| 1 | On-orbit sleep problems of astronauts and countermeasures显示文摘Sufficient sleep duration and good sleep quality are crucial to ensure normal physical and mental health, cognition and work performance for the common people, as well as astronauts. On-orbit sleep problem is very common among astronauts and has potential detrimental influences on the health of crewmembers and the safety of flight missions. Sleep in space is becoming a new medical research frontier. In this review we summarized on-orbit sleep problems of astronauts and six kinds of causes, and we presented the effects of lack of sleep on performance as well as mental and physical health, then we proposed seven kinds of countermeasures for sleep disturbance in spaceflight, including pharmacologic interventions, light treatment, crew selection and training, Traditional Chinese Medicine and so on. | 2 | Hierarchical assembly of highly efficient visible-light-driven Ag/g-C_(3)N_(4)/kaolinite composite photocatalyst for the degradation of ibuprofen显示文摘A novel Ag/g-C_(3)N_(4)/kaolinite composite photocatalyst was fabricated for the first time through a two-step assembly strategy by employing in situ calcination and a photodeposition process.The synthesized Ag/g-C_(3)N_(4)/kaolinite composite reached a higher degradation rate of ibuprofen(IBP)with a reaction rate constant of 0.0113 min^(-1) at an Ag content of 7% under visible-light irradiation,which was approximately 1.87 times that of the Ag/g-C_(3)N_(4) composite.Based on the physicochemical properties,the enhanced photocatalytic activity was attributed to the stronger adsorption property,wider photoresponse range and more efficient separation and transfer of electron-hole pairs.Furthermore,the incorporation of monodispersed Ag nanoparticles onto the g-C_(3)N_(4)/kaolinite sheets provided more reactive sites for the IBP degradation.In addition,according to the EPR study and trapping experiments,it was demonstrated that holes(h^(+))should be the key reactive species.A possible pathway of IBP degradation was also proposed based on the detected intermediates.Overall,the results of this work may facilitate the design of a novel visible-light-driven photocatalyst with a high efficiency that is derived from a natural mineral for environmental remediation. | Zhiming Sun Xiangwei Zhang Xiongbo Dong Xiaorui Liu Ye Tan Fang Yuan Shuilin Zheng Chunquan Li | 2020 | Journal of Materiomics2020,6,3: | 8 |
| 3 | Microstructure and properties of an Al-Zn-Mg-Cu alloy pre-stretched plate under various ageing conditions显示文摘The microstructures after various ageing treatments and their relation to the strength, fracture toughness, and corrosion behavior of an Al-Zn-Mg-Cu alloy pre-stretched plate were investigated. The results show that retrogression and reaging (RRA) treatment led to a combina- tion of high strength and stress corrosion cracking (SCC) resistance of the alloy. The TEM microstructure of the RRA-treated alloy is a dis- tribution of very fine precipitates in the aluminum matrix grains, similar to that obtained under T6 condition, and the distribution of coarse η MgZn2 precipitates on the grain boundaries similar to that obtained by T7 temper. SEM observations revealed that most of the intergranular fracture characteristics were present on the fracture surface of both the T6 and RRA-treated specimens. | 6 | Fotemustine-based therapy in combination with rituximab as a first-line induction chemotherapy followed by WBRT for newly diagnosed primary central nervous system lymphoma: a prospective phase II trial显示文摘Objective:This study aimed to evaluate the safety,efficacy,and feasibility of the rituximab,fotemustine,pemetrexed,and dexamethasone(R-FPD)regimen followed by whole-brain radiotherapy(WBRT)for patients with primary central nervous system lymphoma(PCNSL).Methods:A prospective,single-center phase II clinical trial was conducted.Patients with PCNSL newly diagnosed at the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University between July 2018 and July 2020 were studied.The R-FPD regimen consisted of rituximab(375 mg/m2 i.v.on D0),fotemustine(100 mg/m2 i.v.on D1),pemetrexed(600 mg/m2 i.v.on D1),and dexamethasone(40 mg i.v.on D1-5).Patients 60 years or younger who showed a complete response(CR)were treated with 23.4 Gy of WBRT after the end of chemotherapy;those older than 60 years with CR were treated with a wait-and-see approach;and those who did not show CR after the 4th cycle of chemotherapy were given salvage WBRT 30 Gy+local tumor field irradiation up to 45 Gy,regardless of age.Results:A total of 30 patients were included.After 2 cycles,the objective response rate(ORR)was 96.5%(28/29,1 CR,27 PR,0 SD,and 1 PD).After 4 cycles,the ORR was 73.1%(19/26,11 CR,8 PR,4 SD,and 3 PD).After WBRT,the ORR was 90.9%(10/11,7 CR,3 PR,and 1 SD).The grade III and IV toxicity responses were mainly leukopenia(20.0%),thrombocytopenia(23.3%),and anemia(10.0%).Conclusions:Fotemustine-based therapy in combination with rituximab chemotherapy followed by WBRT can improve outcomes,providing ORR benefits and favorable tolerability in patients newly diagnosed with PCNSL. | Jingjing Wu Fenghua Gao Wenhua Wang Xudong Zhang Meng Dong Lei Zhang Xin Li Ling Li Zhenchang Sun Xinhua Wang Xiaorui Fu Linan Zhu Mengjie Ding Songtao Niu Zhaoming Li Yu Chang Feifei Nan Jiaqian Yan Hui Yu Xiaolong Wu Zhiyuan Zhou Jieming Zhang Mingzhi Zhang | 2022 | Cancer Biology & Medicine2022,19,7: | 1 |

| 8 | pH-Responsive Reversible DNA Self-assembly Mediated by Zwitterion显示文摘pH-Responsive DNA assembles have drawn growing attentions owing to their great potential in diverse areas.However,pH-responsive motifs are limited to specific DNA sequences and annealing is usually needed for DNA assemblies;therefore,sequence-independent pH-responsive DNA assembly at room temperature is highly desired as a more general way.Here,we propose a reversible pH-responsive DNA assembly strategy at room-temperature using zwitterion,glycine betaine(GB),as charge-regulation molecules.The reversible assembly and disassembly of DNA nanostructures could be achieved by alternatively regulating the acidic and basic environments in the presence of GB,respectively.In an acidic environment,carboxylate group in GB was protonated and GB was positively charged,which facilitated to shield the inherent electrostatic repulsion of DNA strands.Molecular simulation showed that the newly formed carboxyl group in protonated GB could form hydrogen bonds with bases in DNA to promote the assembly of DNA strands.In a basic solution,carboxylate group in GB was deprotonated and GB was neutral,thus inducing the dissociation of DNA assembly. | DONG Yuhang PAN Xiaorui LI Feng YANG Dayong | 2020 | Chemical Research in Chinese Universities2020,36,2: | 1 |

| 10 | Orthogonal Aza-BODIPY–BODIPY dyad as heavy-atom free photosensitizer for photo-initiated antibacterial therapy显示文摘Photodynamic antibacterial therapy shows great potential in bacterial infection and the reactive oxygen species(ROS)production of the photosensitizers is crucial for the therapeutic e®ect.Introducing heavy atoms is a common strategy to enhance photodynamic performance,while dark toxicity can be induced to impede further clinical application.Herein,a novel halogen-free photosensitizer Aza-BODIPY-BODIPY dyad NDB with an orthogonal molecular conguration was synthesized for photodynamic antibacterial therapy.The absorption and emission peaks of NDB photosensitizer in toluene were observed at 703 nm and 744 nm,respectively.The°uorescence(FL)lifetime was measured to be 2.8 ns in toluene.Under 730 nm laser illumination,the ROS generation capability of NDB was 3-fold higher than that of the commercial ICG.After nanoprecipitation,NDB NPs presented the advantages of high photothermal conversion e±ciency(39.1%),good photostability,and excellent biocompatibility.More importantly,in vitro antibacterial assay conrmed that the ROS and the heat generated by NDB NPs could extirpate methicillin-resistant S.aureus e®ectively upon exposure to 730 nm laser,suggesting the potential application of NDB NPs in photo-initiated antibacterial therapy. | Dongliang Yang Liguo Sun Lei Xue Xiaorui Wang Yanling Hu Jinjun Shao Ling Fu Xiaochen Dong | 2022 | Journal of Innovative Optical Health Sciences2022,15,1: | 0 |
