| 3 | A critical survey of technologies of large offshore wind farm integration: summary, advances, and perspectives显示文摘Offshore wind farms(OWFs)have received widespread attention for their abundant unexploited wind energy poten-tial and convenient locations conditions.They are rapidly developing towards having large capacity and being located further away from shore.It is thus necessary to explore effective power transmission technologies to connect large OWFs to onshore grids.At present,three types of power transmission technologies have been proposed for large OWF integration.They are:high voltage alternating current(HVAC)transmission,high voltage direct current(HVDC)transmission,and low-frequency alternating current(LFAC)or fractional frequency alternating current transmission.This work undertakes a comprehensive review of grid connection technologies for large OWF integration.Compared with previous reviews,a more exhaustive summary is provided to elaborate HVAC,LFAC,and five HVDC topologies,consisting of line-commutated converter HVDC,voltage source converter HVDC,hybrid-HVDC,diode rectifier-based HVDC,and all DC transmission systems.The fault ride-through technologies of the grid connection schemes are also presented in detail to provide research references and guidelines for researchers.In addition,a comprehensive evalu-ation of the seven grid connection technologies for large OWFs is proposed based on eight specific indicators.Finally,eight conclusions and six perspectives are outlined for future research in integrating large OWFs. | Bo Yang Bingqiang Liu Hongyu Zhou Jingbo Wang Wei Yao Shaocong Wu Hongchun Shu Yaxing Ren | 2022 | Protection and Control of Modern Power Systems2022,7,1: | 4 |
| 4 | GTB-PPI:Predict Protein-protein Interactions Based on L1-regularized Logistic Regression and Gradient Tree Boosting显示文摘Protein-protein interactions(PPIs)are of great importance to understand genetic mechanisms,delineate disease pathogenesis,and guide drug design.With the increase of PPI data and development of machine learning technologies,prediction and identification of PPIs have become a research hotspot in proteomics.In this study,we propose a new prediction pipeline for PPIs based on gradient tree boosting(GTB).First,the initial feature vector is extracted by fusing pseudo amino acid composition(Pse AAC),pseudo position-specific scoring matrix(Pse PSSM),reduced sequence and index-vectors(RSIV),and autocorrelation descriptor(AD).Second,to remove redundancy and noise,we employ L1-regularized logistic regression(L1-RLR)to select an optimal feature subset.Finally,GTB-PPI model is constructed.Five-fold cross-validation showed that GTB-PPI achieved the accuracies of 95.15% and 90.47% on Saccharomyces cerevisiae and Helicobacter pylori datasets,respectively.In addition,GTB-PPI could be applied to predict the independent test datasets for Caenorhabditis elegans,Escherichia coli,Homo sapiens,and Mus musculus,the one-core PPI network for CD9,and the crossover PPI network for the Wnt-related signaling pathways.The results show that GTB-PPI can significantly improve accuracy of PPI prediction.The code and datasets of GTB-PPI can be downloaded from https://github.com/QUST-AIBBDRC/GTB-PPI/. | Bin Yu Cheng Chen Hongyan Zhou Bingqiang Liu Qin Ma | 2020 | Genomics, Proteomics & Bioinformatics2020,18,5: | 2 |

| 7 | Phase transformation and structural evolution in a Ti-5at.%Al alloy induced by cold-rolling显示文摘The phase transformation,deformation mechanism and their correlation in a cold-rolled Ti-5 at.%Al alloy were investigated.Two types of phase transformations from a hexagonal close-packed(HCP)structure to a face-centered cubic(FCC)structure were observed:the basal-type(B-type)with an orientation relation-ship of<1210HCP//<110FCC and{0001}HCP//{111}FCC,and the prismatic-type(P-type)with an orientation-relationship of<1210HCP//<110FCC and 1010HCP//110FCC.The two types of transformations both accommodate the strain along theaxis of the HCP matrix.With the proceeding of deformation,different deformation mechanisms were activated in the FCC and the HCP structures,respectively,which led to a faster grain refinement rate in the FCC structure than in the HCP matrix.Deformation twins with zero macroscopic strain were prevalent in the FCC domains produced by the B-type transformation,while deformation twins with macroscopic strain were normally observed in the FCC domains produced by the P-type transformation.This is in accordance with the lattice mismatches produced during phase transformation.The easy occurrence of deformation twinning in the FCC structure contributed significantly to the grain refinement process.In addition,the interaction between neighboring FCC domains produced by the two types of phase transformations also accelerated the grain refinement process. | Bingqiang Wei Song Ni Yong Liu Xiaozhou Liao Min Song | 2020 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2020,47,14: | 1 |

| 9 | Phosphor-aluminosilicate CsPbX_(3) perovskite fluorescent glass with low formation temperature for photoluminescence display applications显示文摘All-inorganic perovskites are rapidly emerging as novel optoelectronic functional materials owing to their flu-orescence properties.However,the stability of these materials has always been the biggest challenge for their applications in photoelectric devices.Therefore,this study focuses on developing phosphor-aluminosilicate-based CsPbX_(3)(X=Cl,Br,and I)glass with a low reaction temperature by adding CsCO_(3),PbX_(2),and NaX to the raw materials in order to improve the stabilities.The glass network intermediates of SiO_(2) and Al_(2)O_(3) doping in the raw material enhanced the stability of the pure phosphate glass network structure and devitrification while decreas-ing the melting temperature.Full chromatographic CsPbX 3 quantum dots(QDs)encapsulated in phosphate-based glass were found to increase the fluorescence properties and quantum efficiency(>59%).Notably,the high water stability of CsPbX_(3) QDs glasses,with the maintenance of 90% luminous intensity,emerged when soaked in water.In addition,the excellent thermal stability and anti-ion exchange properties of the CsPbX_(3) QDs glasses were re-vealed.Benefiting from the above,multicolor light-emitting diode(LED)devices were assembled with a mixture of phosphors of CsPbX_(3) QDs glasses and commercial red-emission K 2 SiF 6:Mn 4+phosphor spread on an InGaN chip,demonstrating bright light with superior luminous properties.Phosphor-aluminosilicate-based CsPbX_(3) QDs glass with high stability and low formation temperature would provide new methods for applications in lighting and displays. | Bin Liu Jinkai Li Bingqiang Cao Lei Zhang Zongming Liu | 2023 | ChemPhysMater2023,2,4: | 0 |
| 10 | Intelligent reasoning and management decision making with grey rough influence diagrams显示文摘Purpose-Influence diagrams(IDs)have been widely applied as a form of knowledge expression and a decision analysis tool in the management and engineering fields.Relationship measurements and expectation values are computed depending on probability distributions in traditional IDs,however,most information systems in the real world are nondeterministic,and data in information tables can be interval valued,multiple valued and even incomplete.Consequently,conventional numeric models of IDs are not suitable for information processing with respect to imprecise data whose boundaries are uncertain.The paper aims to discuss these issues.Design/methodology/approach-The grey system theory and rough sets have proved to be effective tools in the data processing of uncertain information systems,approximate knowledge acquisition and representation are also the objectives in intelligent reasoning and decision analysis.Hence,this study proposes a new mathematical model by combining grey rough sets with IDs,and approximate measurements are used instead of probability distribution,an implicational relationship is utilized instead of an indiscernible relationship,and all of the features of the proposed approach contribute to deal with uncertain problems.Findings-The focus of this paper is to provide a more comprehensive framework for approximate knowledge representation and intelligent decision analysis in uncertain information systems and an example of decision support in product management systems with the new approach is illustrated.Originality/value-Collaboration of IDs and grey rough sets is first proposed,which provides a new mathematical and graphical tool for approximate reasoning and intelligent decision analysis within interval-valued information systems. | Haiqing Hu Bingqiang Liu Tao Shen | 2016 | International Journal of Intelligent Computing and Cybernetics2016,9,4: | 0 |

| 13 | A new noise network and gradient parallelisation‐based asynchronous advantage actor‐critic algorithm显示文摘Asynchronous advantage actor‐critic(A3C)algorithm is a commonly used policy opti-mization algorithm in reinforcement learning,in which asynchronous is parallel inter-active sampling and training,and advantage is a sampling multi‐step reward estimation method for computing weights.In order to address the problem of low efficiency and insufficient convergence caused by the traditional heuristic exploration of A3C algorithm in reinforcement learning,an improved A3C algorithm is proposed in this paper.In this algorithm,a noise network function,which updates the noise tensor in an explicit way is constructed to train the agent.Generalised advantage estimation(GAE)is also adopted to describe the dominance function.Finally,a new mean gradient parallelisation method is designed to update the parameters in both the primary and secondary networks by summing and averaging the gradients passed from all the sub‐processes to the main process.Simulation experiments were conducted in a gym environment using the PyTorch Agent Net(PTAN)advanced reinforcement learning library,and the results show that the method enables the agent to complete the learning training faster and its convergence during the training process is better.The improved A3C algorithm has a better performance than the original algorithm,which can provide new ideas for sub-sequent research on reinforcement learning algorithms. | Zhengshun Fei Yanping Wang Jinglong Wang Kangling Liu Bingqiang Huang Ping Tan | 2022 | IET Cyber-Systems and Robotics2022,4,3: | 0 |
