1Van der Waals epitaxy of ultrathin crystalline PbTe nanosheets with high near-infrared photoelectric response显示文摘Lead telluride(PbTe)is one of the reliable candidates for infrared(IR)optoelectronics with optimum band-gap as well as excellent photoelectric properties.Great interests had been paid on the growth and device applications with PbTe for the development of high-performance IR photodetectors especially those working in the near-infrared regime.Although a great deal of effort had been made to prepare PbTe nanostructures for miniaturized detectors,it is difficult to synthesize high-quality two-dimensional(2D)PbTe crystals due to its rock-salt non-layered structure.Herein,a facile strategy for controllable synthesis of ultrathin crystalline PbTe nanosheets by van der Waals epitaxy is reported.With an optimized growth temperature,which determines the morphology transit from triangular pyramid islands to regular square 2D planars,PbTe nanosheets in lateral size of tens of microns with thickness down to~7 nm are achieved.Meanwhile,ultrasensitive near-infrared detectors(NIRDs)based on the as-grown 2D PbTe nanosheets have been demonstrated with an ultrahigh responsivity exceeding 3,847 A/W at the wavelength of 1,550 nm under room temperature.Our approach demonstrates that 2D PbTe nanosheets have great latent capacity of developing high-performance miniaturized IR optoelectronic devices.Xinxin Zhao Qing Yin Hao Huang Qiang Yu Bo Liu Jie Yang Zhuo Dong Zhenjiang Shen Benpeng Zhu Lei Liao Kai Zhang 2021Nano Research2021,14,6:3
2Effects of Space Radiation Mutation on Germination and Growth of Sugarcane Hybrid Seeds显示文摘[Objectives] This study was conducted to investigate the mutagenic effects of space radiation mutagenesis on sugarcane hybrid seeds. [Methods] Sugarcane hybrid spikes were subjected to space radiation mutagenesis treatment to identify the effects on the germination, seedling growth and plant growth and development of sugarcane hybrid seeds. [Results] The space radiation treatment had a great impact on the germination and growth of sugarcane hybrid seeds, especially on the germination of sugarcane seeds. The germination number per gram of seeds increased significantly, and the survival rate of seedlings increased significantly. The effect on the growth status was relatively small. The average number of tillers decreased slightly, the percentage of available stems increased, and the plants became higher, which resulted in a greater effect on sugarcane yield. Sugarcane sucrose was increased. The seed germination and late growth status indicated that space radiation promoted the germination and growth of sugarcane hybrid seeds. 7Influence of Plasma Spray Parameters on the Microstructure and Property of ZrO_2-7 wt%Y_2O_3 Coating显示文摘The plasma sprayed ZrO2-7 wt%Y2O3(7YSZ)coating has been widely applied in aircraft engine as a thermal barrier coating.In this study,the duplex TBC system(MCrAlY+7YSZ)were deposited onto 304 stainless steel substrate by APS.Four principal spraying parameters during the deposition of 7YSZ coating were optimized by using orthogonal experimental design,including the stand-off distance,plasma power,preheating temperature and powder feeding rate.Their influences on the coating's microstructure,adhesion and its mechanical properties were studied and the optimized parameters were finally obtained.The results showed that the dependence of the spraying parameters on the properties of 7YSZ coating is highly correlated to the melting condition of the in-flight particles.Li Hui,Wang Benpeng,Wei Qi,Ji Xiaojian,Li Zhuoxin College of Materials Science and Engineering,Beijing University and Technology,Beijing 100124,China 2012稀有金属材料与工程2012,41,S1:1
8Genome assembly and transcriptome analysis provide insights into the antischistosome mechanism of Microtus fortis显示文摘Microtus fortis is the only mammalian host that exhibits intrinsic resistance against Schistosoma japonicum infection.However,the underlying molecular mechanisms of this resistance are not yet known.Here,we perform the first de novo genome assembly of M.fortis,comprehensive gene annotation analysis,and evolution analysis.Furthermore,we compare the recovery rate of schistosomes,pathological changes,and liver transcriptomes between M.fortis and mice at different time points after infection.We observe that the time and type of immune response in M.fortis are different from those in mice.M.fortis activates immune and inflammatory responses on the 10th day post infection,such as leukocyte extravasation,antibody activation,Fc-gamma receptor-mediated phagocytosis,and the interferon signaling cascade,which play important roles in preventing the development of schistosomes.In contrast,an intense immune response occurrs in mice at the late stages of infection and could not eliminate schistosomes.Infected mice suffer severe pathological injury and continuous decreases in cell cycle,lipid metabolism,and other functions.Our findings offer new insights into the intrinsic resistance mechanism of M.fortis against schistosome infection.The genome sequence also provides the basis for future studies of other important traits in M.fortis.Hong Li Zhen Wang Shumei Chai Xiong Bai Guohui Ding Yuanyuan Li Junyi Li Qingyu Xiao Benpeng Miao Weili Lin Jie Feng Mingyue Huang Cheng Gao Bin Li Wei Hu Jiaojiao Lin Zhiqiang Fu Jianyun Xie Yixue Li 2020Journal of Genetics and Genomics2020,47,12:1
9Effects of Differential Expression of Monosaccharide Transporter Genes on Yield Formation of Virus-free Sugarcane Seedlings显示文摘The yield increase effect was analyzed by planting disease-free sugarcane seedlings,and the differential expression of three monosaccharide transporter genes( SGT1,SGT2 and PST2a) in disease-free and untreated sugarcane seedlings was studied to clarify the functions of these genes on sugarcane yield. The yield was increased by 27. 2% by planting disease-free sugarcane seedlings. The expression levels of SGT1,SGT2 and PST2 a in leaves of virus-free plants were1-20 times higher than those in untreated sugarcane plants during the whole growth period. In addition,the expression levels of SGT1 and SGT2 in 1-8 internodes of sugarcane at elongation stage and maturity stage were 1-45 times higher than those in untreated plants. And the expression levels of PST2 a in 4-8 internodes of sugarcane plants at elongation stage were 4-7 times higher than those in untreated plants,but there was no difference in expression levels at maturity stage. The functions of different monosaccharide transporters varied among different growth stages. 10Solid-State Hydrogen Storage Properties of Ti-V-Nb-Cr High-Entropy Alloys and the Associated Effects of Transitional Metals(M=Mn,Fe,Ni)显示文摘Recently,high-entropy alloys(HEAs)designed by the concepts of unique entropy-stabilized mechanisms,started to attract widespread interests for their hydrogen storage properties.HEAs with body-centered cubic(BCC)structures present a high potential for hydrogen storage due to the high hydrogen-to-metal ratio(up to H/M=2)and vastness of compositions.Although many studies reported rapid absorption kinetics,the investigation of hydrogen desorption is missing,especially in BCC HEAs.We have investigated the crystal structure,microstructure and hydrogen storage performance of a series of HEAs in the Ti-V-Nb-Cr system.Three types of TiVCrNb HEAs(Ti_(4)V_(3)NbCr_(2),Ti_(3)V_(3)Nb2Cr_(2),Ti_(2)V_(3)Nb_(3)Cr_(2))with close atomic radii and different valence electron concentrations(VECs)were designed with single BCC phase by CALPHAD method.The three alloys with fast hydrogen absorption kinetics reach the H/M ratio up to 2.Particularly,Ti_(4)V_(3)NbCr_(2)alloy shows the hydrogen storage capacity of 3.7 wt%,higher than other HEAs ever reported.The dehydrogenation activation energy of HEAs’hydride has been proved to decrease with decreasing VEC,which may be due to the weakening of alloy atom and H atom.Moreover,Ti_(4)V_(3)NbCr_(2)M(M=Mn,Fe,Ni)alloys were also synthesized to destabilize hydrides.The addition of Mn,Fe and Ni lead to precipitation of Laves phase,however,the kinetics did not improve further because of their own excellent hydrogen absorption.With increasing the content of Laves phase,there appear more pathways for hydrogen desorption so that the hydrides are more easily dissociated,which may provide new insights into how to achieve hydrogen desorption in BCC HEAs at room temperature.Bo Cheng Yunkai Li Xiaoxi Li Huibin Ke Liang Wang Tangqing Cao Di Wan Benpeng Wang Yunfei Xue 2023Acta Metallurgica Sinica(English Letters)2023,36,7:0
11Ultrashort-time liquid phase sintering of high-performance fine-grain tungsten heavy alloys by laser additive manufacturing显示文摘Liquid phase sintering(LPS)is a proven technique for preparing large-size tungsten heavy alloys(WHAs).However,for densification,this processing requires that the matrix of WHAs keeps melting for a long time,which simultaneously causes W grain coarsening that degenerates the performance.This work develops a novel ultrashort-time LPS method to form bulk high-performance fine-grain WHAs based on the principle of laser additive manufacturing(LAM).During LAM,the high-entropy alloy matrix(Al_(0.5)Cr_(0.9)FeNi_(2.5)V_(0.2))and W powders were fed simultaneously but only the matrix was melted by laser and most W particles remained solid,and the melted matrix rapidly solidified with laser moving away,producing an ultrashort-time LPS processing in the melt pool,i.e.,laser ultrashort-time liquid phase sintering(LULPS).The extreme short dwell time in liquid(-1/10,000 of conventional LPS)can effectively suppress W grain growth,obtaining a small size of 1/3 of the size in LPS WHAs.Meanwhile,strong convection in the melt pool of LULPS enables a nearly full densification in such a short sintering time.Compared with LPS WHAs,the LULPS fine-grain WHAs present a 42%higher yield strength,as well as an enhanced susceptibility to adiabatic shear banding(ASB)that is important for strong armor-piercing capability,indicating that LULPS can be a promising pathway for forming high-performance WHAs that surpass those prepared by conventional LPS.Shangcheng Zhou Yao-Jian Liang Yichao Zhu Benpeng Wang Lu Wang Yunfei Xue 2021Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,31:0
12Cloning and Analysis of Chitinase Gene in Bacillus subtilis HAS显示文摘[Objective] The paper was to study the possible mechanism of chitinase gene. [Method] The chitinase gene with inhibitory effect against a variety of pathogenic fungi was cloned and analyzed in this study. [Result] The genome of HAS strain contained an ORF of 834 bp. 13A restoration method using dual generate adversarial networks for Chinese ancient characters显示文摘Ancient books that record the history of different periods are precious for human civilization.But the protection of them is facing serious problems such as aging.It is significant to repair the damaged characters in ancient books and restore their original textures.The requirement of the restoration of the damaged character is keeping the stroke shape correct and the font style consistent.In order to solve these problems,this paper proposes a new restoration method based on generative adversarial networks.We use the shape restoration network to complete the stroke shape recovery and the font style recovery.The texture repair network is responsible for reconstructing texture details.In order to improve the accuracy of the generator in the shape restoration network,we use the adversarial feature loss(AFL),which can update the generator and discriminator synchronously to replace the traditional perceptual loss.Meanwhile,the font style loss is proposed to maintain the stylistic consistency for the whole character.Our model is evaluated on the datasets Yi and Qing,and shows that it outperforms current state-of-the-art techniques quantitatively and qualitatively.In particular,the Structural Similarity has increased by 8.0%and 6.7%respectively on the two datasets.Benpeng Su Xuxing Liu Weize Gao Ye Yang Shanxiong Chen 2022Visual Informatics2022,6,1:0
14Expression of Invertase Genes in Virus-free Sugarcane显示文摘Virus-free sugarcane seedlings have improved biomass and sucrose content compared with ordinary seedlings,and sucrose invertases are key enzymes regulating sugarcane growth and sucrose accumulation.In this study,the differences in the expression levels of 3 invertase genes,CWI,SAI and NI,between virusfree and ordinary sugarcane seedlings were analyzed.Compared with ordinary sugarcane plants,the expression of CWI was mainly up-regulated in immature leaves and stems at elongation stage and leaves and immature internodes at maturation stage,and especially,greatly up-regulated in immature internodes at maturation stage of virus-free plants.The expression of SAI and NI were mainly up-regulated in leaves and immature internodes of virus-free plants at maturation stage,which might be beneficial to sugar accumulation and rapid utilization of monosaccharide in the stalks of virus-free plants.It is further indicated that virus-free treatment could significantly improve the expression of sucrose invertases at late growth period,and might facilitate the increase of plant biomass.Jungang WANG Tingting ZHAO Benpeng YANG Wenwei CAI Cuilian FENG Jun ZENG Guoru XIONG Shuzhen ZHANG 2017Agricultural Biotechnology2017,6,4:0
15Effect of Sintering Temperature on the Texturing Behavior of NaCo_2O_(4-δ) Synthesized by Urea Auto-Combustion Method显示文摘Polycrystalline NaCo2O4-δ materials were prepared using the urea auto-combustion method. The reaction process and crystal growth were investigated through X-ray diffraction (XRD), thermogravimetry-differential thermal analysis (TG-DTA), and Fourier transform infrared spectrometry (FTIR). The results indicate that the formation temperature of NaCo2O4-δ is about 620°C, which is lower than that for solid-state reaction. XRD results show that the texturing along c-axis occurred as the powders calcined at 700°C were pressed into pellets with subsequently sintering, and the degree of such texturing increases with increasing sintering temperature. Surface morphologies by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) also indicate that the texturing show dependence on sintering temperature. 16Microstructural Characteristics and Heat Transfer of Flattened Millimeter-size Nickel Droplet显示文摘The splat is the fundamental unit of thermally sprayed coatings,which has been one of the hottest issues for decades.In order to study the splat formation,an experiment was designed and conducted,in which a millimeter-size nickel metal droplet fell freely and impacted on aluminum and stainless steel substrate.The microstructural characteristics of the splat and the heat conduction and solidification processes during the flattening process have been studied numerically and experimentally.The effect of the droplet temperature,impact velocity as well as the substrate temperature was investigated.The phenomenon of substrate melting was observed after the spreading of nickel droplet,which became more pronounced when the initial substrate temperature increased.Increasing the impact velocity of droplet resulted in a decrease in the interfacial temperature between droplet and substrate.Li Hui Wang Benpeng Wei Qi Li Zhuoxin 2012稀有金属材料与工程2012,41,S1:0
17Synthesis and Magnetic Properties of Spin-Liquid Tb_2Ti_2O_7显示文摘Polycrystalline samples of a novel spin-liquid com-pound Tb2Ti2O7 were prepared by a standard solid-state reaction. X-ray diffraction at room temperature confirms that the synthe-sized compound of Tb2Ti2O7 is single phase with cubic unit cell constant a0 of 1.015 44 nm. Magnetic susceptibility measure-ments in the temperature range between 100 and 300 K give an effective moment of 9.44 μB and Curie-Weiss temperature of 12.68 K, respectively, indicating the dominance of antiferromag-netic interactions. 19Cloning and Analysis of TasA Gene in Bacillus subtilis HAS显示文摘In order to clarify the mechanism for the inhibitory action of the Bacillus subtilis strain HAS on Sporisorium scitamineum(Syd.),which can cause sugarcane smut,the full-length TasA gene which encodes a protein with broad-spectrum antimicrobial activity,was PCR-amplified from HAS,and cloned into pMD18-T vector.Sequence analysis indicated that the full-length Tas A cloned from HAS consisted of 786 nucleotides,and shared 99% homology in nucleotide sequence with the TasA gene sequence published in Genbank(AJ871386.1).It was predicted that the molecular weight of Tas A protein was about 28 kD.Base transitions or transversions occurred at positions 104,164,169,250,399,623 and 627,at the 2^(nd),2^(nd),3^(rd),1^(st),3^(rd),2^(nd) and 3^(rd) bases of TasA codons.The mutations in the seven bases may cause the missense mutations of the polypeptide chain.Compared with the amino acid sequences of the TasA protein encoded by Bacillus subtilis subsp.subtilis str.168,mutations in two amino acids at positions 150 and 209of the protein encoded by the cloned TasA gene were found,and as a result,an alanine was replaced with a threonine,and a glutamic acid was replaced with an asparagine.Guoruo XIONG Gengfeng ZHAO Wenwei CAI Suran WU Benpeng YANG Shuzhen ZHANG 2017Agricultural Biotechnology2017,6,2:0
20High Efficiency and Anomalous Photoacoustic Behavior in Vertical CNTs Array显示文摘Miniaturized sound generators are attractive to realize intriguing functions.Thermoacoustic device’s application is seriously limited due to the frequency-doubling phenomenon.To address this issue,photoacoustic sound generator is considered as a promising alternative.Here,based on vertical single-wall carbon nanotubes(CNTs)array,we introduce a photoacoustic sound generator with internal nano-Helmholtz cavity.Different from traditional device that generates sound by periodically heating up the open space air around material,this sound generator produces an audio signal by forming a forced vibration of the air inside the CNTs.Interestingly,anomalous photoacoustic behavior is observed that the sound pressure level(SPL)curve has a resonance peak,the corresponding frequency of which is inversely proportional to the CNTs array’s height.Furthermore,the energy conversion efficiency of this photoacoustic device is 1.64 times as large as that of a graphene sponge-based photoacoustic device.Most importantly,this device can be employed for music playing,bringing a new clew for the development of musical instruments in the future.Jiapu Li Ziyu Wang Laiming Jiang Zechuan Yu Xu Ge Jun Ouyang Xiaofei Yang Xiaobao Tian He Tian Benpeng Zhu 2023Energy & Environmental Materials2023,6,1:0
