1A Transcriptional Network Promotes Anthocyanin Biosynthesis in Tomato Flesh显示文摘Dietary anthocyanins are important health-promoting antioxidants that make a major contribution to the quality of fruits. It is intriguing that most tomato cultivars do not produce anthocyanins in fruit. However, the purple tomato variety Indigo Rose, which has the dominant Aft locus combined with the recessive atv locus from wild tomato species, exhibits light-dependent anthocyanin accumulation in the fruit skin. Here, we report that Aft encodes a functional anthocyanin activator named SlAN2-like, while atv encodes a nonfunctional version of the anthocyanin repressor SlMYBATV. The expression of SlAN2-like is responsive to light, and the functional SlAN2-like can activate the expression of both anthocyanin biosynthetic genes and their regulatory genes, suggesting that SlAN2-like acts as a master regulator in the activation of anthocyanin biosynthesis. We further showed that cultivated tomatoes contain nonfunctional alleles of SlAN2-like and therefore fail to produce anthocyanins. Consistently, expression of a functional SlAN2-like gene driven by the fruit-specific promoter in a tomato cultivar led to the activation of the entire anthocyanin biosynthesis pathway and high-level accumulation of anthocyanins in both the peel and flesh. 3Embedding Image Through Generated Intermediate Medium Using Deep Convolutional Generative Adversarial Network显示文摘Deep neural network has proven to be very effective in computer vision fields.Deep convolutional network can learn the most suitable features of certain images without specific measure functions and outperform lots of traditional image processing methods.Generative adversarial network(GAN)is becoming one of the highlights among these deep neural networks.GAN is capable of generating realistic images which are imperceptible to the human vision system so that the generated images can be directly used as intermediate medium for many tasks.One promising application of using GAN generated images would be image concealing which requires the embedded image looks like not being tampered to human vision system and also undetectable to most analyzers.Texture synthesizing has drawn lots of attention in computer vision field and is used for image concealing in steganography and watermark.The traditional methods which use synthesized textures for information hiding mainly select features and mathematic functions by human metrics and usually have a low embedding rate.This paper takes advantage of the generative network and proposes an approach for synthesizing complex texture-like image of arbitrary size using a modified deep convolutional generative adversarial network(DCGAN),and then demonstrates the feasibility of embedding another image inside the generated texture while the difference between the two images is nearly invisible to the human eyes.Chuanlong Li Yumeng Jiang Marta Cheslyar 2018Computers, Materials & Continua2018,,8:5
4A hybrid deep neural network based prediction of 300 MW coalfired boiler combustion operation condition显示文摘In power generation industries,boilers are required to be operated under a range of different conditions to accommodate demands for fuel randomness and energy fluctuation.Reliable prediction of the combustion operation condition is crucial for an in-depth understanding of boiler performance and maintaining high combustion efficiency.However,it is difficult to establish an accurate prediction model based on traditional data-driven methods,which requires prior expert knowledge and a large number of labeled data.To overcome these limitations,a novel prediction method for the combustion operation condition based on flame imaging and a hybrid deep neural network is proposed.The proposed hybrid model is a combination of convolutional sparse autoencoder(CSAE)and least support vector machine(LSSVM),i.e.,CSAE-LSSVM,where the convolutional sparse autoencoder with deep architectures is utilized to extract the essential features of flame image,and then essential features are input into the least support vector machine for operation condition prediction.A comprehensive investigation of optimal hyper-parameter and dropout technique is carried out to improve the performance of the CSAE-LSSVM.The effectiveness of the proposed model is evaluated by 300 MW tangential coal-fired boiler flame images.The prediction accuracy of the proposed hybrid model reaches 98.06%,and its prediction time is 3.06 ms/image.It is observed that the proposed model could present a superior performance in comparison to other existing neural network models.HAN ZheZhe HUANG YiZhi LI Jian ZHANG Biao HOSSAIN Md.Moinul XU ChuanLong 2021Science China(Technological Sciences)2021,64,10:3

6The preventive effect of vaccine prophylaxis on severe respiratory syncytial virus infection:A meta-analysis显示文摘Respiratory syncytial virus(RSV) is the key underlying cause of acute lower respiratory tract infection in infants; however, no licensed vaccine against RSV infection is currently available. This study was undertaken to assess the preventive effect of vaccine on RSV infection. In this metaanalysis, 1,792 published randomized clinical trials of RSV vaccines from Jan 1973 to Sep 2015 were examined. Among thirteen studies that met the inclusion criteria, eleven studies estimated the impact of RSV vaccines and four studies estimated the effect of adjuvants. The odds ratios(ORs) were 0.31(95% CI, 0.15–0.67) and 0.62(95% CI, 0.29–1.34), respectively. We found that RSV subunit vaccines can significantly reduce the incidence of RSV infection and that whether vaccination with adjuvant therapy was an effective strategy still remained to be studied. 7Enabling stable sodium metal cycling by sodiophilic interphase in a polymer electrolyte system显示文摘Enabling highly reversible sodium(Na) metal anodes in a polymer electrolyte(PE) system is critical for realizing next-generation batteries with lower cost,higher energy,and improved safety.However,the uneven Na deposition and high Na/PE interphase resistance lead to poor reversibility and short cycle life of Na metal anodes.To tackle these problems,here a variety of metal nanoparticles(M-np,M=Al,Sn,In or Au) are deposited onto copper(Cu) foils to synthesize binder-free M-np@Cu substrates for Na plating/stripping.Notably,the Au-np@Cu substrate provides abundant preferential nucleation/growth sites,decreasing Na nucleation barrier and thus promoting uniform Na deposition.Accordingly,stable Na metal anodes are achieved with high reversible capacities,long cycle life,and high usage of Na.With the Au-np@Cu/Na anode and PE,the full cell using a commercial bulk sulfur cathode exhibits a reversible capacity of>400 mAh g^(-1) with near-100% Coulombic efficiency over 200 cycles.Xiaofei Hu Edward Matios Yiwen Zhang Chuanlong Wang Jianmin Luo Weiyang Li 2021Journal of Energy Chemistry2021,30,12:2

9Traffic Flow Statistics Method Based on Deep Learning and Multi-Feature Fusion显示文摘Traffic flow statistics have become a particularly important part of intelligent transportation.To solve the problems of low real-time robustness and accuracy in traffic flow statistics.In the DeepSort tracking algorithm,the Kalman filter(KF),which is only suitable for linear problems,is replaced by the extended Kalman filter(EKF),which can effectively solve nonlinear problems and integrate the Histogram of Oriented Gradient(HOG)of the target.The multi-target tracking framework was constructed with YOLO V5 target detection algorithm.An efficient and longrunning Traffic Flow Statistical framework(TFSF)is established based on the tracking framework.Virtual lines are set up to record the movement direction of vehicles to more accurate and detailed statistics of traffic flow.In order to verify the robustness and accuracy of the traffic flow statistical framework,the traffic flow in different scenes of actual road conditions was collected for verification.The experimental validation shows that the accuracy of the traffic statistics framework reaches more than 93%,and the running speed under the detection data set in this paper is 32.7FPS,which can meet the real-time requirements and has a particular significance for the development of intelligent transportation.Liang Mu Hong Zhao Yan Li Xiaotong Liu Junzheng Qiu Chuanlong Sun 2021Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences2021,,11:1

12Determination of optimal dietary selenium levels by full expression of selenoproteins in various tissues of broilers from 22 to 42 d of age显示文摘The current NRC dietary selenium(Se)requirement(0.15 mg/kg)of broilers from 22 to 42 d of age is primarily based on a previous study reported in 1986,which might not be applicable to modern classes of rapidly growing broilers.The present experiment was conducted to determine the optimal dietary Se level for meeting metabolic and functional Se requirements of broilers fed a corn-soybean meal diet from 22 to 42 d of age.A total of 336 Arbor Acres male broilers at 22 d old were randomly assigned to 1 of 6 treatments with 7 replicates and fed a basal corn-soybean meal diet(control,containing 0.014 mg Se/kg)and the basal diet supplemented with 0.10,0.20,0.30,0.40,or 0.50 mg Se/kg from Na_(2)SeO_(3) for 21 d.The results showed that the Se concentrations in plasma,liver,kidney,pancreas,breast and thigh muscles,the activity of glutathione peroxidase(GPX)in plasma,liver and kidney,the mRNA expression levels of Gpx4,selenoprotein(Seleno)h and Selenou in liver,Selenop and Selenoh in kidney,and the protein expression levels of GPX4 in the liver and kidney of broilers were affected(P<0.05)by supplemental Se level,and increased quadratically(P<0.05)with the increase of supplemental Se level.The estimates of optimal dietary Se levels were 0.10 to 0.49 mg/kg based on the fitted broken-line or asymptotic models(P<0.0001)of the above Se concentration indices,and 0.08 to 0.37 mg/kg based on the fitted brokenline,quadratic or asymptotic models(P<0.007)of the above selenoprotein expression indices.These results indicate that the optimal dietary Se levels would be 0.49 mg/kg to support the maximum Se concentrations and 0.37 mg/kg to support the full expression of selenoproteins in plasma and various tissues of broilers fed a corn-soybean meal diet from 22 to 42 d of age.Chuanlong Wang Lisai Wang Liyang Zhang Lin Lu Tao Liu Sufen Li Xugang Luo Xiudong Liao 2022Animal Nutrition2022,,1:1

15Mediator complex subunit MED25 physically interacts with DST to regulate spikelet number in rice显示文摘Grain number is a flexible trait and contributes significantly to grain yield.In rice,the zinc finger transcription factor DROUGHT AND SALT TOLERANCE(DST)controls grain number by directly regulating cytokinin oxidase!dehydrogenase 2(OsCKX2)expression.Although specific upstream regulators of the DST-OsCKX2 module have been identified,the mechanism employed by DST to regulate the expression of OsCKX2 remains unclear.Here,we demonstrate that DST-interacting protein 1(DIP1),known as Mediator subunit OsMED25,acts as an interacting coactivator of DST.Phenotypic analyses revealed that OsMED25-RNAi and the osmed25 mutant plants exhibited enlarged panicles,with enhanced branching and spikelet number,similar to the dst mutant.Genetic analysis indicated that OsMED25 acts in the same pathway as the DST-OsCKX2 module to regulate spikelet number per panicle.Further biochemical analysis showed that OsMED25 physically interacts with DST at the promoter region of OsCKX2,and then recruits RNA polymerase II(Pol II)to activate OsCKX2 transcription.Thus,OsMED25 was involved in the communication between DST and Pol II general transcriptional machinery to regulate spikelet number.In general,our findings reveal a novel function of OsMED25 in DST-OsCKX2 modulated transcriptional regulation,thus enhancing our un derstanding of the regulatory mechanism underlying DST-OsCKX2-mediated spikelet number.Lihao Lin Minmin Du Shuyu Li Chuanlong Sun Fangming Wu Lei Deng Qian Chen Chuanyou Li 2022Journal of Integrative Plant Biology2022,64,4:1

18Geochemistry, zircon U–Pb geochronology, and Hf isotopes of S-type granite in the Baoshan block, constraints on the age and evolution of the Proto-Tethys显示文摘Geochemistry, zircon U–Pb geochronology, and Hf isotope data for the Early Paleozoic granites in the Baoshan Block reveal the Early Paleozoic tectonic evolution of the Proto-Tethys. The samples are high-K, calcalkaline, strongly peraluminous rocks with A/CNK values of 1.37–1.46, are enriched in SiO2, K2O, and Rb, and are depleted in Nb, P, Ti, Eu, and heavy rare earth elements,which indicates the crystallization fractionation of the granitic magma. Zircon U–Pb dating indicates that they formed in ca. 480 Ma. The Nansa granites have εHf(t) values ranging from-16.04 to 4.36 with corresponding TC DMages of 2.10–0.81 Ga, which suggests the magmas derived from the partial melting of ancient metasedimentary with minor involvement of mantle-derived components. A synthesis of data for the Early Paleozoic igneous rocks in the Baoshan block and adjacent(Tengchong,Qiangtang, Sibumasu, Himalaya, etc.) blocks indicates that these blocks were all aligned along the proto-Tethyan margin of East Gondwana in the Early Paleozoic. The Early Paleozoic S-type granites from Nansa were generated in a high-temperature and low-pressure(HTLP) extensional tectonic setting, which resulted from Andean-type orogeny instead of the final assembly of Gondwana or crustal extension in a non-arc environment. 19Recoloring tomato fruit by CRISPR/Cas9-mediated multiplex gene editing显示文摘Fruit color is an important horticultural trait,which greatly affects consumer preferences.In tomato,fruit color is determined by the accumulation of different pigments,such as carotenoids in the pericarp and f lavonoids in the peel,along with the degradation of chlorophyll during fruit ripening.Since fruit color is a multigenic trait,it takes years to introgress all color-related genes in a single genetic background via traditional crossbreeding,and the avoidance of linkage drag during this process is difficult.Here,we proposed a rapid breeding strategy to generate tomato lines with different colored fruits from red-fruited materials by CRISPR/Cas9-mediated multiplex gene editing of three fruit color-related genes(PSY1,MYB12,and SGR1).Using this strategy,the red-fruited cultivar‘Ailsa Craig’has been engineered to a series of tomato genotypes with different fruit colors,including yellow,brown,pink,light-yellow,pink-brown,yellow-green,and light green.Compared with traditional crossbreeding,this strategy requires less time and can obtain transgene-free plants with different colored fruits in less than 1 year.Most importantly,it does not alter other important agronomic traits,like yield and fruit quality.Our strategy has great practical potential for tomato breeding and serves as a reference for improving multigene-controlled traits of horticultural crops.Tianxia Yang Muhammad Ali Lihao Lin Ping Li Hongju He Qiang Zhu Chuanlong Sun Ning Wu Xiaofei Zhang Tingting Huang Chang-Bao Li Chuanyou Li Lei Deng 2023Horticulture Research2023,10,1:0
20A Rasterized Lightning Disaster Risk Method for Imbalanced Sets Using Neural显示文摘Over the past 10 years,lightning disaster has caused a large number of casualties and considerable economic loss worldwide.Lightning poses a huge threat to various industries.In an attempt to reduce the risk of lightning-caused disaster,many scholars have carried out in-depth research on lightning.However,these studies focus primarily on the lightning itself and other meteorological elements are ignored.In addition,the methods for assessing the risk of lightning disaster fail to give detailed attention to regional features(lightning disaster risk).This paper proposes a grid-based risk assessment method based on data from multiple sources.First,this paper considers the impact of lightning,the population density,the economy,and geographical environment data on the occurrence of lightning disasters;Second,this paper solves the problem of imbalanced lightning disaster data in geographic grid samples based on the K-means clustering algorithm;Third,the method calculates the feature of lightning disaster in each small field with the help of neural network structure,and the calculation results are then visually reflected in a zoning map by the Jenks natural breaks algorithm.The experimental results show that our method can solve the problem of imbalanced lightning disaster data,and offer 81%accuracy in lightning disaster risk assessment.Yan Zhang Jin Han Chengsheng Yuan Shuo Yang Chuanlong Li Xingming Sun 2021Computers, Materials & Continua2021,,1:0
