| 1 | Atomic-scaled surface engineering Ni-Pt nanoalloys towards enhanced catalytic efficiency for methanol oxidation reaction显示文摘Surface engineering is known as an effective strategy to enhance the catalytic properties of Pt-based nanomaterials.Herein,we report on surface engineering Ni-Pt nanoalloys with a facile method by varying the Ni doping concentration and oleylamine/oleicacid surfactant-mix.The alloy-composition,exposed facet condition,and surface lattice strain are,thereby manipulated to optimize the catalytic efficiency of such nanoalloys for methanol oxidation reaction(MOR).Exemplary nanoalloys including Ni_(0.69)Pt_(0.31)truncated octahedrons,Ni_(0.45)Pt_(0.55)nanomultipods and Ni_(0.20)Pt_(0.80)nanoflowers are thoroughly characterized,with a commercial Pt/C catalyst as a common benchmark.Their variations in MOR catalytic efficiency are significant:2.2 A/mgPt for Ni_(0.20)Pt_(0.80)nanoflowers,1.2 A/mgPt for Ni_(0.45)Pt_(0.55)nanomultipods,0.7 A/mgPt for Ni_(0.69)Pt_(0.31)truncated octahedrons,and 0.6 A/mgPt for the commercial Pt/C catalysts.Assisted by density functional theory calculations,we correlate these observed catalysis-variations particularly to the intriguing presence of surface interplanar-strains,such as{111}facets with an interplanar-tensile-strain of 2.6%and{200}facets with an interplanar-tensile-strain of 3.5%,on the Ni_(0.20)Pt_(0.80)nanoflowers. | Aixian Shan Shuoyuan Huang Haofei Zhao Wengui Jiang Xueai Teng Yingchun Huang Chinping Chen Rongming Wang Woon-Ming Lau | 2020 | Nano Research2020,13,11: | 6 |
| 2 | The combination of 1-octyl-3-methylimidazolium tetrafluorborate with TBAB or THF on CO2 hydrate formation and CH4 separation from biogas显示文摘[C_8min] BF_4 was used in this work to combine with TBAB or THF for the investigation about thermodynamic and kinetic additives on CO_2 and CH_4/CO_2 hydrates. The results show that [C_8min] BF_4 has the inhibition effect on the equilibrium of hydrate formation. About the kinetic study, [C_8 min] BF_4 could improve the rate of CO_2 hydrate formation and increase the gas uptake in hydrate phase. At the same time, the combination of TBAB and [C8 min] BF_4 could increase the mole friction of CH_4 in residual gas comparing with the data in THF solution. CH_4 separation efficiency was strongly enhanced. Since that the size of CO_2 and CH_4 molecules are similar, CH_4 and CO_2 could form the similar hydrate, so the recovery of CH_4 from biogas decreases lightly. The CH_4 content in biogas can purified from 67 mol% to 77 mol% after one-stage hydrate formation. | 3 | Experimental study of separation of ammonia synthesis vent gas by hydrate formation显示文摘Termodynamic data on methane hydrate formation in the presence of ammonia are very important for upgrading of ammonia synthesis vent gas using hydrate formation. This paper is focused on the formation conditions of methane hydrate in the presence of ammonia and the effects of gas-liquid ratio and temperature on the separation of vent gas by hydrate formation. Equilibrium data for methane hydrate within an ammonia mole concentration range from 1% to 5 % were obtained. The experimental results indicated that ammonia has an inhibitive effect on hydrate formation. The higher the ammonia concentration, the higher is the pressure reguired for methane hydrate formation would be. | 4 | NiPt hollow nanocatalyst: Green synthesis, size control and electrocatalysis显示文摘Nearly monodispersed hollow nanospheres of bimetallic NiPt have been synthesized by a one-pot wet chemical method at room temperature with a precursor Ni nanocompound as a sacrificial template. The size control is carried out via the sacrificial template, from about 35 nm to nearly100 nm in diameter. The shell thickness of the NiPt hollow sphere reaches down to as thin as 2–3 nm slightly larger than a single layer of alloyed NiPt nanocrystallites. The product with the citric acid as surfactant exhibits enhanced oxygen reduction activities compared to a commercial Pt/C catalyst and the hollow nanospheres coated with PVP. For 60 GHz systems, low-power equalization algorithms are favorable. We focus on FSE in both time domain(TD) and frequency domain(FD) in order to meet different complexity requirements of 60 GHz systems. Compared with symbol spaced equalizer(SSE), FSE can relax the requirement of sampling synchronization hardware significantly. | 6 | Development of a high-density SSR genetic linkage map in sweet potato显示文摘Simple sequence repeat(SSR) markers have been proved to be a very powerful tool for quantitative trait locus(QTL) mapping, marker-assisted selection and comparative genomics research in many crop species. However, a high-density SSR genetic linkage map is still lacking because there are only a few SSR markers available in sweet potato. In this study, a total of 2545 simple sequence repeat(SSR) primer pairs, including 1215 genomic SSR(gSSR) primer pairs and 1330 BES-SSR(bSSR) primer pairs designed from the genome sequence and BAC-end sequence of sweet potato, respectively, were screened with sweet potato cultivars Luoxushu 8 and Zhengshu 20 and their randomly sampled two F1 individuals and 571 of them generated polymorphic bands. The selected 571 polymorphic SSR primer pairs and 35 EST-based SSR(eSSR) primer pairs developed at our laboratory were used to genotype 240 F1 individuals derived from a cross between Luoxushu 8 and Zhengshu 20. A double pseudo-test-cross strategy was applied for linkage analysis. The Luoxushu 8 map included 90 linkage groups with 5057 SSR markers and covered 13,299.9 cM with a marker density of 2.6 cM, and the Zhengshu 20 map contained 90 linkage groups with 3009 SSR markers and covered 11,122.9 cM with a marker density of 3.7 cM. Fifteen homologous groups were identified in both parent maps. | 9 | Giant enhancement and anomalous temperature dependence of magnetism in monodispersed NiPt2 nanoparticles显示文摘A simple yet general one-step solvothermal method is applied to synthesizesub-7 nm monodispersed single-crystal NiPt2 nanoparticles (NPs) with themorphology of truncated octahedrons in the alloying state of disordered atomicarrangements. The effective magnetic moments of these NPs exhibit an anomaloustemperature dependency, increasing from approximately 0.9 μB/atom at 15 K to1.9 μB/atom at 300 K. This is an increase by a factor of more than three comparedwith bulk Ni. Lam.)显示文摘Anthocyanin accumulation during storage root development in purple-fleshed sweet potato was analyzed by detection of anthocyanin concentration, accumulation rate and the expression pattern of anthocyanin biosynthetic genes by semi-quantitative RT-PCR. Anthocyanin concentration in sweet potato cvs Jishu 18 and Ayamurasaki increased steadily during storage root development stage. The accumulation rate in two genotypes peaked at 50 to 65 d after transplanting, and then declined rapidly. During storage root development of Ayamurasaki, the anthocyanin biosynthesis gene, IbCHS, was constitutively expressed, the genes IbF3H, IbDFR, IbANS were induced steadily, reaching a maximum at the later stage of root thickening, and IbPAL steadily decreased.
