| 1 | Contamination trends of polybrominated diphenyl ethers, organochlorine pesticides and heavy metals in sediments from Dagu Drainage River estuary, Tianjin显示文摘Concentrations of polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDEs), organochlorine pesticides (OCPs) and heavy metals in two sediment cores, taken from the Dagu Drainage River, were determined. The contamination trends of these three kinds of compounds were obtained. The results showed that concentrations of PBDEs increased in recent years; there were new contamination sources for OCPs in this area; contamination levels of heavy metals had no significant change in the last several years. | 2 | Association between fluid-attenuated inversion recovery vascular hyperintensity and outcome varies with different lesion patterns in patients with intravenous thrombolysis显示文摘Background and purpose To evaluate relationship between fluid-attenuated inversion recovery vascular hyperintensity(FVH)after intravenous thrombolysis and outcomes in different lesion patterns on diffusion-weighted imaging(DWI).Methods Patients with severe internal carotid or intracranial artery stenosis who received intravenous thrombolysis from March 2012 to April 2019 were analysed.They were divided into four groups by DWI lesion patterns:border-zone infarct(BZ group),multiple lesions infarct(ML group),large territory infarct(LT group),and single cortical or subcortical lesion infarct(SL group).Logistic regression was performed to identify risk factors for outcome(unfavourable outcome,modified Rankin Scale(mRS)≥2;poor outcome,mRS≥3).Results Finally,203 participants(63.3±10.2 years old;BZ group,n=72;ML group,n=64;LT group,n=37;SL group,n=30)from 1190 patient cohorts were analysed.After adjusting for confounding factors,FVH(+)was associated with unfavourable outcome in total group(OR 3.02;95%CI 1.49 to 6.13;p=0.002),BZ group(OR 4.22;95%CI 1.25 to 14.25;p=0.021)and ML group(OR 5.44;95%CI 1.41 to 20.92;p=0.014)patients.FVH(+)was associated with poor outcome in total group(OR 2.25;95%CI 1.01 to 4.97;p=0.046),BZ group(OR 5.52;95%CI 0.98 to 31.07;p=0.053)and ML group(OR 4.09;95%CI 1.04 to 16.16;p=0.045)patients,which was marginal significance.FVH(+)was not associated with unfavourable or poor outcome in LT and SL groups.Conclusion This study suggests that association between FVH and outcome varies with different lesion patterns on DWI.The presence of FVH after intravenous thrombolysis may help to identify patients who require close observations in the hospitalisation in patients with border-zone and multiple lesion infarcts. | Erling Wang Chuanjie Wu Dandan Yang Xihai Zhao Jie Zhao Hong Chang Qi Yang | 2021 | Stroke & Vascular Neurology2021,6,3: | 3 |

| 5 | A method of estimating the Martian neutral atmospheric density at 130 km, and comparison of its results with Mars Global Surveyor and Mars Odyssey aerobraking observations based on the Mars Climate Database outputs显示文摘Profiles of the Martian dayside ionosphere can be used to derive the neutral atmospheric densities at 130 km,which can also be obtained from the Mars Climate Database(MCD)and spacecraft aerobraking observations.In this research,we explain the method used to calculate neutral densities at 130 km via ionosphere observations and three long-period 130-km neutral density data sets at northern high latitudes(latitudes>60°)acquired through ionospheric data measured by the Mars Global Surveyor(MGS)Radio Occultation Experiment.The calculated 130-km neutral density data,along with 130-km density data from the aerobraking observations of the MGS and Mars Odyssey(ODY)in the northern high latitudes,were compared with MCD outputs at the same latitude,longitude,altitude,solar latitude,and local time.The 130-km density data derived from both the ionospheric profiles and aerobraking observations were found to show seasonal variations similar to those in the MCD data.With a negative shift of about 2×10^10 cm^−3,the corrected 130-km neutral densities derived from MCD v4.3 were consistent with those obtained from the two different observations.This result means that(1)the method used to derive the 130-km neutral densities with ionospheric profiles was effective,(2)the MCD v4.3 data sets generally overestimated the 130-km neutral densities at high latitudes,and(3)the neutral density observations from the MGS Radio Science Experiment could be used to calibrate a new atmospheric model of Mars. | JunFeng Qin Hong Zou YuGuang Ye YongQiang Hao JinSong Wang Erling Nielsen | 2020 | Earth and Planetary Physics2020,4,4: | 1 |

| 7 | Orthogonal modular biosynthesis of nanoscale conjugate vaccines for vaccination against infection显示文摘Conjugate vaccines represent one of the most effective means for controlling the occurrence of bacterial diseases.Although nanotechnology has been greatly applied in the field of vaccines,it is seldom used for conjugate vaccine research because it is very difficult to connect polysaccharides and nanocarriers.In this work,an orthogonal and modular biosynthesis method was used to produce nanoconjugate vaccines using the SpyTag/SpyCatcher system.When SpyTag/SpyCatcher system is combined with protein glycosylation technology,bacterial O-polysaccharide obtained from Shigela flexneri 2a can be conjugated onto the surfaces of different virus-like particles(VLPs)in a biocompatible and controlled manner.After confirming the excellent lymph node targeting and humoral immune activation abilities,these nanoconjugate vaccines further induced efficient prophylactic effects against infection in a mouse model.These results demonstrated that natural polysaccharide antigens can be easily connected to VLPs to prepare highly efficient nanoconjugate vaccines.To the best of the researchers1 knowledge,this is the first time VLP-based nanoconjugate vaccines are produced efficiently,and this strategy could be applied to develop various pathogenic nanoconjugate vaccines. | Xin Li Chao Pan Peng Sun Zhehui Peng Erling Feng Jun Wu Hengliang Wang Li Zhu | 2022 | Nano Research2022,15,2: | 1 |
| 8 | In situ fabrication of 2D SnS2 nanosheets as a new electron transport layer for perovskite solar cells显示文摘To promote commercialization of perovskite solar cells (PSCs), low-temperatureprocessed electron transport layer (ETL) with high carrier mobility still needs tobe further developed. Here, we reported two-dimensional (2D) tin disulfide(SnS2) nanosheets as ETL in PSCs for the first time. The morphologies of the 2DSnS2 material can be easy controlled by the in situ synthesized method on theconductive fluorine-doped fin oxide (FTO) substrate. We achieved a championpower conversion efficiency (PCE) of 13.63%, with the short-circuit currentdensity (Jsc) of 23.70 mA/cm2 open-circuit voltage (Voc) of 0.95 V, and fill factor(FF) of 0.61. The high Jsc of PSCs results from effective electron collection ofthe 2D SnS2 nanosheets from perovskite layer and fast electron transport tothe FTO. The low Voc and FF are the results of the lower conduction band of 2DSnS2 (4.23 eV) than that of TiO2 (4.0 eV). | 9 | Screening and identification of Shigella flexneri 2a virulence-related genes induced after invasion of epithelial cells显示文摘An in vivo expression technology (IVET) was applied to screen s.flexneri 2a genes induced after invasion of epithelial cells, and virulence-related genes were further identified by mutational analysis. Thirteen intracellular induced genes were identified with a HeLa cell infection model. Of these, two were identified as alkylation-related genes; one was related to metabolism; one encoded a transcriptional regulator; three were identified as insertion elements; three ap- peared to be antisense to genes involved in the transmethylation,biosyntheseis, and phos- photransferase system;and three were predicted to encode polypeptides with unknown functions. Intracellular survival assavs showed that the mutants of alkA,citC and wcaJ genes had lower capability of intracellular replication or survival than the the wild-type strain.The results indicated that alkA, citC and wcaJ genes could take part in the intracellular survival or replication of S. flexneri 2a and the capability of intracellular survival or replication could be one of the major virulence elements. However, the yaiC mutant was able to survive in the murine infection assay but almost not in HeLa cell infection assay. Very possibly, yaiC gene was involved in the other mechanism of S. flexneri virulence.
