| 1 | Current status of severe fever with thrombocytopenia syndrome in China显示文摘Severe fever with thrombocytopenia syndrome(SFTS) is an emerging infectious disease caused by SFTS virus(SFTSV). SFTSV is associated with a high mortality rate and has been reported in China, South Korea and Japan. SFTSV undergoes rapid changes owing to evolution, gene mutations, and reassortment between different strains of SFTSV. In this review, we summarize the recent cases and general properties of SFTS, focusing on the epidemiology, genetic diversity,clinical features, and diagnostics of SFTSV in China. From 2010 to October 2016, SFTS cases were reported in 23 provinces of China, with increased numbers yearly. Infection and death cases are mainly found in central China, where the Haemaphysalis longicornis ticks are spread. The national average mortality rate of SFTS infection was 5.3%, with higher risk to elder people. The main epidemic period was from May to July, with a peak in May. | 3 | Temperature effect and thermal impact in lithium-ion batteries: A review显示文摘Lithium-ion batteries, with high energy density(up to 705 Wh/L) and power density(up to 10,000 W/L), exhibit high capacity and great working performance. As rechargeable batteries, lithium-ion batteries serve as power sources in various application systems. Temperature, as a critical factor, significantly impacts on the performance of lithium-ion batteries and also limits the application of lithium-ion batteries. Moreover, different temperature conditions result in different adverse effects. Accurate measurement of temperature inside lithiumion batteries and understanding the temperature effects are important for the proper battery management. | 4 | Fission-track-age records of the Mesozoic tectonic-events in the southwest margin of the Ordos Basin, China显示文摘Based on the analysis of apatite and zircon fission track (FT), the FT age distribution and the peck-ages of the Mesozoic tectonic events in the southwest margin of the Ordos Basin (OB) were discussed. (1) The early event mainly occurred at 213-194 Ma with a peck-age of 205 Ma, and corresponded to the tectonic uplift and the mega-clastic deposit in the southwest OB during the Late Triassic. (2) The middle event included at least two episodes. One was at 165-141 Ma with a peck-age of 150 Ma, and the other was at 115-113 Ma with a peck-age of 114 Ma, corresponding to the over-thrusting and the mega- clastic deposits in the southwest OB during the Late Jurassic to the Early Cretaceous. (3) The late event mainly demonstrated the regional uplifting and included at least two episodes. One was at 100-81 Ma with a peck-age of 90 Ma, and the other was at 66-59 Ma with a peck-age of 63 Ma. | 9 | Strain and kinematic vorticity analysis of the Louzidian low-angle ductile shear detachment zone in Chifeng,Inner Mongolia,China显示文摘The Louzidian low-angle ductile shear detachment zone at the south of Chifeng is a SE-dipping, low-angle normal fault system. It is composed mainly of ductile shear zone, ductile-brittle shear zone and brittle fault zone. The ductile shear zone consists of, from bottom to top, mylonitic rocks, protomylonites and mylonites. Finite strain measurement of feldspar strain markers from those rocks using the Rf /φ method shows that strain intensities (Es) of the mylonite at core of the ductile shear zone (Es=0.65-0.96) are higher than those of the mylonitic rocks close to the granite intrusions (Es=0.59-0.62) and of the protomylonites at top of the ductile shear zone (Es= 0.47-0.70), and the strain types of the protomylonites and mylonties are elongate strain and plane-flattening strain, respectively. The kinematic vorticity values (Wk) estimated by the Polar Mohr diagram and the Rigid Grain Net range from 0.81 to 0.90 with an average of 0.85 for the protomylonites, and from 0.53 to 0.80 with 0.66 on average for the mylonites; Wk values of the extensional crenulation cleavage, i.e., C′, estimated by C′ method range from 0.63 to 0.37 with an average of 0.50. The angles between the maximum principal stress and shearing direction determined using the Maximum effective moment criterion evolved from 61° to 69° and to 75°, and finally normal to shearing direction. The results of strain and kinematic vorticity measurements suggest that high strain corresponds to low kinematic vorticity. Kinematic vorticity measurements show that the Louzidian low-angle ductile shear detachment zone is a result of a combination of simple-dominated general shearing at the early stage and pure-dominated general shearing at the late stage. All these, together with isotope geochronology and regional tectonic background, suggest that the Louzidian ductile shear detachment zone resulted from a combination of crust extension and magma intrusion. It is difficult to build the dynamic model of the TQR and the environmental factors have a great influence on it. To solve the problem of control in conversion mode of TQR, this paper carries out the design of the controller based on improved Active Disturbance Rejection Control(ADRC). According to the characteristics of flight in conversion mode, Tracking Differentiator(TD) with explicit model is used to solve the problem of multiple integrals when the system is high-order system. Extended State Observer(ESO) with Radial Basis Function(RBF) neural network is used to estimate and compensate for internal and external uncertainties, and the adaptive sliding mode control in Nonlinear State Error Feedback(NLSEF) is used to improve the response speed of the controller and reduce the parameters which should be tuned. Electronic skins(e-Skins) made by conductive and stretchable materials offer mechanical compliance for fabricating flexible and conformable wearables. Compared to common organic or inorganic conductive materials, gallium-based liquid metals alone own superior conductivity and compliance. Here, we demonstrate a highly conductive and stretchable electronic skin with liquid metal circuits(LMCs) embedded in silicone rubber film, which are functionalized for physiological signals monitoring. Through the designs of serpentine structure, LMCs maintained good electrical conductivity and functionality under over 100% strain. Also, a wearable electrocardiogram(ECG) recording device was fabricated and tested. The device was able to acquire steady signals during real-time measurement of physical activities. | 15 | Effect on platelet aggregation activity: extracts from 31 Traditional Chinese Medicines with the property of activating blood and resolving stasis显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the anti-platelet aggregation effects of extracts from 31 Traditional Chinese Medicines(TCM) with the property of activating blood and resolving stasis in terms of TCM theory.METHODS: The 31 TCMs extracts were prepared using water, 90% ethanol and ethyl acetate., and the effects on anti-platelet aggregation were tested on a platelet aggregation analyzer in vitro with adenosine 5'-diphosphate, bovine thrombin and arachi-donic acid(AA) as aggregation inducers, respectively. | 17 | Arsenic trioxide encapsulated liposomes prepared via copper acetate gradient loading method and its antitumor efficiency显示文摘In this study, arsenic trioxide(ATO) was encapsulated in liposomes via copper acetate(Cu(OAc)2) gradients and high entrapment efficiency of over 80% was obtained. The average particle size and the zeta-potential of the liposomes were detected to be 115.1 ± 29.1 nm and-21.97 ± 0.6 m V, respectively. The TEM images showed rod-like precipitates in the inner aqueous phase, which was supposed be due to the formation of insoluble ATO–Cu complex.The in vitro drug release of ATO–Cu liposomes exhibited a sustained release over 72 h, and the release rates decreased with the increase of the p H of release media. Pharmacokinetic and tissue distribution studies of ATO liposomes showed significantly reduced plasma clearance rate, increased AUC0–12h and T1/2, and improved tumor distribution of As compared to iv administration of ATO solution. The anti-tumor effect of ATO loaded liposomes to S180 tumor-bearing mice was significantly improved with a tumor inhibition rate of 61.2%,meanwhile the toxicity of encapsulated ATO was greatly decreased. For the confident chemical identification of D. odorifera and D. stevensonii, the ethanol-benzene extractives are characterized by multiple metabolomics tools, including Fourier transform infrared(FTIR) spectroscopy, nuclear magnetic resonance(NMR), and gas chromatographymass spectrometry(GC/MS). Conventional FTIR spectroscopy, second derivative infrared(SD-IR)spectroscopy and two-dimensional correlation infrared(2D-IR) spectroscopy are combined to interpret the functional groups of the ethanol-benzene extractives. Fingerprint-like characteristics make FTIR a rapid and accurate method to distinguish D. odorifera from D. stevensonii. Chemical differences of the extractives revealed by FTIR methods can be further confirmed by ~1H NMR and ^(13)C NMR. Meanwhile, the volatile compounds in the extractives can be identified by GC/MS.
