1IMPACTS OF DIMENSION AND SLOPE OF SUBMERGED SPUR DIKES ON LOCAL SCOUR PROCESSES-AN EXPERIMENTAL STUDY显示文摘In this experimental study, the impacts of the slope of the upstream face of submerged spur dikes on scour patterns in the vicinity of the submerged spur dike have been investigated. Associated hydraulic parameters for scour initiation have been studied. The dependence of the criteria for scour initiation and scour patterns on the dike dimensions such as the dike length and height has been assessed. It is found that the maximum depth of a scour hole is localized upstream of the spur dike end. The location of the maximum scouring depth, the end of the spur dike, and the spot with the maximum deposition are nearly aligned and form a line approximately parallel to the flume wall. Results show that the proper selection of a sloped upstream face of the spur dike can significantly reduce the maximum scour depth and scour volume in the vicinity of the submerged spur dike. Equations have been established to describe the dependence of the criteria for scour initiation and the maximum depth of the scour hole on the Froude number of the flow, the blockage of the cross section by the spur dikes, the slope of upstream face of the spur dike, and the grain size of the bed material.Daxian FANG Jueyi SUI Ronald W.THRING Hongya ZHANG 2006International Journal of Sediment Research2006,21,2:4

9Versatile Electrospinning for Structural Designs and Ionic Conductor Orientation in All-Solid-State Lithium Batteries显示文摘Recent advances in next-generation energy storage devices have focused on flexible and wearable all-solid-state lithium batteries(ASSLBs),mainly because of their advantages in terms of safety and extensive applications.Among various tech-nologies for the preparation of flexible electrodes,electrospinning is a straightforward operation and cost-effective mean for the facile fabrication of flexible nanofibers and the versatile design of nanofiber structure.Herein,current technologies for engineering electrospun nanofiber structures and their state-of-the-art implementation in flexible ASSLBs are reviewed.First,current strategies for nanofiber structural design,including advances in high-specific surface area,superior mechanical flexibility,and various nanostructures,are systematically discussed.Subsequently,the utilization of electrospun nanofibers in ASSLBs is reviewed.Electrospinning of flexible and highly ion-conductive solid-state electrolytes(SSEs)is emphasized,and current nanofiber structural designs for SSEs and electrodes for ASSLBs are introduced.Despite these advances,there have not been enough studies of the integration of versatile electrospinning techniques in nanofiber structural design for both SSEs and electrodes.In the final section,promising pathways to implement versatile electrospinning in flexible ASSLBs with superior electrochemical performance and stable cycling properties are discussed.Thus,this review provides a holistic overview of the state of the art of electrospinning for high-performance flexible ASSLBs,which could safely power next-generation flexible devices.Qiang Li Xiao Sun Daxian Cao Ying Wang Pengcheng Luan Hongli Zhu 2022Electrochemical Energy Reviews2022,5,4:1

16Stroke optimization of a novel multi-station rotary polishing robot based on workspace analysis显示文摘In order to meet the polishing requirement of faucets and other products,a novel multi-station rotary polishing robot is designed,which is a PPPR + RR type of degree of freedom( DOF) distribution structure,and is similar to dual-arm robot. Forward and inverse kinematic analysis is carried out by robot modeling. In order to make this robot structure more compact,first of all,X,Y and Z three moving degrees of freedom( DOF) limit stroke polishing need is calculated by using an artificial fish swarm algorithm,which analyzes dexterous workspace of this robot. Then,on the basis of the above analysis,the three DOF stroke is optimized. 18One-step synthesis of novel core-shell bimetallic hexacyanoferrate for high performance sodium-storage cathode显示文摘Recently, the design of core-shell hierarchical architecture plays an important role in improving the electrochemical performance of Prussian blue analogue cathodes(PBAs). Unfortunately, the inconvenient stepwise preparation and the strict lattice-matching requirement have restricted the development of coreshell PBAs. Herein, we demonstrate a one-step synthesis strategy to synthesize core-shell manganese hexacyanoferrate(MnFeHCF@MnFeHCF) for the first time. And the formation mechanism of the core-shell hierarchical architecture is investigated by first-principles calculations. It is found that the as-obtained Mn FeHCF@MnFeHCF act out the superior intrinsic natures, which not only can obtain a larger specific surface area and lower Fe(CN)_(6) vacancies but also can activate more Na-storage sites. Compared with the manganese hexacyanoferrate(MnHCF), the iron hexacyanoferrate(FeHCF), and even the traditional coreshell nickel hexacyanoferrate(FeHCF@NiHCF) prepared by a stepwise method, the Mn Fe HCF@MnFeHCF demonstrates a superior rate performance, which achieves a high capacity of 131 mAh g^(−1) at 50 mA g^(−1) and delivers a considerable discharge capacity of about 100 mAh g^(−1) even at 1600 mA g^(−1). Meantime, the capacity retention can reach up to nearly 80% after 500 cycles. The improved performances could be mainly originated from two aspects: on the one hand, Mn substitution is helpful to enhance the material conductivity;on the other hand, the core-shell structure with matched lattice parameters is more favorable to enhance the diffusion coefficient of sodium ions. 19A Calibration Method of Robot Base Frame with Procrustes Analysis显示文摘In order to realize high precision industrial operations,based on the POE formula,an effective approach to calibrate the robot's actual base frame(ABF) is proposed. Due to the existence of manufacturing errors,the ABF deviates slightly from nominal base frame( NBF). Using external precision measurement,the ABF can be established only through the three dimension(3D) position of the robot's end-effector.To ensure the orthonormal constraints of rotation matrix as well as the precise solutions,Procrustes Analysis is introduced,where an optimal orthogonal matrix is solved out by the Lagrange Multiplier method and Singular Value Decomposition(SVD). Furthermore,calibration experiment on a serial 6-DOF robot is performed,where a FARO laser tracker is utilized to measure the 3D position. Finally, calibration result indicates that the positioning accuracy has been significantly improved after calibration. 20Simple-structured hydrophilic sensors for sweat uric acid detection with laser-engraved polyimide electrodes and cellulose paper substrates显示文摘Accurate detection of uric acid(UA)is crucial for diagnosing gout,yet traditional sweat-based UA sensors continue to face challenges posed by complex and costly electrode fabrication methods,as well as weakly hydrophilic substrates.Here,we designed and developed simple,low-cost,and hydrophilic sweat UA detection sensors constructed by carbon electrodes and cellulose paper substrates.The carbon electrodes were made by carbonized polyimide films through a simple,one-step laser engraving method.Our electrodes are porous,possess a large specific surface area,and are flexible and conductive.The substrates were composed of highly hydrophilic cellulose paper that can effectively collect,store,and transport sweat.The constructed electrodes demonstrate high sensitivity of 0.4μA Lμmol^(-1)cm^(-2),wide linear range of 2–100μmol/L.In addition,our electrodes demonstrate high selectivity,excellent reproducibility,high flexibility,and outstanding stability against mechanical bending,temperature variations,and extended storage periods.Furthermore,our sensors have been proven to provide reliable results when detecting UA levels in real sweat and on real human skin.We envision that these sensors hold enormous potential for use in the prognosis,diagnosis,and treatment of gout.Linhe Xu Xueshan Hu Shuang Zhou Ze Zhang Junxian Zhang Chao Li Daxian Zuo Hao Liu Gang Chen Jiayu Wan Jinsong Tao 2024Chinese Chemical Letters2024,35,3:0
