| 2 | Signal Processing and AI-based Assessment of Rehabilitation Exercises for Diastasis Recti Abdominis显示文摘Diastasis Recti Abdominis(DRA)is the separation of abdominal recti muscles which occurs in women during their pregnancy and postpartum time.This is because of the stretching of the linea alba,a fibrous connective tissue on the abdominal wall.The Linea Alba is elastic and retracts back after the delivery of the baby.When this tissue gets overstretched,it loses its elasticity and the gap in the abdominals may not be closed leading to DRA.The motive of this research is to analyze the postpartum rehabilitation for signals from Inertial Measurement Unit(IMU)sensors.The conservative treatment for women who are experiencing DRA is given in the form of physiotherapy.These physiotherapy exercises focus on the recti abdominis muscle to bring back the Linea alba together.It will be a difficult process for the physiotherapist to monitor,whether patients did the exercises correctly or not.If the exercises are not correct,they will not be effective in the reduction of inter-recti distance.This research aims to analyze the effectiveness of IMU signals in classifying the correct and incorrect exercises.It was inferred that the IMU signals are effective in classifying the correct and incorrect exercises with an accuracy of 92%. | R.Karthik R.Menaka P.Ponmathi Daehan Won P.Vinitha Joshy J.G.Aravindan S.Harshavardhan K.V.S.D.Aashish kumar R.Akileshkumar | 2023 | Computer Systems Science & Engineering2023,47,10: | 0 |
| 3 | SAFT-VNDN: A Socially-Aware Forwarding Technique in Vehicular Named Data Detworking显示文摘Vehicular Social Networks(VSNs)is the bridge of social networks and Vehicular Ad-Hoc Networks(VANETs).VSNs are promising as they allow the exchange of various types of contents in large-scale through Vehicle-to-Vehicle(V2V)and Vehicle-to-Infrastructure(V2I)communication protocols.Vehicular Named Data Networking(VNDN)is an auspicious communication paradigm for the challenging VSN environment since it can optimize content dissemination by decoupling contents from their physical locations.However,content dissemination and caching represent crucial challenges in VSNs due to short link lifetime and intermittent connectivity caused by vehicles’high mobility.Our aim with this paper is to improve content delivery and cache hit ratio,as well as decrease the transmission delay between end-users.In this regard,we propose a novel hybrid VNDN-VSN forwarding technique based on social communities,which allows requester vehicles to easily find the most suitable forwarder or producer among the community members in their neighborhood area.Furthermore,we introduce an effective caching mechanism by dividing the content store into two parts,one for community private contents and the second one for public contents.Simulation results show that our proposed forwarding technique can achieve a favorable performance compared with traditional VNDN,in terms of data delivery ratio,average data delivery delay,and cache hit ratio. | Amel Boudelaa Zohra Abdelhafidi Nasreddine Lagraa Chaker Abdelaziz Kerrache Muhammad Bilal Daehan Kwak Mohamed Bachir Yagoubi | 2022 | Computers, Materials & Continua2022,,11: | 0 |
| 4 | LSTDA: Link Stability and Transmission Delay Aware Routing Mechanism for Flying Ad-Hoc Network (FANET)显示文摘The paper presents a new protocol called Link Stability and Transmission Delay Aware(LSTDA)for Flying Adhoc Network(FANET)with a focus on network corridors(NC).FANET consists of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles(UAVs)that face challenges in avoiding transmission loss and delay while ensuring stable communication.The proposed protocol introduces a novel link stability with network corridors priority node selection to check and ensure fair communication in the entire network.The protocol uses a Red-Black(R-B)tree to achieve maximum channel utilization and an advanced relay approach.The paper evaluates LSTDA in terms of End-to-End Delay(E2ED),Packet Delivery Ratio(PDR),Network Lifetime(NLT),and Transmission Loss(TL),and compares it with existing methods such as Link Stability Estimation-based Routing(LEPR),Distributed Priority Tree-based Routing(DPTR),and Delay and Link Stability Aware(DLSA)using MATLAB simulations.The results show that LSTDA outperforms the other protocols,with lower average delay,higher average PDR,longer average NLT,and comparable average TL. | Farman Ali Khalid Zaman Babar Shah Tariq Hussain Habib Ullah Altaf Hussain Daehan Kwak | 2023 | Computers, Materials & Continua2023,77,10: | 0 |
| 5 | Are suspicious activity reporting requirements for cryptocurrency exchanges effective?显示文摘This study analyzes the impact of a newly emerging type of anti-money laundering regulation that obligates cryptocurrency exchanges to report suspicious transactions to financial authorities.We build a theoretical model for the reporting decision structure of a private bank or cryptocurrency exchange and show that an inferior ability to detect money laundering(ML)increases the ratio of reported transactions to unreported transactions.If a representative money launderer makes an optimal portfolio choice,then this ratio increases further.Our findings suggest that cryptocurrency exchanges will exhibit more excessive reporting behavior under this regulation than private banks.We attribute this result to cryptocurrency exchanges’inferior ML detection abilities and their proximity to the underground economy. | Daehan Kim Mehmet Huseyin Bilgin Doojin Ryu | 2021 | Financial Innovation2021,7,1: | 0 |
