Progresses on microwave remote sensing of land surface parameters显示文摘Highly accurate observations at various scales on the land surface are urgently needed for the studies of many areas, such as hydrology, meteorology, and agriculture. With the rapid development of remote sensing techniques, remote sensing has had the capacity of monitoring many factors of the Earth's land surface.Especially, the space-borne microwave remote sensing systems have been widely used in the quantitative monitoring of global snow, soil moisture, and vegetation parameters with their all-weather,all-time observation capabilities and their sensitivities to the characteristics of land surface factors.Based on the electromagnetic theories and microwave radiative transfer equations, researchers have achieved great successes in the microwave remote sensing studies for different sensors in recent years. This article has systematically reviewed the progresses on five research areas including microwave theoretical modeling, microwave inversion on soil moisture, snow, vegetation and land surface temperatures.Through the further enrichment of remote sensing datasets and the development of remote sensing theories and inversion techniques, remote sensing including microwave remote sensing will play a more important role in the studies and applications of the Earth systems. | SHI JianCheng DU Yang DU JinYang JIANG LingMei CHAI LinNa MAO KeBiao XU Peng NI WenJian XIONG Chuan LIU Qiang LIU ChenZhou GUO Peng CUI Qian LI YunQing CHEN Jing WANG AnQi LUO HeJia WANG YinHui | 2012 | Science China Earth Sciences2012,55,7: | 24
POSITIVE SOLUTIONS TO m-POINT BOUNDARY VALUE PROBLEM OF NONLINEAR FRACTIONAL DIFFERENTIAL EQUATION WITH p-LAPLACIAN显示文摘In this paper,we are concerned with the existence of positive solutions to an m-point boundary value problem with p-Laplacian of nonlinear fractional differential equation.By means of Krasnosel'skii fixed-point theorem on a convex cone and Leggett-Williams fixed-point theorem, the existence results of solutions are obtained. | Anping Chen~1,2,Yi Chen~1 (1.School of Math.and Computational Science,Xiangtan University,Xiangtan 411005,Hunan 2.Dept.of Math.,Xiangnan University,Chenzhou 423000,Hunan) | 2011 | Annals of Differential Equations2011,27,4: | 15
Wnt/β-catenin signaling in cancers and targeted therapies显示文摘Wnt/β-catenin signaling has been broadly implicated in human cancers and experimental cancer models of animals.Aberrant activation of Wnt/β-catenin signaling is tightly linked with the increment of prevalence, advancement of malignant progression, development of poor prognostics, and even ascendence of the cancer-associated mortality.Early experimental investigations have proposed the theoretical potential that efficient repression of this signaling might provide promising therapeutic choices in managing various types of cancers.Up to date, many therapies targeting Wnt/β-catenin signaling in cancers have been developed, which is assumed to endow clinicians with new opportunities of developing more satisfactory and precise remedies for cancer patients with aberrant Wnt/β-catenin signaling. | Fanyuan Yu Changhao Yu Feifei Li Yanqin Zuo Yitian Wang Lin Yao Chenzhou Wu Chenglin Wang Ling Ye | 2021 | Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2021,6,9: | 8
Observations favor the crossing of phantom divide lines显示文摘Using three different parameterized dark energy models, we reconstruct the properties of dark energy from the latest 397 Sne Ia, CMB and BAO with the present matter density, Ωm0, given prior. We find that, when Ωm0 is not small, for example, Ωm0 = 0.28 or 0.32, an evolving dark energy with a crossing of phantom divide line is favored and this conclusion seems to be model independent. We also find that the evolving properties of dark energy become more and more evident with the increase of Ωm0 given prior. | HUANG TieTie1,2,3, WU PuXun2,3 & YU HongWei2,3 1Department of Physics, Xiangnan College, Chenzhou 423000, China 2Department of Physics and Institute of Physics, Hunan Normal University, Changsha 410081, China 3Key Laboratory of Low Dimensional Quantum Structures and Quantum Control of Ministry of Education, Hunan Normal University, Changsha 410081, China | 2010 | Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2010,53,3: | 6
Association between TRAIL expression on peripheral blood lymphocytes and liver damage in chronic hepatitis B显示文摘AIM: To explore a novel mechanism for tumor necrosis factorrelated apoptosis-inducing ligand (TRAIL), upregulation of CD4+ and CD8+T lymphocytes participating in the pathophysiological process of chronic hepatitis B (CHB).METHODS: The levels of serum soluble TRAIL (sTRAIL),serum IFN-γ and membrane-bound TRAIL expression on peripheral leucocytes from 58 CHB patients were examined ELISA and flow cytometry respectively. The levels of TRAIL were compared with the baseline levels of 17 healthy controls, and correlation analysis was performed between ALT, TBIL, PT, morphological change in hepatic tissues, and serum IFN-γ.RESULTS: The results showed that TRAIL levels on membranes of CD4+, CD8+ T cells in CHB patients were much higher than those in healthy controls (P<0.001),and were correlated with serum TBIL (r = 0.354, P = 0.008for CD4+ and r = 0.522, P = 0.000 for CD8+, respectively),ALT (r = 0.393, P = 0.003 for CD8+), PT (r = 0.385,P = 0.004 for CD8+) and serum IFN-γ level (r = 0.302,P = 0.011 for CD4+ and r= 0.307, P = 0.009 for CD8+).On the contrary to membrane-bound TRAIL expression, serum level of sTRAIL was not correlated with that of TBIL and PT, though it was higher than that of the normal population and was positively correlated with serum HBeAg expression (r = 0.695, P = 0.001).CONCLUSION: The expression level of TRAIL on the membrane of lymphocytes was upregulated and associated with the liver injury in CHB patients. These findings suggest that upregulation of TRAIL expression may be induced by virus antigen and inflammatory cytokine IFN-γ. | Gong-YingChen Jian-QinHe Guo-CaiLu Ming-WeiLi Chen-HuaiXu Wei-WeiFan ChenZhou ZhiChen | 2005 | World Journal of Gastroenterology2005,11,26: | 6
Downregulation of ceramide synthase 1 promotes oral cancer through endoplasmic reticulum stress显示文摘C18 ceramide plays an important role in the occurrence and development of oral squamous cell carcinoma. However, the function of ceramide synthase 1,a key enzyme in C18 ceramide synthesis,in oral squamous cell carcinoma is still unclear. The aim of our study was to investigate the relationship between ceramide synthase 1 and oral cancer. In this study,we found that the expression of ceramide synthase 1 was downregulated in oral cancer tissues and cell lines. In a mouse oral squamous cell carcinoma model induced by 4-nitroquinolin-1-oxide,ceramide synthase 1 knockout was associated with the severity of oral malignant transformation.Immunohistochemical studies showed significant upregulation of PCNA,MMP2,MMP9,and BCL2 expression and downregulation of BAX expression in the pathological hyperplastic area.In addition, ceramide synthase 1 knockdown promoted cell proliferation, migration, and invasion in vitro.Overexpression of CERS1 obtained the opposite effect.Ceramide synthase 1 knockdown caused endoplasmic reticulum stress and induced the VEGFA upregulation.Activating transcription factor 4 is responsible for ceramide synthase 1 knockdown caused VEGFA transcriptional upregulation. In addition, mild endoplasmic reticulum stress caused by ceramide synthase 1 knockdown could induce cisplatin resistance.Taken together, our study suggests that ceramide synthase 1 is downregulated in oral cancer and promotes the aggressiveness of oral squamous cell carcinoma and chemotherapeutic drug resistance. | Wen Chen Chenzhou Wu Yafei Chen Yuhao Guo Ling Qiu Zhe Liu Haibin Sun Siyu Chen Zijian An Zhuoyuan Zhang Yi Li Longjiang Li | 2021 | International Journal of Oral Science2021,13,1: | 3
PERIODIC SOLUTIONS TO FUZZY CELLULAR NEURAL NETWORKS WITH DISTRIBUTED DELAYS显示文摘In this paper, a class of fuzzy cellular neural networks with distributed delays is discussed. By employing fixed point theorem and inequality techniques, some sufficient conditions are obtained to ensure the existence and global exponential stability of periodic solutions to the systems. Without assuming the global Lipschitz conditions of activation functions, our results are novel and reduce the limitation of previous known results. Moreover, an example is given to illustrate the effectiveness of our results. | Xiang Hongjun, Wang Jinhua (Dept. of Math., Xiangnan University, Chenzhou 423000, Hunan) | 2008 | Annals of Differential Equations2008,24,3: | 2
FLUID-BASED SIMULATION APPROACH FOR HIGH VOLUME CONVEYOR TRANSPORTATION SYSTEMS显示文摘High volume conveyor systems in distribution centers have very large footprint and can handle large volumes and hold thousands of items. Traditional discrete-event cell-based approach to simulate such networks becomes computationally challenging. An alternative approach, in which the traffic is represented by segments of fluid flow of different density instead of individual packages, is presented in this paper to address this challenge. The proposed fluid-based simulation approach is developed using a Hybrid Petri Nets framework. The underlying model is a combination of an extension of a Batches Petri Nets (BPN) and a Stochastic Petri Nets (SPN). The extensions are in the inclusion of random elements and relaxation of certain structural constraints. Some adaptations are also made to fit the target system modeling. The approach is presented with an example. | YingWANG ChenZHOU | 2004 | Systems Science and Systems Engineering2004,13,3: | 2
Regularities of formation and lattice distortion of perovs-kite-type compounds显示文摘Based on 489 known perovskite-type complex oxides and a number of other type complex oxides, the pattern recognition-atomic parameter method is adopted to find regularities of the formation and the lattice distortion of the perovskite structure. It has been found that the restriction on Goldschmidt’s t factor constitutes only a necessary but not a sufficient condition to form perovskite-type compounds. A more effective mathematical model, which can precisely sum up the regularities of the formation, the lattice distortion, and the cell constants of known perovskite-type compounds and reliably make corresponding predictions on unknown compounds, can be set up by integrating multiple atomic parameters such as ionic radii, ionic valency, and Basanov’s electronegativity of constituent elements. Based on it, an intelligent database has been implemented. Its prediction accuracy is tested by eight newly discovered perovskite-type compounds such as Eu(Mn0.5 Ni0.5)O3, etc. (they are not included in the database | Chenzhou Ye Jie Yang Lixiu Yao Nianyi Chen | 2002 | Chinese Science Bulletin2002,47,6: | 2

In-vivo optical imaging in head and neck oncology: basic principles, clinical applications and future directions显示文摘Head and neck cancers become a severe threat to human's health nowadays and represent the sixth most common cancer worldwide. Surgery remains the first-line choice for head and neck cancer patients. Limited resectable tissue mass and complicated anatomy structures in the head and neck region put the surgeons in a dilemma between the extensive resection and a better quality of life for the patients. Early diagnosis and treatment of the pre-malignancies, as well as real-time in vivo detection of surgical margins during en bloc resection, could be leveraged to minimize the resection of normal tissues. With the understanding of the head and neck oncology, recent advances in optical hardware and reagents have provided unique opportunities for real-time pre-malignancies and cancer imaging in the clinic or operating room. Optical imaging in the head and neck has been reported using autofluorescence imaging, targeted fluorescence imaging, high-resolution microendoscopy, narrow band imaging and the Raman spectroscopy. In this study, we reviewed the basic theories and clinical applications of optical imaging for the diagnosis and treatment in the field of head and neck oncology with the goal of identifying limitations and facilitating future advancements in the field. | Chenzhou Wu John Gleysteen Nutte Tarn Teraphongphom Yi Li Eben Rosenthal | 2018 | International Journal of Oral Science2018,10,1: | 1

中国现代局部战争理论与美国有限战争理论之比较显示文摘In research concerning transformations in the shape of war after World War Two, the U.S. and Western nations mainly use the concept of limited war while China mainly uses the concept of local war. Some academics both in the U.S. and China viewed these two concepts as the same thing. They obviously contain some common contents. For example, they both highlighted Clausewitz's famous remark that war is an 'continuation of political activity by other means,' in which U.S. theory of limited war maintained that the basic principle of limited war is the 'politics-first principle.' Mao Zedong also considered the Sino-Indian Border self-defense War as 'a political military war or a military political war.' | ChenZhou | 2002 | 中国军事科学2002,15,2: | 0
