2腰椎后路椎间融合术后椎间融合的X线片及三维CT评价显示文摘目的 探讨X线片和三维CT(3D-CT)在判定单节段后路腰椎椎间融合术后椎间融合情况的临床价值.方法 选取接受后路腰椎椎间融合术并随访1年以上的患者43例,男19例,女24例;年龄16~74岁,平均47.2岁.峡部裂性滑脱21例,退变性滑脱15例,腰椎间盘突出并不稳症3例,腰椎间盘突出症复发3例,极外侧椎间盘突出症1例.单纯骨粒植骨26例,骨粒加椎间融合器17例.单节段内固定24例,双节段内固定19例.均为单节段椎间融合,其中L3,4,6例,L4,5,17例,L5 S1 20例.应用改良Brantigan评分判定腰椎正侧位X线片及3D-CT扫描所示椎间融合程度;动力位X线片判断椎间稳定性.结果 随访12~85个月,平均18个月.末次随访时X线片及3D-CT所示椎间融合率分别为64%(28/43例)和40%(17/43例).3D-CT的Brantigan评分小于正侧位X线片(P<0.05).根据诊断、固定节段及融合方式不同分组,各组3D-CT评分均低于正侧位X线片(P<0.05).动力位X线片示椎间不稳定者仅3例(7%).结论 腰椎3D-CT能更准确地评价椎间融合情况.拆除内固定前进行3D-CT检查非常必要.拆除内固定前摄动力位X线片对判定椎体间融合的临床意义不大.郑燕平 刘新宇 贾龙 王延国 黎君彦 2009中华骨科杂志2009,29,12:22
3Review on photocatalytic and electrocatalytic artificial nitrogen fixation for ammonia synthesis at mild conditions: Advances,challenges and perspectives显示文摘The ammonia synthesis from nitrogen and water under ambient conditions is one of the most inviting but challenging reaction routes.Although nitrogen is abundant in the atmosphere and the ammonia synthesis reaction is exothermic on the thermodynamics,the conversion of N2 to ammonia is actually hard to proceed owing to the chemical inertness and stability of N2 molecules.In industry,ammonia synthesis is carried out by the Haber-Bosch process under harsh conditions (300-500 ℃,20-30 MPa) associated with the requirement of substantial energy input and the enormous emission of greenhouse gases (e.g.,CO2).Recently,a growing number of studies on photo(electro)catalytic and electrocatalytic nitrogen reduction reaction (NRR) in aqueous solution have attracted extensive attention,which holds great promise for nitrogen fixation under room temperature and atmospheric pressure.However,the very low efficiency and ambiguous mechanism still remain as the major hurdles for the development of photochemical and electrochemical NRR systems.Here we provide an overview of the latest progresses,remaining challenges and future prospects in photocatalytic and electrocatalytic nitrogen fixation.Moreover,this review offers a helpful guidance for the reasonable design of photocatalysts and electrocatalysts towards NRR by combining theory predictions and experiment results.We hope this review can stimulate more research interests in the relatively understudied but highly promising research field of NRR.Xiaolan Xue Renpeng Chen Changzeng Yan Peiyang Zhao Yi Hu Wenjun Zhang Songyuan Yang Zhong Jin 2019Nano Research2019,12,6:20
4A Chromosome-Scale Genome Assembly of Paper Mulberry(Bmussonetia papyrifera)Provides New Insights into Its Forage and Papermaking Usage显示文摘Paper mulberry(Broussonetia papyrifera)is a well-known woody tree historically used for Cai Lun papermaking,one of the four great inventions of ancient China.More recently,Paper mulberry has also been used as forage to address the shortage of feedstuff because of its digestible crude fiber and high protein contents.In this study,we obtained a chromosome-scale genome assembly for Paper mulberry using integrated approaches,including Illumina and PacBio sequencing platform as well as Hi-C,optical,and genetic maps.The assembled Paper mulberry genome consists of 386.83 Mb,which is close to the estimated size,and 99.25%(383.93 Mb)of the assembly was assigned to 13 pseudochromosomes.Comparative genomic analysis revealed the expansion and contraction in the flavonoid and lignin biosynthetic gene families,respectively,accounting for the enhanced flavonoid and decreased lignin biosynthesis in Paper mulberry.Moreover,the increased ratio of syringyl-lignin to guaiacyl-lignin in Paper mulberry underscores its suitability for use in medicine,forage,papermaking,and barkcloth making.We also identified the rootassociated microbiota of Paper mulberry and found that Pseudomonas and Rhizobia were enriched in its roots and may provide the source of nitrogen for its stems and leaves via symbiotic nitrogen fixation.Collectively,these results suggest that Paper mulberry might have undergone adaptive evolution and recruited nitrogen-fixing microbes to promote growth by enhancing flavonoid production and altering lignin monomer composition.Our study provides significant insights into genetic basis of the usefulness of Paper mulberry in papermaking and barkcloth making,and as forage.These insights will facilitate further domestication and selection as well as industrial utilization of Paper mulberry worldwide.Xianjun Peng Hui Liu Peilin Chen Feng Tang Yanmin Hu Fenfen Wang Zhi Pi Meiling Zhao Naizhi Chen Hui Chen Xiaokang Zhang Xueqing Yan Min Liu Xiaojun Fu Guofeng Zhao Pu Yao Lili Wang He Dai Xuming Li Wei Xiong Wencai Xu Hongkun Zheng Haiyan Yu Shihua Shen 2019Molecular Plant2019,12,5:18
5Damage control orthopaedics: State of the art显示文摘Damage control orthopaedics(DCO) originally consisted of the provisional immobilisation of long bone-mainly femur-fractures in order to achieve the advantages of early treatment and to minimise the risk of complications, such as major pain, fat embolism, clotting, pathological inflammatory response, severe haemorrhage triggering the lethal triad, and the traumatic effects of major surgery on a patient who is already traumatised(the 'second hit' effect). In recent years, new locations have been added to the DCO concept, such as injuries to the pelvis, spine and upper limbs. Nonetheless, this concept has not yet been validated in well-designed prospective studies, and much controversy remains.Indeed, some researchers believe the indiscriminate application of DCO might be harmful and produce substantial and unnecessary expense. In this respect, too,normalised parameters associated with the acid-base system have been proposed,under a concept termed early appropriate care, in the view that this would enable patients to receive major surgical procedures in an approach offering the advantages of early total care together with the apparent safety of DCO. 6Total knee arthroplasty and fractures of the tibial plateau显示文摘Tibial plateau fractures are common injuries that occur in a bimodal age distribution. While there are various treatment options for displaced tibial plateau fractures, the standard of care is open reduction and internal fixation(ORIF). In physiologically young patients with higher demand and better bone quality, ORIF is the preferred method of treating these fractures. However, future total knee arthroplasty(TKA) is a consideration in these patients as post-traumatic osteoarthritis is a common long-term complication of tibial plateau fractures. In older, lower demand patients, ORIF is potentially less favorable for a variety of reasons, namely fixation failure and the need for delayed weight bearing. In some of these patients, TKA can be considered as primary mode of treatment. This paper will review the literature surrounding TKA as both primary treatment and as a salvage measure in patients with fractures of the tibial plateau. 7Surgical treatment for both-column acetabular fractures using pre-operative virtual simulation and three-dimensional printing techniques显示文摘Background:Surgical treatment of both-column acetabular fractures is challenging because of the complex acetabular fracture patterns and the curved surface of the acetabulum.Seldom study has compared the application of three-dimensional(3D)printing technology and traditional methods of contouring plates intra-operatively for the surgical treatment of both-column acetabular fractures.We presented the use of both 3D printing technology and a virtual simulation in pre-operative planning for both-column acetabular fractures.We hypothesized that 3D printing technology will assist orthopedic surgeons in shortening the surgical time and improving the clinical outcomes.Methods:Forty patients with both-column acetabular fractures were recruited in the randomized prospective case-control study from September 2013 to September 2017 for this prospective study(No.ChiCTR1900028230).We allocated the patients to two groups using block randomization(3D printing group,n=20;conventional method group,n=20).For the 3D printing group,1:1 scaled pelvic models were created using 3D printing,and the plates were pre-contoured according to the pelvic models.The plates for the conventional method group were contoured during the operation without 3D printed pelvic models.The operation time,instrumentation time,time of intra-operative fluoroscopy,blood loss,number of times the approach was performed,blood transfusion,post-operative fracture reduction quality,hip joint function,and complications were recorded and compared between the two groups.Results:The operation and instrumentation times in the 3D printing group were significantly shorter(130.8±29.2 min,t=-7.5,P<0.001 and 32.1±9.5 min,t=-6.5,P<0.001,respectively)than those in the conventional method group.The amount of blood loss and blood transfusion in the 3D printing group were significantly lower(500[400,800]mL,Mann-Whitney U=74.5,P<0.001 and 0[0,400]mL,Mann-Whitney U=59.5,P<0.001,respectively)than those in the conventional method group.The number of the approach performed in the 3D printing group was significantly smaller than that in the conventional method group(pararectus+Kocher-Langenbeck[K-L]approach rate:35%vs.85%;x2=10.4,P<0.05).The time of intra-operative fluoroscopy in the 3D printing group was significantly shorter than that in the conventional method group(4.2±1.8 vs.7.7±2.6 s;t=-5.0,P<0.001).The post-operative fracture reduction quality in the 3D printing group was significantly better than that in the conventional method group(good reduction rate:80%vs.30%;x2=10.1,P<0.05).The hip joint function(based on the Harris score 1 year after the operation)in the 3D printing group was significantly better than that in the conventional method group(excellent/good rate:75%vs.30%;χ^2=8.1,P<0.05).The complication was similar in both groups(5.0%vs.25%;χ^2=3.1,P=0.182).Conclusions:The use of a pre-operative virtual simulation and 3D printing technology is a more effective method for treating bothcolumn acetabular fractures.This method can shorten the operation and instrumentation times,reduce blood loss,blood transfusion and the time of intra-operative fluoroscopy,and improve the post-operative fracture reduction quality.Ji-Hui Huang Hui Liao Xin-Yu Tan Wei-Rong Xing Qi Zhou Yu-Shi Zheng Hong-Yu Cao Can-Jun Zeng 2020Chinese Medical Journal2020,,4:15
8Multiligament knee injuries with associated tibial plateau fractures: A report of two cases显示文摘The management of a combination of fracture and multiligament knee injury(MKI) in traumatic knee injury remains controversial, and there are evolving treatment recommendations. Currently, there are no studies focusing on older adult patients with MKI's in combination with tibia fractures. As a result, there is no well-established treatment algorithm for older adult patients with these complex injuries. We report two cases of MKI's with concomitant fractures in patients fifty years of age or older. Both patients were treated surgically for their associated tibial plateau fractures, but were managed with conservative treatment of the multiligamentous knee injuries. We also provide a review of the literature and guidelines for older adult patients with these types of complex traumatic injuries. Early to mid term acceptable outcomes were achieved for both patients through surgical fixation of the tibial plateau fracture and conservative treatment of the ligament injuries. 9Application of internal fixation of steel-wire limited loop in early Achilles tendon rupture显示文摘Objective:To explore the clinical effect and safety of internal fixation of steel-wire limited loop in early Achilles tendon rupture.Methods:Seventy-six patients respectively with early transected and avulsed types of Achilles tendon rupture were selected and treated with internal fixation of steel-wire limited loop.The patients began to take exercise for their lower limbs through continous passive motion as early as possible after surgical repair,and the loops were removed after 3-5 months.Six months later,the condition of complications including Achilles tendon re-rupture,wound fistula,wound infection and skin necrosis,cutaneous sensation in sural nerve dominance region,time back to preinjury work or learning as well as time to physical activities were observed.One year later,the therapeutic effect was evaluated,and the maximum circumferences of bilateral legs and raptured plane circumferences of Achilles tendon were measured.Results:The wound of all patients healed well,no complications like Achilles tendon re-rupture,wound fistula,wound infection and skin necrosis occured,and the cutaneous sensation in sural nerve dominance region was normal.The mean time back to preinjury work or learning as well as to pysical activities of all patients were respectively 10 and 22 weeks.Seventy out of 76 patients(92.1%) achieved an excellent effect,and 6(7.9%) good effect.The excellent and good rate came up to 100%.The maximum circumference in the affected leg decreased to 2 mm averagely compared with the offside,while the ruptured plane circumferences of Achilles tendon in the affected side increased to 2.2 mm compared with the offside.Conclusions:Kor early Achilles tendon rupture,internal fixation of steel-wire limited loop can recover the ankle function better,return to the preinjury state in the shortest lime,and has few complications.Zhe Chen Jia-Sen Wei Zhao-Yang Hou Jiong Hu Yan-Guang Cao Qi-Xin Chen 2013Asian Pacific Journal of Tropical Medicine2013,6,11:10
10Polymethylmethacrylate bone cements and additives: A review of the literature显示文摘Polymethylmethacrylate(PMMA) bone cement technology has progressed from industrial Plexiglass administration in the 1950 s to the recent advent of nanoparticle additives. Additives have been trialed to address problems with modern bone cements such as the loosening of prosthesis, high post-operative infection rates, and inflammatory reduction in interface integrity. This review aims to assess current additives used in PMMA bone cements and offer an insight regarding future directions for this biomaterial. Low index(< 15%) vitamin E and low index(< 5 g) antibiotic impregnated additives significantly address infection and inflammatory problems, with only modest reductions in mechanical strength. Chitosan(15% w/w PMMA) and silver(1% w/w PMMA) nanoparticles have strong antibacterial activity with no significant reduction in mechanical strength. 12Ankle fracture configuration following treatment with and without arthroscopic-assisted reduction and fixation显示文摘AIM: To report ankle fracture configurations and bone quality following arthroscopic-assisted reduction and internal-fixation(ARIF) or open reduction and internalfixation(ORIF). METHODS: The patients of ARIF(n = 16) or ORIF(n = 29) to treat unstable ankle fracture between 2006 and 2014 were reviewed retrospectively. Baseline data, including age, sex, type of injury, immediate postoperative fracture configuration(assessed on X-rays and graded by widest gap and largest step-off of any intraarticular site), bone quality [assessed with bone mineral density(BMD) testing] and arthritic changes on X-rays following surgical treatments were recorded for each group.RESULTS: Immediate-postoperative fracture configurations did not differ significantly between the ARIF and ORIF groups. There were anatomic alignments as 8(50%) and 8(27.6%) patients in ARIF and ORIF groups(P = 0.539) respectively. There were acceptable alignments as 12(75%) and 17(58.6%) patients in ARIF and ORIF groups(P = 0.341) respectively. The arthritic changes in follow-up period as at least 16 wk following the surgeries were shown as 6(75%) and 10(83.3%) patients in ARIF and ORIF groups(P = 0.300) respectively. Significantly more BMD tests were performed in patients aged > 60 years(P < 0.001), ARIF patients(P = 0.021), and female patients(P = 0.029). There was no significant difference in BMD test t scores between the two groups. CONCLUSION: Ankle fracture configurations following surgeries are similar between ARIF and ORIF groups, suggesting that ARIF is not superior to ORIF in treatment of unstable ankle fractures.Chayanin Angthong 2016World Journal of Orthopedics2016,7,4:8
13Multicentre collaborative cohort study of the use of Kirschner wires for the management of supracondylar fractures in children显示文摘Purpose:Supracondylar fractures of the humerus cause significant morbidity in children.Nerve damage and loss of fracture reduction are common recognised complications in patients with this injury.Uncertainty surrounds the optimal Kirschner wire configuration and diameter for closed reduction and pinning of these fractures.This study describes current practice and examined the association between wire configuration or diameter and outcomes(clinical and radiological)in the operative management of paediatric supracondylar fractures.Methods:Children presenting w让h GartlandⅡorⅢsupracondylar fractures at five hospitals in southwest England were eligible for inclusion.Collaborators scrutinised paper and electronic case notes.Outcome measures were maintenance of reduction and iatrogenic nerve injury.Results:Altogether 209 patients were eligible for inclusion:15.7%had a documented neurological deficit at presentation;3.9%who were neurologically intact at presentation sustained a new deficit caused by treatment and 13.4%experienced a clinically significant loss of reduction following fixation.Maintenance of reduction was significantly better in patients treated specifically with crossed×3 Kirschner wire configuration compared to all other configurations.The incidence of iatrogenic nerve injury was not significantly different between groups treated with different wire configurations.Conclusion:We present a large multicentre cohort study showing that crossed×3 Kirschner wires are associated with better maintenance of reduction than crossed×2 or lateral entry wires.Greater numbers would be required to properly investigate nerve injury relating to operative management of supracondylar fractures.We found significant variations in practice and compliance w让h the British Orthopaedic Association Standard for Trauma(BOAST)11 guidelines.Henry Claireaux Richard Goodall Joshua Hill Elizabeth Wilson Philippa Coull Sebastian Green James Schuster-Bruce Diana Lim Joanna Miles Payam Tarassoli 2019Chinese Journal of Traumatology2019,22,5:7
14Paddy System with a Hybrid Rice Enhances Cyanobacteria Nostoc and Increases N2 Fixation显示文摘Biological nitrogen (N) fixation (BNF) plays a significant role in maintaining soil fertility in paddy field ecosystems. Rice variety influences BNF, but how different rice varieties regulate BNF and associated diazotroph communities has not been quantified. Airtight, field-based 15N2-labelling grow th chamber experiments were used to assess the BNF capac 辻 y of different rice varie ties. In addition, both the 16S rRNA and nifH genes were sequenced to assess the influence of different rice varieties on bacterial and diazotrophic communities in paddy soils. After subjecting a rice-soil system to 74 d of continuous airtight, field-based 15N2 labelling in pots in a growth chamber, the amounts of fixed N were 22.3 and 38.9 kg ha^-1 in inbred japonica (W23) and hybrid indica (IIY) rice cultivars plan ted in the rice-soil systems, respectively, and only 1%—2.5% of the fixed N was allocated to the rice plants and weeds. A greater abundance of diazotrophs was found in the surface soil (0-1 cm) under IIY than under W23. Sequencing of the 16S rRNA gene showed significantly greater abundances of the cyanobacterial genera Nostoc, Anabaena, and Cylindrospermum under IIY than under W23. Sequencing of the nifH gene also showed a significantly greater abundance of Nostoc under IIY than under W23. 15Evolutionary game dynamics of combining the Moran and imitation processes显示文摘One of the assumptions of previous research in evolutionary game dynamics is that individuals use only one rule to update their strategy. In reality, an individual's strategy update rules may change with the environment, and it is possible for an individual to use two or more rules to update their strategy. We consider the case where an individual updates strategies based on the Moran and imitation processes, and establish mixed stochastic evolutionary game dynamics by combining both processes. Our aim is to study how individuals change strategies based on two update rules and how this affects evolutionary game dynamics. We obtain an analytic expression and properties of the fixation probability and fixation times(the unconditional fixation time or conditional average fixation time) associated with our proposed process. We find unexpected results. The fixation probability within the proposed model is independent of the probabilities that the individual adopts the imitation rule update strategy. This implies that the fixation probability within the proposed model is equal to that from the Moran and imitation processes. The one-third rule holds in the proposed mixed model. However, under weak selection, the fixation times are different from those of the Moran and imitation processes because it is connected with the probability that individuals adopt an imitation update rule. Numerical examples are presented to illustrate the relationships between fixation times and the probability that an individual adopts the imitation update rule, as well as between fixation times and selection intensity. From the simulated analysis, we find that the fixation time for a mixed process is greater than that of the Moran process, but is less than that of the imitation process. 16Impact of living mulch on soil C:N:P stoichiometry in orchards across China:A meta-analysis examining climatic,edaphic,and biotic dependency显示文摘The use of living mulch in orchards is a widely accepted management strategy for improving soil quality and enhancing tree productivity.Although the effects of living mulch on soil organic carbon(C)and nutrients have been previously investigated,changes in the stoichiometric ratios of C,soil total nitrogen(N),and soil total phosphorous(P)under different climatic,edaphic,and biotic conditions are currently unknown.These factors are important indicators of elemental balance associated with ecological interactions.In order to examine the effects of living mulch in orchards on soil C:N:P stoichiometry under different conditions,a meta-analysis was undertaken.The results showed that in general,living mulch significantly(P<0.05)increased C:P and N:P ratio,while the impact on C:N ratio was not significant,a result that was related to the coupled increase of C and N.Phosphorous limitation occurred shortly after the addition of living mulch;after four years this effect receded.In contrast,an increase in C occurred simultaneously with N increase at all stages.Specifically,the treatment effect was context-dependent.The living mulch did not change soil stoichiometry in orchards with old trees(>10 years),an occurrence which may be related to changes in the amount of fungi.Grass life history also had a significant influence on the treatment effect on soil stoichiometry,while N-fixing characteristics did not.The treatment effect was significant in areas with moderate mean annual temperature and mean annual precipitation,which might be related to the litter ratio of grass and trees.Effects on stoichiometric ratios were significant in the top soil layer(0–20 cm),in contrast to the deep soil layers.Therefore,grass species and management practices,such as fertilization,should be selected according to the specific soil and climatic conditions of the management area.Guo CHEN Shibin LIU Yangzhou XIANG Xiaolu TANG Haitao LIU Bin YAO Xuqiang LUO 2020Pedosphere2020,30,2:7
17Surgical treatment ofpatients with severe non-flail chest rib fractures显示文摘BACKGROUND Many patients have inadequate long-term analgesia,respiratory distress,and hypoxemia due to a long-standing substantial smoking history or the presence of primary pulmonary diseases;analgesic treatment is not valid in these patients.Even if the imaging findings of rib fractures are relatively mild,rib fractures may cause severe position limitation,respiratory distress,and hypoxemia.AIM To investigate the curative effect of surgical treatment for patients with severe non-flail chest rib fractures.METHODS A total of 78 patients from our hospital with severe noncontinuous thoracic rib fractures from September 2016 to September 2018 were enrolled in our study.Thirty-nine patients underwent surgical treatment,and 39 underwent conservative treatment.The surgical treatment group received surgery performed with titanium plates,and the screws were inserted with open reduction and internal fixation.The conservative treatment group received analgesia and symptomatic treatment.The pain scores at 72 h,1 wk,2 wk,4 wk,6 wk,3 mo,and 6 mo were compared,and the SF-36 quality of life scores were compared atthe 3rd and 6th months.RESULTS Pain relief in the surgical group was significantly better than that in the conservative group at each time point(72 h,1 wk,2 wk,4 wk,6 wk,3 mo,and 6 mo after surgery,P<0.001).The SF-36 scores were significantly higher in the surgical group than in the conservative group at 1 mo and 6 mo(P<0.05).CONCLUSION Patients with severe non-flail chest rib fractures have a better quality of life following surgical treatment than following conservative treatment,and surgical treatment is also useful for relieving pain.We should pay more attention to the physiological functions and clinical manifestations of patients with severe rib fractures.In patients with non-flail chest rib fractures,surgical treatment is feasible and effective.Jian-Peng Zhang Lin Sun Wei-Qiang Li Yan-Yu Wang Xin-Zhen Li Yang Liu 2019World Journal of Clinical Cases2019,7,22:6
18A NEW METHOD TO PREPARE CHITOSAN MEMBRANE AS A BIOMEDICAL MATERIAL显示文摘This paper reports a new method to prepare chitosan membrane which could be used as a biomedical material.Addition of a fixation agent composed of alcohol, glycerol and potassium hydroxide can accelerate the sol-gel transformation process and hence shorten the preparation period. The present method takes about 6 h to get a flexible membrane with fine appearance. 19A Biomechanical Comparison of Conventional versus an Anatomic Plate and Compression Bolts for Fixation of Intra-articular Calcaneal Fractures显示文摘The purpose of this study was to compare the biomechanical stability obtained by using our technique featured an anatomical plate and compression bolts versus that of the conventional anatomic plate and cancellous screws in the fixation of intraarticular calcaneal fractures.Eighteen fresh frozen lower limbs of cadavers were used to create a reproductive Sanders type-Ⅲ calcaneal fracture model by using osteotomy.The calcaneus fractures were randomly selected to be fixed either using our anatomical plate and compression bolts or conventional anatomic plate and cancellous screws.Reduction of fracture was evaluated through X radiographs.Each calcaneus was successively loaded at a frequency of 1 Hz for 1000 cycles through the talus using an increasing axial force 20 N to 200 N and 20 N to 700 N,representing the partial weight bearing and full weight bearing,respectively,and then the specimens were loaded to failure.Data extracted from the mechanical testing machine were recorded and used to test for difference in the results with the Wilcoxon signed rank test.No significant difference was found between our fixation technique and conventional technique in displacement during 20-200 N cyclic loading(P=0.06),while the anatomical plate and compression bolts showed a great lower irreversible deformation during 20-700 N cyclic loading(P=0.008).The load achieved at loss of fixation of the constructs for the two groups had significant difference:anatomic plate and compression bolts at 3839.6±152.4 N and anatomic plate and cancellous screws at 3087.3±58.9 N(P=0.008).There was no significant difference between the ultimate displacements.Our technique featured anatomical plate and compression bolts for calcaneus fracture fixation was demonstrated to provide biomechanical stability as good as or better than the conventional anatomic plate and cancellous screws under the axial loading.The study supports the mechanical viability of using our plate and compression bolts for the fixation of calcaneal fracture.王海立 杨朝旭 吴战坡 陈伟 张奇 李明 李智勇 张英泽 2012Journal of Huazhong University of Science and Technology(Medical Sciences)2012,32,4:6
20Enhanced photocatalytic N2 fixation by promoting N2 adsorption with a co-catalyst显示文摘Photocatalytic N2 fixation involves a nitrogen reduction reaction on the surface of the photocatalyst to convert N2 into ammonia.Currently,the adsorption of N2 is the limiting step for the N2 reduction reaction on the surface of the catalyst.Based on the concept of photocatalytic water splitting,the photocatalytic efficiency can be greatly enhanced by introducing a co-catalyst.In this report,we proposed a new strategy,namely,the loading of a NiS co-catalyst on CdS nanorods for photocatalytic N2 fixation.Theoretical calculation results indicated that N2 was effectively adsorbed onto the NiS/CdS surface.Temperature programmed desorption studies confirmed that the N2 molecules preferred to adsorb onto the NiS/CdS surface.Linear sweep voltammetry results revealed that the overpotential of the N2 reduction reaction was reduced by loading NiS.Furthermore,transient photocurrent and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy indicated that the charge separation was enhanced by introducing NiS.Photocatalytic N2 fixation was carried out in the presence of the catalyst dispersed in water without any sacrificial agent.As a result,1.0 wt% NiS/CdS achieved an ammonia production rate of 2.8 and 1.7 mg L-1 for the first hour under full spectrum and visible light(λ>420 nm),respectively.The catalyst demonstrated apparent quantum efficiencies of 0.76%,0.39% and 0.09% at 420,475 and 520 nm,res pectively.This study provides a new method to promote the photocatalytic efficiency of N2 fixation.Xiang Gao Li An Dan Qu Wenshuai Jiang Yanxiao Chai Shaorui Sun Xingyuan Liu Zaicheng Sun 2019Science Bulletin2019,64,13:6
