3Stress-induced CsPbBr3 nanocrystallization on glass surface:Unexpected mechanoluminescence and applications显示文摘In this work,we discovered an unexpected mechanoluminescence (ML) phenomena occurring when transforming amorphous into crystalline,due to the stress-induced precipitation of CsPbBr3 perovskite nanocrystals on glass surface.It is revealed that,unlike the conventional thermal-induced phase transformation mechanism,the breakage of bonding of glass network provides the energy for nucleation and growth,and the shear stress avoids the long-range migration of structural units for crystallization.Such unique ML phenomenon enables the visualization of dynamical force that is inaccessible by common strategy,and so,opens up some novel applications,such as the pressure-sensitive 'glassy pencil' to learn people's writing habits,and the pb^2+-detection with good sensitivity and selectivity.These findings not only demonstrate an effective route for the preparation of perovskite materials in a green,time-saving,low cost,and scalable way,enrich the knowledge of glass crystallization mechanism,but also exploit a useful avenue to quantitatively visualize the dynamical force.Xiaoqiang Xiang Hang Lin Renfu Li Yao Cheng Qingming Huang Ju Xu Congyong Wang Xueyuan Chen Yuansheng Wang 2019Nano Research2019,12,5:8
4The role of transcriptional factor D-site-binding protein in circadian CCL2 gene expression in anti-Thy1 nephritis显示文摘Mesangial proliferative glomerulonephritis(MsPGN)is an inflammatory disease,but both the nature of disease progression and its regulation remain unclear.In the present study,we monitored the course of anti-Thy1 nephritis from days 1 to 5 and established gene expression profiles at each time point using microarrays to explore the development of inflammation.According to the gene expression profiles,macrophage infiltration(triggered by CCL2 activation)was evident on day 1 and enhanced inflammation over the next few days.We screened for genes with expression levels similar to CCL2 and found that the upregulation of the circadian gene albumin D-site-binding protein(DBP)was involved in CCL2 activation in mesangial cells.More importantly,CCL2 expression showed oscillatory changes similar to DBP,and DBP induced peak CCL2 expression at 16:00 a clock on day 1 in the anti-Thy1 nephritis model.We knocked down DBP through transfection with a small interfering RNA(siRNA)and used RNA sequencing to identify the DBP-regulated TNF-α-CCL2 pathway.We performed chromatin immunoprecipitation sequencing(ChIP-Seq)and the dual luciferase assay to show that DBP bound to the TRIM55 promoter,regulating gene expression and in turn controlling the TNF-α-CCL2 pathway.In conclusion,DBP-regulated circadian CCL2 expression by the TRIM55-TNF pathway in injured mesangial cells at an early stage,which promoted macrophage recruitment and in turn triggered infiltration and inflammation in a model of anti-Thy1 nephritis.Yang Lu Yan Mei Lei Chen Lingling Wu Xu Wang Yingjie Zhang Bo Fu Xizhao Chen Yuansheng Xie Guangyan Cai Xueyuan Bai Qinggang Li Xiangmei Chen 2019Cellular & Molecular Immunology2019,16,9:7

6Xuefuzhuyu injection induces neuronal differentiation of rat bone morrow mesenchymal stem cells显示文摘The primary effective components of Xuefuzhuyu,including Rhizoma Chqanxiong,Radix Salviae Miltiorrhiae,and Radix Angelicae Sinensis,have been shown to induce the differentiation of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells(BMMSCs) into neuronal-like cells.However,there is little available evidence on the effects of the Chinese herbal compound Xuefuzhuyu on BMMSC differentiation.The present study investigated the effects of Xuefuzhuyu on differentiation of rat BMMSCs into neuronal-like cells,and evaluated the optimal concentration for inducing differentiation.Inverted microscopy was used to observe BMMSCs induced by Xuefuzhuyu;immunocytochemistry revealed expression of the neuronal marker neuron-specific enolase surface antigen in the majority of BMMSCs following treatment with Xuefuzhuyu at concentrations of 1,3,5,and 10 g/L.A concentration of 3 g/L resulted in highest neuron-specific enolase expression.These results suggest that BMMSCs can be induced to differentiate into neuronal-like cells with Xuefuzhuyu,and 3 g/L is the optimal inductive concentration for effective differentiation.Yin, Yanqing Chen, Bing Ke, Junlong Mo, Wei Zou, Xinhui Liang, Yuansheng 2011Neural Regeneration Research2011,6,3:6
7Concentration quenching in transparent glass ceramics containing Er^(3+):NaYF_4 nanocrystals显示文摘In this work, we have studied the concentration quenching in transparent glass ceramics containing Er3+:NaYF4 nanocrystals. For different concentrations, the emission spectra and decay curves of the 4I13/2→4I15/2 emission were measured. The Er-concentration dependence of integrated intensity and lifetime of 4I13/2→4I15/2 emission are showed. With the increase of the Er3+ doping concentration, the 1.5 m fluorescence emission first increases, then decreases, and the lifetime falls gradually. With 980 nm excitation, the efficiency of the energy transfer from Er3+ to quenching centers reaches 73.73% for the sample with 4 mol% Er3+. Meanwhile, owing to the relation of fluorescence integrated intensity and Er-concentration, a dipole-dipole quenching mechanism in the framework of a limited diffusion regime has been proved. Using the limited diffusion case, the critical concentration for quenching has been determined from a fitting equation of the lifetime and Er-concentration. 9Crustal velocity structure of central Gansu Province from regional seismic waveform inversion using firework algorithm显示文摘The firework algorithm(FWA) is a novel swarm intelligence-based method recently proposed for the optimization of multi-parameter, nonlinear functions. Numerical waveform inversion experiments using a synthetic model show that the FWA performs well in both solution quality and efficiency. We apply the FWA in this study to crustal velocity structure inversion using regional seismic waveform data of central Gansu on the northeastern margin of the Qinghai-Tibet plateau. Seismograms recorded from the moment magnitude(MW) 5.4 Minxian earthquake enable obtaining an average crustal velocity model for this region. We initially carried out a series of FWA robustness tests in regional waveform inversion at the same earthquake and station positions across the study region,inverting two velocity structure models, with and without a low-velocity crustal layer; the accuracy of our average inversion results and their standard deviations reveal the advantages of the FWA for the inversion of regional seismic waveforms. We applied the FWA across our study area using three component waveform data recorded by nine broadband permanent seismic stations with epicentral distances ranging between 146 and 437 km. These inversion results show that the average thickness of the crust in this region is 46.75 km, while thicknesses of the sedimentary layer, and the upper, middle, and lower crust are 3.15,15.69, 13.08, and 14.83 km, respectively. 10Effects of organic acids on dissolution of Fe and Mn from weathering coal gangue显示文摘Understanding the effects of organic acids(OA) on the transformation of Fe and Mn to surface water from the weathering coal gangue is of great bene?t to risk assessment and remediation strategies for contaminated water and soil. Based on the investigation on surface water in the central coal districts of the Guizhou Province, 18 water samples were collected for heavy metal analysis. The results indicated that the p H value of surface water is low(3.11–4.92), and Fe concentration(1.31–5.55 mg L^(-1)) and Mn concentration(1.90–5.71 mg L^(-1)) were, on average,10.86 and 34.33 times the limit of Surface Water Quality Standards, respectively. In order to evaluate the effects of the OA on the dissolution of Fe and Mn from the weathering coal gangue, column elution and batch leaching experiments were conducted. The results show that the low molecular weight of organic acids(LMWOAs, i.e., oxalic,tartaric, malic and citric acids) and fulvic acids signi?-cantly accelerated the dissolution of Fe and Mn; in addition, when the concentration of OA reached 25 mmol L^(-1),the concentrations of Fe, and Mn were 1.14–67.08 and1.11–2.32 times as high as those in 0.5 mmol L^(-1)OA,respectively. 14Hydrogen Bonding-Assisted Synthesis of Silica/Oxidized Mesocarbon Microbeads Encapsulated in Amorphous Carbon as Stable Anode for Optimized/Enhanced Lithium Storage显示文摘The practical application of silica-based composites as an alternative to commercial graphite anode materials is hampered by their large volumetric expansion,poor conductivity,and low Coulombic efficiency.In this work,a novel silica/oxidized mesocarbon microbead/amorphous carbon(SiO2/O’MCMB/C)hierarchical structure in which SiO2 is sandwiched between spherical graphite and amorphous carbon shell was succes sfully fabricated through hydrogen bonding-assisted self-assembly and post-carbon coating method.The obtained three-layer hierarchical structure effectively accommodates the volumetric expansion of SiO2 and significantly enhances the electronic conductivity of composite materials.Moreover,the outer layer of amorphous carbon effectively increases the diffusion rate of lithium ions and promotes the formation of stable SEI film.As a result,the SiO2/O’MCMB/C composite exhibits superior electrochemical performance with a reversible capacity of 459.5 mA h/g in the first cycle,and the corresponding Coulombic efficiency is 62.8%.After 300 cycles,the capacity climbs to around 600 mA h/g.This synthetic route provides an efficient method for preparing SiO2 supported on graphite with excellent electrochemical performance,which is likely to promote its commercial applications.Zongjie Cao Huitian Liu Wenlong Huang Peng Chen Yuansheng Liu Yu Yu Zhongqiang Shan Shuxian Meng 2020Transactions of Tianjin University2020,26,1:2
15Practices and Advances in Exploring the Subsurface Structure and Its Temporal Evolution with Repeatable Artificial Sources显示文摘The earth's structure may change with time under natural or anthropogenic loading.Monitoring the subtle changes of the subsurface structure with repeatable seismic sources such as repeating earthquakes,ambient seismic noise and artificial sources has become one of the hot topics in seismological research. These studies provide important clues in understanding the physical process of hazardous events such as earthquakes and volcanic eruptions. In this review we introduce the practices and advances in exploring and monitoring the subsurface structure with artificial seismic sources. This review is orgainzed as follows. Firstly,we describe the studies on the characteristics of different types of seismic source( especially the airgun source). Then the advances on data processing and mechanical understanding are depicted. 16Evaluation and prediction of earth pressure balance shield performance in complex rock strata:A case study in Dalian,China显示文摘This research explores the potential for the evaluation and prediction of earth pressure balance shield performance based on a gray system model.The research focuses on a shield tunnel excavated for Metro Line 2 in Dalian,China.Due to the large error between the initial geological exploration data and real strata,the project construction is extremely difficult.In view of the current situation regarding the project,a quantitative method for evaluating the tunneling efficiency was proposed using cutterhead rotation(R),advance speed(S),total thrust(F)and torque(T).A total of 80 datasets with three input parameters and one output variable(F or T)were collected from this project,and a prediction framework based gray system model was established.Based on the prediction model,five prediction schemes were set up.Through error analysis,the optimal prediction scheme was obtained from the five schemes.The parametric investigation performed indicates that the relationships between F and the three input variables in the gray system model harmonize with the theoretical explanation.The case shows that the shield tunneling performance and efficiency are improved by the tunneling parameter prediction model based on the gray system model.Xiang Shen Dajun Yuan Xing-Tao Lin Xiangsheng Chen Yuansheng Peng 2023Journal of Rock Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering2023,15,6:1

19Controlling dynamic recrystallization via modified LPSO phase morphology and distribution in Mg-Gd-Y-Zn-Zr alloy显示文摘Featured initial microstructures of Mg-11Gd-4Y-2Zn-0.5Zr alloy(wt%) were obtained by adjusting temperatures of solid solution and cooling methods, including island intergranular 18R and 14H LPSO phases with low-density stacking faults, differentially spaced lamellar intragranular 14H-LPSO phases, and network intergranular 18R-LPSO phases with high-density intragranular stacking faults. Effects of these featured LPSO phases and stacking faults on dynamic recrystallization(DRX) behavior were investigated via hot compression. Promoted DRX behavior via particle stimulated nucleation(PSN) is introduced by coexisting intergranular island 18R and 14H LPSO phases and intragranular wide spacing lamellar 14H-LPSO phases, contributing the highest DRX fraction of 42.6%. Conversely, it is found that DRX behavior with network intergranular 18R-LPSO phases and dense intragranular stacking fault is considerably inhibited with the lowest fraction of 22.8%. That is, the restricted DRX due to dislocations pinning by stacking faults overwhelms the enhanced DRX behavior via PSN of island intergranular 18R and 14H LPSO phases.
