6Fluorogenic detection of mercury ion in aqueous environment using hydrogel-based AIE sensing films显示文摘A“turn-on”fluorescent sensing strategy was developed for ultrasensitive detection of heavy metal mercury ion(Hg2+)directly in water.It utilized an aqueous soluble aggregation-induced emission(AIE)-active probe,named 1,1,2,2-tetrakis(4-(1Htetrazol-5-yl)phenyl)ethene(TPE-4TA),composing of a luminescent tetraphenylene core and multiple anionic tetrazolate spawns.The probe retained dark when molecularly dissolved in water.However,mercury ions can ligate with multiple tetrazolate groups to form infinite coordination polymer particles spontaneously,thus inducing a fluorogenic AIE response for in situ analysis.Moreover,by embedding this AIE sensing molecules in a hydrophilic polyvinyl alcohol substrate,the resulting hydrogel film allowed in situ detection of Hg^(2+)on a laser-induced fluorescence analysis setup in aqueous environment.This strategy worked effectively in common aqueous environments with pH from 4 to 7.5 and showed high sensitivity(limit of detection down to 0.38 ppb/1.9 nM),good selectivity and a wide linearity range for quantification.This work may lead to a reliable and promising platform for on-site environmental water analysis.Shujun Wu Yujiao Yang Yao Cheng Shuodong Wang Zhibiao Zhou Pei Zhang Xinqi Zhu Baodui Wang Hua Zhang Sheng Xie Zebing Zeng Ben Zhong Tang 2023Aggregate2023,4,3:0
7Nanofibrils in 3D aligned channel arrays with synergistic effect of Ag/NPs for rapid and highly efficient electric field disinfection显示文摘The disinfection of waterborne pathogens from drinking water is extremely important for human health.Although countless efforts have been devoted for drinking water inactivation,challenges still exist in terms of relative high energy consumption and complicated to implement and maintain.Here,silver nanoparticles anchoring wood carbon(Ag NPs/WC)membrane is developed as cost-effective,high flux,scalable filter for highly efficient electric field disinfection of water.Under electric field of 4 V voltage,the designed membrane achieved more than 5 log(99.999%)disinfection performance for different model bacteria,including Escherichia coli(E.coli),Enterococcus faecalis(E.faecalis),Salmonella enterica serovar Typhimirium(S.Typhimurium)and Bacillus subtilis(B.subtilis)with a high flux of 3.8 x 103 L m^(-2)h^(-1),extremely low energy consumption of 2 J L^(-1)m^(-2)and fantastic durability(7 days).The high disinfection performance of Ag NPs/WC membrane is attributed to the synergistic disinfection of carbon nanofibrils,Ag nanoparticles as well as the low tortuous structure of the channels in wood carbon.The Ag NPs/WC membrane presents a promising strategy for point-of-use drinking water electric field disinfection treatment.Zi Yang Hongyuhang Ni Pu Liu Hanwen Liu Ke Yang Zhengze Zhang Baodui Wang Xiangkai Li Fengjuan Chen 2021Chinese Chemical Letters2021,32,10:0
