| 2 | PD-L1 is a direct target of cancer-FOXP3 in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma(PDAC),and combined immunotherapy with antibodies against PD-L1 and CCL5 is effective in the treatment of PDAC显示文摘High expression of PD-L1 marks the poor prognosis of pancreatic ductal adenocarcinomas(PDAC).However,the regulatory mechanism of PD-L1 remains elusive.We recently reported that cancer Forkhead box protein 3(Cancer-FOXP3 or C-FOXP3)promoted immune evasion of PDAC by recruiting Treg cells into PDAC via upregulation of CCL5.In this study,we confirmed that PD-L1 was overexpressed in PDAC samples from two independent cohorts of patients with radical resection.Moreover,C-FOXP3 was colocalized and correlated with the expression of PD-L1 in tumor cells at the mRNA and protein levels,and this finding was confirmed by the The Cancer Genome Atlas(TCGA)database.Chromatin immunoprecipitation(ChIP)revealed that C-FOXP3 directly bound to the promoter region of PD-L1 in pancreatic cancer cells.Furthermore,overexpression of C-FOXP3 activated the luciferase reporter gene under the control of the PD-L1 promoter.However,mutation of the binding motif-a completely reversed the luciferase activity.In addition,C-FOXP3-induced upregulation of PD-L1 effectively inhibited the activity of CD8+T cells.Based on our recent finding that the CCL-5 antibody achieved a better response to PDAC models with high C-FOXP3 levels,we further demonstrated that the PD-L1 antibody strengthened the antitumor effect of CCL-5 blockade in xenograft and orthotopic mouse models with high C-FOXP3 levels.In conclusion,C-FOXP3 directly activates PD-L1 and represents a core transcription factor that mediates the immune escape of PDAC.Combined blockade of PD-L1 and CCL-5 may provide an effective therapy for patients with PDAC that have high C-FOXP3 levels. | Xiuchao Wang Xin Li Xunbin Wei Haiping Jiang Chungen Lan Shengyu Yang Han Wang Yanhui Yang Caijuan Tian Zanmei Xu Jiangyan Zhang Jihui Hao He Ren | 2020 | Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2020,5,1: | 11 |

Currently, POP is a positive and an effective treatment for extraspinal bone lesions in that it can rapidly relieve pain, effectively prevent pathological fractures, and partially inactivate tumors, with few complications. | 4 | Hot corrosion behavior of nanostructured Gd2O3 doped YSZ thermal barrier coating in presence of Na2SO4+V2O5 molten salts显示文摘Nickel-based superalloy DZ125 was first sprayed with a NiCrAlY bond coat and followed with a nanostructured 2 mol% Gd_2O_3-4.5 mol% Y_2 O_3-ZrO_2(2 GdYSZ) topcoat using air plasma spraying(APS). Hot corrosion behavior of the as-sprayed thermal barrier coatings(TBCs) were investigated in the presence of 50 wt%Na_2SO_4 + 50 wt% V_2O_5 as the corrosive molten salt at 900 ℃ for 100 h. The analysis results indicate that Gd doped YVO_4 and m-ZrO_2 crystals were formed as corrosion products due to the reaction of the corrosive salts with stabilizers(Y_2O_3, Gd_2O_3) of zirconia. Cross-section morphology shows that a thin layer called TGO was formed at the bond coat/topcoat interface. After hot corrosion test, the proportion of m-ZrO_2 phase in nanostructured 2GdYSZ coating is lower than that of nano-YSZ coating. | 5 | A new combined criterion to better predict malignant lesions in patients with pancreatic cystic neoplasms显示文摘Objective:Cystic lesions of the pancreas have been increasingly recognized.Some lesions exhibit benign behavior,while others have unequivocal malignant potential.Thus,accurate identification of malignancy in patients diagnosed with pancreatic cystic neoplasms(PCNs)remains a major challenge.The aim of this study was to define a combined criterion to better predict malignant lesions in patients with PCNs.Methods:We retrospectively analyzed 165 patients who underwent resection of PCNs from October 2011 to May 2017.The relationship among malignancy and serum carbohydrate antigen 19-9(CA19-9),preoperative neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio(NLR),and the presence of enhanced solid component on imaging was analyzed.Results:NLR before surgery in patients with malignant PCNs(2.81±2.14)was significantly higher than that in patients diagnosed with pancreatic neuroendocrine tumor(1.90±0.69,P=0.013)or healthy volunteers(1.40±0.48;P<0.001).Serum CA19-9≥39U/m L,NLR>1.976 and presence of enhanced solid component were independent predictors of PCN malignancy.A combined criterion meeting any two or more of the three elements including CA19-9≥39 U/m L,NLR>1.976,and presence of enhanced solid component on computed tomography imaging is an indicator with a high positive predictive value of 80.5%and a high negative predictive value of 87.9%,and thus,represents a highly accurate test(86.1%).Conclusions:The new combined criterion is an effective predictor of tumor malignancy in patients with PCNs. | Chungen Lan Xin Li Xiuchao Wang Jihui Hao He Ren | 2018 | Cancer Biology & Medicine2018,15,1: | 6 |
| 6 | Effect of Gd_2O_3 on the microstructure and thermal properties of nanostructured thermal barrier coatings fabricated by air plasma spraying显示文摘The nanostructured 4–8 mol% Gd_2O_3-4.5 mol% Y_2O_3-ZrO_2(4–8 mol% Gd YSZ) coatings were developed by the atmospheric plasma spraying technique. The microstructure and thermal properties of plasmasprayed 4–8 mol% Gd YSZ coatings were investigated. The experimental results indicate that typical microstructure of the as-sprayed coatings were consisted of melted zones, nano-zones, splats, nano-pores,high-volume spheroidal pores and micro-cracks. The porosity of the 4, 6 and 8 mol% Gd YSZ coatings was about 9.3%, 11.7% and 13.3%, respectively. It was observed that the addition of gadolinia to the nano-YSZ could significantly reduce the thermal conductivity of nano-YSZ. The thermal conductivity of Gd YSZ decreased with increasing Gd_2O_3 addition. | 10 | Comparison of the postoperative pain change and spinal stenosis rate between percutaneous vertebroplasty combined with radiofrequency ablation and with ^(125)I particle implantation in the treatment of metastatic spinal cord compression:A retrospective st显示文摘Background context:Metastatic spinal cord compression(MSCC)seriously affects the survival rate.Objective:The therapeutic effects of two treatment strategies for MSCC:percutaneous vertebroplasty(PVP)combined with radiofrequency ablation(RFA)and PVP combined with^(125)I particle implantation,were compared.Study design:Retrospective study.Patient sample:40 patients with MSCC were divided into two groups:19 cases in the RFA group and 21 cases in the^(125)I group.Method:All patients were accessed to determine the differences in pain,which was evaluated using the visual analog scale(VAS)at 1 week,1 month,and 3 months after the operation,and spinal stenosis rates(SSRs),which were measured at 1 and 3 months after the operation,between the two groups.Results:The VAS scores and SSRs at baseline were comparable between the RFA group and the^(125)I group(7.19±2.07 vs 7.42±1.95,37.7%±11.2%vs 41.1%±11.4%).The VAS scores and SSRs at 1 month and 3 months after the operation were significantly reduced in both groups,compared with those at baseline.The VAS scores and SSRs in the^(125)I group were lower than those in the RFA group at 3 months after the operation(1.09±0.97 vs 1.75±1.06 p=0.048 and 12.3%±6.4%vs 18.1%±10.1%p=0.034),while the VAS scores at1 week after the operation in the RFA group were lower than those in the^(125)I group(4.39±1.34 vs 5.05±1.82 p=0.049).Conclusion:PVP combined with RFA has a slight advantage in relieving pain in the short term,while PVP combined with^(125)I particle implantation may have a better effect in the relieving pain and decreasing the SSRs at 3 months after the operation. | Yu He Shilong Han Chungen Wu Fei Ge Jianbo Wang | 2021 | Journal of Interventional Medicine2021,4,4: | 4 |

| 12 | Vapor phase codeposition of Cr and Si on Nb-base in situ composites by pack cementation process显示文摘In order to identify suitable halide activators and pack compositions for codepositing Cr and Si to form diffusion coatings on Nb-base in situ composites by the pack cementation process, thermochemical calculation was taken to analyze the vapor pressure of halide species generated at high temperatures. NH4Cl, NaF and CrCl3·6H2O were selected as the halide salts. The results of thermochemical calculations suggested that the pack powder mixtures, which contained Cr, Si, halide salts and Al2O3, may be activated by NH4Cl and NaF. According to the thermochemical calculations, the pack powder mixture of 12Cr-6Si-5NH4Cl-77Al2O3 (wt%) activated by NH4Cl was formulated and coating deposition experiments were carried out at 1200 and 1300℃. With adequate control of pack compositions and deposition conditions, it was found that codeposition of Cr and Si could indeed be achieved at these temperatures. The coating has a three-layer structure, of which was mainly composed of Cr2(Nb,X) (X represents Ti and Hf elements), Nb5Si3 and (Nb,Cr)3Si. Then the kinetics of coating growth process affected by temperature was studied. X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, Auger electron spectroscopy and X-ray diffraction were used to analyze the composition and structure of the carbon-implanted layer. The corrosion properties of the untreated and carbon ion-implanted samples were evaluated by potentiodynamic curves and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy, which were carried out in 3.5% NaCl solution. Ion implantation of carbon in the M50NiL bearing steel yielded a distinct decrease of the corrosion current densities and an obvious increase of the polarization resistance. The experimental results indicated that the content of chromium oxide in the passive film increased with carbon implantation and that the intergranular corrosion was suppressed in the carbon-implanted sample. | 15 | Improved photocatalytic activity of nano CuO-incorporated TiO_2 granules prepared by spray drying显示文摘4 wt% CuO–96 wt% TiO2 granules were prepared by a spray drying process. The microstructure and optical property of CuO–TiO2 granules were studied. The results indicate that copper existed in the form of CuO. The spray dried granules possess spherical geometry and smooth surface with grain size in the range of 40–80 μm. CuO–TiO2 has a relatively smaller E g value(2.85 eV) than Ti O2(3.17 eV). The photocatalytic property of CuO–TiO2 granules was investigated by degradation of a model pollutant(the azo dye methyl orange) under the irradiation of the xenon lamp equipped with a band pass fi lter of 365 nm. The CuO–TiO2spray-dried granules degrade about 10% more MO than TiO2spray-dried granules under UV irradiation within the same time. The XPS spectra suggested that Cu2 tand reduced copper species were coexistent in reacted CuO–TiO2 photocatalyst.
