| 5 | Kinetically regulated one-pot synthesis of cationic gold nanoparticles and their size-dependent antibacterial mechanism显示文摘Cationic gold nanoparticles(cAuNPs)have been regarded as promising candidates for antibacterial applications due to their high surface charge density,favorable biocompatibility,and controllable surface chemistry.Nevertheless,the complicated fabrication process and unclear antibacterial mechanism have greatly hindered the further biomedical application of cAuNPs.Herein,we have developed a simple and controllable strategy for synthesizing cAuNPs with tailored size and antibacterial behavior by kinetically modulating the reaction process.Specifically,a functional ligand,(11-mercaptoundecyl)-N,N,Ntrimethylammonium bromide(MUTAB),was chosen to chemically manipulate the positive surface charge of cAuNPs via a one-step strategy.The size of cAuNPs could be flexibly adjusted from 1.1 to 14.8 nm by simply elevating the stirring speed of the reaction from 0 to 1500 rpm.Further studies revealed that the antibacterial effect of cAuNPs was strongly correlated with the particle size.MUTAB-protected ultrasmall gold nanoclusters(MUTAB-AuNCs)were able to eradicate E.coli at a concentration as low as 1.25μg mL^(-1),while the minimum inhibitory concentration of MUTAB-AuNPs with a large size for E.coli was 5μg mL^(-1).Mechanistic investigation revealed that MUTAB-AuNPs were able to damage the bacterial membrane and stimulate the production of reactive oxygen species more effectively than MUTAB-AuNCs.Conversely,MUTAB-AuNCs were more active in inducing membrane depolarization in contrast to MUTAB-AuNPs,suggesting the unique size-dependent antibacterial manner of cAuNPs.This study presents a new strategy for the controlled preparation of cAuNPs with distinct sizes and antibacterial behavior,laying a valuable foundation for developing efficient cationic NP-based bactericidal agents. | Chenqiang Shen Yumeng Xue Yixiao Li Mengying Wei Mengyao Wen Lianbing Zhang Li Shang | 2023 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2023,,31: | 1 |
| 6 | Characteristics of the Submarine Topography and its Profile Type of the Coast of China显示文摘Based on the latest submarine topography data of the China 908 Project(China offshore marine environmental comprehensive investigation and assessment),we analyzed the general China offshore submarine topographical characteristics and the factors influencing its development.The submarine topography off the coast of China follows the NW-SE trend of the land topography.The gradient of the submarine topography ranges from 0.2%to 1.6%with an average gradient of about0.8%.The depth contours run mostly parallel to the coast,and extend out to sea in estuary areas.The submarine topography is dominated by the geological structure,which shows the typical characteristics of two uplifts and two subsidence events from north to south.The geological structure combined with the different sedimentary environments and complex hydrodynamic conditions produced topography that can be characterized by three types:sedimentary basins,compressionuplift,and transition form.In the sedimentary basin and compression-uplift regions,the topographical undulation is small,sediments are fine-grained,and the currents flow in a single direction,leading to bays with sedimentary plains and underwater accumulation slopes,which are of the same tectonic origin.Transition-type topography is characterized by strong undulations and mixed-size sediment particles,terraces and scarps inshore and shelf plains and erosion-deposition landforms offshore.This is a result of incomplete fault block development and repeated transgressions.In the deposition reformation regions(transition form type),the topography has strong undulations,the sediments are coarse,tidal sand ridges are well-developed at terrigenoussupplied estuaries and convergence zones,and the Holocene sediments are thick,transformed by tides,river runoff,and currents. | CAO Chao CAI Feng LI Yan ZHENG Yongling WU Chenqiang LU Huiquan BAO Jingjing XU Yan | 2013 | Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2013,87,6: | 1 |

| 12 | Identification prognostic features related to sphingolipid metabolism and experimental validation of TRIM47 in hepatocellular carcinoma显示文摘Background:The specific impact of sphingolipid metabolism on developing hepatocellular Carcinoma(HCC)remains unclear.This study aims to explore the relationship between sphingolipid metabolism and HCC prognosis,immune response,and drug sensitivity.Methods:Data were obtained from The Cancer Genome Atlas(TCGA)-Hepatocellular Carcinoma(LIHC)and Gene Expression Omnibus(GEO,GSE14520 datasets).47 sphingolipid metabolism genes were obtained from the Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes(KEGG)database.After classifying HCC samples using the Non-negative Matrix Factorization(NMF)clustering method,differentially expressed genes were screened.Then,8 risk genes were obtained by univariate analysis,survival random forest reduction and lasso analysis.The expression of 8 risk genes was verified in vitro.Results:8 risk genes were used to construct the Sphingolipid score model.High-Sphingolipid score predicted poor prognosis of HCC patients.Sphingolipid score was associated with immune checkpoints(IL-1B,TLR4,TGFB1,and IL-10),immune cells(Th2,Treg,MDSC,Neutrophil,Fibroblasts and macrophage),and MAPK Cascade.In the High-Sphingolipid score group,a significantly higher proportion of patients with TP53(p53)mutations was significantly higher(56%).Furthermore,patients with a high-Sphingolipid score were predicted to have a higher sensitivity to chemotherapy drugs.In vitro validation showed that compared with normal liver cells LX-2,TRIM47,and S100A9 significantly increased in liver cancer cells Hep G2,MHCC-97H,and Hep3B2.1-7,while SLC1A7,LPCAT1,and CFHR4 significantly decreased.Silencing TRIM47 reduced the proliferation and promoted apoptosis.The levels of ceramide synthesis-related indexes(CERS1,CERS6,CERS5,and SPTLC2)increased,and the ACER3 related to catalytic hydrolysis decreased.Conclusion:We constructed a sphingolipid metabolism-related prognostic signature(Sphingolipid score)based on 8 risk genes.TRIM47 may affect the development of liver cancer by regulating the relevant indicators of ceramide synthesis and catalytic hydrolysis. | JIAN TANG CHENQIANG ZHU YUN CHEN YUNLONG WU MING HE YI ZHOU MINGHUA XIE | 2024 | BIOCELL2024,48,4: | 0 |
| 13 | Robust low-rank tensor factorization by cyclic weighted median显示文摘Low-rank tensor factorization(LRTF) provides a useful mathematical tool to reveal and analyze multi-factor structures underlying data in a wide range of practical applications. One challenging issue in LRTF is how to recover a low-rank higher-order representation of the given high dimensional data in the presence of outliers and missing entries, i.e., the so-called robust LRTF problem. The L1-norm LRTF is a popular strategy for robust LRTF due to its intrinsic robustness to heavy-tailed noises and outliers. However, few L1-norm LRTF algorithms have been developed due to its non-convexity and non-smoothness, as well as the high order structure of data. In this paper we propose a novel cyclic weighted median(CWM) method to solve the L1-norm LRTF problem. The main idea is to recursively optimize each coordinate involved in the L1-norm LRTF problem with all the others fixed. Each of these single-scalar-parameter sub-problems is convex and can be easily solved by weighted median filter, and thus an effective algorithm can be readily constructed to tackle the original complex problem. | 14 | Influence of Acid Treatment on Pore Structure and Fractal Characterization of a Tight Sandstone:A Case Study from Wudun Sag,Dunhuang Basin显示文摘In this study,X-ray diffraction,N_(2)adsorption(N_(2)A),and mercury intrusion(MI)experiments were used to investigate the influence of acid treatment on pore structure and fractal characterization of tight sandstones.The results showed that acid treatment generated a certain number of ink-bottle pores in fine sandstone,aggravated the ink-bottle effect in the sandy mudstone,and transformed some smaller pores into larger ones.After the acid treatment,both the pore volume in the range of 2–11 nm and 0.271–8μm for the fine sandstone and the entire pore size range for the sandy mudstone significantly increased.The dissolution of sandstone cement causes the fine sandstone particles to fall off and fill the pores;the porosity increased at first but then decreased with acid treatment time.The fractal dimension obtained using the Frenkel-Halsey-Hill model was positively correlated with acid treatment time.However,the total fractal dimensions obtained by MI tests showed different changes with acid treatment time in fine sandstone and sandy mudstone.These results provide good guiding significance for reservoir acidification stimulation. | GENG Weile WANG Jiandong ZHANG Xuecai WANG Jun DONG Chenqiang ZHOU Guangqing HUANG Gun LI Lin | 2023 | Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2023,97,2: | 0 |
