1Supercritical water oxidation of polyvinyl alcohol and desizing wastewater: Influence of NaOH on the organic decomposition显示文摘Polyvinyl alcohol is a refractory compound widely used in industry. Here we report supercritical water oxidation of polyvinyl alcohol solution and desizing wastewater with and without sodium hydroxide addition. However, it is difficult to implement complete degradation of organics even though polyvinyl alcohol can readily crack under supercritical water treatment. Sodium hydroxide had a significant catalytic effect during the supercritical water oxidation of polyvinyl alcohol. It appears that the OH ion participated in the C-C bond cleavage of polyvinyl alcohol molecules, the CO2-capture reaction and the neutralization of intermediate organic acids, promoting the overall reactions moving in the forward direction. Acetaldehyde was a typical intermediate product during reaction. For supercritical water oxidation of desizing wastewater, a high destruction rate (98.25%) based on total organic carbon was achieved. 2Land-surface processes and summer-cloud-precipitation characteristics in the Tibetan Plateau and their effects on downstream weather:a review and perspective显示文摘Correct understanding of the land-surface processes and cloud-precipitation processes in the Tibetan Plateau(TP)is an important prerequisite for the study and forecast of the downstream activities of weather systems and one of the key points for understanding the global atmospheric movement.In order to show the achievements that have been made,this paper reviews the progress on the observations for the atmospheric boundary layer,land-surface heat fluxes,cloud-precipitation distributions and vertical structures by using ground-and space-based multiplatform,multisensor instruments and the effect of the cloud system in the TP on the downstream weather.The results show that the form drag related to the topography,land-atmosphere momentum and scalar fluxes is an important part of the parameterization process.The sensible heat flux decreased especially in the central and northern TP caused by the decrease in wind speeds and the differences in the ground-air temperatures.Observations show that the cloud and precipitation over the TP have a strong diurnal variation.Studies also show the compressed-air column in the troposphere by the higher-altitude terrain of the TP makes particles inside clouds vary at a shorter distance in the vertical direction than those in the non-plateau area so that precipitation intensity over the TP is usually small with short duration,and the vertical structure of the convective precipitation over the TP is obviously different from that in other regions.In addition,the influence of the TP on severe weather downstream is preliminarily understood from the mechanism.It is necessary to use model simulations and observation techniques to reveal the difference between cloud precipitation in the TP and non-plateau areas in order to understand the cloud microphysical parameters over the TP and the processes of the land boundary layer affecting cloud,precipitation and weather in the downstream regions.Yunfei Fu Yaoming Ma Lei Zhong Yuanjian Yang Xueliang Guo Chenghai Wang Xiaofeng Xu Kun Yang Xiangde Xu Liping Liu Guangzhou Fan Yueqing Li Donghai Wang 2020National Science Review2020,7,3:10
3Development of a daily soil moisture product for the period of2002–2011 in Chinese mainland显示文摘Soil moisture is an essential climate variable(ECV) concerned widely. Due to its high spatial variability, it is costly to measure soil moisture at tens of kilometers scale. In this study, a ten-year(2002–2011) daily soil moisture dataset at 0.25° spatial resolution for Chinese mainland was produced through assimilating the Advanced Microwave Scanning Radiometer for Earth Observing System(AMSR-E) brightness temperature(TB) data into a land surface model(LSM). The obtained soil moisture data was evaluated against soil moisture-measuring networks deployed in two wet areas and one dry area of the Tibetan Plateau.The results show that for the wet areas the accuracy of the soil moisture product obtained from the assimilation is considerably higher than that of both AMSR-E official soil moisture products and land surface simulation results, and for the dry area their accuracy is comparable to each other. The spatial pattern of the soil moisture from the new product is consistent with that of soil porosity from an independent survey-based dataset, further confirming the credibility of the new product. According to this product, the transition regions in China show stronger seasonal variation of soil moisture than dry and wet regions, and drier regions have stronger inter-annual variability of soil moisture than wetter regions, particularly during transitional seasons(spring and autumn). 4An Analytical Method for Calculating the Shielding Effectiveness of an Enclosure with an Oblique Rectangular Aperture显示文摘An efficient analytical method is proposed to calculate the Shielding effectiveness(SE)of an enclosure with an oblique rectangular aperture.This enclosure was first decomposed into two ones with horizontal rectangular apertures through mirror image and Green function theories.The SE of each decomposed enclosure was calculated by the Robinson’s method.The relationship between the SE of the original cavity and those of the decomposed ones was also derived analytically.The SE of the original cavity could be directly obtained from this analytical relationship.The accuracy of the proposed method was validated with measurements and the Transmission line matrix(TLM)solver.The results show that the efficiency was largely improved compared with the TLM solver.SU Donglin LIU Hongyi YANG Shunchuan ZHAO Zihua SUI Donghai 2019Chinese Journal of Electronics2019,28,4:5

7Two-dimensional multimetallic sulfide nanosheets with multi-active sites to enhance polysulfide redox reactions in liquid Li2S6-based lithium-polysulfide batteries显示文摘The lithium-sulfur battery has attracted enormous attention as being one of the most significant energy storage technologies due to its high energy density and cost-effectiveness.However,the 'shuttle effect' of polysulfide intermediates represents a formidable challenge towards its wide applications.Herein,we have designed and synthesized two-dimensional Cu,Zn and Sn-based multimetallic sulfide nanosheets to construct multi-active sites for the immobilization and entrapment of polysulfides with offering better performance in liquid Li2S6-based lithium-polysulfide batteries.Both experimental measurements and theoretical computations demonstrate that the interfacial multi-active sites of multimetallic sulfides not only accelerate the multi-chained redox reactions of highly diffusible polysulfides,but also strengthen affinities toward polysulfides.By adopting multimetallic sulfide nanosheets as the sulfur host,the liquid Li2 S6-based cell exhibits an impressive rate capability with 1200 mAh/g and retains 580 mAh/g at 0.5 mA/cm^(2) after 1000 cycles.With high sulfur mass loading conditions,the cell with 2.0 mg/cm^(2) sulfur loading delivers a cell capacity of 1068 mAh/g and maintains 480 mAh/g with 0.8 mA/cm^(2) and 500 cycles.This study provides new insights into the multifunctional material design with multi-active sites for elevated lithium-polysulfide batteries.Chenyang Zha Donghai Wu Yuwei Zhao Jun Deng Jinghua Wu Rong Wu Meng Yang Lin Wang Houyang Chen 2021Journal of Energy Chemistry2021,30,1:3

10Spatial Interaction Network Analysis of Crude Oil Trade Relations between Countries along the Belt and Road显示文摘Based on the theories and methods of complex network,crude oil trade flows between countries along the Belt and Road(B&R,hereafter)are inserted into the Geo-space of B&R and form a spatial interaction network which takes the countries as nodes and takes the trade relations as edges.The networked mining and evolution analysis can provide important references for the research on trade relations among the B&R countries and the formulation of trade policy.This paper researches and discusses the construction,statistical analysis,top networks and stability of the crude oil trade network between the B&R countries from 2001 to 2020 from the perspectives of Geo-Computation for Social Sciences(GCSS)and spatial interaction.Firstly,evolutions of out-degree,in-degree,out-strength and in-strength of the top 10 countries in the crude oil trade network are computed and analyzed.Secondly,the top network method is used to explore the evolution characteristics of hierarchical structures.And finally,the sequential evolution characteristics of the crude oil trade network stability are analyzed utilizing the network stability measure method based on the trade relationship autocorrelation function.The analysis results show that Russia has the largest out-degree and out-strength,and China has the largest in-degree and in-strength.The crude oil trade volume of the top 10 import and export networks between 2001—2020 accounts for over 90%of the total trade volume of the crude oil trade network,and the proportion remains relatively stable.However,the stability of the network showed strong fluctuations in 2009,2012 and 2014,which may be closely related to major international events in these years,which could furtherly be used to build a correlation model between network volatility and major events.This paper explores how to construct and analyze the spatial interaction network of crude oil trade and can provide references for trade relations research and trade policy formulation of B&R countries.Qixin WANG Kun QIN Donghai LIU Gang XU Yanqing XU Yang ZHOU Rui XIAO 2022Journal of Geodesy and Geoinformation Science2022,5,2:2
11Regulating electronic structure of two-dimensional porous Ni/Ni_(3)N nanosheets architecture by Co atomic incorporation boosts alkaline water splitting显示文摘Interfacial engineering is a powerful method to improve the bifunctional electrocatalytic performance of pure phase catalysts.While it is expected to further optimize the electronic configuration of heterojunctions to boost the reaction kinetics in hydrogen/oxygen evolution reaction(HER/OER),but remains a challenge.Herein,a novel in situ hybrid heterojunction strategy is developed to construct 2D porous Co-doped Ni/Ni_(3)N heterostructure nanosheets(Co-Ni/Ni_(3)N)by pyrolysis of partially cobalt substituted nickel-zeolitic imidazolate framework(CoNi-ZIF)nanosheets under NH3 atmosphere.A combined experimental and theoretical studies manifest that the hybrid heterostructures can display regulative electronic states and downshift d-band center from the Fermi level,as well as optimize the adsorption energy of reaction intermediates,thus reducing the thermodynamic energy barriers and accelerating the catalytic kinetics.Consequently,benefitting from the optimized electronic configuration,hierarchical hollow nanosheets architecture,and abundant doped heterojunctions,the hybrid Co-Ni/Ni_(3)N heterostructure catalyst exhibits efficient catalytic activity for both HER(60 mV)and OER(322 mV)at 10 mA cm^(-2)in alkaline media,which is 105 and 47 mV lower than that of pure Ni_(3)N,respectively.The electrochemically active surface area of Co-Ni/Ni_(3)N is two times higher than that of Ni3N.Furthermore,the coupled practical water electrolyzer requires a low voltage of 1.575 V to reach 10 mA cm^(-2),and it can be driven by a 1.5 V battery.This work highlights the interface engineering guidance for the rational establishment of hybrid interfaces by electronic modulation of interfacial effect for alkaline water splitting.Kaixi Wang Yingying Guo Zhonghui Chen Donghai Wu Shouren Zhang Baocheng Yang Jianan Zhang 2022InfoMat2022,4,6:1
12Gastrin attenuates sepsis-induced myocardial dysfunction by down-regulation of TLR4 expression in macrophages显示文摘Myocardial dysfunction is the most serious complication of sepsis.Sepsis-induced myocardial dysfunction(SMD)is often associated with gastrointestinal dysfunction,but its pathophysiological significance remains unclear.The present study found that patients with SMD had higher plasma gastrin concentrations than those without SMD.In mice,knockdown of the gastrin receptor,cholecystokinin B receptor(Cckbr),aggravated lipopolysaccharide(LPS)-induced cardiac dysfunction and increased inflammation in the heart,whereas the intravenous administration of gastrin ameliorated SMD and cardiac injury.Macrophage infiltration plays a significant role in SMD because depletion of macrophages by the intravenous injection of clodronate liposomes,48 h prior to LPS administration,alleviated LPSinduced cardiac injury in Cckbr-deficient mice.The intravenous injection of bone marrow macrophages(BMMs)overexpressing Cckbr reduced LPS-induced myocardial dysfunction.Furthermore,gastrin treatment inhibited toll-like receptor 4(TLR4)expression through the peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor a(PPAR-a)signaling pathway in BMMs.Thus,our findings provide insights into the mechanism of the protective role of gastrin/CCKBR in SMD,which could be used to develop new treatment modalities for SMD.Dandong Fang Yu Li Bo He Daqian Gu Mingming Zhang Jingwen Guo Hongmei Ren Xinyue Li Ziyue Zhang Ming Tang Xingbing Li Donghai Yang Chunmei Xu Yijie Hu Hongyong Wang Pedro AJose Yu Han Chunyu Zeng 2023Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2023,13,9:1

16Flow Characteristics of Crude Oil with High Water Fraction during Non-heating Gathering and Transportation显示文摘In order to ensure the safety of the non-heating gathering and transportation processes for high water fraction crude oil,the effect of temperature,water fraction,and flow rate on the flow characteristics of crude oil with high water fraction was studied in a flow experimental system of the X Oilfield.Four distinct flow patterns were identified by the photographic and local sampling techniques.Especially,three new flow patterns were found to occur below the pour point of crude oil,including EW/O&W stratified flow with gel deposition,EW/O&W intermittent flow with gel deposition,and water single-phase flow with gel deposition.Moreover,two characteristic temperatures,at which the change rate of pressure drop had changed obviously,were found during the change of pressure drop.The characteristic temperature of the first congestion of gel deposition in the pipeline was determined to be the safe temperature for the non-heating gathering and transportation of high water cut crude oil,while the pressure drop reached the peak at this temperature.An empirical formula for the safe temperature was established for oil-water flow with high water fraction/low fluid production rate.The results can serve as a guide for the safe operation of the non-heating gathering and transportation of crude oil in high water fraction oilfields.LüYuling Tan Hao Li Jiao Yang Donghai Xu Peiyang 2021China Petroleum Processing & Petrochemical Technology2021,23,1:1
