1Online diagnosis of electron excitation temperature in CH_4+H_2 discharge plasma at atmospheric pressure by optical emission spectra显示文摘Methane coupling under low temperature plasmas at atmospheric pressure is a green process by use of renewable sources of energy. In this study, CH4+H2 dis- charge plasma was on-line diagnosed by optical emission spectra so as to char- acterize the discharge system and to do spade work for the optimization of the technical parameters for future commercial production of methane coupling under plasmas. The study was focused on a calculation method for the online diagnosis of the electron excitation temperature in CH4+H2 discharge plasma at atmospheric pressure. The diagnostic method is easy, efficient and fairly precise. 3Gastrin attenuates sepsis-induced myocardial dysfunction by down-regulation of TLR4 expression in macrophages显示文摘Myocardial dysfunction is the most serious complication of sepsis.Sepsis-induced myocardial dysfunction(SMD)is often associated with gastrointestinal dysfunction,but its pathophysiological significance remains unclear.The present study found that patients with SMD had higher plasma gastrin concentrations than those without SMD.In mice,knockdown of the gastrin receptor,cholecystokinin B receptor(Cckbr),aggravated lipopolysaccharide(LPS)-induced cardiac dysfunction and increased inflammation in the heart,whereas the intravenous administration of gastrin ameliorated SMD and cardiac injury.Macrophage infiltration plays a significant role in SMD because depletion of macrophages by the intravenous injection of clodronate liposomes,48 h prior to LPS administration,alleviated LPSinduced cardiac injury in Cckbr-deficient mice.The intravenous injection of bone marrow macrophages(BMMs)overexpressing Cckbr reduced LPS-induced myocardial dysfunction.Furthermore,gastrin treatment inhibited toll-like receptor 4(TLR4)expression through the peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor a(PPAR-a)signaling pathway in BMMs.Thus,our findings provide insights into the mechanism of the protective role of gastrin/CCKBR in SMD,which could be used to develop new treatment modalities for SMD.Dandong Fang Yu Li Bo He Daqian Gu Mingming Zhang Jingwen Guo Hongmei Ren Xinyue Li Ziyue Zhang Ming Tang Xingbing Li Donghai Yang Chunmei Xu Yijie Hu Hongyong Wang Pedro AJose Yu Han Chunyu Zeng 2023Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2023,13,9:1
4Diagnostic Classification of Normal Persons andCancer Patients by Using Neural NetworkBased on Trace Metal Contents in Serum Samples显示文摘Artificial neural network with the back-propagation (BP-ANN) approach was applied to the classification of normal persons and various cancer patients based on the elemental contents in serum samples. This method was verified by the cross-validation method. The effects of the net- work parameters were investigated and the related problems were discussed. The samples of 72, 42, and 52 for lung, liver, and stomach cancer patients and normal persons, respectively, were used for the classification study. About 95% of the samples can be classified correctly. 12Simultaneous Detection of Three Arboviruses Using a Triplex RT-PCR Enzyme Hybridization Assay显示文摘Arboviruses represent a serious problem to public health and agriculture worldwide. Fast, accurate identification of the viral agents of arbovirus-associated disease is essential for epidemiological surveillance and laboratory investigation. We developed a cost-effective, rapid, and highly sensitive one-step 'triplex RT-PCR enzyme hybridization' assay for simultaneous detections of Japanese Encephallitis virus (JEV, Flaviviridae), Getah virus (GETV, Togaviridae), and Tahyna virus (TAHV, Bunyaviridae) using three pairs of primers to amplify three target sequences in one RT-PCR reaction. The analytical sensitivity of this assay was 1 PFU/mL for JEV, 10 PFU/mL for GETV, and 10 PFU/mL for TAHV. This assay is significantly more rapid and less expensive than the traditional serological detection and single RT-PCR reaction methods. When 'triplex RT-PCR enzyme hybridization' was applied to 29 cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) samples that were JEV-positive by normal RT-PCR assay, all samples were strongly positive for JEV, but negative for GETV and TAHV, demonstrating a good sensitivity, specificity, and performance at CSF specimen detection.DanDong Shi—hongFu Li-huaWang ZhiLv Tai-yuanLi Guo.dongLiang 2012Virologica Sinica2012,27,3:0
13A cyberGIS-enabled multi-criteria spatial decision support system: A case study on flood emergency management显示文摘With the increased frequency of natural hazards and disasters and consequent losses,it is imperative to develop efficient and timely strategies for emergency response and relief operations.In this paper,we propose a cyberGIS-enabled multi-criteria spatial decision support system for supporting rapid decision making during emergency management.It combines a high-performance computing environment(cyberGIS-Jupyter)and multi-criteria decision analysis models(Weighted Sum Model(WSM)and Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution Model(TOPSIS))with various types of social vulnerability indicators to solve decision problems that contain conflicting evaluation criteria in a flood emergency situation.Social media data(e.g.Twitter data)was used as an additional tool to support the decision-making process.Our case study involves two decision goals generated based on a past flood event in the city of Austin,Texas,U.S.A.As our result shows,WSM produces more diverse values and higher output category estimations than the TOPSIS model.Finally,the model was validated using an innovative questionnaire.This cyberGIS-enabled spatial decision support system allows collaborative problem solving and efficient knowledge transformation between decision makers,where different emergency responders can formulate their decision objectives,select relevant evaluation criteria,and perform interactive weighting and sensitivity analyses.Zhe Zhang Hao Hu Dandong Yin Shakil Kashem Ruopu Li Heng Cai Dylan Perkins Shaowen Wang 2019International Journal of Digital Earth2019,12,11:0
14Ball Tips of Micro/Nano Probing Systems:A Review显示文摘To satisfy the measuring demands for the micro components of the industry, micro/nano probing systems with various ball tips have been developed. However, most of them cannot be used to measure the real micro geometrical features high precisely because the parameters of the ball tips are not appropriate. The ball tips with a diameter of less than 100 μm, a sphericity and eccentricity of far less than 1 μm are required urgently. A review on the state-of-the-art of ball tips of micro/nano probing systems is presented. The material characteristics and geometric parameters of now available ball tips are introduced separately. The existing fabrication methods for the ball tips are demonstrated and summarized. The ball tips' future trends,which are smaller diameter, better sphericity and smaller eccentricity, are proposed in view of the practical requirements of high-precision measurement for micro geometrical features. 16Catalytic Kinetic Determination of Micro Amounts of Oxalic Acid by Second-Order Derivative Oscillopolarography显示文摘It was found that micro amounts of oxalate showed a very strong catalytic effect on the slow reaction between K 2Cr 2O 7 and Orange Ⅳ in a diluted sulfuric acid medium in a water bath at 70 ℃ . Orange Ⅳ exhibited a sensitive second order derivative polarographic wave at -0 50 V( vs . SCE). This provides the basis for a sensitive and selective catalytic kinetic method for oxalate determination with second order derivative oscillopolarography. The effects of sulphuric acid, K 2Cr 2O 7, and orange Ⅳ concentrations, reaction temperature and reaction time were investigated. A calibration curve of oxalate in the range of 0 1-2 0 μg/mL was obtained by the fixed time procedure. The detection limit was 0 03 μg/ mL. The possible interference from co existing substances or ions was examined. The new method has a high sensitivity and a good selectivity compared to other existing methods for oxalic acid determination.
