1Modes of occurrence of arsenic in high-arsenic coal by extended X-ray absorption fine structure spectroscopy显示文摘The concentration ranges of As and Sb in six Late Permian high-arsenic coals collected from Xingren and Xingyi, Guizhou Province are 94.1 μg·g -1-3 2 and 8 1 μg·g -1-120 μg·g -1, respectively. Based on the mineralogical analysis, no arsenic and arsenic-bearing minerals are detected in these samples and arsenic occurs in coal macerals. By extended X-ray absorption fine structure(EXAFS) spectroscopy, we have found that arsenic in these high-arsenic coal samples coordinates with oxygen; the coordination number of As with oxygen for these samples is 4 except one sample(H-9) for which the coordination number of As is 3. Therefore, arsenic in these high-arsenic coals does not occur in sulfide minerals, but occurs in arsenate or arsenite phase, and the preponderance of As is in arsenate of As 5+.Fenghua Zhao Deyi Ren Baoshan Zheng Tiandou Hu Tao Liu 1998Chinese Science Bulletin1998,43,19:7

4Fine relocation, mechanism, and tectonic indications of middle-small earthquakes in the Central Tibetan Plateau显示文摘The medium-small earthquakes that occurred in the middle part of Tibetan Plateau(32°N–36°N, 90°E–93°E) from August 2016 to June 2017 were relocated using the absolute earthquake location method Hypo2000. Compared to the reports of Chinese Seismological Networks, our relocation results are more clustered on the whole, the horizontal location differences exceed 10 km, and the focal depths are concentrated in 0–8 km, which indicates that the upper crust inside the Tibetan Plateau is tectonically active. In June2017 altogether eight earthquakes above magnitude 3.0 took place; their relocated epicenters are concentrated around Gêladaindong.The relocation results of M<3.0 small earthquakes also showed obvious differences. Therefore, we used the CAP method to invert for the focal mechanisms of the M ≥3.0 earthquakes; results generally tally with the surface geological structures, indicating that the Tibetan Plateau is still under the strong compressional force from the India Plate. 6Geochemical process of fluorine in soil显示文摘Fluorine is in the dynamic balance of two geochemical processes, enrichment and leaching, reflecting the adsorption and desorption of fluoride by clay minerals, respectively. The two geochemical processes of fluorine in soil are influenced by factors including geochemical characteristics of soil and clay minerals, pH and sanity of soil solutions, climate, grazing and agriculture activities. 7Public cloud computing for seismological research:Calculating large-scale noise cross-correlations using ALIYUN显示文摘The amount of seismological data is rapidly increasing with accumulating observational time and increasing number of stations, requiring modern technique to provide adequate computing power. In present study, we proposed a framework to calculate large-scale noise crosscorrelation functions(NCFs) using public cloud service from ALIYUN. The entire computation is factorized into small pieces which are performed parallelly on specified number of virtual servers provided by the cloud. Using data from most seismic stations in China, five NCF databases are built. The results show that, comparing to the time cost using a single server, the entire time can be reduced over two orders of magnitude depending number of evoked virtual servers. This could reduce computation time from months to less than 12 hours. Based on obtained massive NCFs, the global body waves are retrieved through array interferometry and agree well with those from earthquakes. 8Distribution and affecting factors of selenium in soil in the high-Se environment of Yutangba mini-landscape显示文摘SELENIUM is an indispensable trace element to human beings and normal animals but if found in excessively high dietary concentrations, it can cause poisoning. The most severe example of selenium poisoning occurred at Yutangba, a typical Se-rich area in China which is situated in the northern part of ShuangheTown about 81 km east of En’shi City of the southwestern Hubei Province and the only place in the worldwhere people suffered from selenosis. In this area selenium is present mainly in the carbonaceoussiliceous rocks and carbonaceous shales of the Upper Permian Maokou Formation 210 m north of the Yutangba area. Selenium concentrations in Se-rich carbonaceous siliceous rock samples collected byZheng and Song were estimated at 6 471 mg/kg and 8 390 mg/kg, respectively. 9Progress and prospects of horizontal well fracturing technology for shale oil and gas reservoirs显示文摘By systematically summarizing horizontal well fracturing technology abroad for shale oil and gas reservoirs since the “13th Five-Year Plan”, this article elaborates new horizontal well fracturing features in 3D development of stacked shale reservoirs, small well spacing and dense well pattern, horizontal well re-fracturing, fracturing parameters optimization and cost control. In light of requirements on horizontal well fracturing technology in China, we have summarized the technological progress in simulation of multi-fracture propagation, horizontal well frac-design, electric-drive fracturing equipment, soluble tools and low-cost downhole materials and factory-like operation. 10Fluorine in drinking water and urine in the urban and rural areas of northwestern China——Its determination by a fluoride ion selective electrode显示文摘In this study, the author determined fluorine in drinking water and urine of residents who are divided into four age groups (5, 12, 35-44, 65-74 aged), living in Huangling City, Shaanxi Province and at 6 villages of Qin'an County, Gansu Province, P.R.China. Some residents are living in fluorine exposure areas. A total of 929 residents (463 females and 466 males) involved in the study were selected from 7 tap water systems. Drinking water samples were collected from each area and analyzed using the fluoride ion-selective method. No positive correlation relationship was found between fluorine concentrations in urine and those in drinking water in the area where the fluorine concentrations of drinking water are within the range of 1-2 mg/L. The fluorine absorbed by resistents of different ages is different in amount. With the same concentrations of fluorine in drinking water, more fluorine would be absorbed by young residents than old residents. 11OTUD5 promotes innate antiviral and antitumor immunity through deubiquitinating and stabilizing STING显示文摘Stimulator of interferon genes(STING)is an adaptor protein that is critical for effective innate antiviral and antitumor immunity.The activity of STING is heavily regulated by protein ubiquitination,which is fine-tuned by both E3 ubiquitin ligases and deubiquitinases.Here,we report that the deubiquitinase OTUD5 interacts with STING,cleaves its K48-linked polyubiquitin chains,and promotes its stability.Consistently,knockout of OTUD5 resulted in faster turnover of STING and subsequently impaired type I IFN signaling following cytosolic DNA stimulation.More importantly,Lyz2-Cre Otud5^(fl/Y) mice and CD11-Cre Otud5^(fl/Y) mice showed more susceptibility to herpes simplex virus type 1(HSV-1)infection and faster development of melanomas than their corresponding control littermates,indicating that OTUD5 is indispensable for STING-mediated antiviral and antitumor immunity.Our data suggest that OTUD5 is a novel checkpoint in the cGAS-STING cytosolic DNA sensing pathway.Yunyun Guo Fei Jiang Lingli Kong Haifeng Wu Honghai Zhang Xiaorong Chen Jian Zhao Baoshan Cai Yanqi Li Chunhong Ma Fan Yi Lei Zhang Bingyu Liu Yi Zheng Lingqiang Zhang Chengjiang Gao 2021Cellular & Molecular Immunology2021,18,8:2
