1Preparation, characterization and salt-resistance of a coal based super absorbent composite显示文摘Potassium humate was extracted from brown coal. A novel super absorbent composite, poly (acrylic acid-co-acryla-mide)/potassium humate (PAA-AM/KHA), was prepared by graft polymerization of acrylic acid, acrylamide and coal based potas-sium humate using N, N’-methylenebisacrylamide as a crosslinker and potassium peroxydisulfate as an initiator. The effects of reaction temperature, degree of neutralization of the poly (acrylic acid) and the amounts of crosslinker, initiator and potassium hu-mate were investigated. Salt resistance tests were also carried out. The composite prepared under optimal conditions had a potas-sium humate content of 10% and exhibited a water absorption of 770 g/g in distilled water, and 349, 286 and 41 g/g in 0.5 mol/L KCl, MgCl2 and AlCl3 solutions respectively. The results indicate that the salt resistance of PAA-AM/KHA was superior to that of poly (acrylic acid-co-acrylamide) because of the collaborative effect of functional groups of the coal based potassium humate. The PAA-AM/KHA micro powder was characterized by IR spectroscopy and the micrographic surface was characterized by scanning electron microscopy. Introduction of potassium humate into the poly (acrylic acid-co-acrylamide) structure creates a composite more suitable for use as a water-managing material in the renewal of arid and desert environments. 2Bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells transplantation promotes the release of endogenous erythropoietin after ischemic stroke显示文摘This study investigated whether bone marrow mesenchymal stem cell(BMSC) transplantation protected ischemic cerebral injury by stimulating endogenous erythropoietin. The model of ischemic stroke was established in rats through transient middle cerebral artery occlusion. Twenty-four hours later, 1 × 106 human BMSCs(h BMSCs) were injected into the tail vein. Fourteen days later, we found that h BMSCs promoted the release of endogenous erythropoietin in the ischemic region of rats. Simultaneously, 3 μg/d soluble erythropoietin receptor(s EPOR) was injected into the lateral ventricle, and on the next 13 consecutive days. s EPOR blocked the release of endogenous erythropoietin. The neurogenesis in the subventricular zone was less in the h BMSCs + s EPOR group than in the h BMSCs + heat-denatured s EPOR group. The adhesive-removal test result and the modified Neurological Severity Scores(m NSS) were lower in the h BMSCs + s EPOR group than in the heat-denatured s EPOR group. The adhesive-removal test result and m NSS were similar between the h BMSCs + heat-denatured s EPOR group and the h BMSCs + s EPOR group. 3Semaphorin 7a participants in pterygium by regulating vascular endothelial growth factor显示文摘AIM: To investigate the relationship between semaphorin 7a expression and cell proliferation and migration in pterygium fibroblasts. METHODS: Twenty-six patients with surgically diagnosed pterygium were enrolled, including 15 cases of primary pterygium and 11 cases of recurrent pterygium. In addition, 12 cases of normal conjunctival tissue were collected. The expression of semaphorin 7a in normal conjunctival tissue, primary pterygium and recurrent pterygium was detected by real-time polymerase chain reaction. Recurrent pterygium fibroblasts were isolated and cultured, and the expression of semaphorin 7a was silenced by small interfering RNA(siRNA) interference technique. Furthermore, the effects of si-semaphorin 7a interference on the mRNA and protein levels of β1-integrin, vascular endothelial growth factor A(VEGFA) and vascular endothelial growth factor receptor(VEGFR), and on fibroblast proliferation were analyzed. Transwell assay was used to detect the effect of semaphorin 7a interference on fibroblast migration. RESULTS: Semaphorin 7a was highly expressed in the primary pterygium and recurrent pterygium samples than that of the normal conjunctival tissue. Compared with the primary pterygium, the expression of semaphoring 7a in the recurrent pterygium samples was significantly increased(P<0.05). The mRNA and protein expression levels of β1-integrin, VEGFA and VEGFR were decreased after si-semaphorin 7a transfection, and as well as the cell proliferation and migration. 4Assignment and expression patterns of porcine muscle-specific isoform of phosphoglycerate mutase gene显示文摘It has been reported that the muscle-specific isoform (type M, PGAM2) of phosphoglycerate mutase (PGAM) is a housekeeping en- zyme; it catalyzes the conversion of 3-phosphoglycerate into 2-phosphoglycerate in the glycolysis process to release energy. It is encoded by the Pgam2 gene. In this study, the cDNA of the porcine Pgam2 was cloned. This gene contains an open reading frame of 765 bp en- coding a protein of 253 residues, and the predicted protein sequences share high similarity with other mammalians, 96% identity with humans, and 94% identity with mouse and rats. Pgam2 was mapped to SSC18q13-q21 by the RH panel. In this region, there are several QTLs, such as fat ratio, lean percentage, and diameter of muslce fiber, which affect meat production and quality. The reverse transcrip- tase-polymerase chain reaction revealed that the porcine Pgam2 gene was mainly expressed in the muscle tissue (skeletal muscle and cardiac muscle), and was expressed highly at skeletal muscle development stages (embryonic periods: 33, 65, and 90 days post-conception (dpc); postnatal pigs: 4 days and adult). This indicates that the Pgam2 gene plays an important role in muscle growth and development. 5DYNAMIC BEHAVIORS OF CONDUCTIVE CIRCULAR PLATE IN TIME-VARYING MAGNETIC FIELDS显示文摘In this study,we proposed an analytical solution for eddy currents as well as electromagnetic forces of a conductive circular plate in a time varying magnetic field.Specifically,an analytical series solution for eddy currents in a circular plate subjected to an axisymmetric time varying magnetic field has been proposed based on the T-method that has been widely used in the eddy current analysis of conductive and superconductive structures.Accordingly,the dynamic response,the dynamic instability and the magnetic damping of a circular plate in a transverse transient magnetic field as well as a stationary in-plane magnetic field have also been obtained.The analytical series solution proposed in this work as well as the subsequent numerical analysis not only confirmed the emergence of dynamic instability of a circular plate in a strong transverse magnetic field,but also demonstrated the existence of magneto-damping of a circular conductive plate in an in-plane magnetic field.The method developed in this paper provides a potential new possible way by which the analysis of the electromagnetic coupling problems of conductive structures can be simplified.Yuanwen Gao1 Bang Xu(Key Laboratory of Mechanics on Western Disaster and Environment,College of Civil Engineering and Mechanics,Lanzhou University,Lanzhou 730000,China) 2010Acta Mechanica Solida Sinica2010,23,1:4
6Molecular phylogenetic analyses redefine seven major clades and reveal 22 new generic clades in the fungal family Boletaceae显示文摘Mushrooms in the basidiomycete family Boletaceae are ecologically and economically very important.However,due to the morphological complexity and the limited phylogenetic information on the various species and genera of this fungal family,our understanding of its systematics and evolution remains rudimentary.In this study,DNA sequences of four genes(nrLSU,tef1-α,rpb1,and rpb2)were newly obtained from ca.200 representative specimens of Boletaceae.Our phylogenetic analyses revealed seven major clades at the subfamily level,namely Austroboletoideae,Boletoideae,Chalciporoideae,Leccinoideae,Xerocomoideae,Zangioideae,and the Pulveroboletus Group.In addition,59 genus-level clades were identified,of which 22 were uncovered for the first time.These 22 clades were mainly placed in Boletoideae and the Pulveroboletus Group.The results further indicated that the characters frequently used in the morphology-based taxonomy of Boletaceae,such as basidiospore ornamentation,the form of the basidioma,and the stuffed pores each had multiple origins within the family,suggesting that the use of such features for high-level classification of Boletaceae should be de-emphasized and combined with other characters.Gang Wu Bang Feng Jianping Xu Xue-Tai Zhu Yan-Chun Li Nian-Kai Zeng MdIqbal Hosen Zhu L.Yang 2014Fungal Diversity2014,,6:4
7Mechanism and catalytic performance for direct dimethyl ether synthesis by CO2 hydrogenation over CuZnZr/ferrierite hybrid catalyst显示文摘Direct synthesis of dimethyl ether(DME)by CO2 hydrogenation has been investigated over three hybrid catalysts prepared by different methods:co-precipitation,sol-gel,and solid grinding to produce mixed Cu,ZnO,ZrO2 catalysts that were physically mixed with a commercial ferrierite(FER)zeolite.The catalysts were characterized by N2 physisorption,X-ray diffraction(XRD),transmission electron microscopy(TEM),X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS),temperature programmed desorption of CO2(CO2-TPD),temperature programmed desorption of NH3(NH3-TPD),and temperature programmed H2 reduction(H2-TPR).The results demonstrate that smaller CuO and Cu crystallite sizes resulting in better dispersion of the active phases,higher surface area,and lower reduction temperature are all favorable for catalytic activity.The reaction mechanism has been studied using in situ diffuse reflectance infrared Fourier transform spectroscopy(DRIFTS).Methanol appears to be formed via the bidentate-formate(b-HCOO)species undergoing stepwise hydrogenation,while DME formation occurs from methanol dehydration and reaction of two surface methoxy groups.Qingtao Sheng Run-Ping Ye Weibo Gong Xiufeng Shi Bang Xu Morris Argyle Hertanto Adidharma Maohong Fan 2020Journal of Environmental Sciences2020,32,6:2
8Chiral metal-organic frameworks with tunable catalytic selectivity in asymmetric transfer hydrogenation reactions显示文摘Metal-organic frameworks(MOFs)have achieved great success in the field of heterogeneous catalysis,however,ifs still challenging to design MOF catalysts with enhanced selectivity.Here,we demonstrated a combination strategy of metal design and ligand design on the enantioselectivity—that is the enantioselectivities of chiral MOF(CMOF)catalysts could be significantly enhanced by the rational choice of metal ions with higher electronegativities and introducing sterically demanding groups into the ligands.Four isostructural Ca-,Sr-and Zn-based CMOFs were prepared from enantiopure phosphono-carboxylate ligands of 1,V-biphenol that are functionalized with 2,4,6-trimethyl-and 2,4,6-trifluoro-phenyl groups at the Supposition.The uniformly distributed metal phosphonates along the channels could act as Lewis acids and catalyze the asymmetric transfer hydrogenation of heteroaromatic imines(benzoxazines and quinolines).Particularly,the Ca-based MOF 1 with 2,4,6-trimethyl groups at the substituents exhibited enhanced catalytic performance,affording the highest enantioselectivity(up to 97%).It is also the first report of the heterogeneous catalyst with chiral non-noble metal phosphonate active sites for asymmetric transfer hydrogenation reactions with Hantzsch ester as the hydrogen source.The catalyst design strategy demonstrated here is expected to develop new types of chiral materials for asymmetric catalysis and other chiral applications.Xu Chen Zhiwei Qiao Bang Hou Hong Jiang Wei Gong Jinqiao Dong Hai-Yang Li Yong Cui Yan Liu 2021Nano Research2021,14,2:2
9Diet characteristics of wild sheep(Ovis ammon darwini) in the Mengluoke Mountains,Xinjiang,China显示文摘In most arid and semi-arid regions of the world, domestic livestock and native wildlife share pastures, and their competition for forage and habitat is thought to be a serious conservation issue. Moreover, unmanaged grazing by livestock can cause the population decline in wild ungulates. The diet of an animal species is a determining aspect of its ecological niche, and investigating its diet has been one of the initial steps in basic ecology study of a new species. To get an approximate understanding of the interspecific food relationships of argali(Ovis ammon darwini) between sexes, and sympatric domestic sheep and goats, we compared the diet compositions and diet-overlaps among these herbivores, i.e., male argali, female argali, domestic sheep, and domestic goats in the Mengluoke Mountains of Xinjiang, China by using micro-histological fecal analysis. Female argali, male argali, domestic sheep and domestic goat primarily consumed forbs(43.31%±4.86%), grass(36.02%±9.32%), forbs(41.01%±9.18%), and forbs(36.22%±10.61%), respectively in warm season. All these animals consumed mostly shrubs(female argali: 36.47%±7.56%; male argali: 47.28%±10.75%; domestic sheep: 40.46%±9.56%; and domestic goats: 42.88%±9.34%, respectively) in cold season. The diet-overlaps were relatively high among all species in cold season with values ranging from 0.88 to 0.94. Furthermore, Schoener's index measured between each possible pair of 4 herbivores increased from the warm season to the cold season. The results illustrate that the high degree of diet-overlap of argali and domestic livestock(sheep and goat) may pose a threat to the survival of the argali in cold season.
