1Exosomes:key players in cancer and potential therapeutic strategy显示文摘Exosomes are extracellular vesicles secreted by most eukaryotic cells and participate in intercellular communication.The components of exosomes,including proteins,DNA,mRNA,microRNA,long noncoding RNA,circular RNA,etc.,which play a crucial role in regulating tumor growth,metastasis,and angiogenesis in the process of cancer development,and can be used as a prognostic marker and/or grading basis for tumor patients.Hereby,we mainly summarized as followed:the role of exosome contents in cancer,focusing on proteins and noncoding RNA;the interaction between exosomes and tumor microenvironment;the mechanisms that epithelial-mesenchymal transition,invasion and migration of tumor affected by exosomes;and tumor suppression strategies based on exosomes.Finally,the application potential of exosomes in clinical tumor diagnosis and therapy is prospected,which providing theoretical supports for using exosomes to serve precise tumor treatment in the clinic.Jie Dai Yangzhou Su Suye Zhong Li Cong Bang Liu Junjun Yang Yongguang Tao Zuping He Chao Chen Yiqun Jiang 2020Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2020,5,1:8
2Semibatch Emulsifier-free Emulsion Copolymerization of Methyl Methacrylate and n-Butyl Acrylate in the Presence of 2-Hydroxyethyl Methacrylate显示文摘The sendbatch emulsifier-free emulsion copolymerization of methyl methacrylate (MMA) and n-butyl acrylate (BA) in the presence of 2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate (HEMA) initiated by K2S2O8 (PSP) was studied. The average palticle diameter increases with an increase of total solids content, HEMA content, PSP content, ionic strength of the system and monomer feed rate, and decreases with the monomer feed ratio from 3/1 (MMA/BA mole.) to 1/3. The stability of this reaction system is improyed by adding HEMA as nonionic comonomer. 5Simultaneous enhancement of coercivity and electric resistivity of Nd-Fe-B magnets by Pr-Tb-Al-Cu synergistic grain boundary diffusion toward high-temperature motor rotors显示文摘To high-power permanent magnetic motors,it is critical for Nd-Fe-B magnets to maintain the desirable coercivity at high-temperature operating conditions.To address this,two approaches have been proven effective:(1)enhancing the room temperature coercivity;(2)reducing the eddy current loss.However,these two items are difficult to be simultaneously achieved.Here,the grain boundary diffusion(GBD)of the Pr-Tb-Al-Cu-based source is applied to enhance the coercivity and electric resistivity at room temperature from 1101 kA m-1 and 2.13×10–6Ωm to 1917 kA m-1 and 2.60×10–6Ωm,and those at 120°C from 384 kA m-1 and 4.31×10–6Ωm to 783 kA m-1 and 4.86×10–6Ωm,respectively.Such optimization is ascribed to the improved formation depth of Tb-rich 2:14:1 shells with large magnetocrystalline anisotropy and the increased intergranular Pr-based oxides with high electric resistivity,induced by the coordination effects of Tb and Pr,as proven by the atomic-scale observations and the first principles calculations.It thus results in the simultaneously improved output power and energy efficiency of the motor because of the combination of magnetic thermal stability enhancement and eddy current loss reduction,as theoretically confirmed by electromagnetic simulation.Jiayi He Jinwen Hu Bang Zhou Haoyang Jia Xiaolian Liu Zhenhua Zhang Lin Wen Lizhong Zhao Hongya Yu Xichun Zhong Xuefeng Zhang Zhongwu Liu 2023Journal of Materials Science & Technology2023,,23:1

18Prognostic analysis of related factors of adverse reactions to immunotherapy in advanced gastric cancer and establishment of a nomogram model显示文摘BACKGROUND Immunotherapy for advanced gastric cancer has attracted widespread attention in recent years.However,the adverse reactions of immunotherapy and its relationship with patient prognosis still need further study.In order to determine the association between adverse reaction factors and prognosis,the aim of this study was to conduct a systematic prognostic analysis.By comprehensively evaluating the clinical data of patients with advanced gastric cancer treated by immunotherapy,a nomogram model will be established to predict the survival status of patients more accurately.AIM To explore the characteristics and predictors of immune-related adverse reactions(irAEs)in advanced gastric cancer patients receiving immunotherapy with programmed death protein-1(PD-1)inhibitors and to analyze the correlation between irAEs and patient prognosis.METHODS A total of 140 patients with advanced gastric cancer who were treated with PD-1 inhibitors in our hospital from June 2021 to October 2023 were selected.Patients were divided into the irAEs group and the non-irAEs group according to whether or not irAEs occurred.Clinical features,manifestations,and prognosis of irAEs in the two groups were collected and analyzed.A multivariate logistic regression model was used to analyze the related factors affecting the occurrence of irAEs,and the prediction model of irAEs was established.The receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve was used to evaluate the ability of different indicators to predict irAEs.A Kaplan-Meier survival curve was used to analyze the correlation between irAEs and prognosis.The Cox proportional risk model was used to analyze the related factors affecting the prognosis of patients.RESULTS A total of 132 patients were followed up,of whom 63(47.7%)developed irAEs.We looked at the two groups’clinical features and found that the two groups were statistically different in age≥65 years,Ki-67 index,white blood cell count,neutrophil count,and regulatory T cell(Treg)count(all P<0.05).Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that Treg count was a protective factor affecting irAEs occurrence(P=0.030).The ROC curve indicated that Treg+Ki-67+age(≥65 years)combined could predict irAEs well(area under the curve=0.753,95%confidence interval:0.623-0.848,P=0.001).Results of the Kaplan-Meier survival curve showed that progressionfree survival(PFS)was longer in the irAEs group than in the non-irAEs group(P=0.001).Cox proportional hazard regression analysis suggested that the occurrence of irAEs was an independent factor for PFS(P=0.006).CONCLUSION The number of Treg cells is a separate factor that affects irAEs in advanced gastric cancer patients receiving PD-1 inhibitor immunotherapy.irAEs can affect the patients’PFS and result in longer PFS.Treg+Ki-67+age(≥65 years old)combined can better predict the occurrence of adverse reactions.Xu-Xu He Bang Du Tao Wu Hao Shen 2024World Journal of Gastrointestinal Oncology2024,16,4:0
