1Potential of weed species applied to remediation of soils contaminated with heavy metals显示文摘To screen out a series of ideal plants that can effectively remedy contaminated soils by heavy metals is the main groundwork of phytoremediation engineering and the first step of its commercial application on a large scale. In this study, accumulation and endurance of 45 weed species in 16 families from an agricultural site were in situ examined by using the pot-culture field experiment, and the remediation potential of some weed species with high accumulation of heavy metals was assayed. The results showed that Solanum nigrum and Conyza canadensis can not only accumulate high concentration of Cd, but also strongly endure to single Cd and Cd-Pb-Cu-Zn combined pollution. Thus 2 weed species can be regarded as good hyperaccumulators for the remediation of Cd-contaminated soils. Although there were high Cd-accumulation in Artemigia selengensis, Znula britannica and Cephalanoplos setosum, their biomass was adversely affected due to action of heavy metals in the soils. 3Fault detection,classification and location for transmission lines and distribution systems:a review on the methods显示文摘A comprehensive review on the methods used for fault detection, classification and location in transmissionlines and distribution systems is presented in this study. Though the three topics are highly correlated, the authors tryto discuss them separately, so that one may have a more logical and comprehensive understanding of the conceptswithout getting confused. Great significance is also attached to the feature extraction process, without which themajority of the methods may not be implemented properly. Fault detection techniques are discussed on the basis offeature extraction. After the overall concepts and general ideas are presented, representative works as well as newprogress in the techniques are covered and discussed in detail. 4Investigation of influence of micro-structure on magnetic properties of amorphous powder core显示文摘The influence of micro-structure on magnetic properties of amorphous powder core was investigated. 7The Location Algorithm of the Inclined License Plates Based on Mathematical Morphology and Orientation Field显示文摘The license plate recognition (LPR), as an important measure of traffic controlling and information management, is being paid more and more attention. The location and detection of the inclined license plate is an important problem in the License Plate Recognition Sys-tem. But now most of the proposed location algorithms are based on the condition of the horizontal license. These methods don't work well on inclined license plate. At the same time, the method based on Hough Transform is pro-posed to detect the inclined angle of the license plate, but it has many limitations. In order to solve this problem,we propose a new method to locate the inclined plate region using Mathematical Morphology and Orientation Field. The algorithm consists of preprocessing, inclined an-gel detecting and license plate location modules. Firstly,we adopt the gray extension method to improve the ob-serving quality of the images and study the intrinsic char-acteristic of texture and shape of vehicle license, such as the size, space and height of characters, then we construct the morphologic operator to make a series of morphologicoperations and locate the plate region roughly in the pre-processed image; secondly we make the horizontal and ver-tical projection, get the coordinate of the down left corner and top right corner in the license plate, and detect the inclined angle of the license plate with Orientation Field;lastly, the results of projecting and Orientation Field cal-culating are used to locate the license plate precisely. 11Prediction of radio interference from HVDC transmission lines based on corona discharge characteristics显示文摘Many research works have proved that it is viable to predict the radio interference (RI) of high-voltage alternating current transmission lines by corona cage test. However, it is uncertain whether the same method can be adopted for RI prediction of high-voltage direct current (HVDC) transmission lines, since the corona performance of HVDC lines is obviously affected by the widely distributed space charge. In this study, the detailed corona current characteristics, such as the current pulse amplitude, rise time, half-wave time, and repetition frequency are systematically studied by the reduced-scale experiment and the relationship between the average corona current and the RI excitation current is confirmed. Furthermore, based on the experimental study, a method for predicting the RI level of HVDC transmission lines by the corona cage test is proposed.
