1Static coarsening behaviour of lamellar microstructure in selective laser melted Ti–6Al–4V显示文摘Static coarsening mechanism of selective laser melted(SLMed) Ti–6Al–4V with a lamellar microstructure was established at temperatures from 700℃ to 950℃. Microstructure evolution revealed that high heat treatment temperature facilitated martensite decomposition and promoted lamellae growth. At each temperature, the growth rate decreased with increasing holding time. The static coarsening behaviour of SLMed Ti–6Al–4V can be interpreted by Lifshitz, Slyozov, and Wagner(LSW) theory. The coarsening coefficient were 0.33, 0.33–0.4, 0.4–0.5 for 700–800℃, 900℃ and 950℃, respectively. 2Inhibition of furin by bone targeting superparamagnetic iron oxide nanoparticles alleviated breast cancer bone metastasis显示文摘Breast cancer bone metastasis poses significant challenge for therapeutic strategies.Inside the metastatic environment,osteoclasts and tumor cells interact synergistically to promote cancer progression.In this study,the proprotein convertase furin is targeted due to its critical roles in both tumor cell invasion and osteoclast function.Importantly,the furin inhibitor is specifically delivered by bone targeting superparamagnetic iron oxide(SPIO)nanoparticles.Our in vitro and in vivo data demonstrate that this system can effectively inhibit both osteoclastic bone resorption and breast cancer invastion,leading to alleviated osteolysis.Therefore,the bone targeting&furin inhibition nanoparticle system is a promising therapeutic and diagnostic strategy for breast cancer bone metastasis.Yichuan Pang Li Su Yao Fu Fan Jia Chenxi Zhang Xiankun Cao Wenxin He Xueqian Kong Jiake Xu Jie Zhao An Qin 2021Bioactive Materials2021,6,3:2
3Effects of zinc on χ-Fe_(5)C_(2) for carbon dioxide hydrogenation to olefins:Insights from experimental and density function theory calculations显示文摘Production of light olefins from CO_(2), the primary greenhouse gases, is of great importance to mitigate the adverse effects of CO_(2) emission on environment and to supply the value-added products from nonpetroleum resource. However, development of robust catalyst with controllable selectivity and stability remains a challenge. Herein, we report that Zn-promoted Fe catalyst can boost the stable and selective production of light olefins from CO_(2). Specifically, the Zn-promoted Fe exhibits a highly stable activity and olefin selectivity over 200 h time-on-stream compared to the unpromoted Fe catalyst, primarily owing to the preservation of active χ-Fe_(5)C_(2) phase. Structural characterizations of the spent catalysts suggest that Zn substantially regulates the content of iron carbide on the surface and suppresses the reoxidation of bulk iron carbide during the reaction. DFT calculations confirm that adsorption of surface carbon atoms and graphene-like carbonaceous species are not thermochemically favored on Zn-promoted Fe catalyst. Carbon deposition by CAC coupling reactions of two surface carbon atoms and dehydrogenation of CH intermediate are also inhibited. Furthermore, the effects of Zn on antioxidation of iron carbide were also investigated. 4A Low Reorganization Energy and Two-dimensional Acceptor with Four End Units for Organic Solar Cells with Low E_(loss)显示文摘A novel two-dimensional A-D-A acceptor named as CH8 with four electron-withdrawing end units has been successfully designed and synthesized.The enlarged conjugation in two directions renders CH8 exhibit an extremely low electron reorganization energy of 98 meV,which makes CH8 a potential candidate for outstanding organic semiconductor material.When blended with PM6,a considerate power conversion efficiency of 9.37%along with a high open-circuit voltage(V_(oc))0.889 V and low energy loss(E_(loss))below 0.6 eV is achieved.These results indicate that the two-dimensional A-D-A molecule with four electron-withdrawing end units is an effective molecular design strategy to achieve lower voltage loss and also possible high performance for organic photovoltaics if ideal morphology could be achieved.Hongbin Chen Xiangjian Cao Xiaoyun Xu Chenxi Li Xiangjian Wan Zhaoyang Yao Yongsheng Chen 2022Chinese Journal of Polymer Science2022,40,8:1
5Targeted inhibition of osteoclastogenesis reveals the pathogenesis and therapeutics of bone loss under sympathetic neurostress显示文摘Sympathetic cues via the adrenergic signaling critically regulate bone homeostasis and contribute to neurostress-induced bone loss,but the mechanisms and therapeutics remain incompletely elucidated.Here,we reveal an osteoclastogenesis-centered functionally important osteopenic pathogenesis under sympatho-adrenergic activation with characterized micro RNA response and efficient therapeutics.We discovered that osteoclastic mi R-21 was tightly regulated by sympatho-adrenergic cues downstream theβ2-adrenergic receptor(β2AR)signaling,critically modulated osteoclastogenesis in vivo by inhibiting programmed cell death 4(Pdcd4),and mediated detrimental effects of both isoproterenol(ISO)and chronic variable stress(CVS)on bone.Intriguingly,without affecting osteoblastic bone formation,bone protection against ISO and CVS was sufficiently achieved by a(D-Asp8)-lipid nanoparticle-mediated targeted inhibition of osteoclastic mi R-21 or by clinically relevant drugs to suppress osteoclastogenesis.Collectively,these results unravel a previously underdetermined molecular and functional paradigm that osteoclastogenesis crucially contributes to sympatho-adrenergic regulation of bone and establish multiple targeted therapeutic strategies to counteract osteopenias under stresses.Bingdong Sui Jin Liu Chenxi Zheng Lei Dang Ji Chen Yuan Cao Kaichao Zhang Lu Liu Minyan Dang Liqiang Zhang Nan Chen Tao He Kun Xuan Fang Jin Ge Zhang Yan Jin Chenghu Hu 2022International Journal of Oral Science2022,14,4:1

9Upregulation of E-cadherin by the combination of methionine restriction and HDAC2 intervention for inhibiting gastric carcinoma metastasis显示文摘Invasion and metastasis are the leading causes of death in individuals with malignant tumors,including gastric cancer.In this study,we aim to explore the effect and related mechanisms of methionine restriction(MR)on gastric carcinoma metastasis.In the MR cell model,gastric carcinoma cells are cultured in the MR medium,and in the animal model,BALB/c nude rodents are administered with a methionine-free diet after receiving injections of MKN45 cells into the caudal vein.Transwell assay is used to detect cell invasion and migration.Chromatin im-munoprecipitation is performed to investigate the levels of H3K9me2,H3K27Ac,and H3K27me3 in the E-cadherin promoter.The results show that MR inhibits gastric carcinoma cell migration,invasion,and lung metastasis.MR increases E-cadherin while reducing the H3K27me3 level in the E-cadherin promoter.E-cadherin expression in gastric carcinoma cells is adversely regulated by HDAC2.Overexpressing HDAC2 reduces the H3K27Ac level in the E-cadherin promoter,while interfering with HDAC2 increases the H3K27Ac level.HDAC2 interference under MR conditions further upregulates E-cadherin expression and inhibits gastric carcinoma cell migration,invasion,and lung metastasis.MR combined with HDAc2 interference promotes E-cadherin expression by mediating the me-thylation and acetylation of E-cadherin,thus inhibiting the invasion,migration,and lung metastasis of gastric carcinoma cells.Our study provides a new theoretical basis for the inhibitory effect of MR on gastric cancer.Yifan Li Chenxi Liu Lin Xin Chuan Liu Jiaqing Cao Zhenqi Yue Jie Sheng Yiwu Yuan Qi Zhou Zhiyang Liu 2024Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2024,56,1:0
10A Predictive Instrument for Sensitive and Expedited Measurement of Ultra-Barrier Permeation显示文摘The reliable operation of flexible display devices poses a significant engineering challenge regarding the metrology of high barriers against water vapor.No reliable results have been reported in the range of 10–6 g∙(m^(2)∙d)1,and there is no standard ultra-barrier for calibration.To detect trace amount of water vapor permeation through an ultra-barrier with extremely high sensitivity and a greatly reduced test period,a predictive instrument was developed by integrating permeation models into high-sensitivity mass spectrometry measurement based on dynamic accumulation,detection,and evacuation of the permeant.Detection reliability was ensured by means of calibration using a standard polymer sample.After calibration,the lower detection limit for water vapor permeation is in the range of 10–7 g∙(m^(2)∙d)1,which satisfies the ultra-barrier requirement.Predictive permeation models were developed and evaluated using experimental data so that the steady-state permeation rate can be forecasted from non-steady-state results,thus enabling effective measurement of ultra-barrier permeation within a significantly shorter test period.Jianfeng Wanyan Kun Cao Zhiping Chen Yun Li Chenxi Liu Runqing Wu Xiao-Dong Zhang Rong Chen 2021Engineering2021,7,10:0
11Anion engineering of hierarchical Co-A(A=O,Se,P) hexagrams for efficient electrocatalytic oxygen evolution reaction显示文摘Water electrolysis is considered to be an effective and promising technology to make high-purity H_(2),however,the relationship between anion species and catalytic performance of electrocatalysts is still not completely clear.Herein,we report an anion engineering strategy to tune electrocatalytic water oxidation activity for Co-based materials.Novel hierarchical Co-based oxide/selenide/phosphide(Co-A,A = O,Se,P)hexagrams have been chosen as model materials.Electrochemical results and theoretical calculations reveal that the electron configuration,the electrical conductivity,and the oxidation potential of Co element in Co-A hexagrams could be moderated by the substitution of P atoms,which leads to the superior OER performance.Particularly,Co-P hexagram displays a low overpotential(η = 269 mV) at j = 10 mA/cm^(2) for the oxygen evolution reaction(OER) compared to Co-O hexagram(η = 399 m V) and Co-Se hexagram(η = 347 mV).This work is of great importance in understanding coordination atoms(O,Se and P)induced electrocatalytic properties of hierarchical Co-based materials.Zuozhong Liang Chenxi Yang Wei Zhang Haoquan Zheng Rui Cao 2021Chinese Chemical Letters2021,32,10:0
12Prediction and driving factors of forest fire occurrence in Jilin Province,China显示文摘Forest fires are natural disasters that can occur suddenly and can be very damaging,burning thousands of square kilometers.Prevention is better than suppression and prediction models of forest fire occurrence have developed from the logistic regression model,the geographical weighted logistic regression model,the Lasso regression model,the random forest model,and the support vector machine model based on historical forest fire data from 2000 to 2019 in Jilin Province.The models,along with a distribution map are presented in this paper to provide a theoretical basis for forest fire management in this area.Existing studies show that the prediction accuracies of the two machine learning models are higher than those of the three generalized linear regression models.The accuracies of the random forest model,the support vector machine model,geographical weighted logistic regression model,the Lasso regression model,and logistic model were 88.7%,87.7%,86.0%,85.0%and 84.6%,respectively.Weather is the main factor affecting forest fires,while the impacts of topography factors,human and social-economic factors on fire occurrence were similar.Bo Gao Yanlong Shan Xiangyu Liu Sainan Yin Bo Yu Chenxi Cui Lili Cao 2024Journal of Forestry Research2024,35,1:0

14Optimization of sensor deployment sequences for hazardous gas leakage monitoring and source term estimation显示文摘Nowadays, chemical safety has attracted considerable attention, and chemical gas leakage monitoring and source term estimation(STE) have become hot spots. However, few studies have focused on sensor layouts in scenarios with multiple potential leakage sources and wind conditions, and studies on the risk information(RI) detection and prioritization order of sensors have not been performed. In this work, the monitoring area of a chemical factory is divided into multiple rectangles with a uniform mesh. The RI value of each grid node is calculated on the basis of the occurrence probability and normalized concentrations of each leakage scenario. A high RI value indicates that a sensor at a grid node has a high chance of detecting gas concentrations in different leakage scenarios. This situation is beneficial for leakage monitoring and STE. The methods of similarity redundancy detection and the maximization of sensor RI detection are applied to determine the sequence of sensor locations. This study reveals that the RI detection of the optimal sensor layout with eight sensors exceeds that of the typical layout with 12 sensors. In addition, STE with the optimized placement sequence of the sensor layout is numerically simulated. The statistical results of each scenario with various numbers of sensors reveal that STE is affected by sensor number and scenarios(leakage locations and winds). In most scenarios, appropriate STE results can be retained under the optimal sensor layout even with four sensors. Eight or more sensors are advised to improve the performance of STE in all scenarios. Moreover, the reliability of the STE results in each scenario can be known in advance with a specific number of sensors. 15Silk Fibroin Nacre显示文摘Producing lightweight,mechanically strong,ductile,and biocompatible materials remains a significant challenge in material engineering due to the conflict between structural and mechanical features.Inspired by the“brick-and-mortar”structure of nacre,a construction with a naturally optimized structure-performance-function relationship,this study developed silk fibroin(SF)nacre as a silk protein-based nacre by integrating ice-templating and thermoplastic molding techniques.SF nacres are similar to natural nacre in microstructure,and their strength and toughness are even superior to natural nacres.These mechani-cal properties permit machining by extreme processing techniques,such as ion beam lithography.Furthermore,SF nacre can be used to modulate the polarization of laser beams and generate bright structural colors.Biocompatibility,mechanical robustness,good processability,and tunable coloration allow SF nacres to be used as a plastic replacement for structural engineering and biomedical use,showing promising advancement of such implantable devices towards clinical translation.Chenxi Zhao Yawen Liu Zhuochen Lv Leitao Cao Jing Ren Zhengzhong Shao Shengjie Ling 2022Advanced Fiber Materials2022,4,5:0
