1郁闭度对风景游憩林林下植被及林内景观的影响显示文摘文章试图通过分析郁闭度对林下植被和林内景观的影响,探讨部分群落生态学因子与林内景观美景度的关系,为风景游憩林经营管理提供数量化指标。研究结果表明:所调查风景游憩林侧柏刺槐林的林内景观美景度不高,急需进行人工干预;不同郁闭度类型林下植被的物种组成成分和物种多样性指数均存在差异,郁闭度0.6~0.7时,Simpson指数、Shannon指数和均匀度最大,生态优势度最小;尽管林内景观美景度与郁闭度的关联性不显著,但林下植被物种Simpson指数、Shannon指数、均匀度与美景度标准化值呈显著负相关,生态优势度与美景度标准化值呈显著正相关。综合考虑风景游憩林的多种功能需求,本研究认为风景游憩林侧柏刺槐林的郁闭度以0.6~0.7为宜。章志都 徐程扬 董建文 连志刚 2008中国城市林业2008,6,2:39
2基于InVEST生境质量模型与景观格局指数的山地植物多样性变化研究——以甘肃白龙江流域为例(英文)显示文摘Mountains in western China, hosted rich biodiversity and millions of people and inhabitant with vital ecosystem services, had experienced the most serious biodiversity loss with fragile ecological problems. Even though increasing attentions had been paid to this issue, we still lacked efficient methods to assess the change of plant biodiversity at medium/large scale due to the poor data and co-existing multiple habitat types. This study proposed an integrated method combining InVEST-habitat quality model, NPP and landscape pattern indexes to analyze the spatial heterogeneity of plant biodiversity and its spatiotemporal change on raster cell scale. The results indicated that plant biodiversity service was high in Bailongjiang watershed with obvious spatial pattern variations. The land area containing higher plant biodiversity were 3161 km2, which mainly distributed in the National Nature Reserve and forestry area. While the areas with lower plant biodiversity accounted for 37.67% and mainly distributed in the valleys between Zhouqu-Wudu-Wenxian County, the valley of Minjiang in Tanchang County and alpine mountain snow-covered regions. During 1990–2010, plant biodiversity level tended to increase and the higher plant biodiversity area increased from 14.13% to 17.15% due to ecological restoration and afforestation, while plant biodiversity decreased in the area with intensive human activities, such as cultivated land, urban and rural land. The results showed that combining InVEST-habitat quality model, NPP and landscape pattern indexes can effective reveal mountain plant biodiversity change. 4权衡城市扩张、耕地保护与生态保育的土地利用布局优化——以武汉市为例显示文摘我国正处于高速城市化阶段,如何协调城市扩张、耕地保护与生态保育对土地资源需求的矛盾是当前我国土地利用中面临的主要问题。该文采用LANDSCAPE模型,以武汉市为例,以城市扩张、耕地保护和生态保育的协调为目标,开展土地利用布局优化。结果表明:1)在满足城市扩张规模与粮食安全的条件下,优化后城镇用地扩张对区域生态系统服务价值侵占仅为未优化布局的64%,该文提出的优化模型能显著提升城市扩张、耕地保护与生态保育的协调程度。2)当前城市扩张过程中土地系统生态服务价值流失过快,特别是城市中湖泊和草地大量减少,因而有必要改变当前的城市扩张模式,采取以城市化为导向的生态化发展政策,以实现城市扩张、耕地保护与生态保育的协调。研究结果可为武汉市土地利用优化布局和合理利用提供科学依据,也可为快速城市化进程中城市扩张、耕地保护与生态保育的协调提供方法支撑。柯新利 郑伟伟 杨柏寒 2016地理与地理信息科学2016,32,5:22
5The influence of land use change on the spatial–temporal variability of habitat quality between 1990 and 2010 in Northeast China显示文摘Land use changes are a direct consequence of interactions between humans and nature.Analysing the spatial and temporal changes in habitat quality brought about by land use change can provide a scientific basis for ecological protection and land planning.Based on the analysis of land use change from 1990 to 2010 in Northeast China,we used the InVEST(integrated valuation of ecosystem services and trade-offs)module to evaluate habitat quality based on watershed subdivision.The results show that:(1)the main land use changes from 1990 to 2010 were the transition from grasslands and forest lands to agricultural lands,which led to a decrease in connectivity of landscape and an increase in fragmentation;(2)areas of high habitat quality were distributed north of the Greater Khingan Mountains,the region of the Lesser Khingan Mountains and east of the Changbai Mountains,while the central plain had low habitat quality;(3)agricultural lands had the largest effect on habitat degradation among all habitat threats.During these 2 decades,the contribution of agricultural lands to habitat degradation were 43.4%in 1990,44.6%in 2000 and 43.9%in 2010;and,(4)at a landscape scale,patch density and splitting index present noticeable negative correlations with habitat quality index.Habitat quality was significantly affected by landscape fragmentation and decreased connectivity.Limin Dai Shanlin Li Bernard J.Lewis Jian Wu Dapao Yu Wangming Zhou Li Zhou Shengnan Wu 2019Journal of Forestry Research2019,30,6:18
6Cenozoic topography,monsoons and biodiversity conservation within the Tibetan Region:An evolving story显示文摘The biodiversity of the Himalaya,Hengduan Mountains and Tibet,here collectively termed the Tibetan Region,is exceptional in a global context.To contextualize and understand the origins of this biotic richness,and its conservation value,we examine recent fossil finds and review progress in understanding the orogeny of the Tibetan Region.We examine the deep-time origins of monsoons affecting Asia,climate variation over different timescales,and the establishment of environmental niche heterogeneity linked to topographic development.The origins of the modern biodiversity were established in the Eocene,concurrent with the formation of pronounced topographic relief across the Tibetan Region.High(>4 km)mountains to the north and south of what is now the Tibetan Plateau bounded a Paleogene central lowland(<2.5 km)hosting moist subtropical vegetation influenced by an intensifying monsoon.In mid Miocene times,before the Himalaya reached their current elevation,sediment infilling and compressional tectonics raised the floor of the central valley to above 3000 m,but central Tibet was still moist enough,and low enough,to host a warm temperate angiosperm-dominated woodland.After 15 Ma,global cooling,the further rise of central Tibet,and the rain shadow cast by the growing Himalaya,progressively led to more open,herb-rich vegetation as the modern high plateau formed with its cool,dry climate.In the moist monsoonal Hengduan Mountains,high and spatially extensive since the Eocene but subsequently deeply dissected by river incision,Neogene cooling depressed the tree line,compressed altitudinal zonation,and created strong environmental heterogeneity.This served as a cradle for the then newly-evolving alpine biota and favoured diversity within more thermophilic vegetation at lower elevations.This diversity has survived through a combination of minimal Quaternary glaciation,and complex relief-related environmental niche heterogeneity.The great antiquity and diversity of the Tibetan Region biota argues for its conservation,and the importance of that biota is demonstrated through our insights into its long temporal gestation provided by fossil archives and information written in surviving genomes.These data sources are worthy of conservation in their own right,but for the living biotic inventory we need to ask what it is we want to conserve.Is it 1)individual taxa for their intrinsic properties,2)their services in functioning ecosystems,or 3)their capacity to generate future new biodiversity?If 2 or 3 are our goal then landscape conservation at scale is required,and not just seed banks or botanical/zoological gardens.Robert A.Spicer Alexander Farnsworth Tao Su 2020Plant Diversity2020,42,4:14
7Origin of Tafoni in the Late Cretaceous Aeolian Sandstones,Danxiashan UNESCO Global Geopark,South China显示文摘Tafoni occur generally in granular rocks around the world, but their origin remains controversial. In this study,the roles of lithology, micro–climate, and organism in tafoni development are investigated in the Danxiashan UNESCO Global Geopark of South China. The Jinshiyan Temple and Luyitang sites along the Jinjiang River are chosen to conduct tafoni morphometry, bedrock petrography, and micro–climate analyses. The research methods used in this study include field observations and measurements, Voronoi diagrams, polarizing microscopic and scanning electron microscopic(SEM)image analysis, and meteorological detection. The tafoni are mostly 2–10 cm in length and elliptical in shape. The Late Cretaceous Jinshiyan sandstones are characterized by a grain–to–grain contact fabric and moderate sorting with a high proportion of soluble grains and cements. The Voronoi diagrams developed through the Arc GIS software are largely consistent with the tafoni openings. Moreover, owing to exposure to solar insolation, the external temperature values are higher than the internal ones, while the external relative humidity values are lower than the internal ones. Therefore, the permeable Jinshiyan sandstones are fundamental for tafoni development, while the abundant moisture from the Jinjiang River and frequent rains is favorable for salt weathering in tandem with biological activities. 11Dynamic Changes in the Wetland Landscape Pattern of the Yellow River Delta from 1976 to 2016 Based on Satellite Data显示文摘The Yellow River Delta wetland is the youngest wetland ecosystem in China's warm temperate zone. To better understand how its landscape pattern has changed over time and the underlying factors responsible, this study analyzed the dynamic changes of wetlands using five Landsat series of images, namely MSS(Mulri Spectral Scanner), TM(Thematic Mapper), and OLI(Operational Land Imager) sensors in 1976, 1986, 1996, 2006, and 2016. Object-oriented classification and the combination of spatial and spectral features and both the Normalized Difference Vegetation Index(NDVI) and Normalized Difference Water Index(NDWI), as well as brightness characteristic indices, were used to classify the images in eCognition software. Landscape pattern changes in the Yellow River Delta over the past 40 years were then delineated using transition matrix and landscape index methods. Results show that: 1) from1976 to 2016, the total area of wetlands in the study area decreased from 2594.76 to 2491.79 km^2, while that of natural wetlands decreased by 954.03 km^2 whereas human-made wetlands increased by 851.06 km^2. 2) The transformation of natural wetlands was extensive: 31.34% of those covered by Suaeda heteropteras were transformed into reservoirs and ponds, and 24.71% with Phragmites australis coverage were transformed into dry farmland. Some human-made wetlands were transformed into non-wetlands types: 1.55% of reservoirs and ponds became construction land, and likewise 21.27% were transformed into dry farmland. 3) From 1976 to 2016, as the intensity of human activities increased, the number of landscape types in the study area continuously increased. Patches were scattered and more fragmented. The whole landscape became more complex. In short, over the past 40 years, the wetlands of the Yellow River Delta have been degraded, with the area of natural wetlands substantially reduced. 14Hysteresis in sap flow and its controlling mechanisms for a deciduous broad-leaved tree species in a humid karst region显示文摘The critical zone(CZ) represents the intersection of the biosphere with the atmosphere, hydrosphere and lithosphere.Understanding the hydrological processes and human impact factors on the CZ is fundamental to sustainable water resources management for agroforestry. Transpiration(T) is an important component of terrestrial evapotranspiration(ET), and understanding the time lag(TL) between vegetation transpiration and meteorological factors can improve our knowledge of the mechanisms of vegetation adaptability to a changing environment. However, the controlling factors on the TL remain poorly understood. Therefore, the objective of this study is identifying the temporal dynamics of key controlling factors on the TL, using a typical deciduous broad-leaved tree species(Zenia insigins Chun) of CZ in subtropical humid karst regions. This species is used as an example to explore the characteristics of the TL between SF(sap flow) and hydro-meteorological forcing. Sap flow in these 6 trees was monitored using the thermal dissipation probes(TDP). Results showed that:(1) the peak of diurnal sap flow generally lagged behind PAR but preceded Ta(air temperature), RH(relative humidity) and VPD(vapor pressure deficit), with the mean TL of-67.4 min(PAR), 90.5 min(Ta), 91.6 min(RH) and 92.9 min(VPD), respectively;(2) TL had no significant relationships with the daily mean meteorological factors and soil moisture, but was highly(R^2>0.66) correlated to CRs(changing rates of meteorological factors) in the morning;(3) At seasonal scale, the sap flow rate and TL both were controlled by the seasonality of precipitation and temperature. Overall, the seasonality of the TL was caused by plants' high water loss and strongly active physiological response in hot seasons, leading to close stomata earlier than in cold seasons;(4) The reason why CRs proposed can explain the TL better than mean values of metrological factors is that the CRs considered the distribution and change processes of metrological factors in the daytime. 16Genomic landscape and genetic manipulation of the black soldier fly Hermetia illucens,a natural waste recycler显示文摘The black soldier fly(BSF),Hermetia illucens(Diptera:Stratiomyidae),is renowned for its bioconversion of organic waste into a sustainable source of animal feed.We report a high-quality genome of 1.1 Gb and a consensus set of 16,770 gene models for this beneficial species.Compared to those of other dipteran species,the BSF genome has undergone a substantial expansion in functional modules related to septic adaptation,including immune system factors,olfactory receptors,and cytochrome P450s.We further profiled midgut transcriptomes and associated microbiomes of BSF larvae fed with representative types of organic waste.We find that the pathways related to digestive system and fighting infection are commonly enriched and that Firmicutes bacteria dominate the microbial community in BSF across all diets.To extend its potential practical applications,we further developed an efficient CRISPR/Cas9-based gene editing approach and implemented this to yield flightless and enhanced feeding capacity phenotypes,both of which could expand BSF production capabilities.Our study provides valuable genomic and technical resources for optimizing BSF lines for industrialization.Shuai Zhan Gangqi Fang Minmin Cai Zongqing Kou Jun Xu Yanghui Cao Liang Bai Yixiang Zhang Yongmao Jiang Xingyu Luo Jian Xu Xia Xu Longyu Zheng Ziniu Yu Hong Yang Zhijian Zhang Sibao Wang Jeffery K.Tomberlin Jibin Zhang Yongping Huang 2020Cell Research2020,30,1:9

18A gradient analysis on urban sprawl and urban landscape pattern between 1985 and 2000 in the Pearl River Delta, China显示文摘Urbanization is an irreversible trend world- wide,especially in rapidly developing China.Accelerated urbanization has resulted in rapid urban sprawl and urban landscape pattern changes.Quantifying the spatiotemporal dynamics of urban land use and landscape pattem not only can reveal the characteristics of social transfer and economic development,but also can provide insights into the driving mechanisms of land use changes.In this study,we integrated remote sensing (RS),geographic information system (GIS),landscape metrics,and gradient analysis to quantitatively compare the spatiotemporal dynamics of land use,urban sprawl,and landscape pattern for nine cities in the Pearl River Delta from 1985-2000. For the whole study region,urbanization was obvious.The results show an increase in urban buildup land and shrinkage of cropland in the Pearl River Delta.However, the nine cities differed greatly in terms of the process and magnitude of urban sprawl for both the spatial and temporal dimensions.This was most evident for the cities of Guangzhou and Shenzhen.Gradient analysis on urban landscape changes could deepen understanding of the stages of urban development and provide a scientific foundation for future urban planning and land management strategies in China.Erfu DAI Zhuo WU Xiaodian DU 2018Frontiers of Earth Science2018,12,4:8
19Temporal and spatial variation and stability of the oasis in the Sangong River Watershed, Xinjiang, China显示文摘Starting with the change of the land cover and the landscape patterns as well as the cold-island effect of the oasis, the temporal and spatial variation and the stability of the oasis of the alluvial-diluvial-fan/alluvial-plain type in the Sangong River watershed are researched by using the theories and methods of GIS, RS and landscape ecology based on the aerial photos in 1978 and 1987, the TM images in 1998 and the meteorological and hydrological data of the watershed. The results show that (ⅰ) the land cover of the whole oasis changes rapidly in a big amplitude, and there is an obvious temporal variation; (ⅱ) during the period of 1978—1987, the diversity and the variation of the oasis landscapes were increased but the stability of the oasis was decreased, the diversity of the oasis landscapes, however, has been decreased, but the stability has increased since 1987; (ⅲ) the cold-island effect of the oasis in the Sangong River watershed has been gradually increased since the 1960s, which reveals that the stability of the oasis has been obvi-ously increased viewed from the angle of climate.罗格平 陈嘻 周可法 叶民权 2003Science China Earth Sciences2003,46,1:8
