| 1 | Progesterone treatment before experimental hypoxia-ischemia enhances the expression of glucose transporter proteins GLUT1 and GLUT3 in neonatal rats显示文摘Progesterone is an efficient candidate for treating stroke and traumatic brain damage. The current study was designed to investigate the effects of progesterone on glucose transporter proteins (GLUT1 and GLUT3) during hypoxic-ischemic injury in a neonatal rat model. We demonstrated strong staining for GLUT1 in the walls of blood vessels and GLUT3 immunoreactivity in hippocampal neurons after hypoxiaischemia. Hypoxia-ischemia elevated GLUT1 and GLUT3 at both the mRNA and protein levels in the hippocampus, and pre-treatment with progesterone (8 mg/kg) further enhanced their accumulation until 24 h after hypoxic-ischemic injury. | 2 | Enhanced mechanical property and tunable dielectric property of SiC_(f)/SiC-SiBCN composites by CVI combined with PIP显示文摘The SiBCN matrix via chemical vapor infiltration(CVI)or/and polymer infiltration pyrolysis(PIP)technologies was orderly introduced to SiC_(f)/SiC composites to optimize the mechanical property and electromagnetic(EM)shielding effectiveness simultaneously.The BN interface with the thickness of 350 nm was designed to obtain a little stronger interface bonding.The flexural strength of SiC_(f)/SiC-SiBCN composites reached 545.45±29.59 MPa thanks to the crack deflection between the CVI SiC and CVI SiBCN,as well as CVI SiBCN and PIP SiBCN matrix because of the modulus difference between them.The fracture toughness(KiC)with the value of 16.02±0.94 MPa·m^(1/2) was obtained owing to the extension of crack propagation path.The adverse effect of stronger interface bonding was eliminated by the design of matrix microstructure for SiC_(f)/SiC-SiBCN composites.The thermal conductivity in the thickness direction was 7.64 W·(m·K)^(-1) at 1200℃and the electric resistivity decreased to 1.53×10^(3) Ω·m.The tunable dielectric property was obtained with the coordination of wave-absorption CVI SiBCN matrix and impedance matching PIP SiBCN matrix,and the total shielding effectiveness(SE_(T))attained 30.01 dB.It indicates that the SiC_(f)/SiC-SiBCN composites have great potential to be applied as structural and functional materials. | Chaokun SONG Yongsheng LIU Fang YE Laifei CHENG Pengfei ZHANG Nan CHAI | 2021 | Journal of Advanced Ceramics2021,10,4: | 4 |

| 4 | Genetic interpretation of fish swimming trails and calculation of fish-body length in Late Triassic Hengshan, Shannxi Province, China显示文摘The fish swimming trail fossils are rare and, therefore, precious. The specimen de-scribed abroad are generally smaller or more poorly preserved. The specimens used in the pre-sent study and derived from the Mesozoic strata in Hengshan County, Shaanxi Province, China, are rare because of their completeness (with the length of the specimen reaching 4 m), exquisiteness and largeness in trace body. These specimens, classified as four ichnospecies, including two new ones, show the morphological pattern of the fish swimming trails. | 5 | Experimental Research on Structural Behaviors of Glulam I-Beam with a Special-Shaped Section显示文摘In order to enhance the bearing capacity of structural components,save materials,and reduce cost,a glued laminated timber(glulam)I-beam that is theoretically suitable for engineering application was proposed.In this study,18 glulam specimens were fabricated using larch dimension lumber and resorcinol-formaldehyde resin.Four-point bending tests were carried out to compare the ultimate bearing capacity,strain,and deflection of various specimens.The results showed that:(1)The typical failure mode at bending is the web shear failure parallel to grain.Before the failure,cracks and sounds appear at the beam web,which represent the sudden brittle failure.(2)The cross-sectional strain of glulam beam changed linearly with the beam height,indicating that the plane section assumption was basically established.(3)Stiffener could improve the initial flexural stiffness of glulam beam,which experiences an increase of 28.21%.Larger the shear span ratio,smaller the initial flexural stiffness.The initial flexural stiffness improves by 10-23.5%with the increase in the thickness of the lower flange.(4)The effects of stiffener and shear-span ratio on shear strength are relatively significant.After the stiffeners are set at the support and the loading point in pairs,the shear strength of the glulam beam increases by 15.05%averagely.With the increase in the shear-span ratio,the shearing strength of the glulam I-beam gradually reduces.The equation of the shearing strength with the shear span ratio is obtained,which is shown by high fitting precision.(5)The shear strength correlation,as proposed by Soltis and Rammer,is suitable not only for rectangular beams,but also for glulam I-beams. | Ruyuan Yang Chaokun Hong Xiaofeng Zhang Quan Yuan Youfu Sun | 2020 | Journal of Renewable Materials2020,8,2: | 2 |

Feature selection is a solution that involves finding the optimal subset, which is known to be an NP problem because of the large search space.Considering this, a new feature selection approach based on Binary Chemical Reaction Optimization algorithm(BCRO) and k-Nearest Neighbors(KNN) classifier is presented in this paper. Tabu search is integrated with CRO framework to enhance local search capacity. KNN is adopted to evaluate the quality of selected candidate subset.
