| 3 | Associations between haemodynamics and wall enhancement of intracranial aneurysm显示文摘Background and purpose Previous studies have reported about inflammation processes(IPs)that play important roles in aneurysm formation and rupture,which could be driven by blood flow.IPs can be identified using aneurysmal wall enhancement(AWE)on high-resolution black-blood MRI(BB-MRI)and blood flow haemodynamics can be demonstrated by four-dimensional-flow MRI(4D-flow MRI).Thus,this study investigated the associations between AWE and haemodynamics in unruptured intracranial aneurysms(IA)by combining 4D-flow MRI and high-resolution BB-MRI.Materials and methods Between April 2014 and October 2017,48 patients with 49 unruptured IA who underwent both 4D-flow MRI and high-resolution BB-MRI were retrospectively included in this study.The haemodynamic parameters demonstrated using 4D-flow MRI were compared between different AWE patterns using the Kruskal-Wallis test and ordinal regression.Results The results of Kruskal-Wallis test showed that the average wall shear stress in the IA(WSSavg-IA),maximum through-plane velocity in the adjacent parent artery,inflow jet patterns and the average vorticity in IA(vorticityavg-IA)were significantly associated with the AWE patterns.Ordinal regression analysis identified WSSavg-IA(p=0.002)and vorticityavg-IA(p=0.033)as independent predictors of AWE patterns.Conclusion A low WSS and low average vorticity were independently associated with a high AWE grade for IAs larger than 4 mm.Therefore,WSS and average vorticity could predict AWE and circumferential AWE. | Miaoqi Zhang Fei Peng Xin Tong Xin Feng Yunduo Li Huijun Chen Hao Niu Baorui Zhang Guangrong Song Youxiang Li Peng Liu Aihua Liu Rui Li | 2021 | Stroke & Vascular Neurology2021,6,3: | 7 |

| 5 | Bifunctional Oxygen Electrocatalyst of Mesoporous Ni/NiO Nanosheets for Flexible Rechargeable Zn–Air Batteries显示文摘One approach to accelerate the stagnant kinetics of both the oxygen reduction and evolution reactions(ORR/OER)is to develop a rationally designed multiphase nanocomposite,where the functions arising from each of the constituent phases,their interfaces,and the overall structure are properly controlled.Herein,we successfully synthesized an oxygen electrocatalyst consisting of Ni nanoparticles purposely interpenetrated into mesoporous NiO nanosheets(porous Ni/NiO).Benefiting from the contributions of the Ni and NiO phases,the well-established pore channels for charge transport at the interface between the phases,and the enhanced conductivity due to oxygen-deficiency at the pore edges,the porous Ni/NiO nanosheets show a potential of 1.49 V(10 mA cm^-2)for the OER and a half-wave potential of 0.76 V for the ORR,outperforming their noble metal counterparts.More significantly,a Zn-air battery employing the porous Ni/NiO nanosheets exhibits an initial charging-discharging voltage gap of 0.83 V(2 mA cm^-2),specific capacity of 853 mAh gZn^-1 at 20 mA cm^-2,and long-time cycling stability(120 h).In addition,the porous Ni/NiO-based solid-like Zn-air battery shows excellent electrochemical performance and flexibility,illustrating its great potential as a next-generation rechargeable power source for flexible electronics. | Peitao Liu Jiaqi Ran Baorui Xia Shibo Xi Daqiang Gao John Wang | 2020 | Nano-Micro Letters2020,12,5: | 4 |

| 8 | Hyperthermia enhances the anticancer-drug induced cytotoxicity in hepatocellular carcinoma cell line SMMC-7721显示文摘Objective: Hyperthermia is an attractive addition to multidisciplinary approaches to clinical cancer treatment. The efficiency of hyperthermia depends on the elevation of the temperature and the duration of treatment. It has been reported that in vitro and in vivo hyperthermia enhanced the cytotoxic effect of certain anticancer drugs. However, this enhancement varies, depending on the drug used and the scheduling of treatments. Thus, the combination effect of chemotherapy and hyperthermia remains unclear. In this study, we aimed to investigate whether concurrent exposure of human hepatocellular carcinoma cells SMMC-7721 to chemotherapeutic agents andhyperthermia could increase anticancer effects. Methods: Two chemotherapeutic agents, cisplatin and hydroxycamptothecin, were applied. The MTT assay was performed to evaluate the growth inhibition of SMMC-7721 induced by anticancer drugs with and without hyperthermia. Flow cytometric analysis was used for the assessment of apoptosis after treatments. Results: The percentages of growth inhibition of SMMC-7721 induced by cisplatin(10 μg/ml) alone, hydroxycamptothecin (1 μg/ml) alone, hyperthermia alone, cisplatin and hyperthermia, hydroxycamptothecin and hyperthermia, were 20.77%, 13.65%, 32.46%, 62.76%, 71.89%, respectively. The percentages of apoptosis of five treatments are 5.56%, 3.96%, 10.16%, 24.32%, 20.42%, respectively. Conclusion: While both hyperthermia and anticancer drugs can individually induce apoptosis and anti-proliferation effect, the combination of the two treatments induce significantly higher apoptosis and cytotoxicity than hyperthermia or anticancer drugs treatment alone. | 9 | Effect of La_(2)O_(3) addition on the synthesis of tungsten nanopowder via combustion-based method显示文摘In this study, the influences of La_(2)O_(3) added on the phase, morphology and reduction process of tungsten oxide prepared by solution combustion synthesis(SCS) were investigated for the first time. And tungsten nanopowders with different La_(2)O_(3) doping amount(0.5~5.0 wt%) were successfully prepared by SCS and followed hydrogen reduction. The results showed that with the increase of La_(2)O_(3) addition,the product synthesized by SCS changed from needle-like W_(18) O_(49) to irregularly granulated H0.53 WO3 and the complete reduction temperature also increased form 700°C to 850°C. The densification behavior of as-prepared W nanopowders revealed that the densification inhibitory effect of La_(2)O_(3) was enhanced as the La_2O_3 addition increased.
