| 1 | Progress in ENSO prediction and predictability study显示文摘ENSO is the strongest interannual signal in the global climate system with worldwide climatic, ecological and societal impacts. Over the past decades, the research about ENSO prediction and predictability has attracted broad attention. With the development of coupled models, the improvement in initialization schemes and the progress in theoretical studies, ENSO has become the most predictable climate mode at the time scales from months to seasons. This paper reviews in detail the progress in ENSO predictions and predictability studies achieved in recent years. An emphasis is placed on two fundamental issues: the improvement in practical prediction skills and progress in the theoretical study of the intrinsic predictability limit. | 2 | Fragmentation characteristics analysis of sandstone fragments based on impact rockburst test显示文摘Impact rockburst test on sandstone samples with a central hole is carried out under true triaxial static loads and vertical dynamic load conditions,and rock fragments after the test are collected.The fragments of sandstone generated from strain rockburst test and uniaxial compression test are also collected.The fragments are weighed and the length,width and thickness of each piece of fragments are measured respectively.The fragment quantities with coarse,medium,fine and micro grains in different size ranges,mass and particles distributions are also analyzed.Then,the fractal dimension of fragments is calculated by the methods of size-frequency,mass-frequency and length-to-thickness ratio-frequency.It is found that the crushing degree of impact rockburst fragments is higher,accompanied with blocky characteristics observably.The mass percentage of small grains,including fine and micro grains,in impact rockburst test is higher than those in strain rockburst test and uniaxial compression test.Energy dissipation from rockburst tests is more than that from uniaxial compression test,as the quantity of micro grains generated does. | Dongqiao Liu Dejian Li Fei Zhao Chengchao Wang | 2014 | Journal of Rock Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering2014,6,3: | 8 |

| 4 | ^(131)I-Evans blue: evaluation of necrosis targeting property and preliminary assessment of the mechanism in animal models显示文摘Necrosis is a form of cell death, which is related to various serious diseases such as cardiovascular disease, cancer, and neurodegeneration. Necrosis-avid agents(NAAs) selectively accumulated in the necrotic tissues can be used for imaging and/or therapy of related diseases. The aim of this study was to preliminarily investigate necrosis avidity of ^(131)I-evans blue( ^(131)I-EB) and its mechanism. The biodistribution of ^(131)I-EB at 24 h after intravenous administration showed that the radioactivity ratio of necrotic to viable tissue was 3.41 in the liver and 11.82 in the muscle as determined by γ counting in model rats. Autoradiography and histological staining displayed preferential uptake of ^(131)I-EB in necrotic tissues. In vitro nuclear extracts from necrotic cells exhibited 82.3% of the uptake in nuclei at 15 min, as well as 79.2% of the uptake at 2 h after ^(131)I-EB incubation. The DNA binding study demonstrated that evans blue(EB) has strong binding affinity with calf-thymus DNA(CT-DNA)(K_(sv)= 5.08×10~5 L/(mol/L)). | 5 | High-definition colorful perovskite narrowband photodetector array enabled by laser-direct-writing显示文摘Narrowband photodetectors as specific spectral sensing pixels have drawn intense attention in multispectral detection due to their distinct characteristic of filter-free spectrum discrimination,in which the emerging halide lead perovskites witness a booming development in their performance and wavelength-selectivity from blue to near-infrared light.However,the challenge in integrating perovskite narrowband photodetectors on one chip imposes an impediment on practical application.In this work,the combination of laser-direct-writing and ion exchange is proposed as an efficient way to fabricate high-definition colorful sensing array with perovskite narrowband photodetector unit as pixel.Under laser irradiation,the photolysis of halocarbon solvent(CHCl_(3),CH_(3)CH_(2)I,etc)releases the halide ions,which brings the ion exchange and gives rise to slow-varying bandgap in single perovskite photoactive film.This ion exchange can be controlled via laser irradiation time and focus point,thus enabling precisely engineerable bandgap.By optimizing the process,it is successfully applied to develop patterned perovskite narrow blue and green photodetectors array with a high-definition of~53 ppi.We believe this result will make a great step forward to integrate multifunctional perovskite devices on one chip,which will pave the way for perovskite optoelectronic device to the commercial application. | Xiaobao Xu Yuhang Dong Yuanzhou Zhang Zeyao Han Jiaxin Liu Dejian Yu Yi Wei Yousheng Zou Bo Huang Jun Chen Haibo Zeng | 2022 | Nano Research2022,15,6: | 2 |

| 7 | Stress dependence of the creep behaviors and mechanisms of a third-generation Ni-based single crystal superalloy显示文摘Elevated temperature creep behaviors at 1100℃ over a wide stress regime of 120-174 MPa of a thirdgeneration Ni-based single crystal superalloy were studied. With a reduced stress from 174 to 120 MPa, the creep life increased by a factor of 10.5, from 87 h to 907 h, presenting a strong stress dependence. A splitting phenomenon of the close-(about 100 nm) and sparse-(above 120 nm) spaced dislocation networks became more obvious with increasing stress. Simultaneously, ao<010> superdislocations with low mobil让ies were frequently observed under a lower stress to pass through γ precipitates by a combined slip and climb of two ao<110> superpartials or pure climb. However, ao<110> superdislocations with higher mobility were widely found under a higher stress, which directly sheared into y precipitates. Based on the calculated critical resolved shear stresses for various creep mechanisms, the favorable creep mechanism was systematically analyzed. | 15 | Broadband and sensitive two-dimensional halide perovskite photodetector for full-spectrum underwater optical communication显示文摘Full-spectrum underwater optical communication(UOC)is of great significance for major strategic needs including resource development,scientific exploration,and homeland security.As the core of the full-spectrum UOC system,photodetectors(PDs)are plagued by stringent requirements including a broadband response,intrinsic water resistance,and a high detectivity.In this work,two-dimensional(2D)halide perovskites(HPs)and corresponding PDs are constructed by stearamine(SA),representing the rarely explored long-chain aliphatic amine series,to own waterproofness,ultralow noise,and superior optoelectronic performance,which consequently enable a high suitability for UOC.By dimensionality and composition modulations to extend the absorption onset down to 1.5 eV,a broadband response covering the entire transmission window of water(>1.55 eV)for full-spectrum UOC can be obtained.Besides,featuring a high responsivity of 3.27 A·W^(-1),a peak external quantum efficiency(EQE)of 630%,fast rise/decay times of 0.35 ms/0.54 ms,a superior detectivity up to 1.35×10^(12)Jones and the capability to distinguish various waveforms and light intensities,the PDs present sensitive and persistent photoresponse underwater.As a result,proof-of-concept wireless transmission of ASCII codes in water is demonstrated. | Dejian Yu Fei Cao Yu Gu Zeyao Han Jiaxin Liu Bo Huang Xiaobao Xu Haibo Zeng | 2021 | Nano Research2021,14,4: | 1 |

| 20 | Serrated chip characteristics and formation mechanism in high-speed machining of selective laser melted Ti6Al4V alloys显示文摘Serrated chips,consisting of extremely uneven plastic deformation,are a prominent feature of high-speed machining of difficultto-machine materials.This paper focuses on the evolution of chip form,chip morphology features(chip free surface,tool-chip contact surface,and chip edge),and chip segment parameters in subsequent high-speed(vc=50 and 150 m min-1)machining of selective laser melted(SLMed)Ti6Al4V alloys,which are significantly different from conventional Ti6Al4V alloy in microstructure,mechanical properties and machinability.The effect of laser beam scanning schemes(0°,67.5°,and 90°),machined surfaces(top and front),and cutting speeds on serrated chip characteristics of SLMed Ti6Al4Valloys was investigated.Based on the Johnson-Cook constitutive model of SLMed Ti6Al4Valloys,an orthogonal cutting model was developed to better understand the effect of physical-mechanical properties on the shear localization,which dominates the formation mechanism of serrated chips in post-machining of SLMed Ti6Al4V alloy.The results showed that the critical cutting speed(CCS)for chip serration of SLMed Ti6Al4V alloy is lower than that for serrated chips of conventional Ti6Al4V alloy,and the serrated profile of SLMed Ti6Al4V chips was more regular and pronounced.Besides,due to anisotropic microstructure and mechanical properties of SLMed Ti6Al4Valloys,the serration degree of chips produced on the top surfaces of SLMed Ti6Al4Valloys is more prominent than that of chips generated on the front surfaces.In addition,because of the poor deformation coordination and high plastic flow stresses of needle-like martensiteα′,the plastic flow and grain distortion in the adiabatic shear band(ASB)of SLMed Ti6Al4V chips are significantly smaller than those in the ASB of conventional Ti6Al4V with equiaxed grains. | LIU DeJian WANG YouQiang NI ChenBing ZHU LiDa ZHENG ZhongPeng | 2023 | Science China(Technological Sciences)2023,66,5: | 0 |
