| 1 | A general theoretical principle for single-phase convection heat transfer enhancement显示文摘The main methods of single-phase convection heat transfer enhancement are analyzed in this paper, and the unity of contradiction between heat transfer enhancement and energy consumption(or exergy destruction)is expounded.The thermodynamic relationship between heat(or exergy)transfer efficiency and energy consumption(or exergy destruction)as well as driving forces is established,and a general theoretical principle for single-phase convection heat transfer enhancement is further obtained. The principle shows that temperature gradient field distribution and velocity field distribution constrain each other,and that the optimum heat transfer efficiency can be obtained when they are synergetic.If the level of the synergy of temperature gradient field distribution with velocity field distribution is determined,the relative uniform temperature gradient is required,and vice versa.The principle also shows the relationship of relative temperature gradient with specific heat and coefficient of heat conductivity.The deduced results can be used as a theoretical guidance for single-phase convection heat transfer enhancement and optimum design of heat exchangers. | WANG SongPing CHEN QingLin ZHANG BingJian HUA Ben | 2009 | Science China(Technological Sciences)2009,52,12: | 12 |
| 2 | Long noncoding RNA UC.98 stabilizes atherosclerotic plaques by promoting the proliferation and adhesive capacity in murine aortic endothelial cells显示文摘Pathological studies have shown that the vulnerability of plaques affects outcomes in patients with atherosclerosis(AS),a chronic inflammatory disease and common cause of morbidity and mortality worldwide.Although emerging technologies have enabled early diagnosis of AS with high-risk vulnerable plaques,more accurate and noninvasive diagnostic methods are urgently required.To this end,molecules involved in genetic or epigenetic regulation of the vulnerability of atherosclerotic plaques have been extensively studied.Here,we evaluated long noncoding RNA(IncRNA)variability by microarray assay in murine aortic endothelial cells(MAECs)bearing wulnerable plaques and identified the novel functional IncRNA UC.98,whose expression pattern was associated with the vulnerability of atherosclerotic plaques.Consisient with this,clinical statistics comparing the peripheral blood specimens from sets of patients with AS with or without vulnerable plaques confirmed the linear relationship between the expression pattern of UC.98 and plaque instabilty.Moreover,MTT assays and western blot analysis showed that silencing of intrinsic UC 98 in MAECs not only suppressed cell proliferation but also decreased the expressions of vascular cell adhesion molecule-1 and intercellular adhesion molecule-1,thereby inactivating the nuclear factorkB pathway.In conclusion,our results highlighted the pivotal role of UC.98 in regulating the vulnerability of plaques during AS progression and suggested that UC.98 may be a biomarker of the early diagnosis and prognosis of AS with vulnerable plaques and a potential therapeutic target for slowing AS progression. | Zixu Fan Ying Zhang Danrui Xiao Jianwei Ma Hua Liu Linghong Shen Min Zhang Ben He | 2020 | Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2020,52,2: | 3 |

| 8 | Facile fabrication of highly conductive, waterproof, and washable e-textiles for wearable applications显示文摘曰ectronic textiles(e-textiles),known as a newly-developed innovation combining the textile and electronic technologies,are burgeoning as the next-generation of wearable electronics for lots of promising applications.However,a big concern is the durability of the e-textiles during practical using.Here,we describe a facile method tofabricate mechanically and electrically durable e-textiles by chemical deposition of silver nanoparticles(AgNPs)on widely used cotton fabric.The interface between AgNPs and fabric was tightly strengthened by the bioinspired polydopamine,and a highly waterproof and anticorrosive surface was further obtained by modifying with a fluorine containing agent of 1H,1H,2H,2/~/-perfuorodecanethiol(PFDT).In addition to the low sheet resistance of 0.26 ohm/sq and high conductivity of 233.4 S/cm,the e-textiles present outstanding stability to different mechanical deformations including ultrasonication,bending and machine washing.Moreover,thanks to the surface roughness of AgNPs and low surface energy of PFDT,a superhydrophobic surface,with a water contact angle of ca.152°,was further obtained,endowing the e-textiles excellent anti-corrosion to water,acid/alkaline solution and various liquids(e.g.,milk,coffee and tea).Finally,the application of this highly conductive e-textiles in wearable thermal therapy is demonstrated.Together with the facile,all-solution-based,and environmentally friendly fabrication protocol,the e-textiles show great potential of large-scale applications in wearable electronics. | Ben Niu Su Yang Tao Hua Xiao Tian MingKin Koo | 2021 | Nano Research2021,14,4: | 2 |
| 9 | Chicory polysaccharides alleviate high-fat diet-induced non-alcoholic fatty liver disease via alteration of lipid metabolism-and inflammation-related gene expression显示文摘Administration of chicory polysaccharides(CP) can modify lipid metabolism, improve dyslipidemia, and reduce liver inflammation, all of which may help alleviate non-alcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD). However, the underlying mechanisms remain unclear. This study aimed to gain further understanding of the potential molecular mechanisms that mediate the protective effects of CP against NAFLD via transcriptomic and metabolomic analyses. Hepatic RNA-sequencing analysis demonstrated that long-term intake of CP restored expression of lipid metabolism-related genes Xbp1, Insig2, and Cth in NAFLD rats, thereby inhibiting de novo lipogenesis. Moreover, CP consumption restored expression levels of genes involved in pro-inflammatory responses, such as Irf1. In addition, metabolic data confirmed that CP treatment increased levels of L-palmitoylcarnitine and hexadecanoyl-Co A, implying that CP administration can promote hepatic fatty acid β-oxidation.
