1Roux-en-Y choledochojejunostomy using novel magnetic compressive anastomats in canine model of obstructive jaundice显示文摘BACKGROUND:The traditional hand-sewn Roux-en-Y choledochojejunostomy is technically complicated,and the incidence of postoperative complications has remained high.A set of novel magnetic compressive anastomats was introduced to facilitate choledochojejunostomy and improve the prognosis of patients.METHODS:After ligating the common bile duct for 7 days,16 dogs were randomly divided into two groups (n=8 per group).Anastomats were used in the study group,and the traditional hand-sewn method was used in the control group for standard Roux-en-Y choledochojejunostomy.We compared the operation time,incidence of complications,gross appearance,and pathological disparity in stoma between the two groups in 1-month and 3-month follow-up examinations.RESULTS:The time spent on constructing the anastomosis for the study group was significantly shortened.Although no anastomotic stenosis occurred in the two groups,the narrowing rate of biliary-enteric anastomosis was much higher in the control group.There was one case of bile leakage in the control group,whereas no bile leakage occurred in the study group.A smoother surface,an improved layer apposition,and a lower local inflammatory response were identified in the anastomosis of the study group.CONCLUSION:The structures of the novel magnetic compressive anastomats are simple,and they are time-saving,safe and efficient for performing Roux-en-Y choledocho- jejunostomy procedures in a canine model of obstructive jaundice.Chao Fan,Xiao-Peng Yan,Shi-Qi Liu,Chun-Bao Wang,Jian-Hui Li,Liang Yu,Zheng Wu and Yi Lv Department of Hepatobiliary Surgery and Department of Pathology,First Affiliated Hospital,School of Medicine,Xi’an Jiaotong University,Xi’an 710061,China Department of Surgical Oncology,Third Affiliated Hospital,School of Medicine,Xi’an Jiaotong University,Xi’an 710068,China 2012Hepatobiliary & Pancreatic Diseases International2012,11,1:49
2Spatio-temporal framework of tectonic uplift stages of the Tibetan Plateau in Cenozoic显示文摘Four intensive uplift periods, i.e., 60–35, 25–17 and 12–8 Ma (but 18–13 Ma in the Himalayas of the southern Tibet), and since about 5 Ma, can be determined on the Tibetan Plateau by synthetical analysis of low-temperature thermo-chronology data, sedimentary deposit records, and structural deformation records of different areas. The strong tectonic uplift periods in different areas on the Tibetan Plateau are penecontemporaneous, except for the Himalayan area of the southern Tibet, where a rapid uplift and exhumation period, controlled by the activity of the South Tibetan Detachment System faults, occurred during 18–13 Ma. These strong uplift and exhumation periods correspond well to intensive deformation activity periods, suggesting tectonically-controlled uplift and exhumation. The deposit records, such as the distribution of coarse clastic sediments, the distribution of tectonically-controlled basins, stratigraphic discontinuousness or unconformity, and fault-controlled geomorphologic evolution, also match well with the strong uplift and exhumation periods. 3A Review on Lithium-ion Power Battery Thermal Management Technologies and Thermal Safety显示文摘Lithium-ion power battery has become one of the main power sources for electric vehicles and hybrid electric vehicles because of superior performance compared with other power sources. In order to ensure the safety and improve the performance, the maximum operating temperature and local temperature difference of batteries must be maintained in an appropriate range. The effect of temperature on the capacity fade and aging are simply investigated. The electrode structure, including electrode thickness, particle size and porosity, are analyzed. It is found that all of them have significant influences on the heat generation of battery. Details of various thermal management technologies, namely air based, phase change material based, heat pipe based and liquid based, are discussed and compared from the perspective of improving the external heat dissipation. The selection of different battery thermal management(BTM) technologies should be based on the cooling demand and applications, and liquid cooling is suggested being the most suitable method for large-scale battery pack charged/discharged at higher C-rate and in high-temperature environment. 4Three-dimensional morphometric analysis for hepatectomy of centrally located hepatocellular carcinoma:A pilot study显示文摘AIM: To describe a three-dimensional model(3DM) to accurately reconstruct anatomic relationships of centrally located hepatocellular carcinomas(HCCs).METHODS: From March 2013 to July 2014, reconstructions and visual simulations of centrally located HCCs were performed in 39 patients using a 3D subject-based computed tomography(CT) model with customdeveloped software. CT images were used for the 3D reconstruction of Couinaud's pedicles and hepatic veins, and the calculation of corresponding tumor territories and hepatic segments was performed using Yorktal DMIT software. The respective volume, surgical margin, and simulated virtual resection of tumors were also estimated by this model preoperatively. All patients were treated surgically and the results were retrospectively assessed. Clinical characteristics, imaging data, procedure variables, pathologic features, and postoperative data were recorded and compared to determine the reliability of the model.RESULTS: 3D reconstruction allowed stereoscopic identification of the spatial relationships between physiologic and pathologic structures, and offered quantifiable liver resection proposals based on individualized liver anatomy. The predicted values were consistent with the actual values for tumor mass volume(82.4 ± 109.1 m L vs 84.1 ± 108.9 m L, P = 0.910), surgical margin(10.1 ± 6.2 mm vs 9.1 ± 5.9 mm, P = 0.488), and maximum tumor diameter(4.61 ± 2.16 cm vs 4.53 ± 2.14 cm, P = 0.871). In addition,the number and extent of portal venous ramifications, as well as their relation to hepatic veins, were visualized. Preoperative planning based on simulated resection facilitated complete resection of large tumors located in the confluence of major vessels. 5Precise nanomedicine for intelligent therapy of cancer显示文摘Precise nanomedicine has been extensively explored for efficient cancer imaging and targeted cancer therapy, as evidenced by a few breakthroughs in their preclinical and clinical explorations. Here, we demonstrate the recent advances of intelligent cancer nanomedicine, and discuss the comprehensive understanding of their structure-function relationship for smart and efficient cancer nanomedicine including various imaging and therapeutic applications, as well as nanotoxicity. In particular, a few emerging strategies that have advanced cancer nanomedicine are also highlighted as the emerging focus such as tumor imprisonment, supramolecular chemotherapy, and DNA nanorobot. The challenge and outlook of some scientific and engineering issues are also discussed in future development. 6Perioperative transcutaneous electrical acupoint stimulation for improving postoperative gastrointestinal function:A randomized controlled trial显示文摘Background:Postoperative gastrointestinal dysfunction(PGD)is one of the most common complications in patients undergoing major abdominal surgery.Acupuncture has been used widely in gastrointestinal diseases due to its effectiveness and minimally invasive nature.Objective:This study evaluated the efficacy of using transcutaneous electrical acupoint stimulation(TEAS)during the surgery and postoperative recovery in patients with gastric and colorectal surgery for improving postoperative gastrointestinal function.Design,setting,participants and interventions:A total of 280 patients undergoing abdominal surgery were stratified by type of surgery(i.e.,gastric or colorectal surgery)and randomly allocated into the TEAS group(group T)or the sham group(group S).Patients in group T received TEAS at LI4,PC6,ST36 and ST37.Patients in group S received pseudo-TEAS at sham acupoints.The stimulation was given from 30 min before anesthesia until the end of surgery.The same treatment was performed at 9 am on the 1st,2nd and 3rd days after surgery,until the recovery of flatus in patients.Main outcome measures:The primary outcome was the time to the first bowel motion,as detected by auscultation.The secondary outcomes included the first flatus and ambulation time,changes of perioperative substance P(SP),incidence of PGD,postoperative pain,postoperative nausea and vomiting(PONV)and some economic indicators.Results:The time to first bowel motion,first flatus and first ambulation in group T was much shorter than that in group S(P<0.01).In patients undergoing colorectal surgery,the concentration of SP was lower in group T than in group S on the third day after the operation(P<0.05).The average incidence of PGD in all patients was 25%,and the frequency of PGD was significantly lower in group T than in group S(18.6%vs.31.4%,respectively;P<0.05).TEAS treatment(odds ratio=0.498;95%confidence interval:0.232–0.786)and type of surgery were relevant factors for the development of PGD.Postoperative pain score and PONV occurrence were significantly lower in group T(P<0.01).Postoperative hospitalization days and the resulting cost to patients were greatly reduced in the TEAS group(P<0.01).Conclusion:Perioperative TEAS was able to promote the recovery of postoperative gastrointestinal function,reduce the incidence of PGD and PONV.The concentration of SP was decreased by TEAS treatment,which indicates that the brain-gut axis may play a role in how TEAS regulates gastrointestinal function.Trial registration:Chinese Clinical Trial Registry,Chi CTR1900023263.Wen-jing Li Chao Gao Li-xin An Yu-wei Ji Fu-shan Xue Yi Du 2021Journal of Integrative Medicine2021,19,3:16
7Pharmacokinetics of radioimmunotherapeutic agent of direct labeling mAb ^(188)Re-HAb18显示文摘AIM: To labed Anti-hepatoma monoclonal antibody (mAb)fragment HAb18 F (ab')2 was labeled with 188 Re for thepharmacokinetic model of 188 Re-HAb18 F (ab')2 and toevaluate its pharmacokinetic parameters in hepatoma-bearing nude mice.METHODS: HAb18 F(ab')2 was directly labeled with 188Reusing 2-mercaptoethanol (2-ME) as reducing agents.Labeling efficiency and immunoreactivity of 188 Re-HAb18 F( ab')2 were evaluated by Whatman 3MM paperchromatography and live cell assay, respectively.Biodiatribution analysis was also conducted in nude micebearing human hepatoma in which animals were sacrificed atdifferent time points(1, 4, 18, 24 and 24h) after 188Re-HAb18F(ab' )2 was injected through tail-vein into hepatoma-bearingnude mice. The blood and radioactivity of organs and masswere measured. The concentrations of 188 Re-HAb18 F(ab')2were evaluated with a pharmacokinetic 3P97 software.RESULTS: The optimum labeling efficiency andimmunoreactive fraction were 91.7% and 0.78%,respectively. The parameters of 188Re-HAb18 F(ab')2 were:T1/2, 2.29h; Vd, 1.49 × 10-9L@ Bq- 1; AUC, 20.49 × 109Bq@ h@L-1 ;CL, 0.45 × 10-3L@ h- 1. 188Re- HAb18 F(ab')2 could locatespecially in hepatoma with high selective reactivity of HAb18F(ab')2. 188 Re-HAb18 F(ab')2 was mainly eliminated bykidney. 10Inositol Pyrophosphate lnsP8 Acts as an Intracellular Phosphate Signal in Arabidopsis显示文摘The maintenance of cellular phosphate(Pi)homeostasis is of great importance in living organisms.The SPX domain-containing protein 1(SPX1)proteins from both Arabidopsis and rice have been proposed to act as sensors of Pi status.The molecular signal indicating the cellular Pi status and regulating Pi homeostasis in plants,however,remains to be identified,as Pi itself does not bind to the SPX domain.Here,we report the identification of the inositol pyrophosphate lnsP8 as a signaling molecule that regulates Pi homeostasis in Arabidopsis.Polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis profiling of InsPs revealed that lnsP8 level positively cor­relates with cellular Pi concentration.We demonstrated that the homologs of diphosphoinositol pentaki-sphosphate kinase(PPIP5K),VIH1 and VIH2,function redundantly to synthesize lnsP8,and that the vih1 vih2 double mutant overaccumulates Pi.SPX1 directly interacts with PHR1,the central regulator of Pi star­vation responses,to inhibit its function under Pi-replete conditions.However,this interaction is compro­mised in the vih1 vih2 double mutant,resulting in the constitutive induction of Pi starvation-induced genes,indicating that plant cells cannot sense cellular Pi status without lnsP8.Furthermore,we showed that lnsP8 could directly bind to the SPX domain of SPX1 and is essential for the interaction between SPX1 and PHR1.Collectively,our study suggests that lnsP8 is the intracellular Pi signaling molecule serving as the ligand of SPX1 for controlling Pi homeostasis in plants.Jinsong Dong Guojie Ma Liqian Sui Mengwei Wei Viswanathan Satheesh Ruyue Zhang Shenghong Ge Jinkai Li Tong-En Zhang Christopher Wittwer Henning JJessen Huiming Zhang Guo-Yong An Dai-Yin Chao Dong Liu Mingguang Lei 2019Molecular Plant2019,12,11:8
11Fog Computing Dynamic Load Balancing Mechanism Based on Graph Repartitioning显示文摘Because of cloud computing's high degree of polymerization calculation mode, it can't give full play to the resources of the edge device such as computing, storage, etc. Fog computing can improve the resource utilization efficiency of the edge device, and solve the problem about service computing of the delay-sensitive applications. This paper researches on the framework of the fog computing, and adopts Cloud Atomization Technology to turn physical nodes in different levels into virtual machine nodes. On this basis, this paper uses the graph partitioning theory to build the fog computing's load balancing algorithm based on dynamic graph partitioning. 12Inhibition of growth and metastasis of triple-negative breast cancer targeted by Traditional Chinese Medicine Tubeimu in orthotopic mice models显示文摘Objective: Triple-negative breast cancer(TNBC) is highly invasive and metastatic, which is in urgent need of transformative therapeutics. Tubeimu(TBM), the rhizome of Bolbostemma paniculatum(Maxim.) Franquet, is one of the Chinese medicinal herbs used for breast diseases since the ancient times. The present study evaluated the efficacy, especially the anti-metastatic effects of the dichloromethane extract of Tubeimu(ETBM) on TNBC orthotopic mouse models and cell lines.Methods: We applied real-time imaging on florescent orthotopic TNBC mice model and tested cell migration and invasion abilities with MDA-MB-231 cell line. Digital gene expression sequencing was performed and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes(KEGG) analysis applied to explore the pathways influenced by ETBM.Moreover, quantitative real-time polymerase chain reactions(q RT-PCR) and Western blot were delivered to confirm the gene expression changes.Results: ETBM exhibited noticeable control on tumor metastasis and growth of TNBC tumors with no obvious toxicity. In compliance with this, it also showed inhibition of cell migration and invasion in vitro. 14Effects of material of metallic frame on the penetration resistances of ceramic-metal hybrid structures显示文摘The effects of metallic material on the penetration resistances of ceramic-metal hybrid structures against vertical long-rod tungsten projectiles were studied by artillery-launched experiments and numerical simulation.Hybrid structures with rectangular cores in transverse orthogonal arrangement and slidefitting ceramic inserts of zirconia toughened alumina prisms were fabricated with titanium alloy TC4(Ti6 Al4 V),AISI 4340 steel and 7075 aluminum alloy panels,respectively.The results showed that the hybrid structure of Ti6A14V exhibited the highest penetration resistance,followed by that of 7075 aluminum alloy with the same area density.The penetration resistance of the hybrid structure of AISI4340 steel was the lowest.The underlying mechanisms showed that the metallic material of a ceramicmetal hybrid structure can directly affect its energy absorption from the impact projectile,which further affects its penetration resistance.Different metallic frames exhibited different failure characteristics,resulting in different constraint conditions or support conditions for ceramic prisms.The high penetration resistance of the Ti6Al4V hybrid structure was due to its stronger back support to ceramic prisms as compared with that of AISI 4340 steel hybrid structure,and better constraint condition for ceramic prisms by metallic webs as compared with that of 7075 aluminum alloy hybrid structure.The results of mass efficiency and thickness efficiency showed that the Ti6Al4V hybrid structure has advantages in reducing both the thickness and the mass of protective structure.In addition,because the ceramic-metal hybrid structures in the present work were heterogeneous,impact position has slight influence on their penetration resistances.Xuanyi An Chao Tian Qitian Sun Yongxiang Dong 2020Defence Technology(防务技术)2020,16,1:6
15Effectiveness of Catch-Up Vaccinations after COVID-19 Containment--China,2020显示文摘Introduction:In the early stages of the coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)epidemic in China,the highest level of public health emergency response(Level 1 Response)was launched in all province-level administrative divisions(PLADs)across the country.Provision of vaccination services was selectively suspended due to the physical distancing and gathering restrictions required of Level 1 Response.The purpose of this paper is to evaluate the impact of COVID-19 on vaccination services and the effectiveness of selective vaccination service suspension and catch-up vaccinations in China.Methods:Vaccine doses administered,routine vaccination coverage levels,catch-up vaccine doses administered,and coverage levels after the catch-up campaign were determined from individual vaccination records in sampled clinics,standard routine immunization administrative coverage reports,and catch-up vaccination activity reports submitted by PLADs between October 2019 and October 2020.Results:National Immunization Program(NIP)and non-NIP vaccine doses administered in sampled clinics decreased by 80% and 90%,respectively,compared with doses administered before the COVID-19 pandemic.Coverage with the birth dose of hepatitis B vaccine(HepB1)and the Bacillus Calmette-Guérin vaccine(BCG)—two vaccinations recommended to continue throughout the epidemic due to their timecritical nature—were maintained at over 85%,while coverage of other NIP vaccines decreased to below 60%by February 2020.Catch-up vaccination coverage of the 29 PLADs,excluding Xinjiang and Xizang(Tibet),began in April 2020 and exceeded 90%;Hubei catch-up coverage was 95% by October 2020.Conclusions and Implications for Public Health Practice:The COVID-19 pandemic had a great impact on China’s vaccination services.During the epidemic and time of local transmission of the coronavirus,HepB1,BCG,rabies vaccine for postexposure prophylaxis,and tetanus antitoxin(TAT)for wound prophylaxis were maintained at high levels.Of the 69 million vaccine doses postponed during the time of local transmission of the coronavirus,94% were administered in the catch-up campaign.China’s pandemic immunization practices may provide evidence for other countries’immunization programs.Jing Wu Wenzhou Yu Lei Cao Lingsheng Cao Lance Rodewald Jiakai Ye Yifan Song Li Li Xiaoxue Liu Ning Wen Fuzhen Wang Lixin Hao Yixing Li Hui Zheng Keli Li Chao Ma Dan Wu Yanmin Liu Guomin Zhang Zhijie An Huaqing Wang Zundong Yin 2020China CDC weekly2020,2,50:6
16Cable-like carbon nanotubes decorated metal-organic framework derived ultrathin CoSe2/CNTs nanosheets for electrocatalytic overall water splitting显示文摘The high cost and low reserves of noble metals greatly hinder their practical applications in new energy production and conversion.The exploration of cost-effective alternative electrocatalysts with the ability to drive hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)and oxygen evolution reaction(OER)is extremely significant to promote overall water splitting.Herein,ultrathin CoSe2/CNTs nanocomposites have been synthesized by a facile two-step method,where the ultrathin Co-MOF(metal organic-framework)decorated with cable-like carbon nanotubes(CNTs)(Co-MOF/CNTs)was initially fabricated,and followed a lowtemperature selenization process.The ultrathin CoSe2 nanosheets as well as the superior conductivity of CNTs synergistically resulted in abundant active sites and enhanced conductivity to boost the electrocatalytic activity.The as-prepared CoSe2/CNTs electrocatalysts exhibited an overpotential of190 mV and 300 mV vs.reversible hydrogen electrode(RHE)at a current density of 10 mA/cm^(2) for the HER and OER in alkaline solution,respectively,and demonstrated superior durability.Furthermore,the as-prepared bifunctional CoSe2/CNTs electrocatalysts can act as cathode and anode in an electrolyzer,showing a cell voltage of 1.75 V at 10 mA/cm^(2) for overall water splitting.Guijuan Wei Kun Du Xixia Zhao Jiayang Wang Wenxiu Yan Chao An Changhua An 2020Chinese Chemical Letters2020,31,10:5
17Gust load alleviation wind tunnel tests of a large-aspect-ratio flexible wing with piezoelectric control显示文摘An active control technique utilizing piezoelectric actuators to alleviate gust-response loads of a large-aspect-ratio flexible wing is investigated. Piezoelectric materials have been extensively used for active vibration control of engineering structures. In this paper, piezoelectric materials further attempt to suppress the vibration of the aeroelastic wing caused by gust. The motion equation of the flexible wing with piezoelectric patches is obtained by Hamilton's principle with the modal approach, and then numerical gust responses are analyzed, based on which a gust load alleviation(GLA) control system is proposed. The gust load alleviation system employs classic propor tional-integral-derivative(PID) controllers which treat piezoelectric patches as control actuators and acceleration as the feedback signal. By a numerical method, the control mechanism that piezoelectric actuators can be used to alleviate gust-response loads is also analyzed qualitatively. Furthermore, through low-speed wind tunnel tests, the effectiveness of the gust load alleviation active control technology is validated. The test results agree well with the numerical results. Test results show that at a certain frequency range, the control scheme can effectively alleviate the z and x wingtip accelerations and the root bending moment of the wing to a certain extent. 18Static aeroelastic analysis including geometric nonlinearities based on reduced order model显示文摘This paper describes a method proposed for modeling large deflection of aircraft in nonlinear aeroelastic analysis by developing reduced order model(ROM).The method is applied for solving the static aeroelastic and static aeroelastic trim problems of flexible aircraft containing geometric nonlinearities;meanwhile,the non-planar effects of aerodynamics and follower force effect have been considered.ROMs are computational inexpensive mathematical representations compared to traditional nonlinear finite element method(FEM) especially in aeroelastic solutions.The approach for structure modeling presented here is on the basis of combined modal/finite element(MFE) method that characterizes the stiffness nonlinearities and we apply that structure modeling method as ROM to aeroelastic analysis.Moreover,the non-planar aerodynamic force is computed by the non-planar vortex lattice method(VLM).Structure and aerodynamics can be coupled with the surface spline method.The results show that both of the static aeroelastic analysis and trim analysis of aircraft based on structure ROM can achieve a good agreement compared to analysis based on the FEM and experimental result.Xie Changchuan An Chao Liu Yi Yang Chao 2017Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2017,30,2:5
