1Chromosome-level genome of Himalayan yew provides insights into the origin and evolution of the paclitaxel biosynthetic pathway显示文摘Taxus,commonly known as yew,is a well-known gymnosperm with great ornamental and medicinal value.In this study,by assembling a chromosome-level genome of the Himalayan yew(Taxus wallichiana)with 10.9 Gb in 12 chromosomes,we revealed that tandem duplication acts as the driving force of gene family evolution in the yew genome,resulting in the main genes for paclitaxel biosynthesis,i.e.those encoding the taxadiene synthase,P450s,and transferases,being clustered on the same chromosome.The tandem duplication may also provide genetic resources for the nature to sculpt the core structure of taxoids at different positions and subsequently establish the complex pathway of paclitaxel by neofunctionalization.Furthermore,we confirmed that there are two genes in the cluster encoding isoenzymes of a known enzyme in the paclitaxel biosynthetic pathway.The reference genome of the Himalayan yew will serve as a platform for decoding the complete biosynthetic pathway of paclitaxel and understanding the chemodi-versity of taxoids in gymnosperms.Jian Cheng Xiao Wang Xiaonan Liu Xiaoxi Zhu Zihe Li Huanyu Chu Qian Wang QianQian Lou Bijun Cai Yiqun Yang Xiaoyun Lu Kai Peng Dingyu Liu Yuwan Liu Lina Lu Huan Liu Ting Yang Qijin Ge Chengcheng Shi Guichun Liu Zhiwei Dong Xun Xu Wen Wang Huifeng Jiang Yanhe Ma 2021Molecular Plant2021,14,7:6
2Modified Grey Model Predictor Design Using Optimal Fractional-order Accumulation Calculus显示文摘The major advantage of grey system theory is that both incomplete information and unclear problems can be processed precisely. Considering that the modeling of grey model(GM) depends on the preprocessing of the original data,the fractional-order accumulation calculus could be used to do preprocessing. In this paper, the residual sequence represented by Fourier series is used to ameliorate performance of the fractionalorder accumulation GM(1,1) and improve the accuracy of predictor. The state space model of optimally modified GM(1,1)predictor is given and genetic algorithm(GA) is used to find the smallest relative error during the modeling step. Furthermore,the fractional form of continuous GM(1,1) is given to enlarge the content of prediction model. The simulation results illustrated that the fractional-order calculus could be used to depict the GM precisely with more degrees of freedom. Meanwhile, the ranges of the parameters and model application could be enlarged with better performance. 6HSCS:a hybrid shared cache scheduling scheme for multiprogrammed workloads显示文摘The traditional dynamic random-access memory (DRAM)storage medium can be integrated on chips via modem emerging 3D-stacking technology to architect a DRAM shared cache in multicore systems.Compared with static random-access memory (SRAM),DRAM is larger but slower.In the existing research,a lot of work has been devoted to improving the workload performance using SRAM and stacked DRAM together in shared cache systems,ranging from SRAM structure improvement to optimizing cache tags and data access.However,little attention has been paid to designing a shared cache scheduling scheme for multiprogrammed workloads with different memory footprints in multicore systems.Motivated by this,we propose a hybrid shared cache scheduling scheme that allows a multicore system to utilize SRAM and 3D-stacked DRAM efficiently, thus achieving better workload performance.This scheduling scheme employs (1)a cache monitor,which is used to collect cache statistics;(2)a cache evaluator,which is used to evaluate the cache information during the process of programs being executed;and (3)a cache switcher,which is used to self-adaptively choose SRAM or DRAM shared cache modules.A cache data migration policy is naturally developed to guarantee that the scheduling scheme works correctly.Extensive experiments are conducted to evaluate the workload performance of our proposed scheme.The experimental resuits showed that our method can improve the multiprogrammed workload performance by up to 25%compared with state-of-the-art methods (including conventional and DRAM cache systems).Jingyu ZHANG Chentao WU Dingyu YANG Yuanyi CHEN Xiaodong MENG Liting XU Minyi GUO 2018Frontiers of Computer Science2018,12,6:1
7PLX8394,a RAF inhibitor,inhibits enterovirus 71 replication by blocking RAF/MEK/ERK signaling显示文摘Enterovirus 71(EV71)poses a serious threat to human health,with scattered outbreaks worldwide.There are several vaccines against a few EV71 strains but no efficient drug for the treatment of EV71 infection.Therefore,it is urgent and of significance to develop anti-EV71 drugs.Here,we found that PLX8394,a RAF inhibitor,possesses high antiviral activity against EV71 in vitro,being superior to the traditional clinical drug ribavirin.Moreover,PLX8394 exhibits broad-spectrum antiviral activity against enteroviruses.Notably,in a suckling mouse model,PLX8394 provided a 70%protection rate for EV71-infected mice,reduced the viral load in liver and heart tissues,and relieved the inflammatory response.A mechanistic study showed that PLX8394 inhibited EV71 by suppressing the RAF/MEK/ERK signaling pathway.Thus,PLX8394 lays a foundation for the development of new drugs against EV71.Chengyuan Wu Guangyan Zhu Fang Qiu Fuli Ren Binbin Lin Dingyu Zhang Qingyu Yang Chaolin Huang 2023Virologica Sinica2023,38,2:0
8Preparation of Eco-Friendly High-Performance Manganese Dioxide Supercapacitors by Linear Sweep Voltammetry显示文摘In this paper,the non-polluting,non-toxic,and eco-friendly material-MnO_(2)electrodes were deposited on three-dimensional porous nickel(Ni)foam by linear sweep voltammetry,and the entire electrodeposition process did not require sintering of the material,which was fast and convenient while avoiding unnecessary energy consump-tion and thus was environmentally friendly.Scanning electron microscopy(SEM)and transmission electron microscopy were used to examine the surface and microscopic characteristics of each sample(TEM).Chronoam-perometry(CA),cyclic voltammetry(CV),galvanostatic charge/discharge(GCD),and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy(EIS)were then used to determine the electrochemical characteristics of the manufactured samples.The result suggests that the MnO_(2)-sv80 electrode sample at a scan rate of 80 mV/s^(−1)has excellent performance for the supercapacitor electrode.The specific capacitance was as high as 531.4 F g^(−1)at a current density of 1 A g^(−1)and remained at 223.2 F g^(−1)at an ultra-high current density of 20 A g^(−1),with capacitance retention of 42%.Junshan Zhao Yihan Shi Ming Zhang Liu Zhang Xumei Cui Xinghua Zhu Jitong Su Dandan Jing Dingyu Yang 2023Journal of Renewable Materials2023,11,1:0
9Sampling visual SLAM with a wide-angle camera for legged mobile robots显示文摘Precise localisation and navigation are the two most important tasks for mobile robots.Visual simultaneous localisation and mapping(VSLAM)is useful in localisation systems of mobile robots.The wide-angle camera has a broad field of vision and more abundant information on images,so it is widely used in mobile robots,including legged robots.However,wide-angle cameras are more complicated than ordinary cameras in the design of visual localisation systems,and higher requirements and challenges are put forward for VSLAM technologies based on wide-angle cameras.In order to resolve the problem of distortion in wide-angle images and improve the accuracy of localisation,a sampling VSLAM based on a wide-angle camera model for legged mobile robots is proposed.For the predictability of the periodic motion of a legged robot,in the method,the images are sampled periodically,image blocks with clear texture are selected and the image details are enhanced to extract the feature points on the image.Then,the feature points of the blocks are extracted and by using the feature points of the blocks in the images,the feature points on the images are extracted.Finally,the points on the incident light through the normalised plane are selected as the template points;the relationship between the template points and the images is established through the wide-angle camera model,and the pixel coordinates of the template points in the images and the descriptors are calculated.Moreover,many experiments are conducted on the TUM datasets with a quadruped robot.The experimental results show that the trajectory error and translation error measured by the proposed method are reduced compared with the VINS-MONO,ORB-SLAM3 and Periodic SLAM systems.Guangyu Fan Jiaxin Huang Dingyu Yang Lei Rao 2022IET Cyber-Systems and Robotics2022,4,4:0
