1Joint Radar and Communication: A Survey显示文摘Joint radar and communication(JRC)technology has become important for civil and military applications for decades.This paper introduces the concepts,characteristics and advantages of JRC technology,presenting the typical applications that have benefited from JRC technology currently and in the future.This paper explores the state-of-the-art of JRC in the levels of coexistence,cooperation,co-design and collaboration.Compared to previous surveys,this paper reviews the entire trends that drive the development of radar sensing and wireless communication using JRC.Specifically,we explore an open research issue on radar and communication operating with mutual benefits based on collaboration,which represents the fourth stage of JRC evolution.This paper provides useful perspectives for future researches of JRC technology.Zhiyong Feng Zixi Fang Zhiqing Wei Xu Chen Zhi Quan Danna Ji 2020China Communications2020,17,1:19
2Genetic Diversity and Population Structure for the Conservation of Giant Spiny Frog(Quasipaa spinosa)Using Microsatellite Loci and Mitochondrial DNA显示文摘The giant spiny frog(Quasipaa spinosa) is an endangered species with a relatively small distribution limited to southern China and Northern Vietnam. This species is becoming increasingly threatened because of over-exploitation and habitat degradation. This study provides data on the genetic diversity and population genetic structure of the giant spiny frog to facilitate the further development of effective conservation recommendations for this economically important but threatened species. We examined 10 species-specific microsatellite loci and Cyt b genes(562 bp) collected from 13 wild populations across the entire range of this species. Results of 10 microsatellite loci analysis showed a generally high level of genetic diversity. Moreover, the genetic differentiation among all 12 populations was moderate to large(overall F_(ST) = 0.1057). A total of 51 haplotypes were identified for Cyt b, which suggests high haplotype nucleotide diversities. Phylogeographic and population structure analyses using both DNA markers suggested that the wild giant spiny frog can be divided into four distinct major clades, i.e., Northern Vietnam, Western China, Central China, and Eastern China. The clades with significant genetic divergence are reproductively isolated, as evidenced by a high number of private alleles and strong incidence of failed amplification in microsatellite loci. Our research, coupled with other studies, suggests that Q. spinosa might be a species complex within which no detectable morphological variation has been revealed. 3Operculina and Neoassilina:A Revision of Recent Nummulitid Genera Based on Molecular and Morphological Data Reveals a New Genus显示文摘The genus Operculina,a large symbiont-bearing benthic foraminifer,is characterized by high morphological variability showing thick involute to intermediate semi-involute to flat evolute tests.Different morphotypes are either considered as ecophenotypes or distinct species.In order to test the hypothesis of ecophenotypes versus different species,a single cell high throughput sequencing approach was applied to assess the interspecific diversity of Operculina.This results in two groups of ribotypes,one corresponding to Operculina ammonoides/Operculina discoidalis,the other containing Operculina complanata/Operculina elegans.These groups can also be separated morphologically.Therefore,O.complanata and O.elegans represent a single species and the latter can be regarded as a junior synonym of O.complanata.Operculina ammonoides and O.discoidalis also form a single species,which makes the latter a junior synonym of O.ammonoides.Because generic differences in Operculina species are manifested in morphology and molecular genetics,the genus Neoassilina with the designated species Neoassilina ammonoides is installed.Additional analysis of ribosomal SSU rDNA data of eight recent nummulitid genera confirms the obtained high troughput sequencing results and further shows that Palaeonummulites venosus builds a clade with O.complanata that branches at the base of other Nummulitidae containing Planostegina,Planoperculina,Cycloclypeus,Heterostegina,Operculinella and Neoassilina.Maria Holzmann Johann Hohenegger Laure Apothéloz-Perret-Gentil Raphael Morard Sigal Abramovich Danna Titelboim Jan Pawlowski 2022Journal of Earth Science2022,33,6:2

9CDK7-YAP-LDHD axis promotes D-lactate elimination and ferroptosis defense to support cancer stem cell-like properties显示文摘Reprogrammed cellular metabolism is essential for maintaining cancer stem cells(CSCs)state.Here,we report that mitochondrial D-lactate catabolism is a necessary initiating oncogenic event during tumorigenesis of esophageal squamous cell carcinoma(ESCC).We discover that cyclin-dependent kinase 7(CDK7)phosphorylates nuclear Yes-associated protein 1(YAP)at S127 and S397 sites and enhances its transcription function,which promotes D-lactate dehydrogenase(LDHD)protein expression.Moreover,LDHD is enriched significantly in ESCC-CSCs rather than differentiated tumor cells and high LDHD status is connected with poor prognosis in ESCC patients.Mechanistically,the CDK7-YAP-LDHD axis helps ESCC-CSCs escape from ferroptosis induced by D-lactate and generates pyruvate to satisfy energetic demands for their elevated self-renewal potential.Hence,we conclude that esophageal CSCs adopt a D-lactate elimination and pyruvate accumulation mode dependent on CDK7-YAP-LDHD axis,which drives stemness-associated hallmarks of ESCC-CSCs.Reasonably,targeting metabolic checkpoints may serve as an effective strategy for ESCC therapy.Mengzhu Lv Ying Gong Xuesong Liu Yan Wang Qingnan Wu Jie Chen Qingjie Min Dongyu Zhao Xianfeng Li Dongshao Chen Di Yang Danna Yeerken Rui Liu Jinting Li Weimin Zhang Qimin Zhan 2023Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2023,8,9:1

14Defect of SLC38A3 promotes epithelial-mesenchymal transition and predicts poor prognosis in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma显示文摘Objective: Solute carrier family 38(SLC38 s) transporters play important roles in amino acid transportation and signaling transduction. However, their genetic alterations and biological roles in tumors are still largely unclear.This study aimed to elucidate the genetic signatures of SLC38 s transporters and their implications in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma(ESCC).Methods: Analyses on somatic mutation and copy number alterations(CNAs) of SLC38 A3 were performed as described. Immunohistochemistry(IHC) assay and Western blot assay were used to detect the protein expression level. MTS assay, colony formation assay, transwell assay and wound healing assay were used to explore the malignant phenotypes of ESCC cells. Immunofluorescence assay was used to verify the colocalization of two indicated proteins and immunopreciptation assay was performed to confirm the interaction of proteins.Results: Our findings revealed that SLC38 s family was significantly disrupted in ESCC, with high frequent CNAs and few somatic mutations. SLC38 A3 was the most frequent loss gene among them and was linked to poor survival and lymph node metastasis. The expression of SLC38 A3 was lower in tumor tissues compared to that in normal tissues, which was also significantly associated with worse clinical outcome. Further experiments revealed that depletion of SLC38 A3 could promote EMT in ESCC cell lines, and the interaction of SLC38 A3 and SETDB1 might lead to the reduced transcription of Snail.
