| 1 | 高压实高庙子膨润土GMZ01的膨胀力特征显示文摘高放废物深地质处置中,缓冲/回填材料系统起着工程屏障、水力学屏障、化学屏障、传导和散失放射性废物衰变热等重要作用,是高放废物地质处置库长期安全性和稳定性的有效保障。前人研究表明,膨润土是理想的缓冲/回填材料。在归纳总结压实膨润土膨胀力的室内试验研究成果的基础上,采用恒体积试验法研究高压实高庙子膨润土GMZ01的膨胀力特性,该膨润土已经被确定为我国高放废物地质处置库首选缓冲材料。结果表明,高压实高庙子膨润土GMZ01膨胀力随时间的变化曲线是一条渐近线,而时间/膨胀力与时间之间存在很好的线性关系;膨胀力发展过程曲线与吸水量曲线具有明显的阶段性特征;高压实高庙子膨润土的膨胀力和干密度之间存在指数关系,干密度是影响膨胀力的一项重要的因素。所取得的膨胀力特性成果,对于高庙子膨润土膨胀性能的正确判定具有非常重要的意义。 | 叶为民 T.SCHANZ 钱丽鑫 王驹 ARIFIN | 2007 | 岩石力学与工程学报2007,26,S2: | 70 |
| 2 | Use of neuron-specific enolase to predict mild brain injury in motorcycle crash patients with maxillofacial fractures: A pilot study显示文摘Purpose: Mild traumatic brain injury (TBI) is common but accurate diagnosis and its clinical consequences have been a problem. Maxillofacial trauma does have an association with TBI. Neuron-specific enolase (NSE) has been developed to evaluate neuronl damage. The objective of this study was to investigate the accuracy of NSE serum levels to detect mild brain injury of patients with sustained maxillofacial fractures during motor vehicle accidents. Methods: Blood samples were drawn from 40 healthy people (control group) and 48 trauma patients who has sustained isolated maxillofacial fractures and mild brain injury in motor vehicle accidents. Brain injuries were graded by Glasgow Coma Scale. In the trauma group, correlations between the NSE serum value and different facial fracture sites were also assessed. Results: The NSE serum level (mean ± SD, ng/ml) in the 48 patients with maxillofacial fractures and mild TBI was 13.12 ± 9.68, significantly higher than that measured in the healthy control group (7.72 ± 1.82, p < 0.001). The mean NSE serum level (ng/ml) in the lower part of the facial skeleton (15.44 with SD 15.34) was higher than that in the upper facial part (12.42 with SD 7.68);and the mean NSE level (ng/ml) in the middle-and lower part (11.97 with SD 5.63) was higher than in the middle part (7.88 with SD 2.64). | 4 | Experimental and Numerical Investigation of the Effects of Passive Vortex Generators on Aludra UAV Performance显示文摘A study of the effects of passive vortex generators (VGs) on Aludra unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) aerodynamic characteristics is presented. Both experimental and numerical works are carried out where an array of VGs is attached on Aludra UAV's wing. The flow measurements are made at various angles of attack by using 3-axis component balance system. In the numerical investigation, the Reynolds-averaged Navier-Stokes (RANS) code FLUENT 6.3TM is used in the simulations with fully structured mesh with Spalart-Allmaras (S-A) turbulence model and standard wall function. The comparison between the experimental and numerical results reveals a satisfactory agreement. The parametric study shows that higher maximum lift coefficient is achieved when the VGs are placed nearer to the separation point. | 6 | Effect of SrCO_3 addition on the dynamic compressive strength of ZTA显示文摘Ceramic parts usually experience dynamic load in armor applications. Therefore, studying the dynamic behaviors of ceramics is important. Limited data are available on the dynamic behaviors of ceramics; thus, it is helpful to predict the dynamic strength of ceramics on the basis of their mechanical properties. In this paper, the addition of SrCO_3 into zirconia-toughened alumina(ZTA) was demonstrated to improve the fracture toughness of ZTA due to the formation of the SrAl_(12)O_(19)(SA6) phase. The porosity of ZTA was found to be increased by the addition of SrCO_3. These newly formed pores served as the nucleation sites of cracks under dynamic load; these cracks eventually coalesced to form damaged zones in the samples. | 7 | Flapping wing micro-aerial-vehicle: Kinematics, membranes, and flapping mechanisms of ornithopter and insect flight显示文摘The application of biomimetics in the development of unmanned-aerial-vehicles(UAV)has advanced to an exceptionally small scale of nano-aerial-vehicles(NAV), which has surpassed its immediate predecessor of micro-aerial-vehicles(MAV), leaving a vast range of development possibilities that MAVs have to offer. Because of the prompt advancement into the NAV research development, the true potential and challenges presented by MAV development were never solved,understood, and truly uncovered, especially under the influence of transition and low Reynolds number flow characteristics. This paper reviews a part of previous MAV research developments which are deemed important of notification; kinematics, membranes, and flapping mechanisms ranges from small birds to big insects, which resides within the transition and low Reynolds number regimes. This paper also reviews the possibility of applying a piezoelectric transmission used to produce NAV flapping wing motion and mounted on a MAV, replacing the conventional motorized flapping wing transmission. Findings suggest that limited work has been done for MAVs matching these criteria. | 17 | Ballistic impact properties of woven bamboo-woven E-glass-unsaturated polyester hybrid composites显示文摘In this study, a laminated woven bamboo/woven E glass/unsaturated polyester composite is developed to combat a ballistic impact from bullet under shooting test. The aim of this study is to understand the fundamental effects of the woven bamboo arrangement towards increasing ballistic resistance properties. The work focusses on the ballistic limit test known as NIJ V50, which qualifies materials to be registered for use in combat armor panels. The results show that the composites withstood 482.5 m/s ± 5 limit of bullet velocity, satisfying the NIJ test at level II.
