1Baihui(DU20)-penetrating-Qubin(GB7) acupuncture inhibits apoptosis in the perihemorrhagic penumbra显示文摘Baihui(DU20)-penetrating-Qubin(GB7) acupuncture can inhibit inflammatory reactions and activate signaling pathways related to proliferation after intracerebral hemorrhage.However,there is no research showing the relationship between this treatment and cell apoptosis.Rat models of intracerebral hemorrhage were established by injecting 60 μL of autologous blood into the right side of the caudate-putamen.Six hours later,the needle traveled subcutaneously from the Baihui acupoint to Qubin acupoint.The needle was alternately rotated(180 ± 10 turns/min) manually along clockwise and counter-clockwise directions.Stimulation lasted for 7 days,and was performed three times each for 6 minutes with 6-minute intervals between stimulations.Rats intraperitoneally receiving Sonic hedgehog pathway activator,purmorphamine(1 mg/kg per day),served as positive controls.Motor and sensory function were assessed using the Ludmila Belayev test.Extent of pathological changes were measured in the perihemorrhagic penumbra using hematoxylin-eosin staining.Apoptosis was examined by terminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase(Td T)-mediated d UTP nick end labeling assay.Expression of smoothened(Smo) and glioma-associated homolog 1(Gli1) was determined by western blot assay.Our results showed that Baihui-penetrating-Qubin acupuncture promoted recovery of motor and sensory function,reduced the apoptotic cell percentage in the perihemorrhagic penumbra,and up-regulated Smo and Gli1 expression.We conclude that Baihui-penetrating-Qubin acupuncture can mitigate hemorrhage and promote functional recovery of the brain in a rat model of intracerebral hemorrhage,possibly by activating the Sonic hedgehog pathway.Beng Zhang Xiao-Hong Dai Xue-Ping Yu Wei Zou Wei Teng Xiao-Wei Sun Wei-Wei Yu Hao Liu Hui Wang Meng-Juan Sun Meng Li 2018Neural Regeneration Research2018,13,9:9
2Optimization Strategy Based on Deep Reinforcement Learning for Home Energy Management显示文摘With the development of a smart grid and smart home,massive amounts of data can be made available,providing the basis for algorithm training in artificial intelligence applications.These continuous improving conditions are expected to enable the home energy management system(HEMS)to cope with the increasing complexities and uncertainties in the enduser side of the power grid system.In this paper,a home energy management optimization strategy is proposed based on deep Q-learning(DQN)and double deep Q-learning(DDQN)to perform scheduling of home energy appliances.The applied algorithms are model-free and can help the customers reduce electricity consumption by taking a series of actions in response to a dynamic environment.In the test,the DDQN is more appropriate for minimizing the cost in a HEMS compared to DQN.In the process of method implementation,the generalization and reward setting of the algorithms are discussed and analyzed in detail.The results of this method are compared with those of Particle Swarm Optimization(PSO)to validate the performance of the proposed algorithm.The effectiveness of applied data-driven methods is validated by using a real-world database combined with the household energy storage model.Yuankun Liu Dongxia Zhang Hoay Beng Gooi 2020CSEE Journal of Power and Energy Systems2020,6,3:9

4Using Airgun Source Signals to Study Regional Wave Velocity Changes before and after the Yunlong M_S5.0 and Yangbi M_S5.1 Earthquakes显示文摘On the basis of the airgun source signals recorded by the stations from January,2016 to June,2017,we use cross-correlation detection technology to obtain the characteristics of the stable phase travel time change of each station.We used the Yunlong MS5.0 and Yangbi MS5.1 earthquakes as samples.According to regional characteristics,13 stations with high signal-to-noise ratios and complete data were selected(including 3 fixed stations and 10 active source stations).They are divided into four regions,and on the basis of the GNSS baseline data,the characteristics of regional wave velocity changes before and after the earthquake are analyzed.The results show that the station phase travel time change and the regional stress characteristics represented by the GNSS baseline data have good correlation in the short-term.Due to different degrees of regional stress,there are differences in the travel time changes of different stations in the four regions.Before the Yunlong MS5.0 and Yangbi MS5.1 earthquakes,with regional stress adjustment,there is an upward trend in the travel time changes of related stations in the adjacent areas of up to 0.02 s.The difference is that there are differences in the time nodes and duration of the travel time anomalies,and there is a reverse descent process after the Yangbi MS5.1 earthquake.There are different degrees of travel time fluctuations in the relevant stations before and after the two earthquakes,but the fluctuation range before and after the earthquake was small.Compared with the water level change of the reservoir,the adjustment of the regional stress is more likely to have a substantial impact on the travel time changes of the relevant stations.YANG Jianwen LI Lei ZHANG Pengying YE Beng HE Yingwen CHEN Jia CHA Wenjian 2019Earthquake Research in China2019,33,2:4
5Data-driven Decision-making Strategies for Electricity Retailers:A Deep Reinforcement Learning Approach显示文摘With the continuous development of the electricity market,the electricity retailers,as the intermediaries between producers and consumers,have emerged in some of the liberalized electricity markets.Meanwhile,the electricity retailer faces many increasingly significant challenges from the complexities and uncertainties in both the supply and consumption sides.This paper applies a data-driven decision-making strategy via Advantage Actor-Critic(A2C)and Deep Q-Learning(DQN)for the electricity retailers.The retailers’profits and consumers’costs are both taken into account.This study verifies that the applied data-driven methods can handle the decision-making problem as well as promote the profitability of retailers in the electricity market.Furthermore,A2C is more appropriate than DQN in our simulation.The effectiveness of the applied data-driven methods is validated by using real-world data.Yuankun Liu Dongxia Zhang Hoay Beng Gooi 2021CSEE Journal of Power and Energy Systems2021,7,2:2

7Passivation of degradation path enables high performance perovskite nanoplatelet lasers with high operational stability显示文摘MAPbI_(3)perovskite has attracted widespread interests for developing low-cost near infrared semiconductor gain media.However,it faces the instability issue under operation conditions,which remains a critical challenge.It is found that the instability of the MAPbI_(3)nanoplatelet laser comes from the thermal-induced degradation progressing from the surface defects towards neighboring regions.By using PbI_(2) passivation,the defect-initiated degradation is significantly suppressed and the nanoplatelet degrades in a layer-by-layer way,enabling the MAPbI_(3)laser to sustain for 4500 s(2.7×10^(7) pulses),which is nearly three times longer than that of the nanoplatelet laser without passivation.Meanwhile,the PbI_(2) passivated MAPbI_(3)nanoplatelet laser with the nanoplatelet cavity displays a maximum quality factor up to∼7800,the highest reported for all MAPbI_(3)nanoplatelet cavities.Furthermore,a high stability MAPbI_(3)nanoplatelet laser that can last for 8500 s(5.1×10^(7) pulses)is demonstrated based on a dual passivation strategy,by retarding the defect-initiated degradation and surface-initiated degradation simultaneously.This work provides in-depth insights for understanding the operating degradation of perovskite lasers,and the dual passivation strategy paves the way for developing high stability near infrared semiconductor laser media.GUOHUI LI HUIHUI PI YANFU WEI BOLIN ZHOU YA GAO RONG WEN YUYING HAO HAN ZHANG BENG S.ONG YANXIA CUI 2022Photonics Research2022,10,6:2

9A real-time AI-assisted seismic monitoring system based on new nodal stations with 4G telemetry and its application in the Yangbi M_(S) 6.4 aftershock monitoring in southwest China显示文摘A rapidly deployable dense seismic monitoring system which is capable of transmitting acquired data in real time and analyzing data automatically is crucial in seismic hazard mitigation after a major earthquake.However,it is rather difficult for current seismic nodal stations to transmit data in real time for an extended period of time,and it usually takes a great amount of time to process the acquired data manually.To monitor earthquakes in real time flexibly,we develop a mobile integrated seismic monitoring system consisting of newly developed nodal units with 4G telemetry and a real-time AI-assisted automatic data processing workflow.The integrated system is convenient for deployment and has been successfully applied in monitoring the aftershocks of the Yangbi M_(S) 6.4 earthquake occurred on May 21,2021 in Yangbi County,Dali,Yunnan in southwest China.The acquired seismic data are transmitted almost in real time through the 4G cellular network,and then processed automat-ically for event detection,positioning,magnitude calculation and source mechanism inversion.From tens of seconds to a couple of minutes at most,the final seismic attributes can be presented remotely to the end users through the integrated system.From May 27 to June 17,the real-time system has detected and located 7905 aftershocks in the Yangbi area before the internal batteries exhausted,far more than the catalog provided by China Earthquake Networks Center using the regional permanent stations.The initial application of this inte-grated real-time monitoring system is promising,and we anticipate the advent of a new era for Real-time Intelligent Array Seismology(RIAS),for better monitoring and understanding the subsurface dynamic pro-cesses caused by Earth's internal forces as well as anthropogenic activities.Junlun Li Huajian Yao Baoshan Wang Yang Yang Xin Hu Lishu Zhang Beng Ye Jun Yang Xiaobin Li Feng Liu Guoyi Chen Chang Guo Wen Yang 2022Earthquake Research Advances2022,2,2:1
10Effect of formulation of alginate beads on their mechanical behavior and stiffness显示文摘The aim of this work was to determine the effect of formulation of alginate beads on their mechani-cal behavior and stiffness when compressed at high speed. The alginate beads were formulated using different types and concentrations of alginate and gelling cations and were produced using an extrusion-dripping method. Single wet beads were compressed at a speed of 40 mm/min,and their elastic limits were investigated,and the corresponding force versus displacement data were obtained. The Young's moduli of the beads were determined from the force versus displacement data using the Hertz's contact mechanics theory. The alginate beads were found to exhibit plastic behavior when they were compressed beyond 50% with the exception of copper-alginate beads for which yield occured at lower deformation. Alginate beads made of higher guluronic acid contents and gelling cations of higher chemical afnity were found to have greater stiffness. Increasing the concentration of alginate and gelling ions also generated a similar effect. 13An accessible seismological dataset of 2021 Yangbi M_(S)6.4 earthquake显示文摘A M_(S)6.4 earthquake occurred on 21 May 2021 in Yangbi county,Dali prefecture,Yunnan,China,at 21:48 Beijing Time(13:48 UTC).Earthquakes with an M3.0 or higher occurred before and after the main shock.Seismic data analysis is essential for the in-depth investigation of the 2021 Yangbi M_(S)6.4 earthquake sequence and the seismotectonics of northwestern Yunnan.Institute of Geophysics,China Earthquake Administration(CEA),has compiled a dataset of seismological observations from 157 broadband stations located within 500 km of the epicenter,and has made this dataset available to the earthquake science research community.The dataset(total file size:329 GB)consists of event waveforms with a sampling frequency of 100 sps collected from 18 to 28 May 2021,20-Hz and 100-Hz continuous waveforms collected from 12 to 31 May 2021,and seismic instrument response files.To promote data sharing,the dataset also includes the seismic event waveforms from 20 to 22 May 2021 recorded at 50 stations of the ongoing Binchuan Active Source Geophysical Observation Project,for which the data protection period has not expired.Sample waveforms of the main shock are included in the appendix of this article and can be downloaded from the Earthquake Science website.The event and continuous waveforms are available from the Earthquake Science Data Center website(www.esdc.ac.cn)on application.Shuguang Wang Hui Yang Weilai Wang Fang Wang Zheng Liu Wei Yang Weitao Wang Yunpeng Zhang Lu Li Jiupeng Hu Xiaobin Li Wenjian Cha Beng Ye Hongbo Zhu Jun Yang 2021Earthquake Science2021,34,5:0
14Impedance Modeling and Stability Analysis of Dual Active Bridge Converter with LC Input Filter显示文摘The dual active bridge(DAB)converter is gaining more and more attention in various applications such as energy storage systems,electric vehicles and smart grids.To improve the quality of the input current,a LC filter is often cascaded at the input side of the DAB converter.However,there are instable problems of this cascaded system due to the impedance interactions of the DAB converter and the LC filter,although the DAB converter is stable at the individual operation mode.To assess the stability of the cascaded system of the DAB converter and the LC filter,the impedance model of the DAB converter is firstly developed based on generalized state-space averaging method.The developed impedance model can be used to accurately predict the stability of the DAB converter with its LC input filter.Based on the stability analysis,the optimum filter parameter design guideline is determined.The impedance model and stability analysis are validated by the simulation and experimental results.Fan Feng Xin Zhang Fanfan Lin Hoay Beng Gooi 2018CES Transactions on Electrical Machines and Systems2018,2,3:0
15Characterization of the Crustal Thickness and Poisson's Ratio of the Binchuan Region显示文摘This paper presents the changes of crust thickness and Poissons ratios distribution in the Binchuan region,where the first air-gun transmitting station and its a small dense array were deployed.From September 2011 to January 2014,more than 239 teleseismic events of M≥6.0 were recorded in 16 stations in the Binchuan region.Their P-wave receiver functions were analyzed respectively.The high spatial resolution result shows that the average crust thickness of Binchuan region is 45.3km,it follows the rule of'deeper in the north and east part,shallower in the south and west part.'The deepest region is in Xiaoyindian Station;the crust thickness is 47.9km;the shallowest region is in Paiying Station,it has the thickness of 42.1km.It shows that the deeper Moho surface nearby the Chenghai fault and shallower nearby the Honghe fault;the isoline distribution of thickness changes greatly nearby the Chenghai fault and slowly nearby the Honghe fault.From the distribution of Poissons ratios,it is unevenly in the study area with a great difference from the north part to the south part,which shows a characteristic of'lower in the north,higher in the south'.The Poissons ratio nearby the Honghe fault is medium too high(0.26≤σ≤0.29);lower nearby the Chenghai fault(σ≤0.26).This paper concludes the possible reason of different characteristic between Poissons ratio and crust thickness is thicker in the upper crust in the Binchuan region.Deng Jiamei Jin Mingpei Chen Jia Gao Qiong Zhang Huaying Wang Jun Ye Beng 2017Earthquake Research in China2017,31,1:0
