| 2 | A Constant Gain and Miniaturized Antipodal Vivaldi Antenna for 5G Communication Applications显示文摘This paper proposes a stable gain and a compact Antipodal Vivaldi Antenna(AVA)for a 38GHz band of 5G communication.A novel compact AVA is designed to provide constant gain,high front to back ratio(FBR),and very high efficiency.The performance of the proposed AVA is enhanced with the help of a dielectric lens(DL)and corrugations.A rectangular-shaped DL is incorporated in conventional AVA(CAVA)to enhance its gain up to 1 dBi and the bandwidth by 1.8 GHz.Next,the rectangular corrugations are implemented in CAVA with lens(CAVA-L)to further improve the gain and bandwidth.The proposed AVA with lens and corrugations(AVA-LC)gives a constant and high gain of 8.2 to 9 dBi.The designed AVA-LC operates from 34 to 45GHz frequency which covers 38GHz(37.5 to 43.5 GHz)band of 5G applications.Further,the presented AVA-LC mitigates the back lobe and sidelobe levels,resulting in FBR and efficiency improvement.The FBR is in the range of 12.2 to 22 dB,and efficiency is 99%,almost constant.The AVA-LC is fabricated on Roger’s RT/duroid 5880 substrate,and it is tested to verify the simulated results.The proposed compact AVA-LC with high gain,an improved FBR,excellent efficiency,and stable radiation patterns is suitable for the 38GHz band of 5G devices. | Amruta SDixit Sumit Kumar Shabana Urooj | 2022 | Computers, Materials & Continua2022,,12: | 1 |

| 11 | A knowledge graph and service for regional geologic time standards显示文摘Geologic time is an important dimension in geological research.Geologic time data are commonly collected from multiple sources in data-intensive studies of Earth’s history and raise an issue of data cleansing and integration.A knowledge graph of the international geological time scale has been established to harmonize heterogeneous data to facilitate effective and efficient data-driven discovery.Although many regional geologic time standards are also used in various databases and literature,there is limited discussion or development of knowledge graph for them.In this research,we construct a knowledge graph for the geologic time standards in 17 regions at the Epoch and Age levels.This regional geologic time knowledge graph is integrated with the international geologic time knowledge graph as a comprehensive deep-time knowledge base.A SPARQL endpoint has been established to provide open and free online service to the knowledge base.Several use cases are presented here to demonstrate the functionality of the knowledge graph we built as well as its application in open data exploration.Our work addresses the shortage of machine-readable knowledge graphs for regional geologic time standards and will help accelerate geologic data integration from multiple sources in data-intensive studies.All data and code in this paper are made open source and are accessible on GitHub and Zenodo. | Chao Ma Amruta Suresh Kale Jiyin Zhang Xiaogang Ma | 2023 | Geoscience Frontiers2023,14,5: | 0 |
| 12 | Open charm mesons and charmonia in magnetized strange hadronic matter显示文摘We investigate the in-medium masses of open charm mesons(D(D^(0),D^(+)),■(■^(0),D^(-)),D_(s)(D_(s)^(+),D_(s)^(-)))and charmonium states(J/ψ,ψ(3686),ψ(3770),χ_(c0),χ_(c2)) in strongly magnetized isospin asymmetric strange hadronic matter using a chiral effective model.In the presence of a magnetic field,the number and scalar densities of charged baryons have contributions from Landau energy levels.The mass modifications of open charm mesons result from their interactions with nucleons,hyperons,and the scalar fields(the non-strange field σ,strange field C and isovector field δ) in the presence of a magnetic field.The mass modifications of the charmonium states result from the modification of gluon condensates in a medium simulated by the variation in the dilaton field(χ) in the chiral effective model.The effects of finite quark masses are also incorporated in the trace of the energy-momentum tensor in quantum chromodynamics to investigate the mass shifts of charmonium states.The in-medium masses of open charm mesons and charmonia are observed to decrease with an increase in baryon density.The charged D^(+),D^(-),Z_(s)^(+),and D_(s)^(-)mesons have additional positive mass shifts due to Landau quantization in the presence of a magnetic field.The effects of the strangeness fraction are observed to be more dominant for ■ mesons compared with D mesons.The mass shifts of charmonia are observed to be larger in hyperonic media compared with nuclear media when the effect of the finite quark mass term is neglected.These medium mass modifications can have observable consequences on the production of the open charm mesons and charmonia in high-energy asymmetric heavy-ion collision experiments. | Amal Jahan C.S. | 13 | Biochemical and Metabolomics on Rice Cultivars显示文摘Plant metabolites are important for both plant life and human nutrition. However, the genetic control of plant metabolome remains largely unknown. Here, we performed a genetic analysis of the different rice metabolome and isozymes which are highly versatile and non-destructive as bio-markers. Five isozymes peroxidase, catalase, malate dehydrogenase, alcohol dehydrogenase(ADH), polyphenol oxidase were studied to characterize the thirty rice cultivars and two hybrids KRH-2 and KRH-4 along with their parental lines. Among the zymograms, ADH was found to be useful for the detection of cultivars, like CTH1, IR64, IR30864, with an Rm value of 0.549. The metabolomics of rice cultivars by using gas chromatography coupled with mass spectrometry instrument with selected reaction monitoring mode software identified the 66 metabolites in the rice samples, including amino, organic, fatty acids, alcohols and sugars(mono-/dis-accharides). All metabolites investigated varied significantly among rice samples. Jaya had the higher number of metabolites(15) with a peak for each metabolite, followed by Jyothi(13).
