| 4 | Effects of different biochars on antibiotic resistance genes during swine manure thermophilic composting显示文摘Elimination of antibiotic resistance genes(ARGs)in animal manure from concentrated animal feeding operations by thermophilic composting has drawn increasing attention.This study investigated the effects of sawdust biochar,corn stover biochar and peanut hull biochar with three spiked levels on ARGs in swine manure during thermophilic composting.Thirteen ARGs corresponding to four classes of antibiotics(tetracyclines,sulfonamides,macrolides and quinolones)were determined in the composting piles.Results indicated that the ten tested composting groups became fully mature after 30-day thermophilic composting process.tetM,tetO and ermB were reduced in all tested groups;tetC and tetG,tetX,sul1,sul2,ermF,qnrD and aac(6’)-Ib were mostly reduced under low level biochar addition but increased under higher level biochar addition;gyrA increased under medium biochar addition and reduced in other groups;oqxB remained comparatively stable throughout the composting process.The addition levels of spiked biochar are more important than types of spiked biochar on the removal of ARGs in the composting pile.The average removal rates of ARGs in the control group,low,medium and high level biochar addition groups were 0.24 logs,0.52-0.72 logs,-0.52-0.18 logs and-0.19-0.21 logs,respectively.In summary,low level biochar addition could enhance the elimination of studied ARGs in swine manure during the composting process,while medium level biochar addition to the composting piles would increase the risk of ARGs’propagation. | Jian Wang Bin Sui Yujun Shen Haibo Meng Lixin Zhao Haibin Zhou Ran Li Jingtao Ding Hongsheng Cheng Xi Zhang | 2018 | International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2018,11,6: | 5 |

| 11 | Investigation of Model Ensemble for Fine-Grained Air Quality Prediction显示文摘Air pollution which is detrimental to people’s health is a wide spread problem across many countries around the world.Developing better air quality prediction approaches is an important research issue.Existing methods often focus on the prediction of air pollution concentrations,which is not as intuitive to the public as the air quality levels.In this paper,near future fine-grained air quality level prediction task is explored with a series of machine learning ensemble methods.Included ensemble methods are majority voting,averaging,weighted averaging and 16 different stacking tactics.To investigate the performances of these ensemble methods,comprehensive comparative experiments are conducted.Included contrast models are classical Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average(ARIMA),popular deep learning model Long Short-Term Memory(LSTM)neural network,and nine of the base-level models such as Support Vector Machine(SVM),Random Forest(RF),Logistic Regression(LR)and several boosting models.Datasets acquired from a coastal city Hong Kong and an inland city Beijing are used to train and validate all the models.Experiments show that performances of the ensemble methods outperform most of the individual models,especially when stacking with probability distributions together with engineered original features,which demonstrates the best performance. | Hong Zheng Yunhui Cheng Haibin Li | 2020 | China Communications2020,17,7: | 1 |

Firstly, this structure must be closed to the reachability operation which means that reachable states from states expressed by this structure can be presented by it too. Secondly, the operation of finding reachable states with this structure should take as less computation as possible. To this end, a constraint system called rectangular zone is formalized, which is a conjunction of fixed amount of inequalities that compare fixed types of linear expressions with two variables to rational numbers. It is proved that the rectangular zone is closed to those reachability operations-intersection, elapsing of time and edge transition. Since the number of inequalities and the linear expression of each inequality is fixed in rectangular zones, so to obtain reachable rectangular zones, it just needs to change the rational numbers to which these linear expressions need to compare. | 17 | The dynamic arms race during the early invasion of woodland strawberry by Botrytis cinerea revealed by dual dense high-resolution RNA-seq analyses显示文摘Necrotrophic pathogens replicate massively upon colonizing plants,causing large-scale wilting and death of plant tissues.Under-standing both mechanisms of pathogen invasion and host response processes prior to symptom appearance and their key regulatory networks is therefore important for defense against pathogen attack.Here,we investigated the mechanisms of interaction between woodland strawberry(Fragaria vesca)leaves and gray mold pathogen(Botrytis cinerea)at 14 infection time points during the first 12 hours of the infection period using a dense,high-resolution time series dual transcriptomic analysis,characterizing the arms race between strawberry F.vesca and B.cinerea before the appearance of localized lesions.Strawberry leaves rapidly initiated strong systemic defenses at the first sign of external stimulation and showed lower levels of transcriptomic change later in the infection process.Unlike the host plants,B.cinerea showed larger-scale transcriptomic changes that persisted throughout the infection process.Weighted gene co-expression network analysis identified highly correlated genes in 32 gene expression modules between B.cinerea and strawberry.Yeast two-hybrid and bimolecular fluorescence complementation assays revealed that the disease response protein FvRLP2 from woodland strawberry interacted with the cell death inducing proteins BcXYG1 and BcPG3 from B.cinerea.Overexpression of FvRLP2 in both strawberry and Arabidopsis inhibited B.cinerea infection,confirming these genes’respective functions.These findings shed light on the arms race process by which B.cinerea invades host plants and strawberry to defend against pathogen infection. | Yibo Bai Haibin Wang Kaikai Zhu Zong-Ming Cheng | 2023 | Horticulture Research2023,10,12: | 0 |
