1Targeted mutagenesis in Arabidopsis thaliana using CRISPR-Casi2b/C2ci^°°显示文摘Casi2b/C2ci is a newly identified class 2 CRISPR endonuclease that was recently engineered for targeted genome editing in mammals and rice.To explore the potential applications of the CRISPR-Casi2b system in the dicot Arabidopsis thaliana,we selected BvCasi2b and BhCasi2b v4 for analysis.We successfully used both endonucleases to induce mutations,perform multiplex genome editing,and create large deletions at multiple loci.No significant mutations were detected at potential off-target sites.Analysis of the insertion/deletion frequencies and patterns of mutants generated via targeted gene mutagenesis highlighted the potential utility of CRISPRCasi2b systems for genome editing in Arabidopsis.Fan Wu Xinyu Qiao Yafei Zhao Ziyi Zhang Yifan Gao Lingfeng Shi Haokun Du Lulu Wang Ya-Jie Zhang Yu Zhang Langyu Liu Quan Wang Dejing Kong 2020Journal of Integrative Plant Biology2020,62,11:1
2Novel liquid scintillator radon detector显示文摘Purpose Radon is a noble gas,which endangers our health.The liquid scintillator is one of the detector materials used to measure radon in the environment.But there are challenges in measuring radon using a liquid scintillator,such as independent manual operation and long measurement periods.Methods and Results We propose a liquid scintillator detector for the rapid measurement of radon,which is composed of a breathable liquid scintillator probe and photomultiplier tube.Cascade decay recognition and pulse shape discrimination(PSD)were used to select radon events.241 Am4(α)and 90Sr(β)source calibration was used to optimize the PSDfigure of merit of the liquid scintillator,and a 232Th(220Rn)diffusion source was used to verify the function of this novel detector for measuring radon.Conclusion The detector had an integrated design for sampling and measurement,which simplified the measurement steps.Thus,this novel liquid scintillator detector demonstrated promise for use in radon-detection systems.Junjie Li Xilei Sun Jiaxuan Ye Baohua Qi Xin Ling Yong Deng Dejing Du Xiaoxue Fan Fengbo Gu Xiaohui Qi Huan Jiang Chenger Wang Zhihang Zhu Guopu Qu 2022Radiation Detection Technology and Methods2022,6,3:0
