1Effect of atorvastatin on expression of TLR4 and NF-κB p65 in atherosclerotic rabbits显示文摘Objective:To study the effect of atorvastatin on atherosclerotic rabbits.Methods:A total of 60 Now Zealand male rabbits were randomly divided into the normal group,model group and atorvastatin group.The replication rabbit atherosclerotic model with immune injury combined with a high fat diet feeding was used.All rabbits were sacrificed after 3 months.TLR4 and NF-κB p65 were observed by HE staining,immunohistochemistry and western blotting.Results: The expression of TLR4,NF- k B p65 were significantly increased in the model group compared widi the normal group.The expression of TI.R4 and NK- k B p65 decreased significantly in the atorvastatin group,and there was no difference compared with the normal group.Conclusions: The effect of atorvastatin on adierosclerosis may be achieved by the inhibition of the expression of TLK4 and NF-κB p65.Ding-Zhu Shen San-Li Xin Chuan Chen Te Liu 2013Asian Pacific Journal of Tropical Medicine2013,6,6:8
2Does urodynamics predict voiding after benign prostatic hyperplasia surgery in patients with detrusor underactivity?显示文摘Objective:We sought to determine if urodynamic study(UDS)predicted voiding outcomes in men with detrusor underactivity(DU)and benign prostatic enlargement(BPE)who underwent photovaporization of the prostate(PVP).Methods:Between September 2010 and July 2015,106 male patients with BPE and DU were identified.All patients underwent PVP.Urinary retention was noted by the preoperative necessity for an indwelling or intermittent catheter.Data collection included comorbidities,quality of life(QoL)scores,prostate volume,prostate-specific antigen(PSA),UDS and perioperative outcomes.UDS parameters included volume at first desire to void,volume at first urge to void,volume of severe urge,volume at capacity,compliance,detrusor contractions,maximum urinary flow rate(Qmax),and postvoid residual(PVR).Results:A total of 106 men were included in this analysis,who had urinary retention with a Foley catheter or clean intermittent catheterization(CIC)at the time of surgery.At baseline we found patients who voided had a detrusor pressure at Qmax(Pdet@Qmax)of 10.05±6.45 cmH2O compared to 16.78±12.17 cmH2O in those who did not void(p=0.071).Postoperatively,96(90.6%,mean age 76.9±26.2 years)of patients voided successfully while 10(9.4%,mean age 80.52±9.61 years)of patients remained in urinary retention.Mean baseline Qmax was 4.895±5.452 mL/s and 2.900±3.356 mL/s(p=0.087)in those who voided and did not respectively.PVR was 319.23±330.62 mL in those who voided and 276.88263.27 mL(p=0.344)in those who did not void.No UDS parameter predicted who would void postoperatively or improvements in QoL.Conclusions:The patients with DU and BPE might be able to successfully void after undergoing PVP regardless of UDS findings.All men who voided had improved international prostate symptom score and QoL scores compared to baseline and these parameters were durable up to 12 months.Dominique Thomas Kevin C.Zorn Nadir Zaidi Stephanie Ashley Chen Yiye Zhang Alexis Te Bilal Chughtai 2019Asian Journal of Urology2019,6,3:8

4New status of the infrared beamlines at SSRF显示文摘There are two infrared beamlines at the Shanghai synchrotron radiation facility(SSRF)-BL01B and BL06B.BL01B was the first infrared beamline of the National Facility for Protein Science in Shanghai at SSRF,which is dedicated to synchrotron infrared microspectroscopy.It utilizes bending magnet radiation and edge radiation as light sources.Diffraction-limited spatial resolution is reached in the infrared microspectroscopy experiment.BL01B has been in operation for approximately five years since it opened in January 2015.In the past few years,many meaningful results have been published by user groups from various disciplines,such as biomacromolecule materials and pharmaceutical,environmental,and biomedical sciences.In addition,a new infrared beamline station BL06B is under construction,which is optimized for the mid-infrared and far-infrared band.BL06B is equipped with a vacuum-type Fourier transform infrared spectrometer,infrared microscope,custom longworking-distance infrared microscope,infrared scanning near-field optical microscope,and mid-infrared Mueller ellipsometer.The purpose is to serve experiments with high vacuum requirements and spatial resolution experiments,as well as those that are in situ and time-sensitive,such as high-pressure and atomic force microscopy infrared experiments.The station can be used for research in biomaterials,pharmacy,geophysics,nanotechnology,and semiconductor materials.Xiao-Jie Zhou Hua-Chun Zhu Jia-Jia Zhong Wei-Wei Peng Te Ji Yue-Cheng Lin Yu-Zhao Tang Min Chen 2019Nuclear Science and Techniques2019,30,12:3
