1Ghost imaging for an axially moving target with an unknown constant speed显示文摘The influence of the axial relative motion between the target and the source on ghost imaging(GI) is investigated.Both the analytical and experimental results show that the transverse resolution of GI is reduced as the deviation of the target’s center position from the optical axis or the axial motion range increases. To overcome the motion blur,we propose a deblurring method based on speckle-resizing and speed retrieval, and we experimentally validate its effectiveness for an axially moving target with an unknown constant speed. 2Performance analysis of ghost imaging lidar in background light environment显示文摘The effect of background light on the imaging quality of three typical ghost imaging(GI) lidar systems(namely narrow pulsed GI lidar, heterodyne GI lidar, and pulse-compression GI lidar via coherent detection) is investigated. By computing the signal-to-noise ratio(SNR) of fluctuation-correlation GI, our analytical results, which are backed up by numerical simulations, demonstrate that pulse-compression GI lidar via coherent detection has the strongest capacity against background light, whereas the reconstruction quality of narrow pulsed GI lidar is the most vulnerable to background light. 3Quantitative trait loci for Fusarium head blight resistance in wheat cultivars Yangmai 158 and Zhengmai 9023显示文摘Fusarium head blight(FHB)is one of the prevalent fungal diseases of wheat worldwide.Exploring new FHB resistance quantitative trait loci(QTL)in adapted wheat cultivars is a critical step for breeding new FHB-resistant cultivars.In this study,we developed a population of 236 F5:7 recombinant inbred lines(RILs)using two popular Chinese wheat cultivars,Yangmai 158 and Zhengmai 9023,with moderate FHB resistance to identify the QTL for FHB type II resistance.This population was evaluated for percentage of symptomatic spikelets per spike(PSS)using single floret injection in repeated greenhouse experiments.Mean PSSs were 33.2%for Yangmai 158 and 30.3%for Zhengmai 9023.A genetic linkage map of 1002 single nucleotide polymorphisms(SNPs)generated by genotyping-by-sequencing(GBS)was constructed for the RIL population.Six QTL were identified for FHB resistance,and three of them were repeatable in the both experiments.Zhengmai 9023 contributed the resistance allele at one repeatable QTL,designated as Qfhb.7D,whereas Yangmai 158 contributed the resistance alleles at the other two repeatable QTL,Qfhb.3AL and Qfhb.2DS.The additional QTL,Qfhb.4AS was significant in the mean PSS,and Qfhb.2DL and Qfhb.7AS were significant in only one experiment.Replacement of each allele individually at the three repeatable QTL significantly changed PSSs.Qfhb.3AL,Qfhb.2DS,and Qfhb.7D explained 8.35%to 9.89%,5.13%to 7.43%,and 6.15%to 9.32%of the phenotypic variations,respectively.The three repeatable QTL contributed by the two parents were additive and stacking the resistance alleles from all the three repeatable QTL showed the highest level of resistance in the current RIL population.Ten SNPs in the QTL regions of Qfhb.3AL,Qfhb.2DS,and Qfhb.7D were converted into KBioscience competitive allele-specific PCR(KASP)assays.One KASP marker for Qfhb.3AL was validated in a panel of wheat cultivars from China.Some of these KASP markers could be useful for marker-assisted selection to stack these QTL.Pingping Zhang Chenjin Guo Zhao Liu Amy Bernardo Hongxiang Maa Hongxiang Ma Peng Jiang Guicheng Song Guihua Bai 2021The Crop Journal2021,9,1:8
4VISUAL REHABILITATION IN LOW VISION PATIENTS WITH AGE-RELATED MACULAR DEGENERATION显示文摘Using optical visual aids, visual rehabilitation was performed in 14 low vision patients(25 eyes) with age-related macular degeneration. With distance aids, visual acuity improvement appeared in 24 eyes(95%) out of the 25 eyes. Twelve eyes(48%) obtained a visual acuity equal to or better than 0.4. 5Pattern Scan Laser Photocoagulator on Retinopathy: an annual clinical application summary显示文摘Purpose:To evaluate the clinical efficacy of Pattern Scan Laser Photocoagulator (PASCAL) by observing the efficacy of PASCAL on retinopathy.Methods:A total of 92 patients with retinopathy (121 eyes) who underwent PASCAL between December 2008 and February 2009 in our center were retrospectively analyzed to evaluate the visual acuity changes and recovery conditions of the patients from baseline to posterior to the treatment.The retinopathy included:diabetic retinopathy,ischemic retinal vein occlusion.(IRVO),central serous chorioretinopathy (CSC),retinal periphlebitis (Eales disease) and retinal degeneration /holes.Results:The patients were subject to a 12-month follow up after PASCAL.The visual acuity findings were stated as below:for diabetic retinopathy.(73 eyes),10 eyes had improved visual acuity;55 eyes were stabilized and 8 eyes progressed;for IRVO (13 eyes),4 eyes showed improvement,6 eyes were stabilized and 3 eyes progressed;for CSC (9 eyes),6 eyes were alleviated and 3 eyes progressed;for retinal periphlebitis (5 eyes),2 eyes had enhanced visual acuity and 3 eyes showed stable visual acuity;for retinal degeneration /holes (21 eyes),5 eyes presented improved visu-al acuity,16 eyes were stabilized and no eye progressed.Indirect ophthalmoscopic reexamination confirmed secured blockage by laser spots and favorable absorption of the retinal edema and newborn capillaries.No obvious leakage was observed during fundus fluorescein angiography and no laser-related ocular adverse effect was reported.Conclusion:PASCAL is accurate,effective and well-tolerated.The duration of short laser pulse falls within the safety range,ensuring the stabilization and improvement in the pa-tient's visual acuity.The parameters,long-term efficacy and complications of PASCAL should be further demonstrated by performing long-term clinical trials with larger sample size.Haiyun Ye Chenjin Jin Xiaoqing Zhong Zhen Tian Wanyi Lin 2011Eye Science2011,26,2:3
6Modelling scenarios of land use change in northern China in the next 50 years显示文摘Modelling scenarios of land use change and their impacts in typical regions are helpful to investigate the mechanism between land use and ecological systems and process the land use allocation under the ecological security. A system dynamics (SD) model with the aim to modelling scenarios of land use change and assessing ecological impact in northern China in the next 50 years is developed here. The accuracy assessment with the historic data from 1990 to 2001 indicated the SD model is robust. After the different 'what-if' scenarios controlled by GDP, population, market, and technology advancement were built, the different scenarios of land use change in northern China from 2000 to 2050 were simulated with their ecological impact assessed. The result suggested that such factors as GDP, population, market and technology have a strong relationship with land use structural change in northern China. 7Single-pixel imaging using physics enhanced deep learning显示文摘Single-pixel imaging(SPI) is a typical computational imaging modality that allows two-and three-dimensional image reconstruction from a one-dimensional bucket signal acquired under structured illumination.It is in particular of interest for imaging under low light conditions and in spectral regions where good cameras are unavailable.However,the resolution of the reconstructed image in SPI is strongly dependent on the number of measurements in the temporal domain.Data-driven deep learning has been proposed for high-quality image reconstruction from a undersampled bucket signal.But the generalization issue prohibits its practical application.Here we propose a physics-enhanced deep learning approach for SPI.By blending a physics-informed layer and a model-driven fine-tuning process,we show that the proposed approach is generalizable for image reconstruction.We implement the proposed method in an in-house SPI system and an outdoor single-pixel LiDAR system,and demonstrate that it outperforms some other widespread SPI algorithms in terms of both robustness and fidelity.The proposed method establishes a bridge between data-driven and model-driven algorithms,allowing one to impose both data and physics priors for inverse problem solvers in computational imaging,ranging from remote sensing to microscopy.FEI WANG CHENGLONG WANG CHENJIN DENG SHENSHENG HAN GUOHAI SITU 2022Photonics Research2022,10,1:2

9Characteristics of novel Ti-10Mo-xCu alloy by powder metallurgy for potential biomedical implant applications显示文摘When biomaterials are implanted in the human body,the surfaces of the implants become favorable sites for microbial adhesion and biofilm formation,causing peri-implant infection which frequently results in the failure of prosthetics and revision surgery.Ti-Mo alloy is one of the commonly used implant materials for load-bearing bone replacement,and the prevention of infection of Ti-Mo implants is therefore crucial.In this study,bacterial inhibitory copper(Cu)was added to Ti-Mo matrix to develop a novel Ti-Mo-Cu alloy with bacterial inhibitory property.The effects of Cu content on microstructure,tensile properties,cytocompatibility,and bacterial inhibitory ability of Ti-Mo-Cu alloy were systematically investigated.Results revealed that Ti-10Mo-1Cu alloy consisted ofαandβphases,while there were a few Ti2Cu intermetallic compounds existed for Ti-10Mo-3Cu and Ti-10Mo-5Cu alloys,in addition toαandβphases.The tensile strength of Ti-10Mo-xCu alloy increased with Cu content while elongation decreased.Ti-10Mo-3Cu alloy exhibited an optimal tensile strength of 1098.1 MPa and elongation of 5.2%.Cytocompatibility study indicated that none of the Ti-10Mo-xCu alloys had a negative effect on MC3T3-E1 cell proliferation.Bacterial inhibitory rates against S.aureus and E.coli increased with the increase in Cu content of Ti-10Mo-xCu alloy,within the ranges of 20-60%and 15-50%,respectively.Taken together,this study suggests that Ti-10Mo-3Cu alloy with high strength,acceptable elongation,excellent cytocompatibility,and the bacterial inhibitory property is a promising candidate for biomedical implant applications.Wei Xu Chenjin Hou Yuxuan Mao Lei Yang Maryam Tamaddon Jianliang Zhang Xuanhui Qu Chaozong Liu Bo Su Xin Lu 2020Bioactive Materials2020,5,3:2
10Mineralogy of smectites in the surface sediments from the East Pacific and its significance显示文摘XRD, TEM, SEM and EDS are employed to analyze smectites in the clay fraction of the surface sediments from the East Pacific. It is shown from the XRD results that the clay fraction consists of about 20% smectites.Three types of smectites are identified, Fe-rich (Type Ⅰ), Fe,Mg-rich (Type Ⅱ) and Na,Ca smectite (Type Ⅲ), and most of them are not well-crystallized. Type Ⅰ is widely distributed in sediments, showing honeycomblike in the SEM, and aggregated or dispersive hairlike, or cloudy assemblage with a bit curl near its edge in the TEM. This type is considered to be typomorphic type of authigenic smectite in the East Pacific. Type Ⅱ is similar to Type Ⅰ in micromorphology in the TEM, showing a transition micronite, while Type Ⅲ is tabletlike in the TEM with an unclear edge. Type Ⅰ may be altered from voleanics and some of them even precipitated from the low subthermal water. Type Ⅱ could also be formed in the ocean floor, while Type Ⅲ comes from dry and distant continental area. 13SOLUTION CHEMISTRY OF SALT TYPE MINERAL FLOTATION显示文摘Solution chemical equilibria involving flotation agents(hereafter llotagents),minerals and solution play a crucial role in determining the behavior of complex flotation systems.Salt-type minerals such as calcite,apatite etc are sparingly soluble in aqueous solution and form dissolved mineral species in bulk solution.It has been found that such dissolved species interact with the minerals,and often lead to surface conversion of the minerals.In addition,they can interact with various llotagents and lead to surface or bulk precipitation and loss of selectivity in the flotation.Relevant solution equilibria of these salt-type minerals and their interactions with conventional and structurally modified reagents are discussed.Better selectivity in their flotation can be achieved by controlling such interactions and manipulating the solution chemical equilibria.Xiao Liping Chenjin 1992Transactions of Nonferrous Metals Society of China1992,2,3:1

18Optically Active Chiral Auxiliary Benzyloxyphenylglycinol for Preparation of Oxazolidine and Its Derivatives显示文摘To investigate the recovery of amino alcohols as chiral auxiliaries, optically active p-benzyloxyphenylglycinol and its corresponding oxazolidine of 1-naphthylcarboxaldehyde were prepared. Grignard additions to the oxazolidine followed by electrophilic quench and acidic hydrolysis afforded an aldehyde(compound 8)(later it was reduced to an alcohol, compound 9) in an excellent enantiomeric excess and a good recovery of the chiral amino alcohol. 20A Study on the Compliance of the Patients with Ocular Fundus Diseases显示文摘Purpose: To investigate the compliance of the patients with ocular fundus diseases with recommendation for follow-up examination after laser treatment, and the underlying reasons for non-compliance.Methods: 53 patients with ocular fundus disease were asked to fill in a questionnaire which includes the socio-demographic characteristics, fear of the fundus disease, conception of the laser treatment and the motivation for staying healthy. Variables were compared for the compliers group and the non-compliers group by chi-square test. Result; Of the 53 subjects, 35 were classified as non-compliers and 18 were classified as compliers. There was no statistically significant difference between the two groups on all selected socio-demographic factors, conception of the laser treatment and the motivation for staying healthy. Significant difference was found between the two groups on two of those items concerning the fear of the diseases (P<0. 05).
