| 1 | Multi-objective robot motion planning using a particle swarm optimization model显示文摘Two new heuristic models are developed for motion planning of point robots in known environments.The first model is a combination of an improved particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithm used as a global planner and the probabilistic roadmap (PRM) method acting as a local obstacle avoidance planner.For the PSO component,new improvements are proposed in initial particle generation,the weighting mechanism,and position-and velocity-updating processes.Moreover,two objective functions which aim to minimize the path length and oscillations,govern the robot’s movements towards its goal.The PSO and PRM components are further intertwined by incorporating the best PSO particles into the randomly generated PRM.The second model combines a genetic algorithm component with the PRM method.In this model,new specific selection,mutation,and crossover operators are designed to evolve the population of discrete particles located in continuous space.Thorough comparisons of the developed models with each other,and against the standard PRM method,show the advantages of the PSO method. | Ellips MASEHIAN Davoud SEDIGHIZADEH | 2010 | Journal of Zhejiang University-Science C(Computers and Electronics)2010，11，8： | 11 |

| 3 | Iran supports a great share of biodiversity and floristic endemism for Fritillaria spp.(Liliaceae):A review显示文摘Iran supports a great share of exotic and/or endemic plant genera and species. The genus Fritillaria(Liliaceae) is a precious part of this botanical richness with 19 species, of which 10 are endemic to the country. However, signs are mounting that the country is truly at a crossroads when it comes to preservation of this national wealth. In this regard, an effective conservation strategy should thoroughly consider the classification of Fritillaria, as conservation practices are compromised by knowledge gaps in systematics and taxonomy. | 4 | Infrared thin layer drying of saffron(Crocus sativus L.) stigmas:Mass transfer parameters and quality assessment显示文摘Saffron is the most precious and expensive agricultural product. A dehydration treatment is necessary to convert Crocus sativus L. stigmas into saffron spice. To the best of our knowledge, no information on mass transfer parameters of saffron stigmas is available in the literature. This study aimed at investigating the moisture transfer parameters and quality attributes of saffron stigmas under infrared treatment at different temperatures(60,70, …, 110 °C). It was observed that the dehydration process of the samples occurred in a short accelerating rate period at the start followed by a falling rate period. The effective moisture diffusivity and convective mass transfer coefficient were determined by using the Dincer and Dost model. The diffusivity values varied from1.1103 × 10^(-10)m^2·s^(-1)to 4.1397 × 10^(-10)m^2·s^(-1) and mass transfer coefficient varied in the range of 2.6433 × 10^(-7)–8.7203 × 10^(-7)m·s^(-1). The activation energy was obtained to be 27.86 k J·mol^(-1). The quality assessment results showed that the total crocin content increased, when the temperature increased up to90 °C but, in higher temperatures, the amount of crocin decreased slightly. The total safranal content of the samples decreased slightly when drying temperature increased from 60 °C to 70 °C and then continuously increased up to 110 °C. | 12 | Evaluation of imatinib mesylate(Gleevec) on KAI1/CD82 gene expression in breast cancer MCF-7 cells using quantitative real-time PCR显示文摘Objective: To evaluate the effect of imatinib mesylate on cell viability, anti cancer effect through modulation of KAI1/CD82 gene expression in breast cancer MCF-7 cell line.Methods: The effects of imatinib mesylate on cell viability in MCF-7 cell line were assessed using MTT assay and IC_(50) value was determined. GAPDH and KAI1/CD82 were selected as reference and target genes, respectively. Quantitative real time PCR technique was applied for investigation of KAI1/CD82 gene expression in human breast cancer MCF-7 cells. Subsequently, the quantity of KAI1 compared to GAPDH gene expressions were analyzed using the formula; 2^(-DDCt).Results: Imatinib was showed to have a dose-dependent inhibitory effect on the viability of MCF-7 cells.
