering2019,5,4: | 5
PpERF3 positively regulates ABA biosynthesis by activating PpNCED2/3 transcription during fruit ripening in peach显示文摘The plant hormone ethylene regulates ripening in climacteric fruits. The phytohormone abscisic acid(ABA)affects ethylene biosynthesis, but whether ethylene influences ABA biosynthesis is unknown. To explore this possibility,we investigated the interactions between the ABA biosynthesis genes PpNCED2/3 and the ethylene response transcription factor PpERF3 in peach fruit. The ABA content increased during fruit maturation and reached a peak at stage S4 III.The increase was greatly inhibited by the ethylene inhibitor 1-MCP,which also suppressed PpERF3 expression.PpERF3 shared a similar expression profile with PpNCED2/3,encoding a rate-limiting enzyme involved in ABA biosynthesis, during fruit ripening.A yeast one-hybrid assay suggested that the nuclear-localized PpERF3 might bind to the promoters of PpNCED2/3.PpERF3 increased the expression of PpNCED2/3 as shown by dual-luciferase reporters,promoter-GUS assays and transient expression analyses in peach fruit.Collectively, these results suggest that ethylene promotes ABA biosynthesis through PpERF3’s regulation of the expression of ABA biosynthesis genes PpNCED2/3. | Xiaobei Wang Wenfang Zeng Yifeng Ding Yan Wang Liang Niu Jia-Long Yao Lei Pan Zhenhua Lu Guochao Cui Guohuai Li Zhiqiang Wang | 2019 | Horticulture Research2019,6,1: | 5
