1Advances on strategies for searching for next generation thermal barrier coating materials显示文摘Thermal barrier coating(TBC) materials play important roles in gas turbine engines to protect the Nibased super-alloys from the high temperature airflow damage. High melting point, ultra-low thermal conductivity, large thermal expansion coefficient, excellent damage tolerance and moderate mechanical properties are the main requirements of promising TBC materials. In order to improve the efficiency of jet and/or gas turbine engines, which is the key of improved thrust-to-weight ratios and the energysaving, significant efforts have been made on searching for enhanced TBC materials. Theoretically, density functional theory has been successfully used in scanning the structure and properties of materials, and at the same time predicting the mechanical and thermal properties of promising TBC materials for high and ultrahigh temperature applications, which are validated by subsequent experiments. Experimentally,doping and/or alloying are also widely applied to further decrease their thermal conductivities. Now, the strategy through combining theoretical calculations and experiments on searching for next generation thermal insulator materials is widely adopted. 2Temperature gradient and its effect on flat steel box girder of long-span suspension bridge显示文摘The temperature field variation law and distribution characteristics of an orthotropic flat steel box girder under sunny conditions were analyzed through a field temperature test on the steel box girder of the operational Runyang Yangtze River Bridge(the suspension bridge part).Function optimization fitting and error analysis of the test data were conducted.A temperature gradient distribution curve applicable to a hexagonal flat steel box girder was proposed.Based on the measurement results,the temperature effect of an orthotropic flat steel box girder was analyzed using finite element method and the effects of different temperature gradient modes on the mechanical characteristics and stress distribution of the steel box girder were compared.Under sunny conditions,heat conduction in the flat steel box girder structure shows distinct 'box-room effect' characteristics,and the actual temperature gradient distribution is inconsistent with the one suggested by the existing standards.The thermal stress of a steel box girder calculated from the measured temperature gradient mode exceeds that calculated from the standard,and the intensity approximates that under the action of designed vehicle loads.The temperature-induced stress is distributed centrally near the manufacturing welds of the orthotropic steel box girder,which should be considered in design,construction and research.Results from this study could supplement the existing bridge and culvert design standards.MIAO ChangQing SHI ChangHua 2013Science China(Technological Sciences)2013,56,8:19
3A survey on life prediction of equipment显示文摘Once in the hands of end users, such durable equipment as spacecraft, aircraft, ships,automobiles, computers, etc. are in a state of debugging, working or storage. In either state, availability, reliability and super-efficiency are the ultimate goals, which have been achieved through constant monitoring as well as regular, preventive, routine and corrective maintenance. Although some advanced instruments can visualize certain invisible malfunctioning phenomena into visible ones, deeply hidden troubles cannot be found unless monitoring and testing data are addressed using tools that process the data statistically, analytically and mathematically. 4Structures of the Bohai Petroliferous Area,Bohai Bay Basin显示文摘This paper, for the first time, deals with a more systematic study of the structures in the Bohaipetroliferous area that covers nearly one third of the Bohai Bay basin. The study mainly involves the effects of preexisting basement faults on the basin formation, the characteristics of basin geometry and kinetics, the modelling of the tectonic-thermal history, the polycyclicity and heterogeneity in the structural evolution and the natural seismic tomographic images of the crust and upper mantle. 5A new remaining useful life estimation method for equipment subjected to intervention of imperfect maintenance activities显示文摘As the key part of Prognostics and Health Management(PHM), Remaining Useful Life(RUL) estimation has been extensively investigated in recent years. Current RUL estimation studies considering the intervention of imperfect maintenance activities usually assumed that maintenance activities have a single influence on the degradation level or degradation rate, but not on both.Aimed at this problem, this paper proposes a new degradation modeling and RUL estimation method taking the influence of imperfect maintenance activities on both the degradation level and the degradation rate into account. Toward this end, a stochastic degradation model considering imperfect maintenance activities is firstly constructed based on the diffusion process. Then, the Probability Density Function(PDF) of the RUL is derived by the convolution operator under the concept of First Hitting Time(FHT). To implement the proposed RUL estimation method,the Maximum Likelihood Estimation(MLE) is utilized to estimate the degradation related parameters based on the Condition Monitoring(CM) data, while the Bayesian method is utilized to estimate the maintenance related parameters based on the maintenance data. Finally, a numerical example and a practical case study are provided to demonstrate the superiority of the proposed method. 6Net energy of corn,soybean meal and rapeseed meal in growing pigs显示文摘Background: Two experiments were conducted to estimate the net energy(NE) of corn, soybean meal, expel er-pressed rapeseed meal(EP-RSM) and solvent-extracted rapeseed meal(SE-RSM) using indirect calorimetry and to validate the NE of these four ingredients using pig growth performance.Methods: In Exp.1, 24 barrows(initial BW = 36.4 ± 1.6 kg) were allotted to 1 of 4 diets which included a corn basal diet,a corn-soybean meal basal diet and two rapeseed meal diets containing 20% EP-RSM(9.5% ether extract) or SE-RSM(1.1% ether extract) substituted for corn and soybean meal. The design allowed the calculation of NE values of corn,soybean meal and rapeseed meals according to the difference method. In Exp.2, 175 growing pigs(initial BW = 36.0± 5.2 kg) were fed 1 of 5 diets for 28 d, with five pigs per pen and seven replications(pens) per treatment in order to validate the measured energy values. Diets were a corn-soybean meal diet and four diets including 10% or 20% EP-RSM and 10% or 20% SE-RSM.Results: The NE of corn, soybean meal, EP-RSM and SE-RSM were 12.46, 11.34, 11.71 and 8.83 MJ/kg DM, respectively. The NE to ME ratio of corn(78%) was similar to tabular values, however, the NE to ME ratios of soybean meal(70%) and rapeseed meal(76%) were greater than tabular values. The greater NE value in EP-RSM than in SE-RSM is consistent with its higher EE content. Increasing EP-RSM or SE-RSM did not affect the growth performance of pigs and the caloric efficiency of NE was comparable for al diets.Conclusions: The NE of EP-RSM was similar to soybean meal, and both were greater than SE-RSM. 7Tracking control for air-breathing hypersonic cruise vehicle based on tangent linearization approach显示文摘This paper is focused on developing a tracking controller for a hypersonic cruise vehicle using tangent linearization approach.The design of flight control systems for air-breathing hypersonic vehicles is a highly challenging task due to the unique characteristics of the vehicle dynamics.Motivated by recent results on tangent linearization control,the tracking control problem for the hypersonic cruise vehicle is reduced to that of a feedback stabilizing controller design for a linear time-varying system which can be accomplished by a standard design method of frozen-time control.Through a proper model transformation,it can be proven that the tracking error of the designed closed-loop system decays exponentially.Simulation studies are conducted for trimmed cruise conditions of 110000 ft and Mach 15 where the responses of the vehicle to step changes in altitude and velocity are evaluated.The effectiveness of the controller is demonstrated by simulation results.Guangbin Cai Guangren Duan Changhua Hu Bin Zhou 2010Journal of Systems Engineering and Electronics2010,21,3:7
8Metabolomics mechanism of traditional soy sauce associated with fermentation time显示文摘Given that fermentation time has significant impact on quality and flavor of soy sauce,a global understanding of the metabolic mechanism as fermentation time prolonged is essential for producing satisfactory and consistent quality of traditional soy sauce.Herein,the metabolic compounds changes of soy sauce associated with fermentation time up to 10 years were comprehensively investigated by using Chinese traditional fermented soy sauce(CTFSS)as a demonstration.Results showed that formaldehyde nitrogen,total soluble nitrogen(TSN),non-salt soluble solids,amino acids,free 5’-nucleotides and volatile compounds in CTFSS changed obviously during fermentation.Specifically,glutamic acid and aspartic acid were prominent in CTFSS.Continuous decrease in content of hypoxanthine(Hx)was found from 1 M(1-month soy sauce)to7 M(7-months soy sauce).Furthermore,a significant opposite tendency for changes between some volatile compounds and amino acids was indicated that there was a transformation between these two components.Therefore,a better understanding to the influence of fermentation time on soy sauce had been proposed.As the formation and conversion of amino acids and sugars might be mainly responsible for flavor formation in CTFSS,the ratio of these two reactions rate led the metabolism to be divided into three steps,degradation,conversion and balance.Li Zhu Siyu He Ying Lu Jianhong Gan Ningping Tao Xichang Wang Zaoli Jiang Yuanxiang Hong Changhua Xu 2022Food Science and Human Wellness2022,11,2:7
9Fault prediction model based on evidential reasoning approach显示文摘In order to deal with fault prediction problems that involve both quantitative and qualitative in-formation for nonlinear complex system, a new fault prediction model is established based on the evidential reasoning (ER) approach, and an optimal learning algorithm for training ER-based prediction model is pre-sented based on the mean square error (MSE) criterion. This prediction model inherits the advantages of ER approach, which can deal with precise data, incomplete data and fuzzy data with nonlinear characteristic. In this model, the input signals transformed using rule based information transformation technique, are aggregated by analytical ER approach, and then the outputs of prediction model are constructed according to the types of system outputs. In addition, two fault decision criteria are defined to conduct fault identification. To overcome the difficulty in determining model parameters accurately and subjectively, a nonlinear optimization model is constructed and the optimal parameters are obtained. Two experimental studies are conducted to evaluate the performance of the proposed model. 11Geochemical Characteristics of Selenium and Its Correlation to Other Elements and Minerals in Selenium-Enriched Rocks in Ziyang County,Shaanxi Province,China显示文摘Ziyang County, Shaanxi Province, China is a world known selenium(Se)-enriched area, and a severe selenosis incident was reported in Naore Village during the 1990 s. This study investigated the geochemical characteristics of Se and its fractions in Se-enriched rocks from Ziyang. Se distribution is uneven, ranging from 0.23 to 57.00 μg/g(17.29±15.52 μg/g). Se content is higher in slate than chert, and even lower in carbonate rocks. Cd, As and V are enriched but Pb is depleted in Se-enriched strata. Se has different correlations both with TS(total sulfur)(R^2=0.59 for chert) and TC(total carbon)(R^2=0.77 for slate, R^2=0.87 for carbonate). Se has significant positive correlations with V(r=0.65), As(r=0.485), Cd(r=0.459) and Pb(r=0.405). The Se level correlates with mineral content, positively with pyrite, chlorite and illite, negatively with albite. Se associated with sulfide/selenide and elemental Se are the predominant fractions of total recovered Se, suggesting that a reducing environment and the formation of sulfides were significant to Se deposition during its geochemical cycle. 12A New Safety Assessment Method Based on Belief Rule Base With Attribute Reliability显示文摘Safety assessment is one of important aspects in health management.In safety assessment for practical systems,three problems exist:lack of observation information,high system complexity and environment interference.Belief rule base with attribute reliability(BRB-r)is an expert system that provides a useful way for dealing with these three problems.In BRB-r,once the input information is unreliable,the reliability of belief rule is influenced,which further influences the accuracy of its output belief degree.On the other hand,when many system characteristics exist,the belief rule combination will explode in BRB-r,and the BRB-r based safety assessment model becomes too complicated to be applied.Thus,in this paper,to balance the complexity and accuracy of the safety assessment model,a new safety assessment model based on BRB-r with considering belief rule reliability is developed for the first time.In the developed model,a new calculation method of the belief rule reliability is proposed with considering both attribute reliability and global ignorance.Moreover,to reduce the influence of uncertainty of expert knowledge,an optimization model for the developed safety assessment model is constructed.A case study of safety assessment of liquefied natural gas(LNG)storage tank is conducted to illustrate the effectiveness of the new developed model.Zhichao Feng Wei He Zhijie Zhou Xiaojun Ban Changhua Hu Xiaoxia Han 2021IEEE/CAA Journal of Automatica Sinica2021,8,11:6

15A hidden fault prediction model based on the belief rule base with power set and considering attribute reliability显示文摘Hidden faults are important characteristics of complex systems that cannot be observed directly.The hidden behavior of a system, such as the health state and safety level, has a direct correlation with these hidden faults. After the predicted hidden behavior reaches a fault boundary, certain measures must be taken to avoid fault occurrences. Thus, hidden faults can be predicted by the hidden behavior of a system.The belief rule base(BRB) has been used to predict hidden behaviors. However, two problems remain to be solved in engineering practice. First, when the observed information is absent, ignorance may exist in the output. If only global ignorance is considered, it may be unreasonable in certain cases, which can influence the prediction model. Second, the effects of disturbance factors such as noise and sensor quality may cause the reliability of the gathered information to decline, which indirectly leads to unreliability of the hidden behavior. Thus, to address the global ignorance and unreliable hidden behavior, a new hidden BRB model with a power set and considering attribute reliability(PHBRB-r) is proposed for hidden fault prediction. In the PHBRB-r model, the effects of disturbance factors on hidden behavior are considered using attribute reliability, and the discernment frame is a power set. 16Methodologies on estimating the energy requirements for maintenance and determining the net energy contents of feed ingredients in swine:a review of recent work显示文摘In the past two decades, a considerable amount of research has focused on the determination of the digestible(DE) and metabolizable energy(ME) contents of feed ingredients fed to swine. Compared with the DE and ME systems, the net energy(NE) system is assumed to be the most accurate estimate of the energy actually available to the animal. However, published data pertaining to the measured NE content of ingredients fed to growing pigs are limited. Therefore, the Feed Data Group at the Ministry of Agricultural Feed Industry Centre(MAFIC) located at China Agricultural University has evaluated the NE content of many ingredients using indirect calorimetry. The present review summarizes the NE research works conducted at MAFIC and compares these results with those from other research groups on methodological aspect. These research projects mainly focus on estimating the energy requirements for maintenance and its impact on the determination, prediction, and validation of the NE content of several ingredients fed to swine. The estimation of maintenance energy is affected by methodology, growth stage,and previous feeding level. The fasting heat production method and the curvilinear regression method were used in MAFIC to estimate the NE requirement for maintenance. The NE contents of different feedstuffs were determined using indirect calorimetry through standard experimental procedure in MAFIC. Previously generated NE equations can also be used to predict NE in situations where calorimeters are not available. Although popular, the caloric efficiency is not a generally accepted method to validate the energy content of individual feedstuffs. 17Cable-like carbon nanotubes decorated metal-organic framework derived ultrathin CoSe2/CNTs nanosheets for electrocatalytic overall water splitting显示文摘The high cost and low reserves of noble metals greatly hinder their practical applications in new energy production and conversion.The exploration of cost-effective alternative electrocatalysts with the ability to drive hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)and oxygen evolution reaction(OER)is extremely significant to promote overall water splitting.Herein,ultrathin CoSe2/CNTs nanocomposites have been synthesized by a facile two-step method,where the ultrathin Co-MOF(metal organic-framework)decorated with cable-like carbon nanotubes(CNTs)(Co-MOF/CNTs)was initially fabricated,and followed a lowtemperature selenization process.The ultrathin CoSe2 nanosheets as well as the superior conductivity of CNTs synergistically resulted in abundant active sites and enhanced conductivity to boost the electrocatalytic activity.The as-prepared CoSe2/CNTs electrocatalysts exhibited an overpotential of190 mV and 300 mV vs.reversible hydrogen electrode(RHE)at a current density of 10 mA/cm^(2) for the HER and OER in alkaline solution,respectively,and demonstrated superior durability.Furthermore,the as-prepared bifunctional CoSe2/CNTs electrocatalysts can act as cathode and anode in an electrolyzer,showing a cell voltage of 1.75 V at 10 mA/cm^(2) for overall water splitting.Guijuan Wei Kun Du Xixia Zhao Jiayang Wang Wenxiu Yan Chao An Changhua An 2020Chinese Chemical Letters2020,31,10:5
18FeNi nanoparticles on Mo_(2)TiC_(2)T_(x)MXene@nickel foam as robust electrocatalysts for overall water splitting显示文摘The development of cost-effective electrocatalysts for overall water splitting is highly desirable,remaining a critical challenge at current stage.Herein,a class of composite FeNi@MXene(Mo_(2)TiC_(2)T_(x))@nickel foam(NF)has been synthesized through introducing Fe2+ions and in-situ combining with surface nickel atoms on nickel foam.The obtained FeNi@Mo_(2)TiC_(2)T_(x)@NF exhibited high activity with overpotentials of 165 and 190 mV for the hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)and oxygen evolution reaction(OER)at a current density of 10 mA·cm^(-2),respectively.The synergetic effects of Mo_(2)TiC_(2)T_(x)and FeNi nanoalloys lead to increasing catalytic activities,where MXene provides high active surface area and rich active sites for HER,and FeNi nanoalloys promote the OER.Theoretical simulation of electron exchange capacity between FeNi and MXene in FeNi@Mo_(2)TiC_(2)T_(x)catalyst shows that electrons transferred from surface Mo atoms to the interface between FeNi and MXene,indicating that the electrons are accumulated near the FeNi nanoparticles.This kind of electronic distribution facilitates the formation of intermediate of NiOOH.Correspondingly,(H++e-)is more inclined onto Mo-Ni interfaces for HER.The Gibbs free energy changes for H*to HER and potential-limiting step for-OOH intermediate in OER over FeNi@Mo_(2)TiC_(2)T_(x)are much less than those on bare MXene.The catalyst can be further used for overall water splitting in alkaline solution,realizing a current density of 50 mA·cm^(-2)at 1.74 V.This work provides a facile strategy to achieve efficient and cheap catalysts for new energy production.Jiayang Wang Peilei He Yongli Shen Linxiu Dai Zhe Li Yue Wu Changhua An 2021Nano Research2021,14,10:5
19Effect of variety and drying method on the nutritive value of corn for growing pigs显示文摘Background:This experiment was conducted to determine the nutritive value of corn from the north of China for growing pigs.The experiment examined corn variety(LS1,LS2,LS3 and LS4)grown in one location,drying method(sun dried and artificially dried)and different drying temperatures.Corn harvested at 20-25%moisture was dried to about 12%moisture by sun drying and artificially drying at 80,100,or 120℃ in a fluidized bed dryer.Ninety-six barrows(average BW of 33.4 ± 2.7 kg)were housed in individual metabolism crates to facilitate separate collection of feces and urine.A five-day collection period followed a seven-day diet acclimation period.Results:The results indicated that variety significantly influenced(P<0.01)the 1,000 kernel weight of corn but not the bulk weight.Variety also influenced the available energy content(digestible energy of dry matter,P<0.01;metabolisable energy of dry matter,P<0.01)and digestibility of organic matter(P<0.01),as well as dry matter(P<0.01)and gross energy(GE)content(P<0.02).The drying method of corn significantly influenced the 1,000 kernel weight(P<0.01),bulk weight(P<0.01)and digestibility of ether extract(EE)(P<0.01).No effect of drying temperature on the digestibility of organic matter,dry matter(DM),crude protein(CP),neutral detergent fiber(NDF),acid detergent fiber(ADF)and gross energy was observed,but gelatinization(P<0.05)and test weight(P<0.01)decreased with an increase in temperature.Conclusions:Variety has a significant impact on the nutritive value of corn for growing pigs,and greater attention needs to be paid to these influences in the assignment of the nutritive value of corn given to growing pigs.Quanfeng Li Meng Shi Chuanxin Shi Dewen Liu Xiangshu Piao Defa Li Changhua Lai 2014Journal of Animal Science and Biotechnology2014,5,4:5
20Chemical composition,energy and amino acid digestibility in double-low rapeseed meal fed to growing pigs显示文摘Background:The nutritional value of rapeseed meal may be variable due to the variation of its chemical composition.And a precise understanding of the nutritional value of an ingredient is beneficial for the accurate diet formulation and reduction of feed costs.This study was conducted to determine the chemical composition,digestible energy(DE) and metabolizable energy(ME) content,and apparent ileal digestibility(AID) and standardized ileal digestibility(SID) of amino acids(AA) for growing pigs.Thirteen solvent-extracted double-low rapeseed meal(DLRSM) samples were obtained from the main double-low rapeseed producing areas in China.Methods:The DE and ME contents of the 13 DLRSM samples were measured in growing pigs(six pigs per DLRSM sample,average initial body weight(BW) = 48.3 kg).The AID and SID of AA of 10 DLRSM samples were determined in 12 crossbred barrows(average initial BW = 35.3 kg) by using two 6x6 Latin square designs.Each Latin square comprised one N-free diet and 5 DLRSM test diets.Results:The chemical composition of DLRSM varied among samples,and the coefficient of variation was greater than 10%for ether extract(EE),neutral detergent fiber(NDF),acid detergent fiber(ADF),calcium(Ca),and total glucosinolates.The AA content of DLRSM varied among samples especially for lysine(Lys) and methionine(Met).On a dry matter(DM) basis,the apparent total tract digestibility(ATTD) of gross energy(GE),the DE and ME and the ME:DE ratio of DLRSM averaged 62.39%,2862 kcal/kg and 2723 kcal/kg,and 94.95%,respectively.The mean value of SID of Lys was 70.52% which varied from 66.54-76.54%.The SID of crude protein(CP),Met,and threonine(Thr) averaged 72.81%,82.41%,and 69.76%,respectively.Conclusions:There was great variability in chemical composition especially in the concentration of EE,NDF and ADF,but no significant differences in energy content of the DLRSM samples were observed.In addition,the AID and SID of all AA were relatively similar among DLRSM samples except for that of Lys.Peili Li Fengli Wang Fei Wu Jinrong Wang Ling Liu Changhua Lai 2015Journal of Animal Science and Biotechnology2015,6,4:5
