| 1 | Lactic Acid Assisted Solvothermal Synthesis of BiOClxI1-x Solid Solutions as Excellent Visible Light Photocatalysts显示文摘A series of BiOClxI1-x(x=0,0.1,0.3,0.5,0.7,0.9,1.0)photocatalysts was firstly prepared by means of a facile solvothermal route with the help of lactic acid.The measured results show that the morphologies of the as-prepared samples are similar sheets with different thickness and diameters.Thinner nanosheets assembled flower-like BiOCI0.5I0.5 solid solution exhibited the highest photocatalytic activity and stability among the prepared samples for the degradation of methylene blue(MB)and methyl orange(MO)under the illumination of visible light.The excellent photocatalytic properties of BiOCI0.5I0.5 could be attributed to the high specific surface area,the suita-ble band gap energy and the lower recombination rate of the electrons and holes.In addition,catalyst BiOCI0.5I0.5 was further used to degradate a more complicated mixed dye(MCH-RhB+MB)system under visible light,displaying an excellent photocatalytic activity.Finally,the photocatalytic mechanism of catalyst BiOCI0.5I0.5 to degradate colorful dyes was proposed.The trapping experiments of active species indicated that the holes are the main active species for the degradation of the mixed dyes. | DUAN Chenglin SONG Jinling WANG Baoying LI Lun WANG Ruifen ZHANG Bangwen | 2019 | Chemical Research in Chinese Universities2019,35,2: | 4 |
| 2 | Relationship between topography and the distribution of understory vegetation in a Pinus massoniana forest in Southern China显示文摘The poor growth of understory vegetation and the severe losses of soil and water in Pinus massoniana forests have recently become serious concerns in an area in southern China with eroded red soil.The influence of topography on the spatial distribution of vegetation,however,has received little attention.This study combined several multivariate analyses to discern the complicated relationship between understory vegetation and topography.Thirty-six plots(10 m×10 m)were sampled in a field survey of the vegetation and topography in the central red-soil region.The distributions of the understory vegetation differed significantly amongst the topographies.Most plants grew in gullies,and few grew on ridges.The low coverage(25.2%)and number of species(5 per plot)of the vegetation on ridges was due to serious soil erosion.Surface curvature and slope aspect were the first and second most important topographic factors,respectively,affecting the distribution of the vegetation.The relationship between topography and distribution could be described by a linear model.Surface curvature or slope aspect alone,however,could only explain 22.2-59.2%of the variance in distribution.The adaptation of vegetation to specific topographies should be considered for restorations of P.massoniana forests in the study area.The results of this study will be helpful for selecting potential sites for seeding and vegetation restoration to improve the ecology of the study area.Further studies will be needed to identify the mechanism of the distribution of the understory vegetation in these P.massoniana forests. | Bangwen Wang Guanghui Zhang Jian Duan | 2015 | International Soil and Water Conservation Research2015,3,4: | 2 |
| 3 | Epoxy Resin/Nano Ni@C Composites Exhibiting NTC Effect with Tunable Resistivity显示文摘Epoxy resin/Ni@C nanoparticle composites with aligned microstructure were prepared by using a procedure of magnetic field assisted curing. The results show that the resistivity of composites exhibits negative temperature coeffcient (NTC) effect above room temperature, and can be adjusted by varying the content filler and the magnitude of magnetic field applied. Hill's quantum tunneling model was modified to understand the electrical conduction mechanism in the composites. | 6 | Study on the breakup length of circular impinging jet显示文摘Circular impinging jet, which is widely used in accelerated control cooling (ACC) equipment to accelerate the cooling of hot rolled plates, is subject to breakup, and may result in undesirable cooling effect. Therefore, the jet breakup should be avoided as possible in industrial production. The objective of this study is to find the relation of the processing parameters of the ACC equip- ment versus the breakup length of jet with weaker turbulence. To obtain quantitative findings, not only relative experimental study but also numerical simulation was carried out. | 7 | A comparison study of hydrogen storage properties of as-milled Sm_5Mg_(41) alloy catalyzed by CoS_2 and MoS_2 nano-particles显示文摘The influences of the catalysts of CoS_2 and MoS_2 nano-particles on microstructure and hydrogen storage behaviors of as-milled Sm_5Mg_(41) alloy have been compared in this work. The Sm_5Mg_(41)+ 5 wt.% M(M = CoS_2, MoS_2) alloys were prepared by milling the mechanical ground as-cast Sm_5Mg_(41) alloy powders(particle size ≤ 75 μm) with 5 wt.% CoS_2 or MoS_2 nano-particles(particle size ≤ 30 nm), respectively. The results demonstrate that the CoS_2 and MoS_2 nanoparticles are embedded into the alloy surface, which is nanostructure containing some crystal defects, such as dislocation, grain boundary and twin etc. Those microstructures play a beneficial role in reducing the total potential barrier that the hydrogen absorption or desorption reactions must overcome, hence improving the hydrogen storage kinetics of the alloys.The as-milled alloys are composed of Sm_5Mg_(41) and SmMg_3 phases, and ball milling refines their crystal grains. The MgH_2 and Sm_3 H_7 phases appear after hydrogenation, while Mg and Sm_3 H_7 phases exist after dehydrogenation. The dehydriding activation energy of M = CoS_2 and MoS_2 alloys are 101.67 and 68.25 kJ/mol H_2 respectively. The initial hydrogen desorption of M = CoS_2 and MoS_2 alloys are 252.9?C and 247.8?C. The hydrogenation and dehydrogenation enthalpy changes of M = MoS_2 alloy are a little smaller than that of M = CoS_2 alloy. | 8 | Kinetic Mechanism in the Process of Carbothermal Reduction of Ferrum Niobate显示文摘Ferrum niobate was synthesized by solid-phase sintering method in a vacuum carbon tube furnace at 1 300 ℃ for 180 min. The phase transformation of ferrum niobate carbothermal reduction process was studied by XRD. The reduction reactions of ferrum niobate in different temperature stages were determined by the TG-DSC curve. Meanwhile, according to the TG curve, the reaction kinetics parameters were calculated by A.W.Coats integration and the control steps in different temperature stages were ascertained. The results showed that the reduction of ferrum niobate starts at the temperature of 1 000 ℃, and the reduction process carries out in two steps according to sintering temperature.In a temperature range of 1 000-1 238 ℃(the first step), the main reduction products are Nb O2 and Fe; the kinetic equation of initial stage is [-ln(1-α)]4=kt, controlled by nucleation growth, and the apparent activation energy is 388 k J/mol; with the temperature increasing, the kinetic equation is α+(1-α)ln(1-α)=kt, which is the Valensi two-dimensional diffusion kinetic equation, and the apparent activation energy is 264.4 k J/mol. | 9 | Troy:Efficient Service Deployment for Windows Systems显示文摘The modern university computer lab and kindergarden through 12th grade classrooms require a centralized solution to efficiently manage a large number of desktops.The existing solutions either bring virtualization overhead in runtime or requires loading a large image over 30 GB leading to an unacceptable network latency.In this work,we propose Troy which takes advantage of the differencing virtual hard disk techniques in Windows systems.As such,Troy only loads the modifications made on one machine to all other machines.Troy consists of two modules that are responsible to generate an initial image and merge a differencing image with its parent image,respectively.Specifically,we identify the key fields in the virtual hard disk image that links the differencing image and the parent image and find the modified blocks in the differencing images that should be used to replace the blocks in the parent image.We further design a lazy copy solution to reduce the I/O burden in image merging.We have implemented Troy on bare metal machines.The evaluation results show that the performance of Troy is comparable to the native implementation in Windows,without requiring the Windows environment. | Deyu ZHANG Yu XIE Mucong XU En CHENG Xiaoyan KUI Bangwen HE Yunhao LI | 2024 | Chinese Journal of Electronics2024,33,1: | 0 |
