| 1 | Comprehensive metabolomics expands precision medicine for triple-negative breast cancer显示文摘Metabolic reprogramming is a hallmark of cancer.However,systematic characterizations of metabolites in triple-negative breast cancer(TNBC)are still lacking.Our study profiled the polar metabolome and lipidome in 330 TNBC samples and 149 paired normal breast tissues to construct a large metabolomic atlas of TNBC.Combining with previously established transcriptomic and genomic data of the same cohort,we conducted a comprehensive analysis linking TNBC metabolome to genomics.Our study classified TNBCs into three distinct metabolomic subgroups:C1,characterized by the enrichment of ceramides and fatty acids;C2,featured with the upregulation of metabolites related to oxidation reaction and glycosyl transfer;and C3,having the lowest level of metabolic dysregulation.Based on this newly developed metabolomic dataset,we refined previous TNBC transcriptomic subtypes and identified some crucial subtype-specific metabolites as potential therapeutic targets.The transcriptomic luminal androgen receptor(LAR)subtype overlapped with metabolomic C1 subtype.Experiments on patient-derived organoid and xenograft models indicate that targeting sphingosine-1-phosphate(S1P),an intermediate of the ceramide pathway,is a promising therapy for LAR tumors.Moreover,the transcriptomic basal-like immune-suppressed(BLIS)subtype contained two prognostic metabolomic subgroups(C2 and C3),which could be distinguished through machine-learning methods.We show that N-acetyl-aspartyl-glutamate is a crucial tumor-promoting metabolite and potential therapeutic target for high-risk BLIS tumors.Together,our study reveals the clinical significance of TNBC metabolomics,which can not only optimize the transcriptomic subtyping system,but also suggest novel therapeutic targets.This metabolomic dataset can serve as a useful public resource to promote precision treatment of TNBC. | Yi Xiao Ding Ma Yun-Song Yang Fan Yang Jia-Han Ding Yue Gong Lin Jiang Li-Ping Ge Song-Yang Wu Qiang Yu Qing Zhang François Bertucci Qiuzhuang Sun Xin Hu Da-Qiang Li Zhi-Ming Shao Yi-Zhou Jiang | 2022 | Cell Research2022,32,5: | 18 |

| 13 | Characterization of Modified Tapioca Starch in Atmospheric Argon Plasma under Diverse Humidity by FTIR Spectroscopy显示文摘Tapioca is economical crop grown in Thailand and continues to be one of the major sources of starch.Nowadays,tapioca starch has been widely used in industrial applications,however the native form of starch has limited the applications.Thus scientists try to modify the properties of starch for increasing the stability of the granules,pastes to low pH,heat,and shear during the food process.We modify the tapioca starch by plasma treatment under an argon atmosphere.The degree of modification is determined by following water content in the starch granules.The tablet samples of native starch are also prepared and compared with the plasma treated starch.Before plasma treatment,the starch tablets are stored under three different relative humilities(RH)including 11%,68%,and 78%RH,respectively.The samples are characterized using FTIR spectroscopy associated with the degree of cross-linking.The results show that the water molecules are engulfed into the starch structure in two ways,a tight bond and a weak absorption of water molecules which is represented at two wave number of 1630 cm^(-1) and 3272 cm^(-1),respectively.The degree of cross-linking can be identified from the relative intensity of these two peaks with the C–O–H peak at 993 cm^(-1).The results show that the degree of cross-linking increase in the plasma treated starch.The degree of cross-linking of the treated starch with high relative humidity is less than that of the treated starch with low relative humidity. | P.Deeyai M.Suphantharika R.Wongsagonsup S.Dangtip | 2013 | Chinese Physics Letters2013,30,1: | 2 |

| 15 | Solar-Driven Producing of Value-Added Chemicals with Organic Semiconductor-Bacteria Biohybrid System显示文摘Photosynthetic biohybrid systems exhibit promising performance in biosynthesis;however,these systems can only produce a single metabolite and cannot further transform carbon sources into highly valuable chemical production.Herein,a photosynthetic biohybrid system integrating biological and chemical cascade synthesis was developed for solar-driven conversion of glucose to value-added chemicals.A new ternary cooperative biohybrid system,namely bacterial factory,was constructed by self-assembling of enzyme-modified light-harvesting donor-acceptor conjugated polymer nanoparticles(D-A CPNs)and genetically engineered Escherichia coli(E.coli).The D-A CPNs coating on E.coli could effectively generate electrons under light irradiation,which were transferred into E.coli to promote the 37%increment of threonine production by increasing the ratio of nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide phosphate(NADPH).Subsequently,the metabolized threonine was catalyzed by threonine deaminase covalently linking with D-A CPNs to obtain 2-oxobutyrate,which is an important precursor of drugs and chemicals.The 2-oxobutyrate yield under light irradiation is increased by 58%in comparison to that in dark.This work provides a new organic semiconductor-microorganism photosynthetic biohybrid system for biological and chemical cascade synthesis of highly valuable chemicals by taking advantage of renewable carbon sources and solar energy. | Wen Yu Haotian Bai Yue Zeng Hao Zhao Shengpeng Xia Yiming Huang Fengting Lv Shu Wang | 2022 | Research2022,,3: | 2 |

| 19 | Linking China's emissions trading pilot schemes显示文摘All seven emissions trading pilots in China operate independently.One challenge facing most of them is the low inclusion thresholds for enterprises and the few total covered emissions,which negatively influences the effects of the emissions trading systems(ETSs).Some pilot sites,such as Guangdong,Hubei,Tianjin and Beijing,have indicated their willingness to link their schemes with others.ETS linking could expand scheme coverages and therefore help to reduce the overall costs of achieving the linked schemes' emissions control targets.Linking could also help to address the issues of carbon leakage and reduce price fluctuations.The potential benefits and feasibility of linking different pilot systems are analyzed in this article.The seven pilot regions are at different stages of social and economic development,with significant differences in total emissions and emissions structures as well as carbon abatement potentials and costs.Through linking,more-developed regions such as Beijing,Shanghai and Shenzhen,which are typically considered to face higher mitigation costs,will have the opportunity to achieve their emissions control targets by purchasing carbon units from less-developed regions,which will earn financial revenues from selling the units.To realize this win-win result,a series of policy and technical barriers at both the central government and pilot government levels needs to be overcome.Establishing a unified national emissions trading market would appear to be the ideal solution to these challenges,but it will take considerable time and will not be the short-term solution.In the absence of a unified national scheme,it is recommended that the central government encourage pilot schemes to link,that it develops corresponding national policies to support the linking efforts and that the pilot schemes that are intended to be linked coordinate on certain design elements.Based on the coordinating need,the major elements of an ETS can be divided into four categories:elements that need mutual recognition(cap setting and allowance allocation methods);elements that should be completely identical(compliance mechanisms,price containment measures,banking and borrowing rules,and offset mechanisms);technical elements that are preferably identical and easy to coordinate(MRV standards,technical registry standards);and elements that require no coordination(coverages and scopes). | Tao Pang Li Zhou Maosheng Duan | 2015 | Chinese Journal of Population,Resources and Environment2015,13,3: | 1 |
