3The protective effect of carnosic acid on dextran sulfate sodium-induced colitis based on metabolomics and gut microbiota analysis显示文摘Accumulating evidence suggests that the gut microbiota plays an important role in the pathogenesis of inflammatory bowel disease(IBD).Carnosic acid(CA)is a major antioxidant component of rosemary and sage.Herein,we investigated the protective effects of dietary CA on dextran sodium sulfate(DSS)-induced colitis mouse model with an emphasis on its impact on the composition and metabolic function of gut microbiota.We found that CA effectively attenuated DSS-stimulated colitis in mice,as evidenced by reduced disease activity index(DAI),and systemic and colonic inflammation.Additionally,CA restored microbial diversity and improved the composition of gut microbiota in DSS-treated mice.Moreover,Spearman’s correlation coefficient showed a significant correlation between the fecal metabolites and the gut microbiota species.Changes in gut microbiota and the correlated metabolites might partially explain CA’s anti-inflammatory effects against colitis.Future clinical trials are needed to determine the therapeutic effects and mechanisms of CA on IBD in humans.Changhui Du Zhenjie Li Jing Zhang Ni Yin Lirong Tang Jie Li Jingyin Sun Xiaoqing Yu Wei Chen Hang Xiao Xian Wu Xuexiang Chen 2023Food Science and Human Wellness2023,12,4:1
4Dependence of dielectric properties on BT particle size in EP/BT composites显示文摘The polymer-ceramic composites of epoxy resin (EP) and barium titanate (BT) were prepared. BT powders of different BT particle sizes from 100 nm to 1 μm were used in the preparation. The dielectric properties, such as dielectric constant, dielectric loss and electrical breakdown strength, of the EP/BT composites were studied. The morphology of the composites was characterized by the means of scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The results show that the dielectric constant of the composites is much higher than the epoxy matrix at frequency range from 1 kHz to 10 MHz, and it is also obviously dependent on the size of BT particles. The electrical breakdown strength of the composites decreases with the increase of the BT content. 5Resonance vibration approach in soil densification:laboratory experiences and numerical simulation显示文摘This paper describes the improvement effect and mechanism of strengthening a liquefied sand foundation using the cross-vibration wing resonance method,through an indoor model test and numerical simulation.The results obtained from the model test showed that a vertical drainage tube was formed during vibration compaction,and finally a crater with a depth of 40 mm and a radius of 150 mm was formed with sloping sides.The sand layer obtained a good improvement effect after resonance vibration,especially in the middle-lower sand deposit.The variation in excess pore water pressure showed different behavior in three stages of the vibration process,and the value after treatment was less than before with a decrease of 18.81%.The vibration energy in the horizontal direction gradually decreased to zero,however the absorption of vibration energy of the soil presented obvious nonuniformity along the depth direction.The results of the numerical simulation were similar to the model test results,including the scope and variation of pore water pressure,and the ground settlement after treatment.Du Guangyin Gao Changhui Liu Songyu Pan Huangsong Guo Qian Luo Tao 2021Earthquake Engineering and Engineering Vibration2021,20,2:1
6Potential risk of mitomycin C at high concentrations on peripheral nerve structure显示文摘Although the local application of mitomycin C may prevent epidural adhesion after laminectomy, mitomycin C can induce neurotoxicity in optic and acoustic nerves at high concentrations. To determine the safe concentration range for mitomycin C, cotton pads soaked with mitomycin C at different concentrations(0.1, 0.3, 0.5, and 0.7 mg/mL) were immediately applied for 5 minutes to the operation area of rats that had undergone laminectomy at L1. Rat sciatic nerves, instead of dorsal nerves, were used in this study. The results showed that mitomycin C at 0.1–0.5 mg/mL did not damage the structure and function of the sciatic nerve, while at 0.7 mg/mL, mitomycin C significantly reduced the thickness of the sciatic nerve myelin sheath compared with lower concentrations, though no functional change was found. These experimental findings indicate that the local application of mitomycin C at low concentrations is safe to prevent scar adhesion following laminectomy, but that mitomycin C at high concentrations(> 0.7 mg/mL) has potential safety risks to peripheral nerve structures.Tao Sui Jinhong Zhang Shihao Du Changhui Su Jun Que Xiaojian Cao 2014Neural Regeneration Research2014,9,8:1
7Series multilayer internal electrodes for high energy density glass-ceramic capacitors显示文摘The glass-ceramic dielectrics and internal electrode structures are investigated for improving the general energy storage density of capacitors. Calculation indicates that glass-ceramics acquired from glass matrix annealing at 850℃ for 3 hours can be approximately up to 17 J/cm3 in energy storage density. They are appropriately chosen as the dielectrics for preparing high energy storage density capacitors (HESDCs). A series multilayer structure of internal electrode is developed for the HESDCs, in which each layer is a combination of gold film and silver paste. This electrode structure promises the capacitor immune from the residual porosity defects inevitably brought by electrode paste sintering process, and specifically improves the electrical breakdown strength of the capacitor. Based on this new electrode structure, the energy storage densities of capacitors are increased by more than one order of magnitude compared with those traditional ones with only single layer of internal electrode. 9Effect of annealing temperature on structure and electrochemical properties of LiCoO_2 cathode thin films显示文摘LiCoO2 thin films, which can be used as a cathode material in microbatteries, were deposited using radio frequency (r.f.) magnetron sputtering system from a LiCoO2 target and in an O2+Ar atmosphere. The films were characterized by various methods such as XRD, SEM and AFM. The LiCoO2 films were annealed in air at 300, 500, 700 and 800 ℃ respectively. The effect of the annealing temperature on the structure, the surface morphology and the electrochemical properties of the films were investigated. The LiCoO2 thin film deposited at room temperature is amorphous and has smaller grain size. With increasing of annealing temperature, the crystallinity of the films is promoted. When the annealing temperature increases to 700 ℃, the films have a perfect crystalline LiCoO2 phase. The LiCoO2 thin film without annealing has no discharge plateau and small discharge capacity (about 27 μAh·cm-2μm). The discharge capacity increases with the increasing of annealing temperature and reaches 47 μAh·cm-2μm for the film annealed with 700 ℃, which also shows the typical discharge plateau of 3.9 V. The cycle performance of LiCoO2 thin films of as grown and annealed at different temperatures were studied. In the case of the film without thermal treatment, the capacity fading is much faster than that of the film annealed at different temperature, showing about 40% capacity loss only after 25 cycles. However, in the case of the film annealed at 700 ℃, the capacity reaches to steady state gradually and maintained constantly with cycling. After 25 times cycling, the discharge capacity of the film annealed at 700 ℃ decreases to about 36.9 μAh·cm-2·μm, only 0.8% capacity loss per cycle.YANG Zhimin XING Guangjian YANG Jian MAO Changhui DU Jun 2006Rare Metals2006,25,z2:0
10Effects of Na_2O content on crystallization and dielectric properties of Na_2O-PbO-Nb_2O_5-SiO_2 glass-ceramic显示文摘Na2O-PbO-Nb2O5-SiO2 glass-ceramic were synthesized by melt-quench process. The crystallization processing of the dielectric phases were carried out at temperature range from 750 to 900 ℃. The effects of Na2O content on crystallization and dielectric properties of Na2O-PbO-Nb2O5-SiO2 glass-ceramic were investigated by means of differential thermal analysis(DTA), X-ray diffraction (XRD) and dielectric constant measurements. The results show that Pb2Nb2O7, NaNbO3 and PbNb2O6 are the crystallization phases which would be formed from the Na2O-PbO-Nb2O5-SiO2 glass at the temperature range from 750 to 900 ℃. For a definite Na2O content, the dielectric constant increases with crystallization temperature. The initial crystallization temperature of NaNbO3 phase decreases with the increase of Na2O content, leading to the increase of dielectric constant of the glass-ceramic. Formation of PbNb2O6 phase at 850 and 900 ℃ would greatly increase the dielectric constant of Na2O-PbO-Nb2O5-SiO2 glass-ceramics, but the increase of Na2O content will inhibit the crystallization of PbNb2O6 phase.GAO Jian MAO Changhui DU Jun TANG Qun 2006Rare Metals2006,25,z2:0
11Chemical chaperone delivered nanoscale metal–organic frameworks as inhibitor of endoplasmic reticulum for enhanced sensitization of thermo-chemo therapy显示文摘Thermotherapy and chemotherapy have received extensive attention to tumor treatment. However, thermal tolerance and drug resistance severely limit clinical effect of tumor therapy owing to endoplasmic reticulum(ER) stress. Reducing thermal tolerance and drug resistance of tumors is an urgent challenge to be solved. In this work, we design a nanoplatform of PBA-Dtxl@MIL-101 as an ER inhibitor. Amino functionalized Fe-metal organic framework(MIL-101) nanoparticles are synthesized as p H and microwave(MW) dual stimuli-responsive drug delivery system. Then, the chemical chaperones of 4-phenylbutyric acid(PBA) and antineoplastic drug Docetaxel(Dtxl) were successfully loaded into MIL-101 nanoparticles to form PBA-Dtxl@MIL-101 nanoparticles. Furthermore, PBA-Dtxl@MIL-101 nanoparticles exhibit inhibitor effect of ER stress through upregulating caspase 9 proteins and reduce thermal tolerance by downregulating HSP 90. 12Ultra-fast and linear polarization-sensitive photodetectors based on ReSe_(2)/MoS_(2) van der Waals heterostructures显示文摘Recently,van der Waals heterostructures(vdWHs)constructed by transition-metal dichalcogenides(TMDCs)have come under the research spotlight owing to their excellent capabilities,multiple functionalities,and innovative architecture for advanced optoelectronic devices.Herein,novel heterojunction photodetectors composed of monolayer molybdenum disulfide(MoS2)and few-layer rhenium selenide(ReSe_(2))are explored for ultra-fast and polarization detection.Owing to the enhanced light-matter interactions and type-II band alignment of the ReSe_(2)/MoS_(2) heterostructure,the photodetector exhibits impressive performances at 638 nm in terms of a high on/off ratio~104,large photoresponsivity~3.52 A/W,high specific detectivity~1011 Jones,and large 3 dB frequency of 65.7 kHz.In addition,ultrafast rise/decay times(5.0/9.1 ms)are obtained under pulsed incident light contributed to the built-in electric field at the heterointerface,demonstrating a result one or two orders of magnitude faster than the currently reported values of group VII-TMDCs based photodetectors.Beyond the conventional photodetection,this photodetector also displays polarization detection capability with sensitivity 1.35.Such Re-based vdWHs provide superior platforms for the realization of ultra-fast and polarization-sensitive photodetection in broadband spectrum.Kuilong Li Changhui Du Honglei Gao Tianhao Yin Yikang Yu Wenjia Wang 2022Journal of Materiomics2022,8,6:0
