2A new bone repair scaffold combined with chitosan/ hydroxyapatite and sustained releasing icariin显示文摘Icariin, a plant-derived flavonol glycoside, has been proved as an osteoinductive agent for bone tissue engineering. A new bone repair scaffold was generated by thorough mixing of icariin and chitosan/ hydroxyapatite (icariin-CS/HA) using freeze-drying technigue. Characteristics of morphology, mechanical properties, biocompatibility, drug release behavior and bone repair abilities in vivo were evaluated. The results show that drug loading process of icariin did not affect physical structure of CS/HA composite significantly but decreased mechanical properies of CS/HA composite, which happened with a high dosage; icariin-CS/HA had favorable cell compatibility and promoted osteogenic differentiation of hBMSCs; the controlled release of icariin was satisfactory and the release retained after 90 d in vitro. In addition, icariin-CS/HA scaffolds had favorable osteoconduction and osteoinduction in vivo, and could fill bone defect sites and stimulate newborn bone tissues formation at early stage. 3Bioaccumulation of Heavy Metal in Wild Growing Mushrooms from Liangshan Yi Nationality Autonomous Prefecture,China显示文摘The heavy metal bioaccumulation levels of 13 species of mushrooms were studied. 13 different species of wild mush-rooms growing in China were analyzed for Cu, Zn, Pb, Cd, and As. Contents of Cu, Zn, Cd and Pb in mushroom and Cu, Zn in soil were tested by atomic absorption spectrometer (AAS), and As in samples by atomic fluorescent light (AFL). Contents of Cd and Pb in soil were analyzed by graphite furnace AAS. The results showed that contents of Cu, Pb, Cd, and As in Termitomyces microcarpus were the highest in the tested mushroom samples, which were 135.00, 13.28, 65.30, and 1.60 mg·kg-1 (dry biomass) respectively, and the corresponding bioconcentration factor (BCF) for Cu and Cd was 57 and 1 674 separately, which was the highest data in 13 mushroom species. 5A high-sensitivity H2S gas sensor based on optimized ZnO-ZnS nano-heterojunction sensing material显示文摘This paper reports a high-performance H2S gas sensing material that is made of ZnO nanowires(NWs)modified by an optimal amount of ZnS to form nano-hete rojunctions.Compared with the intrinsic ZnONWs,the three differently modified nano-heterostructure material ZnO-ZnS-x(x=5,10,15)shows significant improvement in sensing performance to H2S at the working temperatures of 100-400℃,especially in the low temperature range(<300℃).The chemiresistive sensor with ZnO-ZnS-10 sensingmaterial exhibits the largest response signal to H2S among all the other ZnO-ZnS-x(x=5,10,15,20)sensors.Its response signal to 5 ppm H2S at 150℃is about 2.7 times to that of the ZnO-NWs sensor.Besides,the ZnO-ZnS-10 sensor also features satisfactory selectivity and repeatability at 150℃.With the technical advantage attributed to the reduction of the redesigned band gap at the interface between ZnO and ZnS,the ZnO-ZnS hete ro structure sensor rather than the traditional ZnO-NWs sensor can be used for high-sensitivity application at low working temperature.Pei Ding Dongsheng Xu Nan Dong Ying Chen Pengcheng Xu Dan Zheng Xinxin Li 2020Chinese Chemical Letters2020,31,8:5
6Two freedom linear parameter varying μ synthesis control for flight environment testbed显示文摘To solve the problem of robust servo performance of Flight Environment Testbed(FET)of Altitude Ground Test Facilities(AGTF) over the whole operational envelope, a two-degree-offreedom μ synthesis method based on Linear Parameter Varying(LPV) schematic is proposed, and meanwhile a new structure frame of μ synthesis control on two degrees of freedom with double integral and weighting functions is presented, which constitutes a core support part of the paper. Aimed at the problem of reference command's rapid change, one freedom feed forward is adopted, while another freedom output feedback is used to meet good servo tracking as well as disturbance and noise rejection; furthermore, to overcome the overshoot problem and acquire dynamic tuning,the integral is introduced in inner loop, and another integral controller is used in outer loop in order to guarantee steady errors; additionally, two performance weighting functions are designed to achieve robust specialty and control energy limit considering the uncertainties in system. As the schedule parameters change over large flight envelope, the stability of closed-loop LPV system is proved using Lyapunov inequalities. The simulation results show that the relative tracking errors of temperature and pressure are less than 0.5% with LPV μ synthesis controller. 7Phaeocystis globosa Bloom Monitoring: Based on P. globosa Induced Seawater Viscosity Modification Adjacent to a Nuclear Power Plant in Qinzhou Bay, China显示文摘The mucus produced by the outbreak of Phaeocystis globosa in the adjacent waters of the Fangchenggang Nuclear Power Plant(FCGNPP) in China has blocked the entrance of the cooling water filtration system of the FCGNPP, and posed a threat to the safe operation of the FCGNPP. At present, there is no related research on whether the changes in seawater viscosity could be used as a new method for monitoring and providing early warning of P. globosa tide. During a complete red tide cycle, the temporal and spatial changes in the hydrological conditions(temperature, salinity, dissolved oxygen), chlorophyll-a(Chl-a), composition and abundance of phytoplankton, number and size of P. globose colonies, concentration of transparent exopolymer particles(TEP) and the seawater viscosity were measured in this study. The results indicate that there was an extremely significant negative correlation between the physical seawater viscosity η_(T,S) and temperature, and the correlation coefficient reached-0.998. The biological seawater viscosity η_(Bio) was positively correlated with the number of P. globosa colonies, and the correlation coefficients is 0.747. Because the increase in phytoplankton abundance, especially during the outbreak of P. globosa and a large amount of mucus produced by the colonies could significantly increase seawater viscosity, we suggest that biological factors were the main reasons for the increase in seawater viscosity. 8The SOC1-like gene BoMADS50 is associated with the flowering of Bambusa oldhamii显示文摘Bamboo is known for its edible shoots and beautiful texture and has considerable economic and ornamental value.Unique among traditional flowering plants,many bamboo plants undergo extensive synchronized flowering followed by large-scale death,seriously affecting the productivity and application of bamboo forests.To date,the molecular mechanism of bamboo flowering characteristics has remained unknown.In this study,a SUPPRESSOR OF OVEREXPRESSION OF CONSTANS1(SOC1)-like gene,BoMADS50,was identified from Bambusa oldhamii.BoMADS50 was highly expressed in mature leaves and the floral primordium formation period during B.oldhamii flowering and overexpression of BoMADS50 caused early fl owering in transgenic rice.Moreover,BoMADS50 could interact with APETALA1/FRUITFULL(AP1/FUL)-like proteins(BoMADS 14-1/2,BoMADS15-1/2)in vivo,and the expression of BoMADS50 was signi ficantly promoted by BoMADS14-1,further indicating a synergistic effect between BoMADS50 and BoAP1/FUL-like proteins in regulating B.oldhamii flowering.We also identi fi ed four additional transcripts of BoMADS50(BoMADS50-1/2/3/4)with different nucleotide variations.Although the protein-CDS were polymorphic,they had flowering activation functions similar to those of BoMADS50.Yeast one-hybrid and transient expression assays subsequently showed that both BoMADS50 and BoMADS50-1 bind to the promoter fragment of itself and the SHORT VEGETATIVE PHASE(SVP)-like gene BoSVP,but only BoMADS50-1 can positively induce their transcription.Therefore,nucleotide variations likely endow BoMADS50-1 with strong regulatory activity.Thus,BoMADS50 and BoMADS50-1/2/3/4 are probably important positive flowering regulators in B.oldhamii.Moreover,the functional conservatism and speci ficity of BoMADS50 and BoMADS50-1 might be related to the synchronized and sporadic flowering characteristics of B.oldhamii.Dan Hou Ling Li Tengfei Ma Jialong Pei Zhongyu Zhao Mengzhu Lu Aimin Wu Xinchun Lin 2021Horticulture Research2021,8,1:4
9Determining hydrothermal deactivation mechanisms on Cu/SAPO-34 NH_(3)-SCR catalysts at low-and high-reaction regions:establishing roles of different reaction sites显示文摘Hydrothermal deactivation is a constant chal-lenge in commercial catalytic process aimed at NOx emission control,which may be observed in the low(150-400℃)or high(400-550℃)-reaction regions.To the best of our knowledge,there is a lack of systematic research regarding the correlation between the reaction sites and the mechanism of hydrothermal degradation at various reaction regions.For a targeted investigation of this,Cu/zeolite catalysts have been prepared using different amounts of polyvinyl alcohol for adjusting their redox and acid properties.These catalysts exhibit hydrothermal deactivation in different reaction regions.No change is observed in the reaction mechanism even with hydrother-mal deactivation,but various reaction sites determine the performance deterioration in the low-and high-reaction regions.The redox properties and weak acid sites affect the hydrothermal deactivation in the low-reaction region,whereas the moderate/strong acid sites related to the structure mainly influence the hydrothermal deactivation in the high-reaction region.This work provides several the-oretical insights for optimizing the hydrothermal stabilities of Cu/zeolite catalysts.Qing-Jin Lin Ming-Ming Pei Pan Yao Shi Xu Shu-Hao Xu Shuang Liu Hai-Di Xu Yi Dan Yao-Qiang Chen 2022Rare Metals2022,41,6:4

11Melittin ameliorates inflammation in mouse acute liver failure via inhibition of PKM2-mediated Warburg effect显示文摘Acute liver failure(ALF)is a fatal clinical syndrome with no special drug.Recent evidence shows that modulation of macrophage to inhibit inflammation may be a promising strategy for ALF treatment.In this study we investigated the potential therapeutic effects of melittin,a major peptide component of bee venom both in mice model of ALF and in LPS-stimulated macrophages in vitro,and elucidated the underlying mechanisms.ALF was induced in mice by intraperitoneal injection of D-galactosamine/LPS.Then the mice were treated with melittin(2,4,and 8 mg/kg,ip).We showed that melittin treatment markedly improved mortality,attenuated severe symptoms and signs,and alleviated hepatic inflammation in D-galactosamine/LPS-induced ALF mice with the optimal dose being 4 mg/kg.In addition,melittin within the effective doses did not cause significant in vivo toxicity.In LPS-stimulated RAW264.7 macrophages,melittin(0.7μM)exerted anti-oxidation and anti-inflammation effects.We showed that LPS stimulation promoted aerobic glycolysis of macrophages through increasing glycolytic rate,upregulated the levels of Warburg effect-related enzymes and metabolites including lactate,LDHA,LDH,and GLUT-1,and activated Akt/mTOR/PKM2/HIF-1α signaling.Melittin treatment suppressed M2 isoform of pyruvate kinase(PKM2),thus disrupted the Warburg effect to alleviate inflammation.Molecular docking analysis confirmed that melittin targeted PKM2.In LPS-stimulated RAW264.7 macrophages,knockdown of PKM2 caused similar anti-inflammation effects as melittin did.In D-galactosamine/LPS-induced ALF mice,melittin treatment markedly decreased the expression levels of PKM2 and HIF-1α in liver.This work demonstrates that melittin inhibits macrophage activation-mediated inflammation via inhibition of aerobic glycolysis by targeting PKM2,which highlights a novel strategy of using melittin for ALF treatment.Xue-gong Fan Si-ya Pei Dan Zhou Peng-cheng Zhou Yan Huang Xing-wang Hu Teng Li Yang Wang Ze-bing Huang Ning Li 2021Acta Pharmacologica Sinica2021,42,8:4

14Measuring BGP AS Path Looping(BAPL) and Private AS Number Leaking(PANL)显示文摘As a path vector protocol,Border Gateway Protocol(BGP) messages contain an entire Autonomous System(AS) path to each destination for breaking arbitrary long AS path loops.However,after observing the global routing data from Route Views,we find that BGP AS Path Looping(BAPL) behavior does occur and in fact can lead to multi-AS forwarding loops in both IPv4 and IPv6.The number and ratio of BAPLs in IPv4 and IPv6 on a daily basis from August 1,2011 to August 31,2015 are analyzed.Moreover,the distribution of BAPLs among duration and loop length in IPv4 and IPv6 are also studied.Several possible explanations for BAPL are discussed in this paper.Private AS Number Leaking(PANL) has contributed to 0.20% of BAPLs in IPv4,and at least 1.76% of BAPLs in IPv4 were attributed to faulty configurations and malicious attacks.Valid explanations,including networks of multinational companies,preventing particular AS from accepting routes,also can lead to BAPLs.Motivated by the large number of PANLs that contribute to BAPLs,we also study the number and the ratio of PANLs per day in the 1492 days.The distribution of the private AS numbers in all of the PANLs is concentrated,and most of them are located in the source of the AS paths.The majority of BAPLs resulted from PANLs endure less than one day,and the number of BAPLs which are caused by two or more leaked private ASes are much larger than that of BAPLs which are caused by one leaked private AS.We explain for this phenomenon and give some advices for the operators of ASes.Shenglin Zhang Ying Liu Dan Pei Baojun Liu 2018Tsinghua Science and Technology2018,23,1:2

16Oxidation resistance of nickel-based superalloy Inconel 600 in air at different temperatures显示文摘Inconel 600 alloy is widely utilized for high temperature environment application due to the corresponding good oxidation and corrosion resistance properties.In order to estimate the high temperature oxidation resistance of Inconel 600 alloy at various temperatures,the oxidation weight gain of all specimens was measured and fitted for the curve at the temperatures of 700,800 and 900 ℃ for exposure time of 100 h.The surface morphology and the component of the oxide film were analyzed by scanning electron microscopy(SEM),energy-dispersive spectroscopy(EDS) and X-ray diffraction(XRD).The results indicate that the high temperature oxidation resistance of Inconel 600 alloy is excellent blew 800℃ due to the oxidation kinetic curves at different temperatures corresponding to the parabola dynamic rules.This means that the oxidation film protects the substrate well.The dense oxide layer formation containing Cr_(2)O_(3) and NiCr_(2)O_(4) at 700 and 800 ℃ and MnCr_(2)O_(4) at 900 ℃,respectively,is the main reason for the good oxidation resistance.In contrast,the oxide layer peels off easily under applied force as the temperature increases beyond 800℃, on account of the complicated compositions of the oxide film and the binding force between the oxide layer and the substrate weakening.Corresponding oxidation mechanism is expected to be understood and the oxidation resistance of Inconel 600 alloy is improved through binding force enhancement.Dong-Sheng Li Guang Chen Dan Li Qi Zheng Pei Gao Ling-Ling Zhang 2021Rare Metals2021,40,11:1

18BAK1 plays contrasting roles in regulating abscisic acid-induced stomatal closure and abscisic acid-inhibited primary root growth in Arabidopsis显示文摘The mechanisms that balance plant growth and stress responses are poorly understood, but they appear to involve abscisic acid(ABA) signaling mediated by protein kinases. Here, to explore these mechanisms, we examined the responses of Arabidopsis thaliana protein kinase mutants to ABA treatment. We found that mutants of BRASSINOSTEROID INSENSITIVE 1-ASSOCIATED RECEPTOR KINASE 1(BAK1) were hypersensitive to the effects of ABA on both seed germination and primary root growth. The kinase OPEN STOMATA 1(OST1) was more highly activated by ABA in bak1 mutant than the wild type. BAK1 was not activated by ABA treatment in the dominant negative mutant abi1-1 or the pyr1 pyl4 pyl5 pyl8 quadruple mutant, but it was more highly activated by this treatment in the abi1-2 abi2-2 hab1-1 loss-of-function triple mutant than the wild type. BAK1 phosphorylates OST1 T146 and inhibits its activity. Genetic analyses suggested that BAK1 acts at or upstream of core components in the ABA signaling pathway, including PYLs, PP2 Cs,and Sn RK2 s, during seed germination and primary root growth. Although the upstream brassinosteroid(BR) signaling components BAK1 and BR INSENSITIVE 1(BRI1) positively regulate ABAinduced stomatal closure, mutations affecting downstream components of BR signaling, including BRASSINOSTEROID-SIGNALING KINASEs(BSKs)and BRASSINOSTEROID-INSENSITIVE 2(BIN2), did not affect ABA-mediated stomatal movement.
